Got a bargain bucket last Monday 15th April at 5.30 p.m we have had a many over the years but this was the first time for a while, not what we expected. Where was the spicy crisy crumb coating? It was more like soggy batter!!!!! Both my wife and I have been ill for amost a week with upset stomach and nausea which came on within a few hours after eating . Certainly have no plans to come back.

I've had bad experiences here before as they have long wait times in the drive through and have never got my order right. Not once! Tonight, they excelled themselves. After waiting 20 mins, they got every part of it wrong! I ordered a Zinger burger with no mayo. It came with mayo which I tried to scrape off, unsuccessfully. I asked for plain fries as I hate the seasoning they have started doing. Yep, it came with seasoning- though not as heavy as normal. It's like eating salt, & makes your mouth dry. And I ordered a Pepsi max, and got Pepsi max cherry, which I find sickly sweet. Never again.

Food absolutely disgusting, old inedible chicken. They forgot the sides. Had a drumstick about the size of a chicken wing. Absolutely awful stay away

Main complaint. No white meat available. We doubled checked before ordering that there was a selection of pieces available as we didn’t want all legs & thighs. They said that was fine. We checked the bucket before leaving. We got all legs and thighs. Once I pointed it out they took the bucket round the back, brought it back and said there you go. it was STILL all legs and thighs. we git a full refund. we had spent a total of over £75 BELIEVE all the poor reviews for this KFC. it is by far the worse around. run by minors !!! avoid

The most disgusting kfc I have ever eaten. We went through the drive through We spent about £30 and the whole order was cold. We were the only customer and watching through the window people just seemed to keep walking up to the fryer moving something then walking off no one acc seemed to cook anything? Then they came from a complete other side with out food about 15 minutes later? Half the chips were just scraps?? The gravy was separated so the bottom was lumpy and the top was like water??? Then checked the time it was meant to be thrown and it was at-least over an hour since us shouldn’t been thrown. FOOD HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE Customer service was awful, the young lad was so rude, when we asked for a fork for our beans he couldn’t have looked more annoyed if he tried. AVOID

Absolutely shocking service, plenty of staff behind the counter / kitchen and it wasn’t very busy, but somehow sat in the car park for 35 minutes, along with several other customers, for a chicken burger… which was bang average.

I’ve said before I won’t go in here again but it was empty when I went past and now I know why, ordered two meals £14.50 and it was horrible brown lukewarm chips the hot wings I paid for wasn’t in there every time they have something missing off the order but never forget to charge you for it, the coke was like tap water flat and horrible two pieces tiny chicken greasy nothing like the tv advertisements I definitely will never return to this place awful and there’s a reason it’s always empty save your money and stay away from this place 🤮🤮🤮rip off

Ordered dinner through the drive thru, they messed the order up. We went back through the drive thru to rectify due to having a baby in the car and it being difficult to get her in and out of the car. Was told we should’ve gone into the branch to rectify, refused to refresh food despite it having gone cold and told us they didn’t have any chicken left when they were still taking orders. Gave us missing items but weren’t cooperative at all, wound up eating cold chicken all to rectify the mistake they made. Will not be returning.

Last two times got home to find the first time chips missing, got home today to find no chips but two carton of rice waited ages to order. What shambles

Terrible. Place was really dirty food and rubbish all over the floor. Bins overflowing. Tables covered in food and were not clean. What i can presume a lack of staff meant a 30 min wait for food. Would not go back.

Not the first time I've had rubbish food from here but have been back thinking things might have changed !! no luck its still really poor I ordered the party bucket and ended up with a box of legs ?? Unless they are breeding mutant chickens we don't know about !!. I would expect only 4 as a maximum "Here are 7 steps for cutting a whole chicken into 8 pieces: 2 breast halves, 2 thighs, 2 drumsticks, and 2 wings !! its not hard is it, 14 pieces in a party bucket I would expect nearly 2 whole chickens !! it tasted of old oil (guessing cost cutting no quality control) The portions of fries were very hit and miss again no QC and the gravy was watery rubbish (nothing like depicted on the advertisements) which is just thrown into the bag haphazardly no care on a previous visit the lid come off and spilt all in the bag !! Try to complain to the restaurant direct not interested just the usual fob off apologies ... Would like the FSA to do a random visit as from what I've seen in the kitchen from the drive through I'm surprised they are still trading !!! Guessing they are all run by the same franchise who doesn't give a sh*t ! KFC as a brand should regulate these restaurants more strictly or take the franchise away

Ordered a 3 piece meal - got 3 drumsticks, tiny portion of chips - and the beans were crusty and half a boiled dry tub. No corn or Pepsi available Don't go there!

Was in sittingbourne and was going to have a quick McDonald's. However the KFC looked clean through windows, so decided to give it another try. The restraint was clean unlike before. The tables and floor were clean and the bins were not overflowing. Also the scanners were working to order your food. These are all massive improvements over my last few visits. We ordered the food and waited. The only thing missing to this point was the self serve numbers for the tables. Food was reasonably quick and when it arrived was hot and tasty. I just hope this is not to little to late but we'll done KFC

Worst kfc I’ve ever eaten. It was either overcooked and breaking my teeth or it was undercooked gooey and pink. Spent twenty quid on food I wouldn’t be paid 50 quid to eat.

In here now, been waiting 30 mins still no sign of food. Smells bad in here of old oil. Toilets are disgusting too, not cleaned and stinks. Do not recommend at all

Its hard to find anything positive to say re the KFC in sittingbourne. The place is disgusting witn no one cleaning up. All the bins were overflowing with people just throwing waste on the floor. People not clearing tables as nowhere to put rubbish. The floor was covered in food again no one clearing up. This place needs a manager that cares about their job. It is not hard to maintain a clean restaurant but none of the staff care or want to do it. So it ends up like a tip. Senior management need to visit and get this sorted ASAP. The way this restaurant is presented is a disgrace and reflects very badly on the brand. Really this should be 0 stars.

Eating in or getting a takeaway from this KFC is not to be recommended. When dealing with the staff it seems that all customers are an inconvenience and of absolutely no importance.

Went through the drive through, while waiting I could see the floor had bits of chicken fillet and other food items, I also witnessed one of the servers was filling up stray pop corn chicken off the counter instead of under the heat lamps. When arrive home we had a piece of chicken missing from our order. I did ring the store direct to complain but no one answered the phone. I will now be giving Sittingbourne KFC a miss.

Went there today,the chicken was dripping in grease and was awful, it’s obvious that it was warmed up from the night before and on top of that,they said that they had no soft drinks so swapped them out for two gravy that wasn’t even in the bag when I got home, was going to ring and complain but this is a few times this has happened, chucked it all in the bin and will never go back there. Tables not cleaned after customers, rubbish on the floor, no wipes given, food served not pleasant appearance, hope 2nd lockdown will give a chance for improvement, tables sticky and not cleaned! possibly covid spreading place! won't go again!

went to drive through today and ordered 3 meals for the family. when i got home there was 1 meal missing and the hot wings were burnt. tried to phone up to ask for my other meal but the phone has been temporarily cut off. this KFC must be the worst for food and service out of all the group. why don't they just shut it down as it is not the first time i have had reason to complain.

We decided to get food from the driv e-through today, The food was a massive improvement on the one we had back in Jan. That standard of the food particularly the chicken from this outlet has been over the past few weeks been of poor quality there seem to be more bone than chicken and the well established coating of the chicken has been almost uneatable so come on Sittingbourne get your act together.

Understaffed, long waits . No mayo in fillet burger ( they run out but failed to mention it.) wrong drinks!! Went to the drive thru last night, nobody waiting, hasd to wait for staff to appear and take the order(about 3 minutes). Asked for 2 large meals, one the had made a regular drink for. The staff were observed literly throwing the food into the takeaway boxes, the chicken and strips were found to have the outer coating/skin hanging off, the Chicken pieces tadted as though the spice mix had not been mixed properly, the fries were a complete mixture, some over cooked some under. Plus the coke clearly needed the syrup changing as it was flavourless. As I said probably the worst food I have ever had from a KFC, I'd rather go back to Macdonalds and they are not much better!

This is possibly the worst KFC I have ever had. Food was cold, not even a little warm. Desperately overcooked and mostly bone. Probably been sat there for a couple of hours. Staff were useless.

After waiting 20 minutes for our food when we were the only ones at the drive thru. We were served cold burnt chips, dry chicken and runny gravy. I cannot fault the food, but when we ordered out 8 pieces dipping boneless feast. We didn’t notice until we got home that they forgot all the sauces that go with it We would of returned back to the branch, but we don’t live as close, so the trip wasn’t worth it! Make sure you double check all order as they aren’t always correct!

Ordered a sharing bucket with gravy and coleslaw. The service was terrible, waited 35 minutes for it. When we got home the chicken was greasy and and looked disgusting. The chips and gravy were cold. The gravy was like water. Will never go back there again. Kfc differently need to check this franchise as it was absolutely disgusting food

I came for a Tuesday Treat , a bag of KFC for a £5.00, but the offer had finished.... The equivalent cost including the Chips £14.99 , Three times more than I was expecting, I will probably return but only when they have an offer on.....

The only reason I gave one star is because it won't accept no stars. I went into KFC Sittingbourne last night after work as I thought it would be a treat. It was 830pm and there was 3 other people in there. They had ordered and were sitting down waiting for their food looking totally fed up. I ordered 2 piece chicken with fries and a gravy. I waited for 14 minutes !! It was mental. 2 pieces chicken! The staff were talking to each other. I would have walked if I hadn't already paid. When it finally came the guy serving threw it down onto counter without a word. I said really loud "thanks very much" he then said. Oh sorry for the wait ! As I went out the door they were laughing. They are totally disgusting in there. I've been into lots of KFC's and this one is without doubt the worse. The staff their wouldn't last 5 minutes in USA where they know something about fast food service and customer service. If these are the only staff they can get they are really in trouble. I'll never go in there again that's for sure.

We stopped in for a takeaway on our way back from a hospital appointment, the service was quick and the customer service was ok, we took our food home where myself,my wife and my 17 year old daughter and 3.5 year old son started to enjoy our meal.... that is where the good parts of this experience ends, after my son (3.5 yrs old) and my wife had eaten the popcorn chicken they were sharing, my wife was shocked and disgusted to find 2 mouse droppings in the bottom of the cardboard container, this of course caused us all to stop eating and my wife struggling not to throw up, we immediately tried phoning the store but after 25 minutes of no one answering my wife took the decision to go back to the resturaunt to complain. Upon speaking to the female manager, my wife showed her the container with the droppings still inside the managers reaction was to basically infer that my wife was lying and that the droppings could not have come from there as they do not have a rodent problem, her final word was that we would have to email customer services as she was not willing to deal with it as she did not believe her.I do not expect a comment or a reply from KFC management as it seems very clear the type of people that they employ to manage their restaurants but this will be the last time that we or any of our family will be using this resturaunt and I would encourage anyone reading this review to give this place a miss.

Just popped in from a day out had been updated drive thru busy so went in to order and take home was really busy inside and out staff worked hard and could not cook the food quick enough well done to them.

Poor value for money now. Very small portions, tiny piece of chicken. Asked for zinger but got plain. Was told they don’t do large fries anymore, you have to order two small portions, rip off. Won’t be returning

Drive Thru or at the counter it always seems a problem here, we never get what we have ordered to the point as we get them to read it out and then open the bag.

Expect to age a decade while waiting for your order, which will be wrong when received. Probably a result of memory loss due to the time it takes. The staff are the slowest, least enthused employees i have ever come across

Fuimos a conducir a través de después de un largo viaje de nuestras vacaciones. Llevaba comida directamente, a unos 5 minutos, sirve inmediatamente. Las patatas fritas eran frías, y literalmente, tenía la textura del cartón, totalmente comestible. Sólo 2 servilletas suministrado para satisfacer las 3 comidas que pedimos. No es bueno.

This must rate as one of the poorest KFC restaurants!Four of us arrived this evening around 7.30pm, the restaurant was cold with a number of people eating in their coats; hence we looked for a table away from drafts.The table we selected was dirty, food and paper left not only on the table but also under - indeed this was replicated throughout.I had to ask for the area to be cleaned, which to the young mans credit he happily did (but only this area). We ordered a bucket meal plus one other meal.The food was hot and to usual KFC standards but sadly was 'trayed' up minus salt or hand wipes - I make this point because I thought this was standard?We ordered two hot drinks with our meal, for which we subsequently received a cash refund (despite initially paying by card) due to the machine malfunctioning. Given there were enough staff within the food prep area, the front of house was lacking - maybe it was warmer back there?Sadly and despite our liking of KFC this restaurant is often like it was tonight so our expectations were not high; the hierarchy should spend some time here and in my opinion change the leadership team as they evidently are unable to organise the basics!The issues in this restaurant are certainly due to a lack of leadership and operational management of staff; why else would the staff do what they do and the place be in the state it is?The restaurant is in a great location, where competition from other food outlets must count; KFC must improve.Sorry to say, unimpressed!

After 20 years of trying to persuade my wife that KFC was not all bad recently tried the Tuesday bargain bucket! Big mistake pretty horrible 6 legs and 3 thighs all over or under cooked. My wife did complain about the overall quality,and to their credit,they gave us a free replacement meal the following week,which was much much better

The restaurant was clean and the food was fresh with minimum waiting time so pleased with the visit we went for an early lunch so we was the first at the counter so it's difficult to comment on how they cope during busy times

This kfc always forgets something. We often use this KFC via the drive through, you can guarantee there will be something missing in your order I am now fed up with calling them about it as nothing changes.

Came hear with the family after a long day in london when i ordered my food i had to give them my name as last time they forgot some of my meal and said i could collect it next time. When we got home they had forgotten more of my meal. When i spoke with them they simply said they would put my name in the book again. This is disgraceful and totally unacceptable customer service. When i order my food i expect to get it not to keep going back. Maybe you should train on getting it right the first time i can assure you i won't be going back.

We had a visit to this Off and found it pretty much the same as all the others. The service was however a little slow as the Crew appeared to be more intrested in the Drive Through so on this they really do need to look at this.

Filthy restaurant, cold food, what more could you ask for. Nearly as bad as the Sheerness KFC. To make matters worse my wife was ill all night following our visit.

I have eaten at a few KFC's and this one didn't leave a very good impression. Firstly I had to wait ages for my food, I used the drive through and I had to wait in the parking bay for my food for about 10 minutes. The person who served me was friendly and cheerful though. When I finally received my food it was tasteless and gave the impression it had been sat around for a while. I understand that KFC is not a luxury option but compared to other KFC's I have had this one was poor. If in the area again and looking for something quick and convenient to eat I wouldn't choose to eat here again.

Used the drive through service just after the new year and they got our order completely wrong. The man taking our order kept talking to some on else at the same time as taking our order. They then overcharged us and in addition didn't give us everything we ordered. Wouldn't use again.

Well I have to say this was the worst visit i have ever had at a fast food chain. Ordered chicken to be told we would have to wait 7 minuets for an item so we politely asked if they could make sure the rest of the food could be hot as we were taking it away. The young man serving us didn't really understand but instead of saying it would be fine he threw his tongs down on the side and what can only be described worst customer service, that was until we waited 15 minuets and still no sign of food. We then asked for a refund as we would go else where. We were then greeted by a manager with even worse customer service. No apology , no reason for the wait and when asking for a receipt it was just thrown on the counter .

BBQ wrap was burnt in areas making the overall taste disgusting! The wrap was torn so half the co gains were in the packet. The wrap contain manky lettuce and chicken which had been cooked and store for hours.The big daddy meal was like chucking money down the drain. Cold chips, some stale. Chicken again cooked hours hours before I got it making it nasty to eat, it was dry and the ends were chewy like gum. The burger has a tiny piece of bacon in it and that mainly consisted of fat. The burger was rushed and didn't look like the picture. The sauce was limited. The piece of chicken they out in my box was pointless, two bites and blam it was done, even that piece of chicken was dry and disgusting, a lot of it went in the bin as I couldn't stomach it. The drunk had ice in, although the drink was chilled, I didn't ask for ice... The girls who serve you are un-customer focused. The beans were hot yet half of them hard, I've never had hard beans before. This place is crap! Makes disgusting food and hires staff who do this.My money just like yours is worth something decent, never again will I order from this chain. There are better places around!

We have just been into the KFC, Sittingbourne. We have not had KFC for quite some time so we're looking forward to our meal. The place was virtually empty, and although the staff were pleasant, the whole place was filthy. We struggled to find a clean table and chairs, and the floor was dirty with food that had been dropped on it previously. There were two other customers one of which used the toilets, and I overheard her telling her friend they were also filthy. There were plenty of staff there so how can this happen

Was running round doing lots of errands and decided to stop here based purely on convenience of location and I should have known better based on past experience Yet again massive queue of customers and only 2 people serving on till with one lady dressed in black uniform barking orders rudely at the poor till staff (is it any wonder they were struggling?!)Total of 25 mins between walking in and taking my food outAs usual there were lots of dirty tables needing cleared and no staff to do itOverall this place needs better staff training and management as it is impossible for it to be anything else letting the place down seeing as every other KFC seems to run successfully

This isn't a good one for me I'm afraid.The service is pretty slow, and could be improved. Fast food it isn't really.The tables are normally really dirty. They need a good clean, but clearly this doesn't happen often enough.The food is ok, and that's the saving grace!

KFC has always been one of my favourite places to grab something quick. I've always like what they put into their ingredients to make their recipes taste outstanding plus give them credit for their various choices on the menu. In most KFC restaurants the service has been good and the service is quick.Sadly there is one branch that always has let me down on a constant basis and that is the Sittingbourne branch. In my situation the nearest KFC to my home is this one as the next one is about 20 miles away.Almost every time I've pulled up here something is not available luckily most of the time something I don't want but still is far from acceptable. However recently was a different matter. I gone in to order 2 Mighty Buckets For One which consists of 2 chicken pieces, 2 chicken strips and 2 hot wings plus drinks and chips. When I got to the counter (at 5pm) to place my order, I was told that there were no chicken hot wings stock...I'm sorry but how does a branch like that cock up so badly on its stock...it's one of their main recipes and doesn't the C in KFC stand for chicken?!? Surely there is someone there to check stock before hand, if there was they didn't do a great job. So as they run out they give me a choice between 2 other forms of chicken. In honesty I didn't like the choices and instead ask just add an extra chicken piece to each bucket. To me that would seem reasonably fair as they cocked up and it wasn't like I was asking for a 12 piece bucket. But they refused to add another piece despite their failing and said I had to chose between those 2 options. If hadn't been the fact that my family wanted KFC, I would have walked out instantly as I can't stand places that fail the customer.In other previous weeks and months my Dad has always liked their large BBQ beans and almost 80% of the time they have forgotten to put it in the bag. As a result we no longer buy the BBQ beans there and instead buy a can from the supermarket because we will know that we have actually got it.The reason that this is not a 1 is because there are some good staff and they deliver a good service and the food is of course good but in general everything needs to be better.If this branch is unsure or sure they have stock of food, check and then get someone else to check again. Did you put everything in the bag? Is everything ready? If not why and how to resolve it / speed it up? All these simple things make a huge difference and if they did that they would get less negative complaints.It's a shame to give this branch a 2 as I really do like the food from KFC but the service and preparation has also got to be top notch regardless. Hopefully when I next go back in, which I will as its my local, there will be an improvement and then maybe I'll write a new review and one that ideally is more positive.

Visited here recently to be told, after queuing for over 15 minutes (one person serving) that they actually had no chicken for over an hour.... Staff were not too helpful, was a waste of time.Probably would not go back.

Food is good, chicken is cooked and the staff are more friendly that the ones at McDonald's. The restaurant is a good size and the queues weren't long x

I ordered a meal box through the drive through (big daddy meal) I got given my drink and then a bag which I looked in and saw the correct box. Got home opened it up and the chicken was missing! To go back costs me money so that wasn't an optionAll I can say is that this isn't the first time they have forgot something at Sittingbourne KFC in terms of food for an order. Third time this year (2015). I now refuse to go back to that one.Check your order fully before driving away - even open the box to check everything is in there.The food I did receive was okay but not great and the beans were not bbq as the lady told me they were, the beans were also hard and not soft like they should be.Staff I dealt with need a customer training course.

Ordered 3 burrito meals today.. Stone cold fries and burritos!!! Won't be going here again.. Expensive rubbish!!!

Went to KFC last week for a take away. Had to wait 20 mins to be served (it wasn't that busy) as they only had one person on the till, 2 on the drive through (which was empty a lot of the time) and lots of people milling around the back looking as if they were cooking. The food was typical KFC which i do love. However the staff forgot to put in my side order and a portion of fries. I discovered this when I got home but it is a 15 minutes drive back to the outlet (30mins at least round trip) and couldn't justify the fuel cost.The actual restaurant is clean and plenty of seats so no complaints there just the poor service.
