KFC Colchester - High Street in Colchester

The delivery driver refused to come upstairs to deliver while I was at work and was shouting at me for making him wait

only sent thigh and tasted dry like had been out for 3 hours.. didn't look the right colour either!

Had half the order missing and was stone cold, avoid at all costs spent 30 quid to just recieve 6 pieces of chicken and some chips. What a joke

Waited over an hour to only receive half our order. Terrible experience.

Forgot my 6 mini fillets that I paid extra for.

Chips were a bit cold due to being put besides the can apart from that delightful

ordered at 17:26, app said 15-20 minutes. Food arrived at 18:50 and was cold. a terrible experience

Ordered 3 Stuffing Stacker Burgers, none of them had any stuffing in! How you can miss the ingredient that’s in the title I don’t know.

over 2.5hr delay due to lack of drivers, just eat really need to sort this. However the food itself tonight probably the best pieces of chicken ive had from them in a loong time, sweaty chips but still tasted good. The chicken made up for the delay but i was almost going to cancel

not all order was delivered and some cold. only 1 chicken drumstick in a large bucket.

I ordered McDonald’s and it never arrived and then I ordered KFC and it was late and cold absolutely livid

don't know what happened but the flavouring on the chicken and chips was so over powering. some of it was so spicy it couldn't be eaten.

The fries are cold.. Change the oil in the fryer because it is so old that the fries are sour etc. You can also see by the color. Portion for this price? 🤣 last time I ordered fries. The wings were good

When i want kfc I’ll order again. Delivery was on time and it was quick enough.

On the KFC website it states this shop closes at midnight. Went to get food at 10@30 and door locked and not letting anyone in. Had a trip there planned for 2 weeks. Rubbish service.

The food 20 minutes late and cold, not very enjoyable and respectfully it would of been better to go and get it myself.

Went into the Colchester store around 11:20pm, door was open, lights were on, customers were still in there eating, walked to the counter to order only to be told.....we're closed. Opening hours are listed on Google as being open until midnight. Shocking service

Delivery person refused to come upstairs to my floor to deliver my food! said I have to come down to ground floor and collect food. I live top floor. Kinda defeats the point of getting a delivery to your FRONT DOOR. Not happy and wouldn’t use this service again. He rung me 3 times over and over telling me come down. I shouldn’t be expected as a female to run down 2 flights of stairs late at night in PJS to collect food I’ve paid to be sent to my front door. Don’t recommend! Food was cold also.

food was hot on arrival, all items arrived so nothing missing. on this occasion the 6 pieces of chicken were dark in colour which can only mean there were fried for too long with a hint of burnt flavour. I specifically asked in the notes for the burger to have no sauce and salad but that was ignored. not the best experience from KFC so can't recommend them for quality and value like they used to be.

food is stone cold and the contents are both moist and all over the packaging I.e burger in several pieces in the bag covering everything in sauce the food was produced out of a literal black bin liner I understand it was raining but as a delivery driver on a bike a waterproof bag and some care to my items wouldn't go amiss

Ordered at 3:45pm, food arrived at 5:15. Missing food and food that was delivered was soooo cold! Not great when you are ordering food for small people too!!!

I ordered from this kfc at 18:24 and this order arrived at 19:45, The delivery time kept changing and it took over an hour for it to say out for delivery, I kept calling the place and they never once picked up the call , as the order arrived the food was cold, This place need to do better as it was awful

Ordered the popcorn meal. Gravy and it arrived with half the food. They wouldn't refund so needed to contact deliveroo. I will never order KFC AGAIN

ordered at quarter to 6 and arrived at 8. cold. poor. i could quite literally drive to stansted and get on a flight to Amsterdam arrive and grab something better to eat in that time it took to drive to kfc and bring me chicken. absolutely shocking

Not what was advertised for an aero Krushem and might as well have nothing in and these cost me £5 which is basically wasted now. They also tasted off and service was bad.

delivery driver got lost asks us to go 10 minutes away and meet them and pick up the order signed off that it was delivered before it was really unacceptable and we want a refund as food was stone cold by the time we finally received it

The driver collected my food then drove with it to another location 3 miles away before turning around to come back. Took an additional 20mins. I live about 10mins from the restaurant. .

After waiting nearly 2 hours for our food it came stone cold I’m not happy! I tried to ring the restaurant numerous times with no answer just trying to cancel it because the time kept going up and up I understand it’s a Friday and it can be busy but at least answer the phone so we can cancel!!!

Easy to order on the app, arrived on time however packed in the bag on its side so the sauce and food had slipped out and was on up one end.

This place is absolutely awful. I’ve ordered food via Uber. Not only KFC give half of the order and also got piece of hair on chicken. KFC didn’t take responsibility and asked me to contact Uber to sort this mess out even it’s KFC fault. This is what happens when companies recruit wrong people with no respect for their jobs as I have seen how they operate in this shop.

Today, me and my brother went into KFC, expecting delicious chicken. However, the service that we got was ridiculous. We kindly asked for some fried chicken, and the man was back chatting at us, saying that they don't have that type of chicken, in a very rude manner. Eventually, we got our food, but the chicken was so bland. There was no flavour to it and I will not recommend it. The toilets were also kept in a horrible state.

Driver was at one destination for 20mins before delivering my food when it arrived it was warm not hot. Chips were stone cold. Driver also delivered food to the wrong address.

It's a KFC and food was well done for what it is, as you would expect. Tables a bit dirty but main reason for reviewing is because Vijish was extremely helpful and wanted to leave my thanks.

Absolutely terrible first time I’ve used just est food was stone cold really terrible I’ve requested for a refund as I’m not happy one single bit!!!!

The KFC on the high street is small and not in the best condition. The poor condition of the building and small location make this not a nice place to sit in . I would also ads its not really a disabled friendly place as access is not great and no real seating downstairs

The staff was very rude and I was explaining to her what food and pieces of chicken I wanted then she was arguing at me that the chicken I wanted wasn't in stock, I was so upset and also the KFC shop was very quiet there was no one hardly in the shop, in my experience I was not happy at all I was very disappointed the was they treat the customers. Then I had to cancel my food and left the shop.

Usual KFC standard food, chips are still pretty awful. Was given a delivery code on ordering which was not even asked for when order was delivered!

Disappointed, paid for 3 piece meal and got 2pc. Especially as KFC is no longer the cheap takeaway. Quite frustrated.
