Unbeatable, the location is all it worth, though it was sunny but the breeze was cold refreshing, sitting outside kfc biting boneless is something heavenly!!!!

Food was great. The place was empty when we walked in and we could only find one table that was actually satisfactory to sit at. All the rest were dirty and old food trays still left on them. We ordered at the machines and then went to the counter to ask for some sauce. I stood there for 5 minutes before I was acknowledged. The place was a mess! It then got worse as I went to the bathroom to wash my hands to find the toilet in a terrible state. See pictures. If I worked there I would be ashamed. One member of staff in particular walking round with a headset on talking to another colleague stating that he isn't going to clean up outside as he will get wet in the rain'. I'm glad I'm not their manager. Very unprofessional to be walking round the shop floor complaining to another colleague when customers can hear every word. Customer service skills were disgusting, Won't be returning again in a hurry!

Twister box meal the mini fillet have gone tiny plus was cold, chips also cold gravy pot was not much bigger than a thimble and twister could only mostly taste bbq sauce in bread definitely not worth £10 won’t be rushing back

Went through drive through. Service was fast for a change. Unfortunately I didn't like the boneless chicken. It didn't taste like it used to . For 8 pieces of chicken ,4 chips ,2 sides and a drink £22.99

Food ok service was slow asked for tablet service and all they did was shout table number out so had to collect toilets was a disgrace 🙄

If i could i would give it zero stars, went through drive thru ordered tower burger meal and the chips were okay and the burger was mush and cold and I told them no sauce but put sauce on it anyway. So had to storm in unhappy with my order and demanded my actual order and once I did that they ended up giving me a freshly made burger exactly as I ordered. But definitely will be telling people not to go there disappointing!

Hadn't had KFC for ages so thought I would treat myself. No issues re cleanliness staff polite and didn't wait long but it was quiet. Fries were too seasoned for my liking and not crispy but chicken was good

Spent £90 here tonight, went all the way home to formby to realise most items were missing, they gave me 3 bags, I received a receipt & asked before I left the drive thru if everything was there to which the man replied yes. Rang up once I got home to be told I would have to drive all the way back to collect the rest of my order. I explained my food would be now cold as I need to drive back, I asked for compensation and got nothing other than the food that was missing. Very disappointed as it was a family meal for a birthday and we all wanted to sit together but couldn’t. Do not recommend this place or the long queues in the drive thru.

I ordered a large popcorn chicken meal and sadly on this occasion, it wasn't the best however the majority of the time I enjoyed the food. The staff are very helpful and friendly, in particular, I and my partner were helped by Scott at the counter. He's very friendly and was very helpful. I'd recommend visiting this KFC in Southport.

We've totted it up and are well into more times than not the order being wrong. How hard can it be?

By far the worst KFC I have been to. Every time you go, there is food missing, and it's cold. Went to the frive through tonight, sat for 15 mins waiting for food to come out, ended up going in to get it. It was sat on the side in a bag just getting cold. Came out and checked it, and 2 things were missing and as expected it was stone cold. Not the first time this has happened here, just a horrendous place to eat. Ended up going back in and getting a refund. Will not be returning.

Terrible, understaffed 30 mins in a queue, then half my order missing. Had to then drive back around, and the female who served the food had a terrible attitude. The guy on the drive, though, was excellent and so nice.

Has to be the worst kfc around! Always something missing or wrong with the order! Never again!

Love the coffee, food is fabulous.

Barely any chips they completely forgot to season them my daughter's wrap was very badly packaged and could of spilt everywhere my son's drink was filled up half way and there where kids screaming everywhere and I know I cant control this I have given service a high star because service was surprisingly quick I also got no receipt when I used the machine

Me and my partner went to ocean plaza on 24 3 2024 and got very good food and service we noticed how clean and tidy it was unlike it was in the past, we were greated by Michael and John on our arrival and was waited on by them we will surtanly be going back again.

Chicken good fries over cooked and not nice KFC does not accept Blue light discount for energy workers or Armed forces card anymore as I was informed they have cancelled it

Fairly hit and miss at this one. There's been times when there were no problems, all the food was there and there were no issues with service. However, there have been a couple of instances where the service could be determined as rude and "unbothered". We asked for table service, order was called and we had to collect it. The excuse was that they "had no trays" when we could easily see a stack of trays waiting to be collected at the bin/tray deposit. Food simply dropped into bag, chips all fallen out and milkshake more melted than anticipated. Quite a lot of the time there has been no issues but the situation stated above has happened, to my memory, at least twice now.

About an average KFC, nothing that really made it shine over others, even the touch screen didn't show all the food they had

Usually not too bad from here but the food tasted stale last night, hinting at old/reused oil or being left out for a while? My young son ended up with a stomach ache. Can’t say much about the service since it was fast. No-one inside the store but seems to be the case often.

Once again missed items from the order the drive through really needs sorting. ☹

Hadn't been for ages, mainly due to the fact it used to be dreadful. & That's being kind. BUT went a week or so ago and It was excellent, credit when due. Drive thru service speedy. Food, hot & tasty Even wet back yesterday, same as. WELL DONE ✅👍✅

Chicken was incredibly greasy but service was quick and nice atmosphere besides from the local children who were pretty loud .

What can you say about this unit? The staff are all morons, you just cannot get an order in. Then they don't fulfill the order correctly (after ten minutes of biting hand). And the prices? Gone up 3 or 4 times inflation for cold chips. Do NOT use this unit, go to macdonalds.....

We will never use this kfc again! Rude and unkempt staff, food missing from my order, tables and floors utter filth, covered with sauce, crumbs and litter! Worst kfc we have been in!

Chicken was cold and dry (chips were hot) Service took a while but they apologised for that The only part of the place that was clean were the toilets. All the tables/floors were covered in crumbs and sauce. Salt/napkins etc were not accessible as that area had been closed off and the waiter hadn't provided any with the meal, we needed to ask for them

My husband and I came here for our first date, many years back. It wasn’t our plan, but it’s where we ended up (long story), so we have a fondness for this KFC branch and have been here many times. We popped through the drive in on our way home recently. The food was good and the wait was short (it can get very busy) — can’t fault them. I especially like the watermelon cooler; I’m not usually a fan of fizzy drinks, but this one is quite refreshing.

Just re-visited KFC after they have updated their chips and I have to say they are a huge improvement. This KFC has always been good, service is swift, staff are pleasant. I wouldn't choose to dine in but that's just personal preference. Whole family enjoyed it

The boneless banquet is my go to meal as i can take as big a bite as I like without fear.

I asked for a fork for the fries and they told me they could only give me spoons 🤦

It's OK. Ordering is a hassle. An incredible push to buy meal deal, hard to just order a few pieces of classic chicken

Been again since the bottom part of this post. October 2023 - the service is a joke, the food took literally 20mins, hardly any staff and the ones that did show up to work were slow and ignorant, they give out the bottle of pop with our meal when it was finally ready but don’t give me the cups, so I went back to get some and was ignored for 5 minutes, so I leaned over the counter and grabbed the cups myself!! Also the floor was covered in old food, the tables again were filthy, everything about this place it rotten, the staff, the service and the facilities too! I’ve added some more images to show the filth! KFC need to get a grip. If I was the manager of this place everyone would be fired and new people would be re-trained This place is shocking! Filthy dirty nast! Takes forever to order, then you wait ages for it. Then they don’t even give or offer cups for the drink nor offer plates. Literally all the tables were sat with trays on them filled with rubbish and the ones that weren’t were just covered in crumbs and stickyness. We moved twice not to find a clean table but to find a lesser dirty one. I looked around for some spray and a cloth which I saw by the bin to clean the table myself. Not having my kids eating off a table that’s sanitary level is that of the floor. Plus the bin was overflowing. Pretty grim! It’s not fast food it’s more like fast norovirus!

Waited half an hour in the drive through for 5 cars to be served. Once you are in the drive through there is no way out so we had no choice but to wait. Drove home to realise they had missed parts of our order off despite being charged for the whole order. Definitely would rethink before revisiting.

It's the worst place ever. I asked to be served by the till, and I was told they were busy! I was waiting 20min for a one meal. Not too many people inside.

Cold coffee no stirrers no hand wipes no salt

I went for short break to Southport and waiting to book into the camp and needing the loo we went into the first place nearest which KFC first time ever for me and got chicken and chip's but that was the first and the last time, very thin chip's that went cold quick and chicken was not very nice so I really don't see what young people see in it ?

Chicken was cold and missed 2 straws of order making it difficult to drink the drinks.

We had lovely food there but all of the orders came back wrong,lots of customers went back because of this.

It's KFC, food was hot and ready in good time. It was nice and clean.

Tables not cleaned and the floor is dirty and toilets are dirty as well, as for the food it seems to get worse my fries were over cooked as was the chicken, the burger just about made on the bun but the hash brown was hanging on the side, also the food wasn't very warm at all. And for some reason there is no table service even though it offers it on the screen when you order, and I don't understand why when your eating in they just throw it all in a box, it would save the company a lot of money if they put it all on a tray then there will be less waste. Recently I went to a new place called smacks and I can tell you now the service is much better clean Tables etc, the quality of the food is much better too, maybe you should send you staff there for training, I always like kfc but the quality and service is getting worse, its not just you its the same with McDonald's, neither you or McDonald's seem to care about quality and service and your customers, I do hope you will improve. Below you ask what dishes I recommend, unfortunately I can't recommend any, they are that bad

Service great, cleanliness great, food pretty good but gone very expensive since covid.

Very scruffy, a lot of rubbish lying around. Got our order wrong - not unusual for KFC I'm afraid.

So I don't usually go to fast food outlets but needed a quick grab to get home and watch the rugby...so why do they put your meal for 1 in a round tub then throw the tub emptying the food into a brown paper bag....brown paper bag fantastic...until the sweet corn you ordered gets the bag wet causing the bag to split open...don't worry I spotted it before I grabbed the bag so not spilling the food....is an orange fruit shoot a fresh orange..NO is the answer so why tell me it's fresh. So KFC isn't in my future..but Leigh Leopards won the cup so at least something went my way.

This is the WORST Kfc I have ever been to. 1 star is too much. We called in yesterday evening on the way home. The bins outside were overflowing and all over the carpark. When we went inside, it got worse. There was no paper in the ordering machine and as I had already paid we were committed to eating here. Empty food on almost all the tables and all over the floors, spilt drinks over the floors, bins full and overflowing, no condiments as all empty, womens toilets blocked and flooding and staff who didn't seem to care. It was so bad we ate our food outside in the car. We will NEVER come here again.

Dodgy stomach after being here. Went on 3rd August, place looked unclean, no serviettes available, asked staff member for some but had a gawmless response saying they had none. I had zinger burger and brother had bargain bucket. 2 days now with bad stomach and diarrhoea.

I've had loads of KFcs and been very happy....give this one a miss......

Absolutely discussed at this place. The restraunt is just thilthy and so are the staff they look like they could do with bath them selfs . Food was of course horrible the toilted looked as if it hadn't been flushed or cleaned in 6 months . Waited 5 minutes to be served when no one else what even in the building they two staff was looking back at each other to say you serve no you serve . Just stay away from this place!!

No hot drinks available. No serviettes available. Slow service. Dust and cobwebs hanging from the light fittings. 2nd and last visit to this outlet. The 1 star was for easy parking.

Staff an mangment here are shockingly bad .... orderd food through the drive through. they emptyed the chips to the bottom of a bag yeah like im eating them.... orderd a tower box meal an the burger had off lettice on and nothing else even tho im sure it ment to come with chicken fillet and a hash brown....the cleninles of this place is putrid .... i think the business manager needs to have a think about his career choices and also i think EHO should pay a visit ...... rancid place

Absolute joke of a resteraunt. Get a take away from the drive thru and they put everything in bag upside down. 3 times in a row now. Plus the large meals ask for a crushems and you get a kids drink as std. JOKE !!!!!

Terrible experience spent £33 as we had the grandchildren. Placed the order at checkout and they got it wrong replaced it but when I got home it was lukewarm and very salty so most of it went in the bin . Tried complaining by email as the never answer the phone still no reply after nearly 3 weeks

Absolute disaster staff didn't know what they were doing, product ran out !!! Didn't get what we ordered ..no one seemed to take charge ..other customers as fed up as us ..never again..pick somewhere that does food drink and service.

Terrible service !! Placed my order, got home and half missing. Called 3 - 4 times and no answer. Absolute waste of time and money. Will never go back again. Make sure you check your orders before driving off. I find it ridiculous someone can't read an order in front of them and place the items in the bag. Gang of lemons in there.

Great food when the order is right. Fairly slow service.

Ideal seaside location. Very busy on Saturday with families so some deterioration in service.

Very dirty place. Loads of staff chit-chat rather than keeping the place clean.
