KFC Bolton - The Linkway in Bolton

We ordered on the app, but we had an incident and very kindly, the manager helped us. The service from him was very nice and friendly and he resolved our problem swiftly. The food was great as well, freshly made, very hot and we even managed to make use of the offers on the app as well. Thank you, KFC Manager!

Food was close to junk, to salty, dry, cold, rough chicken thigh and breast. Bitterly cold especially near the entrance door. Chocolate was like water, order kiosk has no receipt. Probably one of the worst KFC in the world

Had to order from kiosk, no option to order at til - not a good start - food arrived promptly, unfortunately over salted and the bottom of the bun stone cold, not even attempted to toast - tables although empty where not clean - can and should do better

Ordered at 4.55pm delivery for 5.45. Time kept changing. Got to 19.20 rang up and they blamed the delivery driver not turning up, after 10 mins checked the app again and the delivery time had changed to half hour earlier. Basically you forgot my order…. Still awaiting my food 😬 won’t be ordering again!!

However this food order was for my brother who has learning difficulties. The courier was impatient and rude when trying to obtain the delivery code . A little patience and compassion in this world goes along way . The PIN codes aren’t great for the elderly or people with disabilities

order was 2 hours late, when it arrived it was freezing the chips was cold and stale the gravy was cold. and the delivery driver dropped the can of tango and was spraying everywhere.

Awful experience. I wanted to place an order with the counter staff and was told to use the console. I said I want to be served and was told no use the console. So I left and went to Mac D who served me at the counter and delivered my meal to my table. Won’t be going to KFC again.

the delivery driver went to the wrong address, I had to go and collect my food from him up the other end of the road, no apology he just kept pointing at his map on his phone.

After biting into the fries there was an awful taste of bleach/cleaning chemical! I didn’t dare eat the chicken so it all went into the bin.waste of money and won’t be ordering from here again

Came on Saturday with my children for a bargain bucket meal. My husband was told to order all food on the screens, apparently you can't do this over the counter anymore. Later into our food, my children wanted a drink each (two fruitshoots), I asked at the counter if I could pay for two. The lady said I'd have to do it through the screen and wouldn't take my order at all. Seems really silly for two bottles of juice that are literally just behind her in the fridge. Considering I'd have to order them on the screen just for her go and get them again anyway. They still do have tills as I saw both staff members on them whilst eating. In the end I dosnt bother and asked for water instead. This received a lot of face pulling and huffing and puffing.

All the order was wrong yet again I rang up the restaurant. They actually did realise that they give me the wrong order. They have actually told me to email you for a refund.

Chicken didn't taste of anything

Order from here on just eat but they always take off what you write when being honest because they don’t want to risk the business.! Well I will write a review here then, so we had a food delivery from this KFC the delivery itself was good and in the time it stared, however the food itself wasn’t that nice the chicken was sloppy and the chips tasted stale. Me and my partner have both got upset stomachs since eating from Here.! Will not being coming back after this.!!

always missing some bits of order or cold

This review has nothing to do with the food. Today I ordered food through the drive through, and the service was abysmal, I was cut off speaking due to them chatting to each other about 5 times and the Manor I was spoken too In was quite rude.

Bag of chips was half full. Mayo was non existent. Place was empty but I was parked up & nobody ever came with food. Tried to speak to employees but they didn’t understand me & kept trying to retake the order & charge me despite me saying I had already ordered & paid. Spoke to 4 different people before actually getting the food 🤯. This used to be a great KFC but it’s continually going downhill. I suspect it has changed hands within the last few years.

Soggy chips Tough and fry chicken Bread stale on burger. They’ve ruined kfc.

The food was late cold squashed into a bag not a box , the portion size of the fries was a joke about 20 chips in the bag and I also paid £3.19 for an extra portion and that was the same very small portion for the price , I think kfc are just a discrase , obviously they do not give a dam about there customers , the staff and the management need a lesson in customer satisfaction because they don’t no the meaning of the word . They should be ashamed of themselves sending food out like that.

food was not as good as usual but was acceptable however the packaging was questionable. the chicken was almost falling out ofbthe bog which had ripped at the bottom and it seemed as though they were trying to get as much as they could I'm 1 bag as opposed to how they usually pack different things in separate bags. luckily the delivery guy recognised the bag ripping before it was all pulled from his bag and all over the floor.

I bought the Mighty Bucket for One. When I got home it was short of the fries and the two original recipe pieces had a coating that was undercooked. The shop only had a few people in so the staff were not rushed off their feet at just before midday. I have had a lot better food and service from this outlet in the past. Not happy at all.

Driver got lost, phoned me up and asked where my house was. They were one row of houses out and said he didn’t understand the concept of the UK house numbers and wasn’t given an app to find houses.

A good place to have a quick bite. However, the fillet is a bit burnt and there is always a queue for waiting.

unfortunately again there was no supercharger dip and they put in full sugar tango when I asked for pepsi max ( I can't even have full sugar)

The chicken and fries ordered were fine, the mash we were told there was none, even though I had ordered it on the machine so asked for the mash and one tub of gravy be refunded, oh and daughter noticed the mash was replaced with a large tub of beans, useless. Took an age to find someone to refund me and only got the mash refunded not the gravy I did not need. Will not be visiting again.

Shrink-flation! You pay more for less. Less fries, smaller chicken pieces and less customer service. What is the point of filling in your order on the app if the staff ignore what you order and give you the standard and then do not apologise?

I am an Uber delivery driver. The employees sabotaged me and took my bag in custody just because the delivery did not start on their screen. After a minute they said ok. That's ridiculous. They just took my bag and returned to me afterwards without an apology. Staff is very unethical

Food was great, service was a bit weird, we got told to miss the bit where they take our orders, got to the pick up station and and they didn't even know about us being told to miss the ordering station so I think one worker was being a little lazy but it's no reason not to go again

Driver left food outside front door of building and didn’t even ring or ring the doorbell to let us know the food had arrived. A neighbour brought the food up to us as we were completely unaware it was there.

Not happy with the food being crammed into a small bag, and the soft drink crushing the chips (which seemed a small amount for regular) weirdly I counted the amount and the number was 21, twenty one chips in a regular bag.. come on KFC

Its a KFC. What more can I say. It was clean, staff were friendly and it wasn't busy. Always a good thing
