Staff very helpful wait was minimal and the food was really good ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a great restaurant for getting a quick lunch, the food was hot and the service was friendly. But there was too much mayo in my fillet burger. Otherwise, everything was great!

Food and service was amazing, I saw some reviews, was doubtful but everything was brilliant, food perfect, staff was amazing

Great atmosphere, really fastly packed food and the food is really hot and delicious, I would definitely recommend the shop to anyone in the local area

Best KFC Branch ever. I’m from Manchester and visit Doncaster when bored, the food in this branch is better than any I’ve been to in the north west. Friendly staff working hard 10/10

Service is fantastic best branch. You get what you pay for and quality is far better than my closet kfc york road. Just be careful at dinner time because you get other people that don't read their order numbers right and take the wrong food. So if you do get wrong food you've took wrong order number

horrible chicken , I purchased 3 chicken strips ,gross and expensive.

Had boneless chicken it was excellent.

Guy serving was swearing and a young girl cleaning was so rude! We had just finished our food in KFC and as we were leaving I was ordering a taxi and the lady said do not sit down! I was never sitting down and was stood up!!! I had just spent a lot on the food and the food was awful but decided not to complain!!! However after this awful service I had to say something!

Place is disgustingly dirty and staff have not got a clue how to operate the equipment. I am not surprised KFC in the UK is in financial trouble.

Don’t normally do reviews as don’t want to be classed of one of them people but this really annoyed me! Got two snack boxes. 6 pieces of popcorn chicken. So I told them and they said they’d sort it just to go behind the back and shut the box. I expect you don’t get loads but 6 is ridiculous. The staff didn’t seem bothered. My kids love a kfc but never ever ever from any kfc we got to have they just got six! Also I got a gravy mega box. Gravy was cold and half full. Will go to another kfc will never come back to this one. Also mucky tables!

Food was ok but was very messy and unclean. The staff were also very unorganised and got multiple orders wrong back to back

Went in recently to claim the deals and offers off the app but QR code scanner wasn't working on the self service machines. Waited at the till counter instead to claim the offers was served quite quickly for the lunch hour ...by a friendly member of staff that help me claim my rewards and offers and even though my order had to be rang through as two separate orders she arranged to have both orders packed in one bag. Waited 5ish minutes, order was handed to me by the same server she assured me that both orders where in the bag. Everything was as ordered, All in all good, helpful, freindly service. Thankyou.

Used to get a decent portion but the portion sizes seem to have been shrinking for a while now but today just took the absolute mick. Although I paid and ordered for a meal I received the smallest portion or chips and popcorn I've ever seen. Used to get atleast double that but now it's barely enough to feed a small child. The amount I got for the price is disgusting. Is it 10p-15p per chip now? I've actually seen more in a child's meal. Very disappointed. This is my local so usually my go to kfc but starting to be put off from going. Lots of times I've had things missing like chips missing from meals (atleast 2 times off top of my head) or ordered a large and got a small chips or a drink I ordered and paid extra for was apparently out of stock so was given something different but not reimbursed the difference (this has happened atleast 3 times). Sauces missing (more times than I can count) or gravy missing (this has happened atleast 3 times) another time I had a fillet missing. Could've made up 2-3 full meals with the amount of things I've had missing and the above is just what I remember for sure off top of my head but I know their was more. The portion sizes are better from the kfc on the High Street or atleast from personal experience. Aparently at the frenchgate one they're ration sizes and not worth what you pay. I also feel like I can't say anything sometimes as if I notice before I leave their is a particular member of staff who is very argumentative with an attitude. I ordered a large and she gave me a regular sized drink. I mentioned this and with an attitude she said they've run out of large cups. I said I've paid for large and can't she just do a large in a medium and a small cup to make up the difference she scoffed, notched up the attitude even more and sid no we don't do that. I tried to say I'd paid for a large not a regular so I want what I paid for but she wasn't budging. I was disgusted at how she spoke to me and her attitude in a customer facing role. I'm always polite at respectful even when faced with someone like her but now if I see her I know if theirs any issues it won't get fixed. On other occasions if the same has happened with them running out of large cups the staff have been lovely and without even asking gave me a regular and small or just 2 regular sized cups. Luckily she is the only one who seems to have an argumentative attitude with customers as all the other staff have always been really nice.

Closes at 6pm got there at 5.15pm to be told takeaway only keeps closing restaurant earlier and earlier every week 6 closing should be 6 closing not 515pm Burger King luckly let's you eat in till 6

I ordered a salad and they gave me a spoon. When i asked for a fork they sad they don't have forks. How you sell something but the costumers cant eat it?And the staff was very rude.Tables dirty and i can keep going.

Management really need to be more involved in the business than they are. All the KFC restaurants in Doncaster are just as bad. Doncaster frenchgate, high street and Sprotbrough really needs an unannounced visit from head office. Entire workforce of 16-18 year olds, no experience. No respect for customers food, throwing it onto the trays. Lazy staff constantly moping around, taking 30 minutes to clear a table with food and rubbish left on it. No please, no thank you. Is this the sort or customer service we are to expect from this generation? The only people in the restaurant that actually make themselves busy are those in the back doing the cooking. What happened to the kids meal chicken strips from back in the day?! Not the rock hard mini fillets but actual strips in the same softer coating as the chicken. Popcorn chicken is now mostly over cooked or stale. Delivery orders are even worse, constantly missing items, getting an additional requirement wrong, some people have allergies so these notes for the restaurant really need to be checked every time. Just no, it’s terrible and I don’t think I’ve had a decent experience in any of their restaurants since around 2018.

Got home with a takeaway, just to realise no gravy in my bag that I paid extra for... so disappointed. No possible to check at the counter cos bags are sealed with sticker. I'm not happy.

Used the drive thru. Asked for a gravy mega box, corn on the cob and a tango. Ended up with an over cooked dry gravy burger meal. Partly my fault for not checking the receipt

Jedzenie bez żadnych zarzutów, ale obsługa mega zamulona. 5 osób na kasie stoi i patrzy na siebie a jedzenie czeka, akurat wiem co mówię pracowałem 6 lat w takiej restauracji. Więc jedzenie na plus było by lepsze i cieplejsze jak by wydawano na bieżąco. Pozdrawiam

Passed through doncaster station and needed a stop for a very quick bite Because it is self collection there were big queues around and staff struggle to keep up. Collection area is small and the customers were crammed in. Fries were soggy, coffee lukewarm. Not on par with kfc in certain other countries

Food cold, staff arguing among themselves unprofessional, ginger haired girl not wearing a mask and seems a bit controlling and nasty toward the other female staff. Drink missing from order, cold chips, cold burger. Disgusting tables and taking order wrong.

I will admit the food was OK, as long as its cooked properly. But while I was waiting I observed a worker in the back with her mask around her throat, which worried me greatly. But then I found out why, she was licking her fingers. The sheets they use to wrap non boxed foods like wraps, are really thin, so by licking her finger and thumb she can separate the sheets. I cannot stand up for myself and need to avoid all confrontations so I was unable to complain or even refuse the food. I'm grateful for my food being boxed. But you notice these things since covid. Even without covid, it's still non hygienic to practically lick the paper before wrapping food. So now I can longer go to any KFC. Save some money.

The food is fresh, very good, decently hot and quickly prepared. If it's too crowded and you're in a hurry, I advise you to take your food on the go or go somewhere else where it's not as crowded. My favourite dip so far is the Supercharger dip.

This was better than the last time I visited a couple of weeks ago. Experienced staff with well prepared trays and food in order, last time it was mainly kids with no napkins available and no cutlery, salt or anything else provided with the meal.

4 stars because of the wait bit food wise 5 starts because it's fresh, warm and very tasty

Absolutely shocking. Portion sizes for the French fries were dreadful, don't expect masses but want what you pay for - no difference between large and regular just one is in a cardboard packet and one paper. The burger was barely warm with too much sauce not enough salad. If the ice had been taken out of the drink we would have been lucky to get quarter of a cup. Totally disappointed, worse KFC ever.

Like visiting this KFC as always enjoy the family feast bucket here, bit funny as today's visit someone else stole my bottle of 7up drinks that came with our meal. The cashier and saw this two women walk out with 2 bottles instead of 1, I laughed as the cashier's disgust face was just so funny. They replaced it with no trouble, so wasn't at all upset.

You need to improve customer service, but the taste and flavor of your meals always excellent

My daughter waited 20 minutes for her order so i went up to complain all there bothered about are just eat customers, they'd removed her order from the screen what a joke

Resturant absolutely fit to burst and not Covid safe at all. Waited 20 minutes for a takeaway order that was wrong. The food that we could eat was nice but will visit a different outlet in future

Chips were cold but they were shutting in half hour. No it shouldn't make difference should be hot all time. Up graded to large got same size as friend.

Even during covid the service here was great. Quick and efficient. Was very clean and had only a few tables available for safety measures. Can't complain at all.

Frenchgate Doncaster-- All under 1 roof

This has to be the worst KFC I have ever had, the chicken was pink and bloody, when returned back to the counter we was rudely told that we had been eating it, so we pointed out we had a 13 month old child with us so obviously we had to break the skin, only to expose the gruesome sight before us, we was given one piece of chicken even though we had ordered a family feast on which that chicken was just as bad, my only regret is that in utter disgust we left the premises without taking photos as it should have really been shamed on social media, will not be returning.

Chicken very good, Maltese drink not much flavour. Tables clean but 2 auto hand sanitize machines empty which was very disappointing.
