Kfc in Kingston upon Hull, City of

I am a manger in the same profession , I vaped not realising you could not , I was asked not to smoke , to which I replied I was not smoking I was vaping which I was told to go to another desk and I was been reimbursed by Josh your manager as he said I was arguing which I was not all he had to say was it is not companypoLicy not to vape ,( nothing in there signposted to say otherwise)I asked why when I had only corrected him he got very vocal I have worked on customer service for over 20 years and if this is how you train your staff for a late night venue I feel you may need to look at this issue ? He said he would be reimbursing me because apparently I had argued with him when I only corrected him, I said I would be complaining and the fact he and another of staff stood there laughing is a disgrace and not acceptable it is irrelevant wether you are an daytime customer or night your staff should all bee trained the same , if you wish me to come in have a face to face meeting with higher management with Josh, i am more than happy too because if you think this individual is a represent of your company you are seriously deluded

Came for lunch with my family, the friendly staff gave my little one some crayons and a picture to colour while we ate. Restaurant was clean and food was nice. Will definitely return

Extremely friendly staff. Products all pipping hot and very tasty. Great location for a quick meal. Restaurant was very clean and plenty of seating option

This place needs alot of improvement. I hope the manager/clothes reads my reviews and aim at improving the deficiencies. - Tables are not clean. Often you can feel the stickiness on the. - Chicken pieces given especially for meal deals are very small and make no sense with the price. - Ample of Indian staff standing at the reception but they are not interested in cleaning the place. At times I have cleaned tables to make space for my food. - Please whoever is the head/manager should focus and get the things corrected. - If food is not served hot, chicken pieces are the smallest then I will make a formal complain to Head office in the UK/USA. I hope this review will be taken positively and deficiencies focused more seriously.

Cold food, the smallest of chicken pieces.no receipt with order.staff indifferent. The place was quite empty for the time of day. Great location, shame , i predict closure.

Very bad service. Before me, a woman asked for sauce and she was given it, but I was with a small child and they only gave us hot sauces which I don't use and which should not be given to a small child and when I asked to give us BBQ sauce, the KFC employee angrily and disrespectfully answered "NO ". Also, I was cheated because they didn't give me everything I ordered. I do not recommend anyone to visit this restaurant in Hull because it is dirty (the tables and the floor are dirty), very bad service, disrespect from the employees who serve customers (14/02/2024) and cheating.😡😡😡😡😡😡

On ordering my meal for 2 on the self service machine i was told on collection certain items were not available. Staff were not interested. On arriving home, items missing. Also warm coke. I was one of 3 people in there and now i can see why. No offer of refund or explanation. Staff training is needed desperately in dealing with the public.

Sick and tired of this KFC, never get order right on a number of occasions!!! We live out of the area so long trip to take back. Given them the benefit of the doubt a number of times, always wrong! Staff too busy chatting amongst themselves to concentrate on the order. Vote with my feet this time , unhappy customers ! 😡

Just about the worst eating experience ever! The restaurant was dirty, the toilets were dirty. The staff said it’s dirty because we’re short staffed - also the excuse given for no soap in the toilets and no sanitiser - but you serve food, there is no excuse! Chips were awful - staff said “yeh the chips aren’t great here!” There other places round the corner serving similar food and putting more effort into looking after customers, so probably best to try there first.

Looked forward to visiting Hull and KFC but it was awful. I used the ordering machine and successfully added and paid for two ice cream sundaes along with two meals. No receipts provided and the customer in front of me informed the staff of this. When I went to collect the food I was told no ice cream sundaes but was offered cookies instead which I turned down and requested a refund. Told no refund because I couldn’t produce a receipt. The food given was good but two other items were missing, later provided when I went back to the till. My latte was less than half full. I love KFC normally. Never had an experience like this with any other branch in the UK and I travel a lot.

We took a 2 and a half hour bus ride to Hull to try this KFC and were thoroughly disgusted by what we found. The food was given to us with no napkins/wipes, no spoons/forks to eat our side dishes with and no straws to drink our drinks with. When I got it back to the table I found it was flat cold so I took it back and told them. To their credit the staff took it from me and gave me fresh chips but just left the other food under the hot lamps for the 60 seconds it took to give me the chips. It was still just as cold but by this time I was furious and I did not want to cause a scene so just decided to leave. However, I needed to use the loo but when I went inside I wished I had not bothered. The toilet had not been flushed after what seemed like several users and it would not flush when I tried it several times. These toilets are obviously never checked in line with Environmental Health Policy and the Environmental Health Departmemt need to take away any rating that was ever given to this establishment. To be fair it is not the staff's fault. They need better management and instruction. How I wish I had read the reviews before we left. home. After the 2 and a half hour bus trip home we decided we would never visit again.

2 for the food only, place is an absolute hovel. Came in at 6pm, pretty quiet but litter and dirty tables everywhere. Been in 20 mins so far and no one has come to clean up. Pretty depressing surroundings, will avoid in future

If I had never been to a KFC before, visiting this place would ensure KFC never had my custom again. Had it not been for the freezing cold weather and fed up of trying to find a decent eatery in the city centre, we would have by-passed it. Our meals were a mix of hot and cold; fries were barely warm, the chicken pieces had at least, been shown some heat. Most tables were covered in the food remains of previous eaters and looked like they hadn't been visited by a member of staff all day. The toilets were locked and if you wanted access, had to ask a member of staff to enter a keycode, which left the disabled toilets the only ones available - if you dare!! The main lock for the door was broken and falling off, and the only thing securing it, was a small bolt fastening. The toilet itself had a flush handle which was falling off, and needed holding in order for it to operate. Washing facilities were pathetic. Turning on the hot water, the temperature went from 0 to scalding in seconds. There were no hand drying facilities, nor any toilet paper. This area, again, appeared not to have seen a member of staff all day. In a word, it STANK!!! Having waited - and ignored - at the servery counter, we took our chances at a self-ordering machine. Not the easiest to fathom out and very confusing for a first time purchaser on one. All in all, our visit was a case of - eat and get out fast!! The only suitable outcome for this "restaurant" would be for the Public Health Inspectors to close it down. Eat there at your peril...!!! I have had to rate this place as a 1* only because, not rating it, wouldn't allow me to place a review.

I ordered a food delivery. KFC brought me the food but from other customer (wrong delivery). I called them, but they didn't want to come back with my food to my place. I had to go to the KFC restaurant walking around 40 minutes. Once there, they didn't want to give me my money back. They, KFC, made the mistake, not the driver, and not me. They should have resolved the issue and come to my home with the right delivery. Young people in the restaurant had no idea what to do. They called his/her manager, and this one gave to them a simple phone number for me to call them another day, but not today. disgusting services. Honestly, I felt very humiliated, I will never make an order again or visit the restaurant. I felt very humiliated.

An all time low. Nice premises but that's as afar as it goes ! Totally disinterested staff. They do not even answer questions! Seriously- worst experience in a long long time, possibly ever? U know who you are - 15.20 on Thursday June 4th ! Food was good bit the overall experience was dire! Not even organised chaos, just chaos! Portion of chips was a joke- so small!

Toilet not maintained they only have 1 disabled toilet open for customer use. The restaurant is filthy, not enough staff to maintain hygiene, take your own antibacterial wipes for the tables. The staff are not bothered by it. The food is passable, think people only go there because Macdonald's is always full.

Not very impressed at all with this place. Staff friendly and helpful enough, but the place was not very clean and there was a pigeon hopping around the floor, eating scraps! The door to the toilets downstairs was locked, although it did have a notice saying if Disabled toilet was unavailable, staff would unlock the door. The disabled toilet was disgusting! The lock on the door was broken, so you were unsure if you were ok to be in there without the fear of somebody coming in! Also, the toilet roll holder fell off the wall as I was getting some loo roll! It will be a long time before I visit there again, if ever!

U should know that kfc is a fast food brand not ask customers to wait 10 mins after 10 mins! And I only order for the hot wings!

Got hot wings from this KFC and where just standard Chivenor wings not KFC ones. The popcorn tasted like the frozen type from aldi. Beware this KFC is using the name but is just a chicken shop.

Never been In this kfc before but grandkids won ,I was out voted . Distancing in place but took a long time to get served . Not that many in. Thought I would get a table but they were full of rubbish and the floor was disgusting. Now I’m not blaming the staff . Don’t think they had enough . Did get someone’s attention and it was cleared up quickly but didn’t clean the floor. They just didn’t have time. I did get my wipes out to go over the table again.Food was great but couldn’t wait to get out. The only table cleaned was the one nearest the door for the toilets . Not ideal.

We came here after work for a quick bite to eat before going to the nearby Bonus arena. Service was slow, even though very quiet and no hot drinks other than tea available, no pepsi in bottles, just diet which we didnt want. Chicken was hot, sides were okay but chips luke Warm and tasteless ( and i usually love them from others in the chain). If we come again, will order something different. Disappointed.

The power of advertising got me in for the fill me up lunch deal- it didnt fill me up and was expensive for the tiny portions that u get !!! Very smart premises but...... food was all cold, coffee overfilled to point of silliness ! Very poor!!! Toilets in basement and unisex- didnt like that either !

This branch of KFC is about a two minute walk from the main station in Hull. It is clean and attractively decorated for those who want to eat in. The service was friendly and efficient. I went on a Tuesday and had a bargain bucket (not the most attractive of names but accurate!) For £5.99, I had nine pieces of chicken, with a good mixture of legs, thighs and breast meat. The chicken was tasty and the white meat was moist. I was offered two large sides for an additional £2.50, which I declined.
