The food arrived very late and was cold for obvious reason. Charged £6.00 for chicken tikka showing in the picture which is a rip off.

This place is my local go to takeaway and restaurant. The food is amazing, there curry's and chicken tikka are by far Cardiff's best, and the nan breads come one by one fresh out off the tandoori! A absolutely amazing place must try. From the outside and location you maybe put off. But as it says you always find a diamond in the rough!

My daughter and her partner suggested going here. Look in from the outside and you will probably say "no way" at first glance. It looks a bit transport cafe style. Don't be fooled however. The curries here are home cooked, on or off the bone and truly authentic and tasty. On the bone curries just taste completely different from usual curry house fare and in a very positive way. I intend to go back a few times and work through the menu as everything that we had was amazing. 5 of us dined trying different lamb, chicken and vegetarian main courses with pilau rice and nan breads. £40 total. Stunning taste, stunning value. TIP: Keep your eye on Ramadan timings as this restaurant observes Ramadan and therefore may not be open at usual times during the fasting period.

Don't let the tacky decor fool you, this place has a variety of dishes and curry's that reminds me of Pakistan where I came from. If you want to experience a true taste of South Asian dishes, try this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

A friend of mine has been raving about this place for the past 18 months. He told me that for a real "home cooking" experience, it cannot be beaten in Cardiff. We ate there last night, and I must agree with him. It was excellent. If you want a restaurant with fawning waiting staff dressed in a take off of their traditional clothing, push seating, soft lights, sitar music, and, worst of all, a modernised menu with eye watering prices, this is not a place for you. The décor is nothing to get excited about. Basically, the plain walls are decorated with the menu and details of various meal deals. The lighting is bright, the tables and chairs are very basic, but not uncomfortable. My friend did the ordering. I was very surprised. We both have hearty appetites, but he only ordered three starters for each of us, followed by one main course. When I questioned him, he told me not to worry as we could order more if it was necessary. We both started with Vegetable Samosa, Vegetable Pakora, and Onion Bhaji. They were beautifully spiced, and not at all greasy. All were delicious, and the Sasmosa was as good as any that I have ever eaten Cardiff. Our main course was Kerela Gosht. Three very large patties of superbly seasoned minced meat, came accompanied with Salad plus Mint and Yoghurt dressing, and two Nan Breads. The Nan was the best that I have eaten anywhere. Super tasty and. all for £7.00 !!! Amazing value. There was a small selection of typically Eastern Deserts. My friend assured me that the Rice Pudding was to die for. Sadly, I was too stuffed to even think of eating another morsel. I will certainly have it next time. And the Lamb Karahi which looked amazing. Though we were the only two Brits in the place, we did not feel out of place for a moment, as the staff and the other diners were so friendly. It was indeed a pleasure to relax and enjoy eating our food the proper way, using the Nan rather than cutlery. without being stared at. Our total bill came to a miserly £13.00. and I highly recommend this hidden gem.

This is nothing like a normal curry house. I can't believe how much I enjoyed this food. Passionate owner and food to die for. I travelled from st fagans to eat here and it was well worth the travel. I had lamb karahi which had the bone marrow in( amazing) , masala fish ( proper tasty) some kebabs which had some good spice, and was given on the house this yogurt, onion and chickpea side which tied it all together. Get yourself down there.

If you are in Grangetown, Cardiff and are feeling peckish, ignore the usual kebab shops if you fancy something spicy and definately try this place. It is to say the least unpretentious from the outside, although the top hygene rating sticker in the window is reassuring (a statutory Welsh Government policy). Inside, the seating is basic but clean and the staff and locals friendly. This is an establishment where you can sit down or get a take away, but the food is very different from your standard donor kebab rubbish repeated on every street corner. This establishment has traditional ovens and serves wonderful mitau kebabs. I was advised by a friend that this was the place to buy a kebab in the area and he was dead right. The prices were reasonable although a little more than the usual kebab, but then their food is freshly prepared and the salad, sauces and bread wrapped separately. You would not go here for a posh evening meal, but it is spotlessly clean, the service is freindly and the kebabs. Well, I will most certainly be back.
