We bought a gravy dipping bucket. Wings was over cooked and dry, Did not give us any serviettes or spoon to eat mash and gravy with. Waited for 10 mins in drive thru for staff to do a shift change. 😫

Missed a whole meal in the order and then didn’t answer phone or respond, waste of a lot of money

We have ordered food and requested for table service , in-spite of waiting for more than 10 minutes when we enquired they told our order was been taken away by someone accidentally and need to wait for again for 15 minutes. After 15 mins staff came and saw we have not received the order.They did not apologise even as it was error from their service.Very poor communication and service.Manager on shift was not polite in behaviour when we asked for refund and asked us to leave the store when we asked almost waited for 45 mins , they did not even have our bills and were asking us to tell our order.Finally refunded after long wait.Does not recommend this service.

Decided to go Ipswich for the first time to spend a day. We went here on Thursday. As soon we arrived we were told that there is a 20 mins wait time for chicken. As we didn’t have nothing to do we wait whereas many people walked out the establishment with disappointment. My partner ask the lady if he can have specific chicken. she told him that she will try and that she do not know what chicken they are frying. (Like I never seen any KFC only fry drumsticks, like they are frying are whole chicken minimum with wall pieces, she took us for fools??).. Let’s just say in London you can ask them for what ever chicken and they will actually TRY to give you what you want. This is Ipswich it was NOT busy, compare to some kfcs in London when the queue is literally OUTSIDE the door. The lady didn’t try, she didn’t speak to anyone. She just stood there for 20 mins wasting time…At this point we had nothing to loose, we basically on a mid week holiday, so we give her the benefit of the doubt. there is 20 mins in the o’clock to wait for the chicken, so maybe she gonna tell them once the chicken is done. Chicken done, as you excepted, we didn’t got what we wanted, the guy was like we told you we will try. Well you didn’t TRY sir I was watching everything unfold, so we asked for a refund. We was just going to spend our funds else where. as soon as we asked for the refund he went to the back and all of a sudden they found pieces we wanted .. wow… Other issues.. The gravy in mega box was missing, the garlic mayo paid for was missing. The fries were incorrect in the mighty bucket we ordered large. They poured the drink 20 mins in advance so it was hot and flat at this point. The meal was not done properly and the lady that we spoke to and put it together, she knew it was going to be a problem because she lied and literally RAN to the back and HIDE. She waited for her coworker to sort her issues with our meal before coming back to the front. H O R R I B L E S E R V I C E!!! Didn’t enjoy the meal. Still want back my money. We should of went somewhere else.

Over 20 mins wait for food, not even that busy.

Ordered dinner for me and my partner, it turned up an hour later stone cold, and was someone else's order entirely! Don't bother wasting your time or money here.

food was brilliant however my experience was ruined by some of the staff, one of the women at the front counter was standing around holding a baby and talking with a group of people while customers were waiting to be served and while serving was still shouting and talking to the group of people with the baby, however despite this, Danny was amazing he was polite, quick with service and clearly very passionate about the customer experience he also managed to stay professional and focused while taking on the job of 2 people! I cannot praise this worker enough for his hard work!

The best KFC in the country surely. Izzy who works there was so friendly and helpful with our order, it really felt like a restaurant with that service and not just a takeaway...thank you Izzy.

Unless you're use to using the touch screen ordering system and are VERY familiar with the current menu options, there is no longer any "personal" service as such. The food is much as expected. Whether the speed of service is improved by all this automation, I have my doubts, as usually this level of "do it yourself" means staff cutbacks. But then KFC is all about the chicken.

Went through the drive through on a Tuesday evening with my daughter and her friend. Ordered a popcorn chicken meal with a crushem and a boneless meal with pepsi. We got told to park up so they could bring out our food, which we did. In the 20 minutes we waited in our car 3 other drive through customers came through . Finally after 20 minutes of waiting I had to knock on the drive through window to ask where my food was. They handed it to me , it was ready but seemed to be waiting until it was worth the while of them being this out to us with other orders . Our meal was tasty but just warm . Would not recommend drive through, perhaps park up and go in. Just hope I don't get a parking ticket !

Staff are taking items out of customers orders I’m assuming for personal consumption. Pieces of chicken are missing every time I come here to the point I’m going through every bit of food to make sure it’s right and every time there’s bits of food missing. I don’t order delivery anymore because of this & it still happens everytime I go in person. Management needs to sort these teenagers staff members out. They’re taking the mick.

I arrived at 1330 on a horribly wet and miserable January day, expecting to find the place to myself. But the restaurant was absolutely packed, with loads of folk waiting for their meal, plus a horde of delivery drivers awaiting pre-ordered food. So I bagged one of the very few vacant tables and, rather than stand to use the kiosks, sat down and ordered on the app on my phone. Quite odd, in a way. By the time I had decided what to have, the crowds had cleared and, once I pressed the button, the meal was with me in a matter of moments. Sadly, the fries were, at best, lukewarm, and were replaced with freshly cooked, piping-hot, ones which were actually really nice. However, one has to think how can it be that chips are not just out of the frier when the place has been packed to the rafters only a few minutes before? The chicken was really, really tasty, very succulent with that famous coating that you can never quite recreate at home. They can't make coffee for toffee, though. My filtered version, part of my £9.99 meal-for-one as an alternative to fizzy pop, was horribly weak and most of it had to go in the bin. Toilets badly need a refurb. and a deep clean wouldn't go amiss. In the gents, a bit of plumbing at both taps wouldn't break the bank. As the senior team were busy discussing last year 'peaking at 3.6', I had to assume they were talking about turnover? Or maybe profit? If so, plenty of pennies to spend on a bit of updating. During the busy time, the disposal area had become an absolute train-wreck, but that was quickly sorted once staff were less busy serving and cooking. All in all, a decent meal for just under a tenner.

DISGUSTING!!! Ordered via just eat driver was lovely (that’s why I’ve given 5* service) the food arrived and it was raw. Tried to call the branch over 8 times and no answer. So tried to speak via just eat to receive a full refund as I refuse to eat anything else of the meal. Only able to offer me credit. I’ve lodge a complaint with kfc itself. Disgusting don’t eat here!!! Unless you want pink chicken.

Cannot fault the service - the place is understaffed and overworked considering the location, and it was a match day at the nearby stadium. The food though... Most sides had sold out, all cookies had, and food was being served undercooked meaning most of my group were very ill that night after eating there.

This should have been a twister wrap meal with 2 bits of chicken in , these cowboys put one in and cut it in half, never in my life have I seen anything like it utter disgrace . Football was on so either they was running low or someone was hungry . The utter cheek of it…. Bunch of muppets

Workers were running around like headless chickens. Too busy focusing on delivery drivers to care about the customers in the store. The area behind the counter was filthy, food being thrown all over the floor and the staff not caring. Slow service. Drinks were poured long before food was ready so they were flat and the ice had melted diluting the drink. Touching their face and then touching prepared food with their bare hands. Chips had been sitting there for a while so were cold and stale.

Slow service... Staff just chatting to each other and dinning area plus toilets are absolutely filthy. However food is good.

The restaurant is very dirty, unclean tables and food, empty sauce packets, napkins etc on the floor, over full bin and nobody seems responsible for regularly going around to clean. There is a constant stream of food delivery drivers coming in to collect orders as well as drive thru and walk ins and the staff do not appear to be able to keep up with it, so food service isn’t as fast as expected. Basics such as straws for drinks were missed, my burger didn’t have lettuce in and our ‘box meals’ were not in boxes just muddled and piled up on a tray. The chicken was very greasy so the coating wasn’t crispy, just soggy. The ladies toilet was filthy and the toilet paper dispenser is designed to take the flat leaf sheets that pull out at the bottom but someone has filled it with ordinary toilet rolls and it’s impossible to get any out. The result of this was lots of little pieces of shredded toilet paper all over the floor. Aside from this it was just generally unclean looking and clearly not being checked and cleaned regularly. I won’t be eating here again, there is no excuse for this lack of cleanliness and hygiene, there should be a separate member of staff responsible for this to the staff working in the kitchen.

Service is rubbish tbh. Been here a few times before the cinema, they always seem to be out of something on the menu I want. Purchased tea here and they had no tea cups so they used large cola cups with 1 tea bag. Don't think anyone here has a Scooby. Stick to McDonald's if you need something fast pre film. Food is warm rather than hot, no excuse when you have zero customers

Constantly order and they wait until they're closed then cancel the order. The I can't order from somewhere else. If you can't provide me with the service you advertise don't pretend you can then cancel it. Let me go somewhere that can rather than let me wait for an hour.

Restaurant is filthy, tables have rubbish and food left all over them. The staff are unhelpful, they gave me the wrong item, I went to bite into it, noticed it was wrong and returned it to the till, the woman serving put it back under the hot counter for another customer to eat and handed me the correct item! The toilets are horrendous, the whole place is just absolutely rotten.

Really poor. Every time we come here there is at least a 30 minute wait for food from the drive thru - it’s ridiculous. Every other KFC in Ipswich manages to get you food straight away so I can only imagine the management here are just clueless. Save your time and go to another KFC.

Order notes entered during delivery are completely ignored. If you ask for leg piece chicken you will get breast piece instead. This happened several times now. Not happy with the service.

The restaurant seems clean enough. However the toilets, the smell burnt my nose. I still ate here but they need to do something with those toilets.

Order wrong twice, cold, watery gravy

Missing food from order, the most important part; The burger! Told by uber driver to phone restaurant to sort out issue. Nobody answers the phone! Absolutely useless. How do you forget a bloody burger, it's the main part of the meal.

We got there around 13:30 on Bank Holiday Monday and we were the only people in the restaurant. Seemed a bit odd for a fast food joint at lunch. The food wasn't great, the chips were cold. We ordered oreo milk shakes for the kids only to be told when they were getting out food ready, that the flavour they selected was not available and hadn't been updated on the kiosk machine. While eating out food they put more chips on a stand, ready to be served to customers but they sat there for at least 5 minutes so must have been cold by the time they were given to anyone. The toilet wasn't very nice and had a hand dryer on the wall so low I had to bend down to use the poxy thing. Just seemed like sloppy management.

Ideally situated on Cardinal Park catching the football footfall. Staff are helpful when or if you require help. The ordering screens are efficient and quick. Expect a little wait if ordering on a match day.

One of the worst KFC restaurants, food was okay, service was extremely poor there's always a long wait for food as most of the young adults you employ would rather be messing around than doing there job efficiently. I've never visited this branch and found it to be clean, the tables always need a wipe and there's often food all over the floor. The store should have to be closed restaurant workers very rude that don’t have any behavior to talk with Customer and also they don’t care about the delivery drivers waiting. They are more than 30 minutes one hour and they don’t care the keep playing around and don’t want to give order keep chatting together, but don’t care about the customer if someone ask the show the bad face like the one to eat. I have just ordered through UberEats. You can see the address is in a hotel. How can you send a fizzy drink that is not refrigerated? It's utterly useless. No one will be able to drink it. Bought chicken pieces in few KFCs recently, very tiny pieces, almost the size of chicken wings; individual shops are better.

Ordered two boneless banquets - first of all the driver was waiting for a good 45 minutes and when it arrived, one was missing fries and one was missing the requested gravy. Don't bother ordering from KFC cardinal park, when we've got drive thru it's not been any better.

Very poor customer service at the drive through the employee on the orders could not hear properly, and I ended up having to raise my voice, food was cold and chucked together, £18.90 for a meal is a joke.

Always getting orders wrong or always missing something

I couldn’t fault the food. But my god the hygiene of the toilets was absolutely appalling. It was disgusting in there. I first went to the ladies toilet with my child. In there, was urine on the floor and seat and the bins were overflowing. Just generally filthy and unsanitary. Was no toilet roll either so we then went over to the disabled toilets but it was the same situation in there aswell with it being filthy, no toilet roll and the bin was overflowing with soiled nappies etc. so ended up just leaving without using the toilets. And had to find some elsewhere. Honestly was a health and safety hazard in the ipswich kfc toilets.

just ordered to eat something in the morning. Got 2 burgers and 8 fillets!! EVERY SINGLE ITEMS ARE SALTY & no flavour of kfc,Couldn't eat and then celled the store!! They literally said i cannot hear you properly, so I called back couple more times!! What a Shame to a brand like this! not even worth a one Star review.

The owner needs to lose the franchise, absolutely shockingly bad. Chicken was full of dirty oil and had been recooked at least 3 times. This branch of KFC gives all other outlets a terrible name. Avoid at all costs

Luke warm chips and soggy chicken

Ordered a small bucket for 1 and went large. The fries are disappointing 😞 I asked for two chicken keels/breasts which I didn't get after asking the server and told yes. For £10 the food on the whole was not good, chicken strips were okay and the spicy wings were average. On the whole dissatisfied. I will stick with Nacton Chicken as its tastes better and the Peri Peri wings are much better than KFC. Seven up was nice.

Check your items on delivery and pickup. Payed for a few items at drivethrough, was missing about half of them. Then you try and call and they literally just don't pick up the phone.

Can hardly drive your car through a drive through. Silly bollards put up and with today's cars it's very hard to drive around. They need removing.

Absolutely awful, cold chips, took ages to get fresh ones, Pepsi max didn’t taste like it should, no sweet chilly sauce in my rap, attitude of staff awful and no management in sight, absolutely the worst kfc I’ve ever had, I won’t be going there again.

Just been through the drive thru, I told the server it was my birthday today and he wished me a pleasant happy birthday. Also the cook came from the back and also said happy birthday. And then I had a lovely happy birthday message left on my receipt. It’s simple little things like this that go a long way and it was super appreciated. Thank you to the kind staff and team.

Order never arrived. Called the restaurant 50 times just doesn’t even answer

Just went through the drive thru, was the only car there. Took a little while to come to the speaker, fine. But then took our first item order, then cut off, sat in silence for a couple minutes before I was greeted with an aggressive “hello?” which we then said our second item and before we could continue our order was told to go to the window to pay and cut off once again. Not very satisfied as didn’t get to finish our order. Only given an extra star as the girl was polite at the window despite the attitude on the headset (could of been a different girl)

Fast food not a chance. Order a basic 6 piece bargain bucket to be told to park up and someone will bring it out. 20 minutes later still no one. Go in to find that they "miss placed the order" Get the food and there were only 4 pieces of chicken. Haven't used this one for nearly a year. Won't ever be using again.

KFC food is ok, not brilliant, my main annoyance is they don't sell coffee or any other hot drink, I don't want ice cold fizzy drinks on a cold day

This is by far, the worst KFC I have ever been to, soggy old tasting batter, BBQ sauce instead of beans, double chips for no reason, really long wait in drive thru when there's only one other car in it. Not happy, I will not be returning. This is a pathetic attempt at a vaguely decent fast food establishment. I will not be returning. I advise others, stay away. Bins have better food.
