KFC in Cheshire West and Chester

Bit disappointed in this KFC to be honest, on numerous occasions I’ve visited here and it just seems each time the oil is well due a change. The chicken it’s not golden, more dark brown, and food has been cold, when complained fresh food was was given but I’d say 9 times out of 10 when ordering to takeaway it’s awful. Also why? Why have KFC stopped cooking the corn on the cob in butter?? The corn is tasteless and now very disappointing. Because it is the only KFC in the area and as a family we do like a KFC we will still from time to time order from here, and I’ll keep complaining about the state of the chicken covering, will take it further if it continues.

Came today through the drive through part of the store and as someone who has KFC pretty often I was pleasantly surprised at how quick the service was. No wait for my food which was great other KFC have had very long waiting periods

Fantastic filled me up great staff great served me quick tho it was quiet nice warm to toilets great handryer hot dud me to a tee

My husband and I have visited this KFC on a number of occasions and can highly recommend it. Mirabella is so helpful and very pleasant.

Mirrabella was very nasty rude she had a go at my Fiance this upset me she also lied out Food Poisonning in KFC wasn't true this is disgusting we don't ever ever eat their again food crap service slow restaurant was cold music to loud while we were chatting she interfered poking her nose in Regards John Paula .

food was good , tasty chicken with some succulent gravy that really tickled my tasted buds it’s a shame one of the staff members had to knock off a star as they were very rude ( her name was bella)

An average of 2 out of 5 should tell you all you need to know, except that grade is probably flattering. Why? Dirty. Poorly trained Staff. Seldom have more than half the menu available. Ignore KFC Corporate deals and offers. Drive thru Orders short on more then one occasion. Unable to pack a bag.

This is by no means your usual KFC. We received a wrong order, they missed out my daughters meal. The staff are rude and have zero manners. They have not been taught to use the word please or thank you. The food is not KFC standard and is all soggy. We will not return

Everything cold, bun so hard you could knock a nail in with it. Hot wing shrivelled to nothing. Consistently bad. Only revisited in the hope that it was a one-off previously

Tonight the 27th of February, my friend and I visited this restaurant on our way home from town... we were told there was gravy , but only large upon trying to order our box meals, with gravy as a side.... to be told our only option was to share a large or choose a different side... I couldn't actually believe what I was being told, share a tub of gravy because we don't have small tubs for regular Why would any fast food think that they could give this as the only option is madness and disgusting, when it's there problem not the customer... It got worse, I requested to speak to the manager, who eventually came and was so rude and abrupt about the issue I was trying to explain, I explained that he should be offering large out regardless, he took no responsibility and blamed the supplier, and walked away, his finally words was "in a bit" How unprofessinal is that.. KFC is a multi million pound company, that could more than afford to offer out the large gravy as that would be the only way to resolve the issue, I work in hospitality and would never expect anyone to make that's sort of outrages decision, and speak and act the way this male manager did this evening! I will never return or recommend this restaurant

Went through the drive through, bill came to £15, presented my app tokens. They took the £5 token, the side token, and the fries token off my app, but not off the bill, and took the £15 out of my bank. The food was soaked in grease, undercooked, and not very hot, the fries were inedible. When I went back next day to complain, the manager, a surley individual, reluctantly gave me my £5 back, but no apologies, no reasons, and definitely no friendliness. Have they done this to other customers and gotten away with it? At £5 a pop, very nice source of extra cash.

I don`t live locally to this place but have been in three times in the last six months. On all three occasions they have claimed to have no hot drinks due to a machine breakdown. Totally unacceptable for a multi national franchise establishment who should have engineers on speed dial for such events, especially in the colder months. Dreadful, unapologetic staff who are scruffy and cannot keep their hands away from their faces. I believe that all food outlets will be subject to blips from time to time and so should be given a little leeway but........THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN AND RE BOOTED.

So this review is based from my past 2 experiences both within a week of each other. The first time was Monday, I ordered food and less than half of it arrived (we literally were missing a zinger burger, 2 snack wraps, a portion of gravy and 2 hot wings) and I attempted to call a grand total of 10 times before realising it was probably in vain. Skip to today 3 days later when my girlfriend wanted to get food and we decided to try KFC again, this time we wait an hour and 36 minutes to receive an order missing chicken fillets, a snack wrap, 2 portions of fries and 2 portions of mash (practically the entire festive bucket). Quite sad I’ve had to resort to this but after having no response to phones calls over the course of 3 days of attempts this is where it’s at. They claim to not be able to do anything when ordered via a delivery service but can it really be blamed on the driver when it’s a repeating occurrence and then there is just random items like Coleslaw added instead? I’d appreciate a response or an answer to a phone call because this is now close to £30 worth of food that hasn’t arrived.

On visiting KFC with my partner and daughter I found the place clean, the staff helpful and polite, and the food good as always. My personal favourite on the menu is the zinger salad and it was tasty and filling and we will definitely be back :)

Firstly , we had to wait to speak to someone over the intercom for 5mins with no car in front or signs of the branch being busy. The litter while going through the drive throug was everywhere, the member of staff that took our money didn’t have a uniform on and looked like he needed some lessons in manners. When we eventually got our food we wanted sauce and was told it was 30p per sauce extra. Our buns were stale , my zinger burger was thrown together with no care. My partners burger was cold and both our chips were re heated and soggy . Our drinks were full with ice and hardly any Fanta . We usually love a kfc but coming here has seriously tainted us and put us off ever visiting again , more staff training . They also need to hire a cleaner to keep outside tidy . As the bins were over flowing the seagulls were flapping about everywhere which is something you do not want to see . I would avoid and go to a different branch if you want finger lickin chicken . If it carries on I doubt that branch will survive

Absolutely disgusted. We have visited many food places to grab food for our Friday dinner treat never had we had a problem. First the man on till was lovely he put the order through correctly for takeout. Staff packed it for eating in then realised their mistake and started to bag. The chips had been sat out for a bit while they faffed about then the lady behind the counter poured them into a bag upside down so they all fell into the bag. I said that that wasn't going to be good for 4 of us and her cocky (said because of her bad attitude) reply was "What do you want me to do, so you want fresh fries?" I said I didn't say that I just said I didn't think it was good throwing 4 people's fries in one bag. She said "So you want fresh fries" Put them down on the counter and said you'll have to wait for fries there is none ready. Then they were trying to pack the order still and it was like a night at the circus. The manager blamed the lad on the till and had a go at him. He eventually told him to repack the order because he had tried several times and kept getting confused. The man just took it all out and used the receipts to count it all back in the bag. We thanked him for sorting it out. But when I next order food it won't be at KFC Greyhound Chester

Nipped in for a quick tea. The guy who took our order needs to find a personality. The gent handing out the orders who seemed to be the manager as he was the only one wearing a shirt had a poor attitude. Our food was on the side going cold for about 3 minutes before it was handed over to us. This was also after being told that the order wasn't in fact ours but turns out it was. we then weren't offered any ketchups or other sauces. My partner ordered a soft drink of blackcurrant as she is pregnant as was given a Tango. Food was good but service rubbish.

Every time I’ve been they have never had the gravy as the sides, there always seems to be issues with the card machines being down through the drive through. And always take Ages to answer on the intercom to take your order

Don't understand the reviews for this site. Granted, only used the drive thru but staff were great, wait time was good and food delicious. Did nt know why but the chips were much nicer and tasted different than in other KFC restaurants.

Visited today at lunch time. A short que in front of me. As I looked around alot of tables had food left on them and all the packaging from last customers. It was in that state because the bins were overflowi g. Had a short wait for fresh chicken to be cooked, not a problem. Food was hot and ok.

Visited on Sunday night at 7.30pm. Staff was asleep I think as she didn't even say hello. half way through my order she was distracted by some thing then remembered she was serving. We got our food fairly quickly but the Chips were under the lights that long they were just warm. We had to try a few tables as most of them were not clean even at that time of night. Think Management need to get a grip as We have been here before but the staff were the same, they lose interest in serving.

The majority of the staff are very friendly and service is normally fairly quick, even when it isn't it is clear that staff are trying their best and not just standing around. Is everything always perfect? No, but they are very accommodating and attempt to fix the problem if you tell them about it.

Don’t attempt to use the drive thru if you have a reasonable sized car, my mid size suv was too big for the system to detect according to the internationally standard rude manager. Order was wrong and promised discount not forth coming either. Front door also broken. Very poor experience and then get home to find the order is also wrong.

Obviously popular at lunchtime but fast service despite a queue. It is next to a new Lidl with a big car park but it can be a pain to get out of if busy. It is best parking opposite by Argos to get back out onto Sealand Road etc.

Absolutely shocking! I waited to be served for 12 mins then a further 13 mins awaiting in the collection area for 3 items, the staff looked miserable especially the girl at the drinks area. There was a Q nearly to the door with 1 till on. Never again!

We ordered food at 14.36 and were finally served at 15.03, and we still had food that looked like it had been thrown together! It will be the first and last time we eat at this place, the manager was hiding in the back despite saying he was 4 staff down, so not exactly helping his subordinates. If you like waiting half an hour for limp and cold fries, and a burger that looks like road kill, then this is the place for you! Otherwise it seems that however bad McDonalds can be, this place is worse. GO TO GREGGS.

Out shopping and visited this KFC outlet in Sealand, very long queue for the one order point open, tables dirty. When ordering meal told couldn’t have hot drink, when questioned as no mention on menu board told machine not working. Then had to in another queue to collect meal. Had to clean own table to use. Numerous people going back as order wrong or something missing.

Never ever usually do this but i feel it is necessarry. visit this kfc on a regular basis, never usually any problems except they NEVER have any gravy. Except, the last time i came they had ran out of burgers and popcorn chicken, no signs anywhere to tell anybody before waiting in the cue for 10 minutes. not even an apology at the till the girl just didn’t care, she looked like a new member of staff as i’ve never seen her before, as she was telling me there was no food, she was more interested in what the person on the other till was doing and sniggering under her breath. I work in customer service myself and no way would i be this rude. in the end i decided to leave without ordering food, still no apology. They definitely need some sort of training and a new manager. the place is horrendous and definitely won’t be returning!

First of all i went through the drive through they forgot the southern bites in my bite box meal so I went in and told them what i thought of there customer service , chips r cold hard and disgusting and burger is hardly edible the chicken is dry & cold also the bun is hard and the staff deserve 1% effort for there presentation how on earth has this place managed to stay open so long I don't know. The staff are rude and this was a complete waste of money last time I go there again they've lost my custom

Visited here yesterday and it disgraceful how dirty it was, my husband had to remove food from his chair before we sat down, the bins were overflowing non of the tables were clean , the floor hadn't been swept , it just felt grubby.

Stopped off for a quick takeaway tea with my daughter. Stood for 10 minutes only one in the place . 5 or 6 girls standing chatting and on their phones. Saw that we were waiting and didn't bother. Took a photo which broke up the huddle arrive manger and refused to serve .. no problems . Not good enough

I have never entered such a dirty eating establishment before. This was not just the detritus of the day but ingrained, accumulated dirt. Everything was greasy and gritty and grimy.

Surprised as there was no queue in the drive through. Should've been more suspicious. Ordered food okay and wanted a lemonade. They didn't have any. Only Pepsi and tango. Don't like either so I asked for a hot drink. They didn't have any hot drinks ???? Had to go with Pepsi. When I did collect my food, the smallest bag of chips I've ever seen. Wasn't even filled up. I asked if this was a normal serving and got a shugged shoulder response.

Bitterly cold day yesterday 17.3:18 suggested to the wife that we should have an early lunch to warm up,asked for 2 meals & a tea & a Latte,the assistant looked shocked at my request for hot drinks & were told there was only cold drinks.

Called in Sealand Road for tea with my daughter and ordered our food. There was no queue for once and were served fairly quickly. When we began to eat the food the chips were only just warm and the chicken bites in barbecue sauce were cold. My daughter took them back to be told the sauce is cold and there was nothing they could do. I then took them back myself and I said "I know the sauce is cold but the chicken shouldn't be" to be told by staff member Emily that there's nothing we can do. I stood there and said again the chicken is cold, she shrugged her shoulders and said through gritted teeth i can get you some fresh ones, she then stormed off around the back telling other staff members I was complaining they were cold. She did replace them and they were a lot warmer. She obviously doesn't give a damn about the customers she serves and it's people like me that keep her in a job. I think she could do with a few weeks training on good customer service practice, as she clearly hasn't had any or just really hates her job. I won't be going back there again to be given such poor service from staff that don't really give a damn.

Went for a treat didn't have hot drinks which was a shame as it was cold outside, it was clean and quick the meal was lovely and they had gravy even though the sign on the door said they hadn't. Very drafty on a cold day especially when the door is opening.

This was our second visit, the first being not long after it opened which was bad and we chalked it down to them only recently opening. However they set the bar low and have managed to maintain that consistency so well done on that front. Last night the service was up to the same lack lustre experience as last time, we were informed that they were out of zinger burgers, which is pretty amazing as I've seen the advert where someone lovingly bangs some chicken legs together so found that interesting that a chicken restaurant essentially had no chicken.. we ordered something they had and 12 minutes later it arrived. Hmmm fast food it wasnt. They ended up closing the restaurant due to a failed delivery and various mechanical breakdowns but that just appeared to compound a bad problem. Will never eat there again.

We went originally when this KFC first opened and were shocked at the poor service then. Fast forward until now and it really hasn't improved at all!

Can't believe how bad service was in KFC on sealand road. 1 member of staff (Emma) who didn't give a crap about her job and seemed bored even with a queue half way to the door and the bins overflowing and rubbish left on the tables and 1 member of staff (Evan) was really friendly came out to make the floor look clean again and whilst 4 members of staff sorted 1 order which still missed items off my order, after all the times I've been here I was very disappointed and won't be returning anytime soon

Seemed to be plenty of staff… just seemed poorly organised/trained. Was in there for about an hour and not one person came out to clear tables.. 50 percent of the tables were unusable due to waste on them… because all the bins were over flowing… POOR MANAGEMENT

I know a mnimum of IQ is required to work here but please train the staff to not overfill the drinks so it completely leaks out all over ya clothes. Plus food was cold

Having been to KFC sealand road chester, ordered food and went to find a clean table to eat it. everywhere wos dirty.complained but wos told short of staff.food all over the tables and floor and aways bins full.disgusting place .I don't no why they get away with it.it needs a health inspector round.

Me and my girlfriend visited KFC tonight after work, went through the drive thru, the lad i spoke to was very polite but seemed to get everything wrong. was given my order straight away (almost too quickly). got home to find half the food was missing. he had got the drinks wrong. no napkins or salt in the bag. the worst part though is that the fillet burger was completely stale, to the point where i could use the bun as a hammer! was really looking forward to a nice fresh kfc but i feel as though i got given something that had been left on the shelf for hours, not only that but they gave me a normal fillet burger instead of the tower burger i ordered. the chicken wasnt much better (rock hard). tried ringing the restaurant 3 times to complain but no answer.

The first time I visited this place I sat in the drive thru and waited several minutes for a response to order food and nothing happened. I drove to the next window and observed staff messing about and throwing items around the kitchen area at one another. The place was newly opened at that time and looked empty. Needless to say, I drove away. Today, I decided to put my previous experience behind me and try again. We queued for far longer than you would consider reasonable and when I eventually got to the order point, low and behold NO RESPONSE! I sat there shouting into the speaker box to absolutely no avail. Again, an absolute waste of time and space. Still, my Chicken Select meal from *McDONALDS* was delicious, and, the service very efficient. This dump can shove it!

Visited one lunch time,found the staff polite and friendly,ordered chicken meals which came quickly and were nice and tasty,only down side was that I felt the portions were small and it was a little expensive.

I absolutely love KFC but unfortunately this restaurant in Chester is aweful. The food is so greasy it's just not edible. I had the 6 piece family bucket. Every piece of chicken was smothered in grease. It was a real mess. Defo won't be back here in a hurry. Not doing the KFC brand name anygood.

Been through the drive through three times. And each time when we arrive home the order is wrong.

We've been here before when it hadn't long been opened and put that visit down to everyone and everything being new, even though it was very dirty then. We thought we'd give it another go as has been a while. Unfortunately, this visit was not much better for a few different reasons. It appeared a little (only a little) cleaner as the floors weren't so bad but still not great. I didn't visit the toilets so can can't comment on those. The service wasn't awful but a little slow and not enough staff serving for a Sunday lunchtime. The drive thru appeared very busy and why the inside service probably suffered.

Dirty tables. Dirty floors. Miserable staff. Don't go. No cutlery out. No serviette. Manager rude as usually. Cheshire Oakes so much better.

Unlike any other KFC I have visited this restaurant sells unpalatable cold greasy chicken, recently the chicken was raw inside!! and the chips are little better !

I ordered 5 chicken pieces and chips. The chips were in a very small packet and the chicken pieces were of a god size but tasted horrible, they were really salty. The tables were dirty and littered with bits of food, the seats had spots of sauce on the backs and needed a good wipe down with a clean cloth. We ordered BBQ sauce but this didn't arrive we were given sachets instead. All in all it was an expensive and very disappointing experience.

Went there last Friday to the drive through. The 1st window had a notice to order on next window . Was met by an extremely unpleasant member of staff who told me I should have ordered at last window . When I explained what it said on last window he said nothing but processed my order minus the drinks we had ordered and paid for. By then couldn't be bothered but won't be going back x

We took our 2 year old granddaughter for lunch - it wasn't planned! We should have turned around as we saw tables where not cleared when we entered and where we sat the bin by are table was full. The guy that served us was indifferent and awkward! The meal arrived with fries all over the bag and poorly presented and had a disappointing kids meal.

We called in today after shopping, they charged for large meals which we didn't order, never offered refund only swapped our drink for large, fillet burger was cold, far too much sauce it dropped everywhere when you tried to eat burger, fries were cold and tasteless, definitely will not be going back !!!!!

Mmmm what can I say, ordered a bucket was horrendously greasy, the tables where filthy, KFC just employ from my experience kids who are wet behind the ears and still think there at school, no pride in there job or resteraunt as if they actually don't want to be there and it's a hassle to them having customers. I think the whole KFC chain needs a big shake up, will only go again if desperate.

Visited this KFC for the first time. It was quite busy but tables were clear, floors were clean and the food was fresh and piping hot. Staff were pleasant and efficient and the whole place had a bit more character to it than the usual 'all the same' look about it. Definitely visit again.

The Woman at the till sounded soooo depressed and quiet and saying what all the time, and didn't know how change a drink to another fries, as im a motorcyclist taking out, how do i carry a drink??? plus there horrible anyway, but it took her like 10mins to understand i was on a bike, just really lousy and non energetic, so i felt like a idiot ordering, then manager came and made a joke saying 2 cokes it is im like WHAT ! as i already payed i dont want 1 coke idk why id want 2 , so i literally panicked, then the food....... Burnt....... for chester i expect high stardards even wrexham has much better food and staff. not visiting again

This had to be the Slowest drive through ever 30 mins in and no food or escape route. I think I may have even developed grey hairs while i waited.

I had the best experiience in this KFC than any other KFC. It was clean, fast the food was hot and the staff were very friendly. The female manager on last night by the looks of things was hard working and kept the staff motivated and they were all happy. I have been in some KFCS before and staff have been miserable but lst night they were all happy and that will be a great thing for customers as it was for me. the chicken was cooked really well and i cant wait to go back :)

We have been here 3 times over the past 4 weeks due to convenience and each time have found the table to be dirty and the bin by the door over-flowing. We always carry wipes with us anyway and have had to use these to clean the tables.

Last week I've ordered the wicked variety bucket and extra hot wings via drive thru, when I came back home I realised they forgot to put extra hot wings in my bag! I was annoyed but couldn't be asked to do anything about it.

Went here today after shopping at greyhound retail park food was cold and had to be sent back twice as was also not what we ordered no crushems or ice cream available. staff not friendly or polite paid £15 and binned the lot never again!!!!

I went with my husband and 3 children on Sunday around 4.00pm. Upon arriving it wasn't really that busy however there were at least 5 or 6 dirty tables littered with left over food. I did think at this point why do people not clear their tables as we always do, but upon leaving I realised that the bin was overflowing so we too could not clear our table. The past couple of times We have been they always seem slow and we are waiting around for food which seems odd when the place is not backed up to the door with customers. I don't know what it is about this KFC but lack of leadership must be up there, no one seems on it, it's got a lack lustre feel. Think we will go to the Cheshire Oaks one next time until Chester can sort out their issues.

I frequent this restaurant every week and I have only just recently noticed how downhill it has gone. I ordered my food and noticed whilst it were being served that some staff were mixing drinks from preused cups that were left aside. Also they were not fully stocked on the Kream ball lids as I had an ice cream with just the bowl and no lid. My mother asked for a scratch card and it looked like it had already been scratched and it was expired.
