KFC in Rotherham

Ordered our food through the drive through got to the pay window tried to use contactless twice kept declining so on the third time used chip and pin and it approved the payment and asked us to remove the card so we did but then the computer crashed so they couldn’t give us our food because they couldn’t see the receipt. I asked to speak to the manager and there response was “no payment no food” so I explained it said approved on the card machine and it was there computer what had crashed therefore the payment has already been authorised and she said “it’s been happening a lot today but I’m sorry nothing I can do unless you prove on your banking the payment has gone through” I explained my mother didn’t have online banking and she expected us to drive to a cash machine and get a statement bearing in mind there were no cash machines close and still wouldn’t give us our food bearing in mind it was a £3.95 order. Wouldn’t come back here again just so inconvenient and still allowing people to use there card even though they had been having trouble all day so she says.

Again order wrong, missing half of a full meal and 8 piece fillet box only had 5 pieces……won’t answer phone

Drive thru order wrong again! 10 piece original recipe bargain bucket made up 50% with strips. I've often found my order to be wrong but usually check the contents before leaving. Disappointed I didn't check today.

Cold and about 6 chips in each bag !! £27.99 for a boneless feast - avoid had it delivered missing pop and i must have been last drop off , couldnt eat it

Twice now we’ve been to the drive through and they’ve forgotten to give us our chicken wing order. Should have checked our order before we drove away after they’d forgotten last time but didn’t think and then came home to discover yet again the chicken wings hadn’t been put in. Wouldn’t mind but 1. They weren’t busy this time round, it’s not difficult to double check an order before sending it on it’s way and 2. It’s very frustrating paying for something and not receiving it on more than one occasion! Staff seem to be more interested in discussing what they all got up to at the weekend rather than checking the customers order. Lesson learnt, always check your order before you drive away!

Couldn’t believe what I was seeing No cares, all they want to serve is cars and Uber eats, the place is filthy inside and the staff are clueless. Food was terrible and cold. They should be ashamed of themselves

Waited for over 90minutes then cancelled the order as disabled so. Has no patients left. Recommend onyx fishbar next door

I Rate this review purely on one member of staff her name is Courtney she was sweeping n cleaning but nothing was too much trouble for her she frequently asked people who had been served and were seated if they needed anything such as straws and sauces she was pleasant friendly smiling and welcoming, well done Courtney you are truly an asset to this establishment and would go far in the hospitality trade. If I still ran my pub I would have offered you a job there and then.

It's kfc listen to the order put it in a bag can't be hard to get rite! Twice I went back twice is was wrong waste of money put it in the bin!! Seriously just go to retail world

Chicken is so dry must have lucked out with my chicken must have been old in the heat cupboard. And the fries i only got 14 pieces of fries in my meal what a joke when you pay almost £16 for two meals and you are getting this standard makes me sick

Staff either not wearing masks at all or wearing them around their necks not covering their mouth and nose so what’s the point? Our table had not been cleaned before we sat down there was still bits of food on the table and the chairs. Food either overcooked or stale as it was dry and hard. My burger had 3 very small old pieces of lettuce on it that were limp and going brown. I took my order over to my table and opened it all up to find out it was the wrong order so I took it back the counter where I was given the correct order only to witness a member of staff then try to give the wrong order to somebody else even though I had opened it all up! Disgusting! Even without the current Covid-19 situation this is unhygienic and unacceptable but especially now with everything that’s happening! We weren’t given serviettes so I had to go back up and ask, I wasn’t given the sauce I’d asked for when placing my order so had to go back up and ask and I weren’t given a fork for my beans so I had to go ask. I witnessed other people whose orders had been mixed up too. The place is is a sham. It needs closing down. AVOID!

Last minute, but was fresh as they had just opened. Always get the 10 piece family feast along with my forces discount.Very quick service

Every time we order from this store we either get poor quality food, less then we paid for or some other crap.Tonight we called for a drink, not an hard order ? But they even messed that up. Employ staff who are capable of doing what is a basic job !

Overcooked, greasy, discussing..avoid gave us serve cramps in the bowls..tasted like warmed up day before chicken.

I had a boneless bouquet in the day and during the night I was rushed into hospital with food poisoning.. I will never return there.

This is the worst kfc I have ever been in by far, I’ve been to lots btw, I’d like to nominate them for the most orders messed up award of the year, when you order a krushem they suddenly forget how to function and you have to go back and ask them to get it, I think they reheat a lot of the food as it tastes like my grandmas cleggy butt flaps, they seem like they toss it off for the money and whoever has the power to shut it down I advise you do so quickly as they are tarnishing the company’s reputation.

Tuesday is a swimming and a daughter treat and she asked to go KFC after been disappointed with Burger King Park Gate....So to pull up... No Card Facilities.....We drove from leisure centre to here and had drivers mirror smashed on the way to be greeted to this...So a walk to the ATMTo walk backKFC card doesn't work and I have not got my points...But we ordered , staff member has had a day like me but is very up beat , positive and deserves a heads up ...Ordered foodAnd wait...Got food and my day gets worse I threw my coffee over myself whilst sorting her meal went back for cloth and got a new coffee.. thank you...Food was HOT, and welcome and my daughter loved it that was all the visit was about. Treated like a human when getting ice cream and a pants day was really made betterThanks Joanne for all your help, frustration and being felt wanted as we had a good time and thanks KFC...A funny KFC , which either gets right or horribly wrong... today it's been a 5* and thanks guys...

Handy KFC within 5 min walk of Holiday Inn Express. Usual cheap, enjoyable food. Service good, would visit again.

Today I went back after my last visit 12 months ago to find no change is the poor quality. Food was cold, the gravy was like water.The staff are terrible, Think the oldest there was 21, the place filthy. The staff member who served me was dressed like tramp and his hand were dirty. This place needs reporting to food hygiene.

Order is never right, staff look so unhappy, when you go back to say things wrong you don't get an apology, hygiene issues. They really need to have mystery shoppers coming to this KFC ...

Ordered 2 x Stacker Zinga burgers. Chicken wasn't cooked properly, chips soggy. Also 1 person boneless bucket. Ended up in the bin!!

I just recently visited KFC with my friends through the drive through and we wanted to pay separately so we needed 3 separated orders, the women at the ordering machine was very rude when we asked for 3 separate orders and was very sharp in tone, after this we went to collect our drinks and a young girl gave a dirty look and said, out loud as she walked around the corner “spit in their drinks” I repeat this is disgusting behaviour and I am disappointed and disgusted that I heard that come out of her mouth. I will never be visiting there again.

Visited at 8om ish. Floor was filthy and slippy with grease. Visited the toilets and they were disgusting, poo on the toilet seat.. Tissue paper everywhere. Terrible.

I'd of given it 0 stars if it was an option, visited here tonight it was quiet busy, 15 minuite wait in drive through. Then they got the order wrong! Don't think they ever get it right at this KFC..

not impressed took kids for tea and there was no chicken ,no side orders and no crush ems the kids was not impressed at all not been since and do not intend on going either and plus every time ive been before that they always forget some of my order on drive through so i will not be going back

Me and my partner called for a quick meal after we had both been working long hours, the staff decided to clean with chemical stuff on the tables and mopping the floors whirls we was eating, this is bang out of order they was cleaning at 20:30 pm when they don’t close until 22:00 pm

this is a very busy store and often there is a long wait to be served through the drive thru. The food is usually fresh but of the few times ive been ive usually got something missing when i get home

The food was just ok and the place it’s self was filthy. There was food all over the floor and and other people’s empty food packets and trays piled up on tables. It seems to have too many young workers that don’t know how to manage it properly it’s a shame. We won’t be going back again to that kfc I’d rather drive longer and eat in a clean environment.

Typically you get what you pay for, how ever you have to expect a certain level of hygiene. I brought my boys for tea recently, although the food was fine on this occasion (on many occasions there has been need to complain about the standard of food) what did appall me on this occasion was seeing a staff member drop a serving utensil on the floor, and pick it up and carry on using it to pick up the chicken with! Not good service what so ever. On another note though, I must add I think it is very over priced for what it is. It is fast food and the fact it cost me over £30 for me and my 2 children food and drinks is extremely expensive

Wouldn't go again if they paid me. Chicken was disgusting and became ill after eating it. The place itself wasn't so clean either.

Rude assistant raced through the order spoke so quick and quiet I couldn't understand her fully then she acted like it was my fault been before but today was the last I can spend 15-00 elsewhere and get better food and service

Took my son for a quick KFC at Manvers on the weekend. We took our meal back to the car to eat before we made our way home.

Are staff paid minimum wage? Maybe a review of this would give some incentive to customer service .

Ordered food for me and my partner after waiting 45 minutes on the drive through finally got served took our meal home and surprise surprise our order was wrong same as all the other times I've visited KFC. I send an email and all they say is we do apologise and will continue to try improving there services. Drinks were flat and full of ants! Asked for a piece of chicken got two hot wings ! Last time I'll ever visit and will not recommend to anyone in future

This has got to be the worse KFC that I've ever been to.

We regularly get a takeaway from here and it's generally ok. My wife loves the gravy so usually get at least 1 large tub which isn't cheap, but 50% of the time they give me 2 small tubs. Whichever way you look at it 2 small tubs doesn't equal 1 large!!! On the last visit the 4 small tubs I got instead of 2 large were only half full!!! I don't usually complain but I felt compelled to and on speaking to the "manager" I was advised that they were running out of gravy and stretching it out!! Brilliant, and no one thought to mention this when I ordered?? On the positive side we did get a free replacement 2 days later with 2 very full large tubs!! Beware of the 2 small for large...

Always busy inside and drive through. Never had any major problems with orders, if you are doing the drive though and your waiting for your meal, they ask you to pull in to the pick up point and will bring your meal over.

Another visit here ruined.Each time we have called here the staff have got our order wrong.Some of them are so rude.Also an international company like this you would think the staff would wear hair nets.Female staff with long hair going all over..Toilets werent clean.Another customer complained too.Kfc Manvers is the worse one we have been in.

What is happening to KFC. Just visited. The place was filthy. The service was terrible and the food was really bad.

Been a few times, counter staff have always been polite. Always had to wait for food even when it's not busy but dint mind too much as food as always been lovely. Could do with counters and tables cleaning more regularly as they're always sticky.

I dont usually review Fast Food but this KFC was today Exceptional, Busy but quick service, food served hot, friendly staff and the KFC coating was light, crisp, golden and VERY tastey.

I personally am not a lover of fast food, such as Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonalds or Burger King.

Will not be going there again. Helpful counter staff but was sadly let down by what I believe was the manageress. I only questioned why I had been waiting nearly 25 minutes for my order. When I asked to speak to the manager a women came and simply said WHAT! I mentioned that I'd been stood a long time and wanted to know what the issue was. At that point she walked away without saying a word, went behind a glass counter and started throwing sandwiches around. Looks like this branch of KFC really only wants drive thru customers. The food kept being placed in the cabinets but there wasn't enough to service the customers waiting inside. By the way DON'T BOTHER reporting an issue on the KFC website as they didn't bother emailing me back and likely will not you. KFC Manvers nil pois

Great service really friendly staff food hot and fresh much improved since my last visit x served really quickly

Great location. good staff and did really enjoy our lunch. The group of 7 including kids were very hungry. Got prompt service and also good food

We used the drive through and found everyone really helpful. Order was correct and food warm. Usually go inside to order but find the restaurant a little bit chaotic and tables not always clean.

Called for drive through and poor menu display. Chicken was soggy, chips cold and chewy and popcorn chicken soggy. Crap.

I found the food expensive, and bland, I felt that the food was thrown at me and as for eating in I have never been in a place that looked so filthy, I decided to eat the food in the car!

Very average as K F C goes, hassled staff, long waiting times at drive through. Chicken always greasy. There's better.

Been once wouldn't go in again to eat in, the place was filthy and food was expensive for what you got, I'd rather go across to subway!

Been here a few times, unfortunately every time we've ended up waiting a while for food (understandable when there's a queue, but this has been regardless of how busy it is), staff don't seem particularly happy (maybe fore good reason?) I'd say that around 70% of the time they either get an order wrong or miss something off completely - even though we place "Standard" orders (No special requests such as plain, no mayo etc).

Not the best but certainly not the worst some staff need to learn to smile bit slow on service at times but tables always free and clean

Having both a drive through and a sit in eatery this is just your average type. It does get busy at peak periods and its food is of its type. I sometime get a craving for fried chicken so it does but I have found its fries sometimes can be tepid. Which is why I have started looking into alternatives when am in the area. Once turned up just for a coffee to the drive through and got the impression that startled the staff.
