Worst customer service ever, when l received my teriyaki meal, on opening the fries squashed underneath box with terayaki burger, which was lukewarm, barely visible underneath a swathe of coleslaw...gross ! I'll never go to a KFC again

Very disappointed with the overall experience at this KFC yesterday. Waiting time was terrible, cleanliness in seating area and toilets was disgusting. Staff are too busy working on delivery orders and forgetting about their in store customers. At one point a member of staff shouted from the back "for f*** sake" immediately complained and staff member I complained to said she didn't hear it. It was as plain as day and I heard it from sitting at the furthest away point from the counter. Their resolution to this was to blast the music. I'm not the only person complaining. Various customers were talking to each other commenting on the customer service and time to receive their order. I definetly will not be back!

Total confusion with signs saying it was open and people being turned away at the hatch being told it was delivery only when the actual restaurant was open for orders. The woman behind the counter was unhelpful and rude and made it really quite difficult for the person in front (a paramedic in uniform) to order. Our order took ages, wasn’t all that nice and had items missing. Not sure why they bothered opening at all to be honest.

Saturday afternoon 2pm . Came in with the pram and was told to go sit outside. The chairs were already on tables it looked like they're ready to close already.

After waiting over 20 min for the store to open when a sign indicated they were going to open at 11, we were finally let in. I was holding my wriggly baby while waiting and the staff member who unlocked the door, didn’t even hold the door open and it closed right in my face. There was no apology for our wait. We ordered our food and the cashier grabbed our fries with no gloves on and put them in the bag. Not ideal during a pandemic! It just seemed like the man couldn’t be bothered to be polite. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

They are guaranteed to get your order wrong every single time. This is our local KFC an it has recently (in the last 2 years) gone terribly downhill!

We visited the Craigleith store, and it was just dreadful. Never any napkins, sauces... always a super long wait. Honestly, KFCs in Edinburgh need to go visit a few McDonalds and get some tips. All I can think is it must be something to do with cost cutting. But really? You should at least have stuff for your customers to wipe their hands.

This review doesn't criticise the restaurant or its food, but rather its accessible toilet. I have reported on three previous occasions that the flush was broken. I went to use the toilet today. It was absolutely disgusting. The toilet bowl was covered in faeces and it was blocked with several inches of faeces. I asked the manager to have a look. They obviously don't have a toilet check system. I refused to use it and went elsewhere. Shameful.

I waited over 15 minutes for my meal, the people in front of me waited 20 minutes. There was one cook, one server and one drive thru assistant during peak time service in the evening. Queue was at the door and the restaurant was filthy. They had ran out of various items on the menu and the drinks station was out of most drinks. The franchise owners should be disgusted of themselves. There was no management to be seen anywhere.

I love KFC and eat at their Livingston and Falkirk branches regularly. This dump should be closed and given a thorough clean before reopening with staff who actually care about service. The floor was littered with food and discarded straws, napkins and cutlery. The bins were full to overflowing. The order screen was full of “Being prepared” numbers and people were having to wait over 15 minutes to collect their order. Another customer told me it was always like that. The food was not up to the usual KFC standard when I eventually was served. Do yourself a favour and avoid this disgusting place.

Popped in for a snack and drink with my Granddaughter. Food was luke warm, place was filthy. See pics of bathroom, disgusting, no toilet paper/ hand towels, very unhygienic. Restaurant dirty, bins full, tables not washed down. 4 gents working.

Received a Luke warm coffee and on advising the 2 staff members that they should have the machine checked was told that they were waiting for this to happen. So KFC are happy to sell a sub standard product and hopefully get away with it ?! I left the coffee and stated that I would have expected to be offered a refund but alas this suggestion was met with a blank stare and no apology. Judging by other reviews it would appear this outlet needs some addressing. I was going to phone KFC to voice my displeasure but as they choose to use an 0844 number which they receive money from I refrained. Simple solution is never to go back especially as Costa and McDonald's are close by.

Hey I was in KFC today for a quick bite to eat with my husband and we asked for a mini filet burger and got given the full size burger not what we asker for up on getting home to eat owner food The burger have finger holes in the bun it was lacking in flavor from the chick witch normally tastes very nice my husband got Tue 2 peace meal wicth the same problem lacking in flavor was lucky he had gravy to eat his with very disappointed in the visit as its the 4th time you guys have done this to us not sure we will give yous another chance as feel let down again. On entering the restaurant it was noted the entrance door was smashed and we had to use another the door. The floors and tables were filthy with no one clearly taking the time to clean these areas. Food detritus and rubbish all over the floor and empty food containers on the tables. A bike was blocking access to three of the tables.The food was served with no directions to where any condiments could be found. The food was freshly cooked so no complaints there just the usual KFC fare. Not a place I will return to in a hurry

Me and my partner came to eat here one day, we got there at 20 mins past 10 and realised it didn't open till 10:30 so we went into a shop to pass the time etc but when we came out it still wasn't open. We ended up eating elsewhere and saw the shutters opening at 11 so it was quite a dissapointment.

Trabajo terminado y agarramos un bocado. Pedimos una comida filete y era razonable, menos de 5 libras. El personal era genial y sencillo y la espera no toma mucho tiempo. La comida era bastante agradable, y determinados para regresar.

Non mi ha fatto una bella impressione. Il locale era un po' sporco, e abbiamo mangiato così così. Hamburger di pollo fritto e patatine, ma in compenso abbiamo speso poco (9,6 pounds). Solo se si è di fretta o si ha fame.

Mi esposa y yo visitamos recientemente y encontramos este kfc tristemente deficiente en términos de la calidad de la comida, los inodoros sucios, no hay jabón en los aseos, así que me pregunto cómo el personal y si utilizan estos aseos.

El coronel, miembro de la tristemente célebre última Pentaverate, tiene una tienda en Escocia. En realidad este es el favorito de muchos pecadores Norte Americanos. . Y es muy probable que encontrar su lugar en Escocia. El 11 hierbas y especias hacen que sea un favorito, pero el pollo parece ser un poco más dura!

After a quick rake round the shops lunch was required. KFC is always very samey however this Zinger Tower box meal was probably the best one I’ve had. It was fresh and hot. Looking forward to my next one.

So on Saturday my friend and I visited KFC after trailing around the whole of Edinburgh for lunch so we weren't in the best of moods. I placed my order on the machine and service was decent, about a 5 minute wait. The man handed me two lunch boxes and drinks and expected me to carry the whole thing without at tray! A was rocking around like a Christmas tree with the drinks balanced on the lunch boxes then I finally made it to my seat. The food was nice and the chicken was as moist as my grannies cakes so thank you KFC xx

been to a few kfc's in Edinburgh. can not fault the food, bit on the expensive side at times. KFC however need to tell their staff to smile and at least look like they enjoy their work. some of them you could not paint a smile on their face.

Had KFC order delivered by Deliveroo and even phoning to confirm order they still got it wrong! My friend was unable to eat hers because of her intolerance to dairy, unacceptable!

good old kfc they never let you down i just love their chicken wish they done home delivery as its not well situated for public transport.

El tipo de cosas que ves en un documental de televisión sobre sitios chungos para comer. Yo estaba medio esperando que venga Gordon Ramsey, insultos en carga en todo el mundo antes de cerrar el lugar y reinventa el mañana como KFC que no parecía un camión colisionó contra bin tenía una cochera de reciclaje de papel de desecho. . . . . Los patrones eran bellísimas la basura de las mesas en el piso para hacer espacio y luego ellos mismos ayudan a las botellas de limpiador de nata UHT y toallitas, haciendo un lodo mezclado con salsa de champaña tobillo profunda confeti gran pegajoso.

Quick service which was good and the food was cooked very nicely as always. Prices for KFC can be slightly overpriced but certainly is worth it.

So I arrived in the queue with only 2 party's in front of me & after 15 mins I finally get served only to be told there is no chicken for 20 mins & the family of 3 that was in front of me who had payed for there order was also told the same

Just before getting back on our train to Inverness we had KFC both of us trying a rice box meal for the first time , not exactly the biggest portion in the world but surprisingly tasty.

Restaurant was not clean and hygienic because of the crowd, there was only one staff who was cleaning the restaurant but one was not enough. The staffs on the counter were not at all friendly... But the location was good

Wicked zinger tower meal with gravy and coke the perfect hangover cure i absolutely love it .would eat here everyday if i could but i would probably die quite young

We took our two grandchildren there early Saturday evening - it looked like everyone on Edinburgh had eaten there & left their left-overs lying where they had eaten. So unfortunately there were no clean tables to eat at and we had to clear rubbish off one ourselves before we could eat. During the 30mins we were there nobody came to tidy up despite there being at least 3 staff on duty. BTW - the actual food wasn't that great either.

The only way to taste chicken as so delicious and crispy crunchies by only through KFC feeling soo good

I really appreciate a good KFC, but so often (here as well as in other restaurants) all sorts of things go wrong. Too many things!On our latest visit, a few days ago, first of all I noticed that the menu sign had changed. Not only that, but familiar items were missing. Options for kids for example. When we asked if they had stopped doing a kids menu we were told that they hadn't. So why take it off the menu? And why isn't there a full menu on display somewhere in addition to the big sign over the counter?Next it was the temperature in the restaurant. It was freezing! The air conditioning was blowing cold air on full blast. It was colder inside than out!This affected the temperature of our food, which was cooling down very rapidly, so we ended up wolfing down our food much faster than we wanted, before it was stone cold.In addition to all this, I still have the same issue with KFC in that they never offer any sauces. You also can't help yourself to sauces, so if you forget to ask, you end up standing in the queue again... I keep giving KFC another chance, but I really don't know why anymore. It almost always ends up being a disappointment!

Went in to sit down and eat but every table was disgusting floor and chairs weren't to far behind. Wasn't overly busy so no excuses for state of the place. We decided against eating in and took out. Food was okay but seeing front of place, we really didn't wanna think what back looked like. Only option at time or wouldn't have ate.By time we got order there was 1 guy wondering about with a spray to clean but think there could have been an army at it as it was a tip.

Popped in here with my wife for a cheeky wee Tower Burger Meal. Very friendly staff and pretty decent grub. GOOD JOB guys ;)Definitely the Best KFC that I've been too !

Usual carry out but wow was the chicken bucket greasy ! Chips were undercooked so overall a complete waste of money.Will give this KfC a miss.You know what you get but this is the worst I have ever had.

Am Essen kann man im Grunde nichts aussetzen, da es immer nach dem gleichen Standard gemacht wird. Aber was die Sauberkeit angeht, ist diese Filiale eher schlecht, als durchschnittlich.Schon im Außenbereich flogen überall die lehren Verpackungen und Essensreste herum.Im Gastbereich sah es nicht besser aus. Tische unsauber, Fußboden sehr verschmutzt und das leere Tablett konnte man noch nicht einmal weh bringen, weil die Mülleimer voll waren. Also insgesamt eher Mangelhaft.

As all KFC's I have visited this one offers the same choices and the food was fresh and hot. The staff where not the quickest so I wouldnt like to go when it was full/busy

If you like spicy chicken wings or burritos, this place is reasonable good choice. It's cheap, nice place. Definitely recommended!

There is a small, healthy choice, but the excellent staff make it sospecial. The seating space, even when busy, never seems 'crowded' and it's fun with the view of the car park and planes flying past to the airport!

Have not had a KFC for about 2 years as was not very well after the last one Went to the Craigleith KFC tonight ordered a zinger meal and a popcorn chicken & fries with 2 sides of corn and a gravy.Got to car and opened the (5p) bag inside was 2 bags of tiny child like sized portions of fries, 1 box of popcorn chicken (tasted like it had been kicking about all day, very chewy) 2 corns in their bags may as well have ate the bag as the corn tasted old and was only just warm, Was told by the guy serving me that the zinger burger was at the bottom of the bag in a box, I found it at the bottom of the bag all flattened and in a piece of paper, LOOKED ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES ADVERTISED IN THEIR KFC SHOP!!! VERY MISLEADING !!I paid £10 odds for the pleasure of this bag of inedible rubbish.Would never recommend this KFC to anyone, better to go to marks and spencer or boots nearby and get 2 meal deals for around £8 far tastier and much better quality food.Never again KFC you have had your last chance!!!

This is the last time il go here... Been a few times for a quick snack, the staff really nice but the place is dirty!!! Especially the bins and tables were dirty, stains all down the front on every one if them, if that's the state of what you can see what is behind the scenes!!!!

I have to admit to having a soft spot for fried chicken, so the chance to take the kids there after a match was too good to pass up. I wish I had gone home!A few hours before closing the majority of the seats in the restaurant were closed off 'for cleaning'. There was someone pretending to do that, but meanwhile the remaining tables were full and filthy. Good debris all over the floor and an unpleasant odour. Kids gad been promised, so we stated and ordered a boneless feast affair, with 8 buts of fillet, 4 chips, popcorn chicken, some coleslaw and baked beans as sides, and a big bottle of warm pop. Food was luke warm. Fillets OK, but popcorn chicken was horrid. Rubbery and tasteless mush in tasteless batter. Kids ate it, but even they turned noses up at popcorn chicken. All in all a great disappointment. This restaurant could make a bomb in this part of town. It almost has a monopoly as a fast food joint. If it focused on the important stuff, like providing a decent environment, training its staff to keep it like that and serve food hot. Until they get that right, I won't be heading back any time soon to KFC.

Visited here a few times now and never had problems before but this time it has gone down hill. The floor was sticky and dirty. Tables not cleared. And the toilet not cleaned regularly. The smell was over powering. Service pretty a dismal. Something has gone wrong here.

At Papa's recommendation myself and Gwendolin my fiancee visited this establishment. Unfortunately its cuisine did not live up to papa's description. The beverage selecetion was limited which was a great disapointment but on the other hand its bargain bucket represented tremendous value. I was very pleased to meet JR who the manager introduced as their best customer. But I'm afraid neither Gwendolin or myself found this establishment "finger licking good." JR may like dining there every day. Papa may vow to return there often but, alas, neither Gwedolin nor I will be sampling the delights of the Zinger Burger Meal in the near future

My wife and I wished to dine somewhere different recently. We knew that there was a unique restaurant specialising in poultry fare locally. The first bonus is that one does not have to book a table - you can choose where to sit. We chose a window table with views over towards Edinburgh Castle (if Sainsbury's had not been in the way!). We enquired about a taster menu - however unfortunately they do not have a taster menu - but there is indeed a wide variety on the menu itself.The staff within the restaurant are friendly and helpful - even giving helpful suggestions when choosing food such as "Why not try our Deli Deluxe Range"?Gladys chose an 'Original Recipe Meal'. This meal contains an amazing 11 herbs and spices. Gladys asked if she could get the recipe - but was told that it is secret. It certainly 'hit the spot' as my grandson, Tarquin, says! Seh also received french fries and a beverage with the meal. The fries were golden and crispy.I chose a 'Supercharger' - the menu said that if I was in need of a full-scale fill-up, to try it. The breast fillets were succulent and the sauce was suitably tangy. I also received french fries and a beverage in addition. Unfortunately they do not have a liquor licence as a glass of Les Domaines Brocard Chablis would have complemented the dish perfectly. The service was efficient. We will return!

I visited this KFC as a "quick and cheap" lunch option only to be left extremely dissapointed. The restaurant is grubby inside and the staff are really quite unhelpful. On entry, we were greeted with stuck up notes advising there were no boneless meals available. Inside, further notes advised that Krushems were also unavailable. My husband and I eventually settled on a meal each - a Tower Meal (me) and a Zinger Tower Meal (husband). The high points - the lettuce was fresh and the bun soft, the low points - really tasteless - I had no idea there was any sauce or mayo on the burger and the presence of the hash brown was completely un-detectable. The fries were edible - neither good nor bad! My biggest gripe was the price - over £10 for 2 very basic and unsatisfying meals. I should have popped into M&S for a takeaway sandwich as I am sure this would have been more fulfilling. I have only ever visited KFC twice before - Blackpool and Inverness and after this trip, I wouldn't go back. I know many people love KFC but I really failed to see what the fuss was based on this experience.

Chicken was disgusting- it was all brown and rotten inside!! Queue was massive!? Pepsi was WARM. Chips were greasy(unlike the other KFC's!!!)!We honestly love KFC but this was an off put! If you are looking for a kfc in Edinburgh don't go to this one!!!
