I stopped at the M6 Corley Services on my trip to Wales. The KFC outlet was disappointing on several levels. Orders are done on a touch screen, and even though I pressed the disabled icon, I still needed to queue and carry my tray so the icon proved meaningless. I had purposely chosen this services because of the KFC signage as I wanted to try the vegan burger. It is billed as being "original recipe with the 11 herbs and spices. The original “original recipe” from the 1950s has morphed some over the years, but it is still tasty. It has been years since I had it, but with the new move to plant based menus I wanted to give the vegan KFC offering a try.First of all the down side. This is a motorway services, so presentation and care are not at the forefront. That said the coating of the vegan fillet (a Quorn product) was similar to what I remembered the chicken fillet’s as having. The combo with Quorn was not as nice as I would have hoped, however. I am actually a fan of the “chicken” offerings which Quorn makes, but this was not one of the best. It may be that the KFC 11 herbs and spices diminished the “chicken” illusion that Quorn usually has, or it may be that I just expected too much.Any way the sandwich was okay. The bun a little dry, though the spiced fillet compensated for that a little. The iceberg lettuce was – well iceberg lettuce and offered little to the overall sandwich.The seating area was clean, but service was really assembly line like and the meal was little more than shoved at me.

Terrible customer service.Self service machine allowed us to order and pay for food, that wasn’t available. The rude staff member decided to swap what we had ordered for something completely different and cost less than what we had ordered.When I complained all she did was shrug her shoulders. I begrudgingly took the food which was inedible. I will NEVER eat a KFC again- they have seriously deteriorated as a chain over the years - I would rather eat at a budget chicken shop (probably get better food!)

Very poor KFC, only one of the two self service machines working and that one had no paper for a reciept. Ordered mayo and bbq sauce but they only had tomato or sweet chilli. Chips were undercooked, not really eadible. In the end waitrose do a great honey and 3 mustard sauce

Motorway services aren't glamorous and KFC on the way to football is just a case of getting whatever is convenient. As KFC's go, this was OK. Food was as expected. Service could have been a bit chirpier but there you go. We didn't have too long to wait and it filled a gap. Not bad!

We’ve finally surrendered....KFC at Corley you have succeeded in deterring us from ever eating here again. In fact, it was so bad we gave up at the ordering stage of this visit. For the last several times we’ve been the coffee machine has been broken, drinks we’ve wanted have been out of stock and now this time no chicken breast or corn on the cob!!!!

Chose the 3 piece meal at Corley North services. Usually a reliable choice, but today the chicken was a tad dry, and the coating overly crisp, as if it had been reheated. Fries were good. Staff interaction with customers was very good. Should have gone back in, but didn’t have time. I am confident the issue would have been rectified had I reported it. Not a big enough issue to stop me shopping there again.

I went to the services with some friends. The service was terrible it seemed nobody wanted to be there. My friend ordered chips however they did not give them to her in her order, when we went up and complained about this they told her if she wanted chips she’d have to pay extra even though she had already paid. On top of this they where out of 2 drinks and chicken as well. Extremely disappointed in this overall experience, and would recommend against going.

Stopped for a quick bite to eat on the way up north. Not the best KFC I’ve had but not the worst either. Chips were cold and the hot chicken wings looked like they had spent too long in the fryer. Not like we even visited at a busy time either.

OK. Bit of a wait whilst staff went about their own business. Plenty of seating available. Appeared reasonably clean.

Últimos dos paradas en un KFC hemos visto una mejora en el servicio, que sólo puede ser una buena cosa. Aquí en el servidor Corley era educado, hasta el punto y nos dieron nuestra orden justo. La zona de kfc estaba limpio y ordenado, con limpieza eficiente, otra ventaja.La comida, sin embargo, ha sido en un declive constantemente durante años. Una broma que solía KFC era un lugar vegetariano, ya que sin duda este pollo nunca había sido 'vivo'. Por desgracia, las bromas sobre mí ahora como su nuevo Nashville Caliente es espantosa y el nivel KFC poco mejor. Patatas fritas empapadas, mala calidad de pollo, salsa aguada - la única cosa es el revestimiento secreto Spicy, que, me atreveré, no es suficiente.

Slow service, friendly staff over cooked, dry chicken. Not the best KFC I've been to ! Don't want to say much more as I don't want to be too negative!

My husband had a Burger King and regretted it - it was more money than my zinger meal and a children's meal put together.

Food was lovely but the service was NOT ..... not enough staff and didn't finish my order before doing the next one . Had to ask for my coffee and can't believe only 2 tomato sauce left in KFC. Many people went to burger king

Had a zinger stacker burger meal, tasty, spicy fast food. Clean tables and rubbish removed promptly from communal dining area.

Perfect if you like stale chicken,cold chips and coffee made from floor sweepings. Absolutly disgusting

Not sure if this was the right side of the road or not but both have the KFC. Closed at 10:10pm when they still charge 24 hour prices. Rude staff shouting at us "We're closed" without even looking!

Stopped at the service station to get some lunch on my way from North to London. I thought KFC might be OK but I was wrong! Staff was just rude and the food was cold.

We stopped at the Corley services for a comfort break, fuel and a snack. I chose the KFC outlet and grabbed a Zinger. The staff were friendly and efficient, my Zinger burger was hot and tasty. Very good.

The chips where cold and the gravy tasted horrible, 1st time I've stopped here and for sure I won't be coming back

Cold chicken. Staff attitude stinks no apology and told me the chicken was supposed to be cold.... Even though the tub said caution very hot...

Stopped here during a long journey back from Suffolk, staff behind counter appeared as if they didn't want to be there, their attitude was as if they didn't want to be there, I think they had modelled themselves on Harry Enfields "Kevin The Teenager"

I asked for Zinger with extra mayo , what I got was a burger with a couple of pieces of lettuce , a very small squirt of mayo . Obviously the staff don't listen or its too much hassle for them - not impressed :-(

Opted for the take away services for the kids for the rest of journey from here on our way to Glasgow.Service was quick

I appreciate that the service you get at a KFC branch very much depends on who in particular is serving you. After a run of noticeably poor staff toward the end of last year, I posted a generally negative review. However, KFC seem to have picked themselves up and the staff so far this year seem to be a lot more on the ball. I'm getting what I order, the staff are communicative and competent, and I'm much more of a happy bunny with the overall experience. Long may it continue!

Cold fries and miserable staff, a big let down to KFC, the kids ate elsewhere that was much better. Just wished I joined them now. I won't be going back here for a meal.

Me and Becky stopped here for a quick bite to eat before travelling to Essex after a hard day at work.

Standard KFC. I had spicy wings. Quick service. Ample place to sit and eat in the food court. Lot of eateries nearby too if you have a change of mind.

It happens far too often at KFC that the server doesn't ask you what sides, dips and drink you want with your meal ev though they're included. Doesn't the POS system prompt them? Or are they on a bonus scheme for saving money by not giving you what you've paid for? We Brits too often baulk at asking for the missing items as we feel we're accusing them of defrauding us. Mind you, my experience of the KFC attitude when you do ask is that they seem to resent you spotting their attempts at fraud. Either way, there's a perfectly good little Waitrose nearby with first-rate staff, and they'll be feeding me from now on.
