What a shame!! We drove here & ordered a lamb phall, chicken dhansak, peshwari naan (they spell it “nan”), garlic naan, 2 pappadoms & a pot of mint sauce. What we received was far from the above. The lamb phall had 7 bits of lamb in it with not a single chilli in sight & had the heat of a terrible madras. It just tasted of powdered spices. The chicken dish was bland & not anything like a dhansak. Both the “peahwari” naan & “garlic” naan didn’t have any coconut or garlic in them. On the plus side the pappadoms were delicious. Our entire order came to £23, so I suppose it’s true. You get what you pay for.

Always very good food, been using this for years, Chicken Pakora is very nice, all dishes altered to your desired heat. Specials, balti, tikka, breads all very good.

Visiting family and ordered a meal for 2. Had to spell what I wanted over the phone. Then having collected got home to discover 1 chicken korma not 2. When I called he said what did you get instead I told him I did not know it was orange and not a chicken korma. he said he would send another one straight round which in all fairness he did, but can you believe this, could we give the driver the wrong one back. NEVER EVER would I believe a restaurant would ask for an incorrect dish to be returned, health and hygiene !! Let’s ask ourselves what happened to the returned dish. I would never recommend this restaurant purely for that reason

Have been going here for years and have always raved to other people about the quality of the food. However, the last two takeaways have been very, very disappointing. Smaller portion sizes, devoid of flavour, onion salad is now just roughly chopped onion and nothing else, burned naan, shrivelled mushrooms and seemingly much cheaper range of vegetables. As this is the second time we've had a poor meal , sadly, we won't be using Khusbu again.

Without a doubt, this is the worst Indian meal I have ever had. It was revolting to look at and inedible. No help at all from the restaurant.

Been going here for years, but it has excelled recently! Absolutely wonderful food and great delivery service! Big menu, loads of choice, great flavours - simply delicious! Thoroughly recommended!

Having just moved to the area I was intrigued by the local takeaways. Khusba is very well priced and has a good variety in its menu. Having always gone to the spice in Elmstead I think I have been converted due to the price and in some of the meals a better taste. Always gonna prefer other restaurants way of cooking certain meals but on the whole Khusba is extremely good and we have ordered a few more times than I would expect mainly due to the ease of ordering online.

My family and I have been using this Indian take away for a number of months now be we are never disappointed. The food is lovely, the menu provides a good variety and most importantly, it’s very tasty! They also deliver to the surrounding towns and villages which is a real bonus for places like Brightlingsea. They have there own App that you can use to order food but at the moment the Just Eat app is more user friendly (easier to search for a dish and bring up previous orders for reference etc). Brilliant place for a good meal.

Food was nice and hot when it arrived. The lamb vindaloo was amazing. The rest of the food was also great. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

We always order online and used to get 25% off now it’s been reduced to 15%. The food is very good and always arrives hot and on time. A meal for 3 is about £28 , would definitely recommend

I ordered from Khusbu on Hungry House last week for the first time. My food was delivered early, by a friendly driver. The food was all very good and there was plenty of it. Delicious peshwari naan, rich Bombay aloo, and I tried their Mint Massala which I'd never had before and thoroughly enjoyed it- well marinated chicken and a pleasant sauce. I'd certainly order from Khusbu again.

We ordered at 6.30 - estimated delivery 1hr. After 40mins the timer was reset and the food finally arrived at 8.10. Restaurant was unrepentant - said they were busy when chased. Food quality was just ok but tandoori mixed grill was very meagre for £8.95. Having been loyal customers for 3 years - deserved as quality, quantity and price were consistently high - we’ll be going elsewhere for a while after this low point. Shame.

After a stressful day of hospital, we ordered from here, not expecting to receive the food so qi k as they state an hr delivery. The food was ordered online with a 25% discount and arrived within 40mins. Fantastic food as always, very quick delivery for 3 people only cost £23

It arrived almost on time. It was nowhere near as good quality as it has been in the past. Still you don't know until you try it. It's not hard to cook a decent curry from scratch, let alone paying someone to do it. The price had risen unexpectedly on arrival too.

After being out on a very hot day I couldn't be bothered to cook and no one else in the house was going to step up ! Ordered from here, ordered online and used the 25% discount code 'kush25' food came within the hr, hot and delivered with a smile ! With discount the cost was £26.40. Great food, good service!

Food was 40 minutes late and poor communication and rude member of staff who took no responsibility. One meal was not as advertised or as I have ever had previously. Definitely not worth the money!

Spicy phall as described and the house special is amazing. Have tried numerous in the area and nothing so far compares to the flavour. Big down is my meaty naan bread was more bread than naan, so only 4* on this occasion

I hadnt used this takeaway for long time but will certainly use more now. The food was very good, authentic taste, lovely depth of flavour, bit hotter than expected but easily cooled down with the courtesy poppadoms raita & salad, far preferable to bland!

Like the use of ordering online as you can change items in a dish without confusion. My daughter hates coriander and can't eat onions, so a fantastic idea. Ordered off just eat ... got a rude member of the team who gave me a call but had not told us the order would be delayed. We were told delivery would be at 8.30 but we didn't receive the food till just before 9.30 ... the food tasted really good ... but we were disappointed that we didnt receive any free poppadoms like all other Indians we go to ... communication would have been the key ...

The best place in the area for Indian takeaway. We always use the online ordering, food always delivered within the time stated and you get 25% off , so ours cost £26 for 3 people. Also like that you can change what you want in a dish online. My daughter doesn't like coriander, so we were able to leave that out. Good food, good service.

We ordered food via the app for delivery at 8pm and it informed us that the waiting time would be 75 minutes. There was an advertised promotion code for 25% off (KUSH25) but was disappointed to find that it only allowed us 10% off when it came to paying.

Totally addicted to this place. Gorgeous curries especially the Chicken Vindaloo ! Not too spicy hot like some other places.. Food is always delivered piping hot...Perfect.

Ordered online as you got 25% discount. Ordered for 3 , delivery took an hour. The only downside was no menu in the delivery. Definitely the best takeaway Indian food we have had. The bill came to £28 ( with discount) . Good value, great food. Would recommend

This is the second time I've had a takeaway from Khusbu. The food was delicious on both occasions and a very reasonable price. The balti was one of the best I've had and the onion bhajis and garlic naan are worth a mention. Delivery is free to quite a wide area. Would definitely recommend.

A party of us all ordered different dishes on there online ordering service, we managed to get a discount by using there Face Book page discount code, we collected the order from there 5 star scores on the doors takeaway, all dishes were very good not one crumb was wasted, starters were very nice and not greasy, mains were all very good with no oily separation, I would rate this as one of the best Indian meals I have had in a long time, will use again.

Never used this place before, but as the Indian in Wivenhoe is dire we thought we would chance here as they do deliveries . Our meal can to £26.50 and we were charged 50p for paying on a card ? Strange, but we weren't charged for delivery. Food came within the time stated. Great food, but no menu sent. Missed a trick there ! Will use again if we want a takeaway as the food was great and arrived hot.

Always really good, 25% off on their website and as someone who loves Indian food, I thoroughly recommend a place that's been able to keep me as a loyal customer for so long. Seriously worth a try, plus will deliver for free all the way to Clacton!

We had a large order from here for my mum's birthday and we were not disappointed. Very good curries - highly recommend the Chicken Kashmir and the King Prawn Dupiaza. Large portions and good value for money. Will be using them regularly!

I've now used Khusubu numerous times since my last review. It has been consitently good with generous portions and plenty of salad and raita with side dishes. The 25% discount when you order online spending over a certain ammount greatly reduces the cost. In addition, the staff are very friendly.

I ate here a few months ago and wasn't impressed. However, I recently ordered a meal and it was awesome. Plenty of salad to accompany starters,. complimentary pickle (maybe because the order was over thirty pounds), and plenty of raita. The food was delivered within 20 minutes and was lovely and hot.
