Never ever have they got my order right - always something you have paid for missing! It’s so, so frustrating.

As a long time KFC fan I've had some poor meals over the years,.however the meal we got yesterday evening was by far the worst. The chips were just about warm, however the chicken was nothing like nor as tasty, it was lacking a secret herb or two, extremely dry eating, The gravy was like thick mud fortunately the coleslaw was fine. Most of the meal was thrown away mine and my wife's, we had a six piece sharing bucket. I was actually sick afterwards.Its a shame as the lad that served me was top notch, but the product let him down.

5 star worker I just went in and was served great food and was served well by a young gentleman named Tom I believe. He had manners and was a great help in recommendations and quick with service.

Great service by Maju!! Although I was disappointed that no drive thru was available Maju instantly took my order and I was on my way as quickly! Great experience!

Ordered on the KFC app. No drinks or dips came with the order. This is the second time the whole order did not arrive. I asked the driver at the time and he checked his bag and nothing. Then he left. I called the restaurant. They stated that the drinks were there at KFC and I should ask the driver to come back. I said he left. They said there is nothing they can do. So I didn't get my full order, no compensation or resolution was offered. And that was that. Second time this had happened.

Walked in expecting a good meal, but I got so much more! The food was incredible, and the atmosphere was just right. But the real star? Rahul! His friendly nature and great service made the experience unforgettable. Will definitely be coming back!

Lovely every time. Gave me a free rice box as they gave me an original when I asked for a zinger. Thanks again xx

Rude staff ignored us and put pepper on chips. Didn't ask us if we were allergic to it. Got diarrhea from there. Won't be going back. Very bad indeed

Went in to have lunch. No customers in the restaurant or waiting for food. Couldn't see what we wanted on self service so went to the counter to order Three members of staff were chatting behind the counter. Did not even acknowledge our presence despite making eye contact. Left and had lunch elsewhere. Unlikely to revisit this outlet again.

This has to be the most useless takeaway I've ever been to. Placed an order through just eat and they would not give the order to the delivery driver. I could not contact them as they can't answer a phone. The delivery time went up and up and up then after an hour they cancelled my order. I really like kfc but I will be ordering from this restaurant ever again

Chicken was dry, very dry! It's like eating dry crackers, cardboard, sand. There was no skin on the chicken. It was so dry that even the coating fell off, probably in an attempt to disassociate with its KFC branding. Chips were anaemic and hard in the middle, and the chicken burger was dry. I'm glad I had a coke, as needed to help swallow the food that had already soaked up what little saliva I had. Service was ace, lovely staff. It's just terribly dry food.

Waited 20 minutes to try and get served, slowly realised whilst waiting, even if I was successful in being served and getting my order in, I would’ve been probably waiting even longer for any food to be made judging by the number of people waiting for their orders to be made, so ended up leaving empty handed. Maybe it was busy, maybe it was short staffed today, but an acknowledgment to customers that the store is running behind would’ve gone a long way.

Missing both portions of chips missing the rice and some of the extra chicken. Paid for delivery and had to drive to get the missing stuff didn't get refunded the delivery fee. Everytime you order for delivery the order is wrong. The chicken wasn't edible on the fillet burger it was rock hard and dry like it had been there days. Seriously need to get get staff who can do the job and speak and read English then maybe order wouldn't be totally wrong. Most expensive fast food place and it's the worst by a mile

Whenever I visit I want to jump behind the counter and get the staff organised. They are very slow to process orders, seem to have little direction and 90% of the time, the order will be missing something. I come here once a week, but starting to think I will give up. They really need some experienced staff to make it work or a way of stopping taking orders while they catch up with backlogs. Edit: the restaurant has improved over the last few months. We are still usually missing an item, usually gravy, but the food is good and there's some new staff who are organised!

Was a little disappointed at getting all drumsticks for every bit of chicken ( we had 6 total) saw someone else go up and complain about the same thing. Also they should not display our foods ready and it’s clearly not we have to wait longer. Chicken was average.

We’ve been waiting for 2 hours and they never gave any impression that there was an issue, it’s now been cancelled!!

Have visited this outlet off and on over the past 6 months, and it’s been average so say the least. However yesterday I was disappointed with the service and the blasé attitude of the staff and whoever was the manager seemed to lack any form of control. We ordered on the menu screens and after paying, our number order appeared on the screen. After a few minutes, our number appeared on the ready screen. That’s when the fun started. Chips were put on the tray, but both meals were not even ready. The young lassie kept asking for the missing items, to no avail. I questioned the chips will be getting cold. They were on a tray on a heated rail, but eventually they got binned. Still no sign of main meals. Then announced a hash brown not ready and would take a further 90 seconds to be ready! So here we are over 5 minutes since our meal allegedly ready. Meanwhile rather than busying themselves with the service, the cooking staff were more interested in enjoying the banter going on. I would have thought a manager should allow a certain flexibility, but this image can be abused, which affects customer service. I wonder if they were busier, would this chaos continue. We have been in other outlets, where customer service has been 5 star. I wonder how Colonel Sanders would feel if he saw how his creation, was being tarnished by this outlet in Macclesfield? We will not be returning!

This is the worst KFC I have experienced. Food luke warm, despite delivery being quick. Half the order missing, and then when you try to call them they don't answer phone. Useless place, whoever is managing should be assessed and trained properly. Absolutely will not buy there again. Previous two visits were just as bad.

Quicke service and I always enjoy a KFC.

Drumsticks did not taste right,chips bland.Self ordering machines?got the third one to work.Not a fast food place anymore,not quite as bad as McDonald's.Price shocking,£2 more than our local one.

Upping to 4 stars as there have been improvements recently and now everything is generally as you would expect (old review below). [Still getting up and running. Food is as you would expect when it comes but it is clear there are some teething problems. Suggest only going if you have plenty of time and you don’t mind the odd mistake with your order. Hoping things improve in the coming months.]

Unlike McDonald's KFC actually serves your food hot. Fantastic is all I have to say. Good job guys at KFC

Needed somewhere for a rest break and this was open. It was great (safe and clean) for a much needed bite to eat.

I don't like food from KFC, because a lot of it is dry. Considering that it is the only restaurant in the city, I consider it normal to wait 10-20 minutes, in McDonald's it can take from 40 minutes quietly. Clean enough, even in the toilet. Nice staff, friendly and cheerful.

Easy to use payment screens, orders cooked within minutes, the staff are friendly.

Family of 5. Very clean, really helpful happy staff, food hot and ready extremely quickly. Ideal when the kids are hungry after an afternoon in the park.

It's very slow and they also miss loads of the order.

Food was excellent, but music was far too loud. Staff have to yell order numbers over the music. Why not turn it off altogether and encourage people to chat ? Don't spend that money on a PRS music license, hand it out to your staff as a small bonus instead.

I had to wait for 30 minutes in the morning to get a food. When the boy in front store asked the people behind the store, they were really rude, also there is a masculine guy who wears a grey shirt, he doesn't bother about customers, he was going outside all the time. I ordered a zinger burger but it was so cold. That's a bummer!!

I prefer KFC for quick take away but it's ridiculous taking too much time to prepare orders👎. The front team members looks helpless to serve effortlessly. The service is poor 👎

Ordered delivery at 5.30pm , arrived 2 hours later with dips missing from a dipping bucket and 2 large sides that must have been lost in transit ! The Colonels famous secret recipe must have been that secret that they forgot to cook it to the recipe, lovely if you like it cold and soggy , fries were not fries as some sort of heat induction device should have been introduced as part of the process leaving them colder than a polar bears paws , the orange tango was nice though !

Not really sure why the review are so low… genuinely one of the best KFC’s I’ve ever been… only a few mistakes in the past year I’ve eaten there. Only thing it lacks is a drive thru.

Cleaning the place and blocking off access to tables at 8:30pm. Walked in and walked back out. Sort yourselves out.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Waited 90 mins for my order and the food was still not even prepared, blaming someone else is frankly just passing the buck, absolutely hopeless service. Ended up cancelling the order as they could not even tell me if the order would even be delivered. Complete garbage service, order elsewhere total lack of communication and only found out by phoning them. At this point too late to order elsewhere, thanks KFC you are useless

Edit: amending from three to four stars as it’s been much better the last couple of times we’ve been :) I love a good KFC, and am very glad we have one in Macclesfield now. However, this one is very small, and when the queues inevitably get very long, they’re queueing right next to you as you eat, which is quite off-putting. Our first order was made fairly quickly, but with the second order (to takeaway for someone else), I waited for 15 minutes before enquiring, only to learn they hadn’t noticed the order. Food was all great though, once it arrived! Hopefully it was just some teething problems as it has just recently opened, as I hope to enjoy it here in the future!

I ordered a BBQ wrap at KFC Macclesfield to take away and got a mini wrap that's half the size and still full price.

After a rocky start this joint is finding its feet . Last two visits have been kfc at its best . Highly recommend!

Slow service and staff that didn't really want to speak, but food was fine.

On 2 occasions I ordered the 6 piece bargain bucket and on both occasions they contained 4 drumsticks and 2 other pieces even smaller than drumsticks, the food was tasteless, so needless to say I will never order from there again.

Avoid Avoid Avoid Very slow and disorganised service and that was at 7:30pm, I would hate to see it at 5pm even worse, when I got home, 2 lots of fry’s whee missing and 4.bits of chicken, it doesn’t get any worse Got to the one at hazel grove!

KFC has gone hellishly expensive. Portion sizes have shrunk as well. The chicken portion I had as an extra looked like it came off a pigeon. Gravy was like water. Not much dearer for a Nandos. Goodbye KFC.

Ordered 2 piece and 3 piece meal tasted ok but one lot of chips / Fry's had about 6 chips probably about quarter of what it should of been in the bag . I had take out so did not know until I got home and it's to much hassle for a bag of chips. Service was slow only person who looked like she knew what she was doing was a lady called Sam 😊so thank you Sam . Atmosphere a part from everyone moaning how long it was taken to get food. Seemed a bit dark inside more lighting

Horrific. Avoid at all costs. Dirty, the worst service I have ever encountered and ridiculously slow. Walked out and went somewhere else, staff didn't bat an eyelid.

Staff are friendly and help the best they can, food is hit and miss, sometimes great sometimes cold and overly salty. Would swerve when busy.

Zinger delicious! Mrs Zinger was massive, mine was small... no uniformity. All should be similar size, that's why 4 star and not 5. Had to order another which was far better.

Khyer the employee who served me was funny, really nice and sorted me out a fab dinner for me and the family. It's always good when employees have a laugh with you and go the extra mile. This lad was no exception. 👍 Just like to add they should absolutely change or cap kfc delivery in macc. The wait times sometimes go upto 30 mins because the delivery drivers take 4 orders at once using 4 different phones. In big cities it works as their are many other branches of kfc to compensate but in macc it doesn't same with McDonald's. They need to cap the ordering times or remove them completely. Customer loyalty will gain more profit than deliveroo

All the staff were very focused and we did not wait long considering it was lunchtime when we came. The food was fresh and very tasty! I think it was the best KFC branch that we"ve been. Keep it up guys!
