Hands down, the worst KFC I've ever been too. Slow service, staff that don't care, dirty restuarant and toilets, litter all over the car park.....can't get any worse.

Standard KFC. Visited a few times and never had an issue.

The food was absolutely grim. We ordered from right round the block, and my box meal was an absolute mess. Chicken not in boxes, fries EVERYWHERE. And the sides OUTSIDE of my box meal. Food is always cold. I worked at a kfc for a very long time so I KNOW what I should expect and this is not it. Disgusting.

Eating in this time as as always the chips and food was all cold. How hard is it to serve hot food. I won't be back . Tried twice both terrible .. the previous time was a wednesday evening and they served me cold meat at least keep it hot. Just for over twenty pounds. Cold food is not good enough And the laughable part was you had three staff arguing about rate of pay and I overheard one saying they provide the best service in the area. So glad there is not another kfc in haverhll . Staff should not be talking about rate of pay in front of public. Very unprofessional.

Food not good, second time I bought the big family box at nearly £30.00 a time, first time was also not great, food in other KFC'c much better and enjoyable, whatever Haverhill is doing it's not good 🤢

Very hot inside if you eat in. Often frequented by teenagers

Best and calm KFC around. Enough parking and is less busy most of the time. Blue light card accepted.

Chips luke warm and extremely salty

Met a friend here for lunch and a catch up, went over an hour in the empty car park and now have £100 fine. Jokers

Place wasn't cleaned, metal frames around some tables covered in dust that you could see that hasn't been cleaned for ages. Both bins inside restaurant were full. Staff over the counter just talking. Couldnt see any staff cleaner tables or sweeping under tables after customers. Unpleasant atmosphere due to lack of cleanness.

Ate in restaurant. Food was nearly cold. Staff were miserable and clearly weren't interested. That's 2 visits here now and both negative responses. Shame.

Order 6pcs on the drive thru and my wife check if they’ve put the correct amount of chicken as we have ordered before and we found out that the 1 piece of chicken missing when we are already home. And we are right, it is missing 1 piece again! If we didn’t check and gone home there’s no time for us to come back and get it. I’m not sure if it’s deliberate as we order on drive thru, but I hope it this is only an isolated incident and not intentional.

Friendly staff, quick service via drive through, tasty food.

Still rubbish chips and still cannot get the orders right, plus costs now make me think a meal in a pub is a much better proposition.

Have they ever not messed up an order? This was probably the 4th and last time I’ll ever order. My order was £50 worth and what got delivered was someone else’s order that came to £13. I’d paid extra for priority delivery through Uber eats only to have to drive down there myself, defeating the object of paying extra. Run by spotty kids with no idea. Food was terrible too. Chicken is always over cooked. Shut the place down.

Food was upto usual KFC standards, toilets aren't great only one male one and female is combined with disabled and baby change which has to be unlocked by staff. Could be a little cleaner but quick service and friendly staff. Not bad if you want quick food in the area.

A good fast paced action joint for a quick bite. The staff is good and fast in providing service. The manager is a humble man with etiquette who is always nice to you if you interact with him. The place has the regular KFC menu as any other KFC joint out there except for hot drinks and ice cream which is not available here..overall great experience with them and would recommend if you wanna grab a quick bite

Since they changed their fries, KFC has been a go-to place for me to get take-out of a quick bite, and I will say the refurbishment of the interior with extra padded seats is a great addition since I last went. Also, not extremely busy so is always a good time to grab some food.

When I entered there were 2 couples sitting and 3 staff (that I saw) I used the screens to order (eat in) at 20:33 this evening and after paying and moving to the counter I was told it's take out only as they're shutting soon. The closing time on the door and on google is 10pm!! After sitting down on the pavement (it was 6°) next to the entrance (no outside seating here) I even found out they hadn't even put serviettes in the bag (for finger food!). So I had to eat my food while sitting on the path outside the shop. Oh and the chicken was dry and the chips only just warm. I'll never go there again and will never recommend it to others!!

Part of order swapped without asking. Food cold. Don't even bother with 'large fries'. They are smaller than a kids portion at McDonald's. Expensive ripoff merchant.

I don't recommend it, my daughter ate bad chicken one time in a row and she vomited all night long.. I recommend USA Chicken, it's still delicious and fresh food for so many years..

Arrogant management, spoke to them about problem with our last order and showed them a picture of the issue. They asked me if I had done a bad review on Google about it and i said no because I preferred to give them a chance and see if they would give me something in return for my troubles. There response was no we can't do anything unless u have put a bad review on us... coz if u have not done a bad review then there couldn't have been a problem. Ridiculous!!

Drive through is nearly always missing something or has something wrong either the sides aren't what we asked for or missing popcorn chicken or chips it's a nightmare but when they get it right its great. Just a shame its often not correct. I have to double check the bag each time now as I've gone home without things so many times

I hate the KFC in Uk . I had KFC in India, most of the middle east counties and the KFC they make is the worst . Fully oily , and sogy . The KFC I have seen out side UK , there are long queue and very busy , but the hospitality is unbelievable. Here they thing they are the boss and the attitude is “hey dude if you wanna eat EAT AND Go” No variety and the price is high in comparison with the quality provided . The menu needs to be updated and there are many works to be done in regarding branding . I do accept that in regards to the situation here it’s ok but I don’t think that’s the maximum what KFC can do . KFC can do wonders and I wish if they could change it to the expectation

This is KFC ketchup and mayameza. Shame on you. There is hair in the KFC food. The workers do not wear hats. We are waiting for 5 hours to eat inside because of playing around. The employees there are very sullen. The one at the cash register is crooked on the outside.

Possibly the worst kfc I’ve been to, half the time the food is cold and the order you’ve got is usually also wrong, assuming it’s down to the ‘chefs’ messing about. Absolute joke

Yet again another delivery with missing items and stone cold, just to top it off they have turned their phone off so you can't ring in to resolve how convenient...never again

Shocking, 'everything is out of stock' or realistically, they can't be bothered to cook it! Restaurant is closed early as they can't be bothered to clean up. What you do get if you order food that they can be bothered to prepare is tiny portions, kid sized really. I will NEVER return. Absolutely hopeless.

Get ready to be here for a while, the wait for food is rediculous if eating in.

Avoid at all costs they treated us badly and horrible and lied too three other customers about shutting at 10pm at night and even more went totally silence about have drugs on site as they kicked me and my partner out straight after !!!! I have just been through a Drive through at the Haverhill branch. The experience was appalling. On arrival at the speak through there was no one there. I called hello several times with no response so assumed it was closed so drove forward a little but saw customers in the restaurant so I reversed and called ' hello' again several times. I was just about to give up when I just about heard a very small voice. I placed my order and drove to collection. On arrival at collection I was reprimanded by what appeared to be a 12 year girl ( hopefully not). She informed me could I not shout as she was with a customer inside! I was amazed! Been effectively as a customer told off for calking through the speak phone and I should just wait!!! I asked how on earth would I know she was with another customer! At the very least someone should have answered and asked if we could wait a moment. On arrival at collection I would have expected an apology for been kept waiting, not a reprimand for keep calling. Seriously deplorable customer service. Definitely needs customer service training. I also tried to contact via telephone to speak to a shift manager but the number on the website is unobtainable. Definitely will not be using this KFC again. I am not leaving it here either.

Just ordered kfc drive through i asked if my 3piece chicken could be thighs as i can't eat others got home and not one thigh!! All in bin not happy.

Food is always nice - standard KFC. Always hot and nicely prepared. However, they never have Krushems available and they always, always forget something in your order. I don’t think we have ever been and the order has been right. I always give the benefit of the doubt and always end up going back to get what’s been missed. Staff are hit and miss with their customer service skills. They normally sound like they’ve been forced to work there. However there is one lad who is always bright and chirpy! Makes all the difference!

Everytime we use the drive through in the evening after restaurant is closed . No vegan options are available for my wife yet when we go in during the day they are suprisinglavailable againy ! This evening told at the drive through ordering area to wait 5 mins as he was workin alone . 5 mins plus passed . We couldnt leave due to cars behind and infront . Then the same voice said drive to the next window to order which we did .order my own items and vegan burger for my wife . Yet again no vegan stuff available for my wife are they too lazy to make it ? The guy who was working alone wasnt working alone as there was a girl beside him . He said we dont have any vegan burgers . We said can you check and the girl who was with him said dont bother checking we dont have them . Wont be calling in again ! We drove away without ordering anything

If i could rate this place with -6 starts i would do it. Waiting times: forever Food: 🤢 Service: Unacceptable and at the back in the kitchen you can hear swearing like your are in a building site. I will never ever come back there

None of the self service ordering screens were working so I tried the app, but signal inside the shop wasn't good so had to order at the counter. Food was lovely. Would have given 5 stars if I could have ordered using the self service screens as that would have avoided the queue.

We usually go there. My children love the popcorn chickens served there. Good place for a dine out.Nice little KFC. Food is always hot and fresh and the seating area was clean. The drive thru here is not the quickest though, especially at the weekend.

I need to start with the food as about 2-3 times was not cooked properly, I will give the owners an advice - You actually need to cook the chicken for a little longer so you don't serve uncooked chicken to people. Also the employees could be nicer and have some people skills at least. The diner is fitly at all times doesn't matter what time are you going, not taken care of at all, just milking money from people. Disappointing

Floors dirty, work surfaces and counter messy, staff rude and ignorant and when the food was finally ready (20 mins for 2 burger meals!) the chips were cold and gritty….. Avoid unless you’re really desparate, even then, Avoid!

Tried again Today 16 August 2023 no change even worse. Same as below plus they do not recycle any rubbish also electronic order boards still not working ask the girl at till about coffee and ice-cream and she said they have not had any for over a year. Must be something wrong as KFC don't care. No coffee yet again No ice yet again No ice cream yet again No interest from staff yet again No hand wipes anymore Bad experience half bag chips Staff did not interact at all What do you want pay stand over there

I am absolutely disgusted at the service received by one of your customer assistants today in Haverhill. Walked in at half past 8, so 2 people could get some food to be told we weren’t allowed to sit in because they shut at 9pm. After mentioning that we will literally be 10 minutes as we had just finished a run, he was refusing us to sit down because he finished at 9pm and ‘wanted to go home’. I am appalled that we have had to eat dinner, stood up outside. Prior to this, he was ridiculing his colleagues asking them in they ‘even had any common sense’ in front of customers. Embarrassing service , should be ashamed.

Very disappointed! Don’t buy KFC very often but fancied chicken and chips without drinks which is not on the menu boards. Ordered 6 pieces and large chips. The place was virtually empty with a few drive throughs but had to wait over 20 mins and when I got home the chips were cold, got 3 small, 1 large drum sticks and 2 small thighs which cost £14. More bones than chicken. I would like the management to comment!

The place was disgusting 🫣 all staff members just standing around chatting about their weekend. Table and floor was gross and don't even get me started on the toilets! It's a small dine in... doesn't take much to wipe over the tables! The chicken seemed it had just been reheated. It was not fresh at all. Years ago it was the nicest KFC to sit in, now it's the worst. Please if the manager reads this, do something about your lazy staff members.

Drive thru line was pretty quick!

I recently went in with my nieces. They loved it. It was a bit dirty for me. Floors had not been swept table not wiped. They weren't busy so they had time. We ordered our food sat down but they had got the order wrong so had to go up and get it put right. The staff were nice but very slow so it took ages to get our order.

Absolutely terrible customer service! Order through kfc they had someone from Deliveroo deliver our order. I checked on the app and it said it had been delivered so went to the door to expect the delivery driver! Nope! Food just left laying there on the floor. No one even knocked on our door. It was cold and yucky! 🤢 I tried to contact kfc but couldn’t get through I spoke to someone from Deliveroo and all that was done was I was given a refund of £8.49!! The food cost me £33.96!! What an absolute joke! Disgusting awful horrible customer service!

Worst kfc I’ve ever been to wait 45 minutes just for a wrap meal and it wasn’t even busy my food was cold it was a disaster just a 0 out of 10 very bad

Took my 11yo for dinner tonight. Food was as expected for a KFC (are KFC fries portion size always so small?). Arrived shortly after 7pm on a Monday and we were the only customers in the restaurant. For a restaurant so quiet I was disappointed that I struggled to find a clean table to sit at. The bins were all full and the restaurant overall would have benefited from a clean. Service was fast but thereafter the staff were just chatting amongst themselves (could have been cleaning front of house). I am by no means a prude but given that I was sat with my daughter we were both aware of the language being used in the staff members personal conversation, thoroughly inappropriate in a family restaurant.

We go in here quite regularly when we're heading to the cinema and it's never clean. Tables left with left over food or not cleared after customers. Floors left unswept and in need of mopping. The touch screen menu's don't work. Always seem to be around 6 members of staff in the kitchen which seems like overkill as the restaurant is never that busy that someone could keep on top of the cleaning but food is always how it should be. There are other KFC restaurants we'll be using in future which we'll drive to after the cinema. It's not particularly cheap either really.

I had a very bad experience. We went to dine in at 08.15pm. The closing time shows 10pm but the staff on duty didn't allowed to dine in and asked only the option as take away. The reason they said that they are going to close.

Staff were rude and abrupt. Pulled in via drive through and staff asked “can i help you?” in a rude tone. i understand it was 7:30 and they may have been tired but that’s not a way to speak to customers. i ordered and drove through where the gentleman snatched the cash out of my hand. fries were awful, soggy and cold. my food was also cold and smaller than previously purchased. my partners food was fine but they forgot his drink. absolutely do not recommend

Very poor service. Really slow. Takes order at self serve, and then doesn't have your order in stock. When order finally came, it was incorrect! Also multiple staff doing very little. Service with no smile either. Shocking

This service in this this particular KFC was absolutely shocking. One member of the staff was so rude. I didn't get his name. But because of this won't be going back there

Another meal at KFC and another terrible experience. Ordered our food and get to the window and told some of the items we ordered aren't available, but that was after they took my payment. The extremely rude individual working at the restaurant asked if we wanted something in their place, when I said what I would like I was told it was a £1 more! Should start charging them for each time I had a delivery and items were missing so had to drive down to collect my missing items! Unbelievable customer service as ever, rude and unhelpful. I honestly don't know why I actually thought going back would be a good idea. Formal complaint incoming but like always won't even be acknowledged. Roll on McDonalds coming to Haverhill!

I tried to call in about an interview because the online service wasn’t working. Through no fault of kfc. I have previous experience in the company. And I wanted to work for them. As it’s familiar. But I have tried to call at least 10 times. He phone must be unplugged or something because I cannot get through at all. I wanted to talk about the interviewing process

Well I went inside to eat but waited for over 10 to 15 minutes and thought stuff it I can go to chippy quicker or I should of gone through drive throw as they were served all the time before us, but I made the effort to go inside. Silly me They obviously don't want you waiting inside they'd rather you did drive threw or go somewhere else which I did. Chippy in queen's Street haverhill was lovely

First visit to this KFC... Went to order via the drive thru and was told that was NO krushums so my partner went in to get a ice cream instead only to find that the krushums was available 🤔

Being local, I've known that it's best to avoid here, especially when it's not busy. However, snow came down and football got cancelled so in we went. As expected, not many people in there - probably more staff than customers. This is a red flag. I suggest only going in there when it's full so you get fresh food. Most staff sitting around looking like they'd rather be anywhere else (can't blame them). Yet all the tables were dirty and bins overflowing. Honestly, who manages this place? The classic chicken pieces were dry and cold, like it was cooked at 2pm (it was 6pm). My boys enjoyed their mini fillets which must have been fresh out so they were happy enough. The place is like a morgue. Either the staff all hate each other or they're not being treated well at all. Could be both. I'll stay away now, which is a shame, because this place could do very well if it was on its game.

Before I say anything, this is my personal opinion of KFC Haverhill from our experience. Chip's dry and tasted like cardboard, the chicken OMG full of grease, which I reused on my motorcycle to regrease everything . Got to be totally honest, we sat outside the sports centre and had one chip a bite of chicken. we both gave each other a look. It all went in the bin. We then rode to McDonald's Newmarket (chalk and cheese). Don't bother keep your £££ in your pocket better fast food places in Haverhill than KCF 1000% . ( star burger / chalkstone chippy ) to name just two great fast food places

The manager and two others were so rude chips didn’t even look cooked and cold and it was not even clean they had the card machine on but didn’t know it was a dodgy one so had to use the drive through one also now got a stomach ache

‘Popped through’ drive through on the way to an event. From the start of queuing to getting the food took 30 minutes!!!!! Whilst in the queue we thought maybe they were short staffed……NO NO NO….arriving at the payment/collection window we found 5 staff! 1 - on window not knowing what our order was, 1- front of house, 1- busy preparing, 1- wandering around and the other had his arms crossed leaning up against the side!!!!! Absolutely joke!! No customer service and no management!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I cannot fault the actual KFC in Haverhill but the company that operates the car park are absolutely disgusting, was dark when we arrived & used the drive through, queued & ate in the car, truthfully never saw car park signs, wrongfully assumed car park was for KFC, please be aware of car park charges for over staying in the car park at KFC. £100 reduced down to £60 if promptly paid. Avoid if possible!!

Google says you're open until 11 and delivery is until 10:45, ordered at 9 and was delayed until just after 10 so cancelled and came down to be told you shut at 10. SORT YOUR LIFE OUT FIX YOUR DETAILS BAFOONS

Don't bother if late in the day. They close for business way earlier than stated on websites despite the staff still clearly on shift.

Really dirty tables and floors. Hot wings were tiniest ever. Someone asked staff to clean one of the tables and they could not find the spray. Really sub standard for KFC. Will avoid this one in the future.

They close when it suits them. Turned up at 2140 on a Friday, doors locked and drive thru all switched off.

Specifically requested a few breasts and a couple of side breasts as my family only eat white meat, paid £24 for my bucket "only purchase", got 1 tiny breast. My child was fed, my wife made herself a sandwich. Shameful!!!

Was just OK. Wasn't told the total amount, just expected my card to be shown at the machine to pay. Asked for a coffee & they didn't have any! Customer Service was bearly there.

One of the worst, just raw potato and half boiled chicken without any flavour. Just disgusting, everything went to waste bin.
