Chicken wasnt fresh and was way too greasy and oily. Almost vomitted while eating it. I would not overall recommend eating here.

Visited today. Thought it was closed as car park empty and inside too. People obviously weren't as stupid as I was and had gone elsewhere. Ordering easy via screens. Can't believe how expensive KFC is now... 3 meals and 2 extra hot wings came to just over £30. I don't mind paying that if the quality was good however, but this wasn't. Ordered takeaway, but when I got home I wish I hadn't as at least I could have took it back. The drinks were flat, my tower burger looked like it had literally been chucked together and then chucked a bit more and my regular fries had 6 chips in it (they hadn't fell out in the bag as they were all in individual bags). The chicken in the burger was hard and where have the boxes gone for the box meals...they were all in bags. Really really poor and for the price was atrocious. I get that a lot of KFC are franchised, so I won't tar them all with the same brush, but I won't be using this one again...no wonder it was empty.

This is worst food I have eaten as compare to other branches. My food was burnt and cold . Never recommend this branch to anyone and never visit and oder food from here . Even little bit sauce inside and worst taste. Your staff don’t know how to make food unprofessional. Kept some professional staff

Worst KFC I’ve ever been to. I keep giving it a chance due to the proximity to where I live, but it gets worse and worse each time. Today’s fiasco involved me waiting 30 minutes to place an order due to wanting to pay cash. The staff ignored me even when I politely tried to get their attention they informed me that I would have to wait as they were all trying to get orders out. Yet people were still being allowed to order at the kiosks whilst I was left to wait. Finally I had enough and left.

Will never visit this restaurant again. Arrived with my son in the snow to a filthy dirty seating area with rubbish and food over tables and seats, I ordered a 2 Zinger tower box meals and asked for the 1 piece chicken to be breast pieces as that’s all me and me son eat to be told one of us could have a breast and one of us could not, when I asked the member of staff to get the manager she walked off and came back and said the manager said no and please leave the restaurant if you are not happy as we are busy , I was shocked and angry , at that I just walked out , disgusted to be treated this way .

Though the food was good at the front of the restaurant a male member of staff in a grey shirt was shouting at a female member of staff very loudly. I found him to be very aggressive towards the poor lady. Not something you want your kids to see on a Saturday at lunchtime.

I ordered a Mighty Bucket For One and requested a Leg and a Breast for the 2 pcs, however when I arrived home I discovered they had given me 2 Thighs instead. Of all the pcs my least favourite is the Thigh. I had tried for nearly an hour to get through to them but their line was constantly busy. I didn’t want to give any marks but I wouldn’t have been able to leave this comment

Just bought four piece of chicken from this place. Over the years of buying KFC, I have never seen such small pieces. Complete waste of money.

Absolutely got to be the worst kfc around ! Either over cooked or under cooked never right .they just throw it in the boxes The fries are the worst ever Staff talk to each other in a different language which is rude It needs the staff retraining we won’t visit again

Besides having to wait 15mins and having to reheat the food when I got home, no receipt given at the order point, the staff were throwing food around to make orders (I hope). The restaurant had dirty tables and over flowing bins. The staff not wearing masks correctly and the delivery driver walking in and out without wearing masks too. Definitely think twice about coming or ordering from here again

Absolutely livid order the gravy burger meal and when I got home received 3 pieces of chicken and fries ….. tried to call and complain abs no answer after 25 mins …. Had to drive back to collect correct meal. Just unacceptable

This place needs investigating. Who on earth is the manager or area manager? Look at the reviews!! 7 times I’ve ordered and every time my order is wrong or has missing items. No gravy. Can nobody count? 3 piece meal not 2 piece. I even left a note for the restaurant and it’s still wrong (see pic)Even the Just eat driver said he always gets complaint with missing items. Yesterday I had 1 7up missing. 1 piece chicken missing and a gravy pot. Every time I’m getting scammed £3-£4 off my order. What’s the point refurbing it when you got staff that ain’t been to school!!!

Was just at penn KFC and the customer service provided by Arjun was amazing!!! Really went out of his way to provide us with a positive experience. Our order was large and awkward and he made sure all was perfect and double checked when it was all prepared. Positive attitude to help rather than helping just because you have to. Thanks Arjun! Top service.

after my better judgement I decided to travel to Penn road KFC as its closer. I have had a number of bad experiences at this particular outlet, I waited in the drive thru for approx 10 minutes, all quite and no one talking through the order speaker. Some cars behind me started to honk and some were waving their hands, I said “hello hello anybody hear me” finally I gave up and drove forward to the window, I was told you have skipped the order queues, and to go back round the drive thru, I explained I couldn’t hear anybody and she slapped the window across! I was very annoyed and frustrated, no customer service ability and certainly a poor standard if any of training carried out..... this place is terrible and would just travel to other outlets where customer service is something you will receive... 🙄the staff here are never polite and plain rude.....

Never ever get everything that we have ordered. Countless times we’ve had to go back to get missing items and the rest of the time we just loose out. Such an inconvenience as it is the closest kfc but we’ll travel a bit further to get everything we have paid for, or go to mcdonalds.

We went there last night...saturday. for takeaway .. Mini fillet burgers.. in edible, a soggy mess.. only one salad not two.. two gravy not one. 4 pieces of original chicken. An overcooked mess. Fries nothing to talk about. What a waste of time and money....

Went today. Two uber drivers came in to pick up food. Both with no masks on.And the hot wings were totally burnt. Had that nasty pan been on fire taste and the bag smelled like burnt paper. So yeh small fire somewhere in there. Dirty. Will no way be back felt sick.

Ate in this evening. While waiting to be served I was quite concerned that a number of young men were not wearing masks while walking around The restaurant. No one asked them to wear one, they were leaning over the counters and not respecting social distancing at all. I sat down at a table and noticed that many of the tables had not been cleared at no point did I see anyone clear or clean a table. Floors were dirty and I could not believe the state of the gents toilets, they could not have been cleaned for hours. This place should be closed down, it is a breeding ground not just for COVID but probably many other nasty diseases. Avoid!

I visited this kfc last night, 24/9/20. The drive through line was only 6 cars, but it took 17 mins to get through. Staff didn’t seam to know what they were doing. There were 7/8 staff in view at the drive through window. Non had their mask on their face. They were all on their chin. Food was not so fresh. Won’t return.

Items missing from order so be prepared to go without.....called and complained. Was told to come and collect the missing food which defeats the object of delivery?@$%&!$ Food was old and chips as floppy as a wet fish. Never again

Disgusted at chaos inside the restaurant this evening at 8pm 11/08/20 Too many people inside, management and staff wearing mask like a fashion accessory around their necks instead of covering their mouth and nose and that's those behind the counter, those in front didn't have one on at all.Shocked and surprised to say the least. This restaurant needs to learn from McDonald's, hungry horse pubs small independent restaurants how to manage a socially distances environment. I just turned around and left.

The service from assistance manager was very bad and rude she made mistake with our food than she dlamed the door on my face in drive through just because I through my recpit away. I didn't ask them to make the mistake she did even ask what was my order. Than I went inside KFC she was still being rude to pointing her fingers at me. I told her I would break her finger if she keeps pouting at me and being rude

The food is great, one of our favourite take aways but our orders are consistently incorrect or missing items when we go drive thru.Felt compelled to write this review as they missed out a trilogy box meal today after we waited 45mins in the queue, last time it was a zinger box meal that they missed back in Feb and time before that they forgot to put a piece of chicken in my mega box. Almost have a mistake on every order (no exaggeration).Always check the contents of your order before you drive away from the window. Don't rely on staff to double check it on your behalf as they reassure you everything is in the bag, then you arrive home and realise something is missing! Staff are extremely prone to errors.

The service here is shocking. Served by assistant Saabba , asked for my rewards app after ordering family feast , she then went on to tell us about the reward off that the feast was cheaper , I asked her to repeat what she had said as I didnt catch it all and she ignored me and quickly put through to payment, saying that she just needs to put the payment through. My friend paid for our meal and I asked can we use the reward then and she quickly said oh no I've put the payment through you can use it next time. Not sure if they have sales targets here but certainly seems like it , putting the sales target before the customer! I returned later to the till to get an ice cream was served by same assistant and there was not one please or thank you.Disgusting service. I was made to feel very uncomfortable for asking what she had already offered and was very reluctant to even go back up to the till as I was that uncomfortable being served by the assistant Sabba.

I’ve waited 20 minutes for a burger meal. Absolute shocking service, staff seem disinterested and don’t have manners. Drive thru is prioritised, rather than customers actually in the building. This has happened several times and most certainly would not recommend Penn road KFC.

Staff looked like they couldn’t be interested or helpful. Ordered 6 hot wing meal and looked like I’d been given the bones from a meal previously eaten. Absolutely disgusting. Staff need to be taught manners and serve food they would be happy to eat themselves. Tried calling them but never answer their phone. Avoid this place.

On a number of occasions I’ve been threw the drive thru and every single time I have they’ve always messed up my order, I’m currently trying to call them and behold no ones answer....absolutely terrible

Unsatisfied Customer - Poor Food Quality - Penn Road WolverhamptonOn Saturday 13th July 2019, at 4:38pm we decided to stop by for a 10 Piece Bargain Bucket at Penn Road KFC located in Wolverhampton.Once we settled at home, I was completely shocked what I paid for, 6 pieces were drumsticks, and 4 were thighs. What happened to the wings and breast? I shouldnt have to pay full price for the pieces that are regarded the weaker cuts of chicken. Not only was the chicken pieces inconsistent. The chicken was overcooked and very oily. The bucket soaked through the bottom and dissolved the cardboard. So the bucket became a cyclinder indicates the amount of oil within the chicken.The coating is usually a light brown colour, however due to the chicken being overcooked it was dark brown. I have pictures to support these statements.Me and my family initially bought the meal as a quick treat after a long and tiring day. We were looking forward to this meal which was completely in edible. After one bite we decided to throw it away. I then tried to call the KFC store for a resolution. I called 27 times in a 30 min period and got through once. The colleague answered and could’nt hear me through the line. She then laughed to another colleague and said “the bloody phone isnt working” and hung up. She didnt return my phone call, this would of been the correct action I feel.In the end I gave up, and went to the local chip shop and spent a further £12 to feed my family. I was really disappointed with the quality of service and quality of food. This should be classed as fast food. Well established and a trusted option. However it failed on all aspects. I have taken a lot of time out of my day to first all to feed my family with quality food. Then tried to call for 30 mins. Then spent another 30mins writing this review.I feel my rights as a consumer have not been satisfied. I feel under the consumer rights act, i’m entitled to a refund at the very least. I think I will seriously re think if I will visit a KFC again. Not sure what the outcome will happen as a result of this complaint. You have 79% poor review rate on trust pilot. Came in for a quick bite as we were staying in hotel over the road. i tried that i love you bacon burger. it was nice. served quickly and was nice and relaxed

Horrified to say the least !Vistited 4th Feb early evening .First we were ignored ,once we were served we noticed a few things happening .One of the members of staff walked passed the chips that were ready for customers ,picking th up and shuffling them in her mouth !when I asked if we could change the dips we had ordered we had a second member of staff kiss her lips at me ,with no comment just handed the dips .Also had a lady who has a skin disorder working with food and no gloves on !just think it could of been covered up and gloves for hygiene .She seemed to be the only one working constantly and they only one with any manners .Once we had sat down and finally found a table that was clean and free from food ,we opened the gravy and it was so watery I went up to change it ,I had two people walk past and ignore me ,finally someone came ,again kissed her lips at me and handed me the replacement ,again with no comment !Such a shame as this is my local kfc but will not be visiting again .

Feeling a little peckish I popped through the drive thru. Although there was only one car in front I still had to wait 10mins before being served. 1 ordered the snackbox 1 piece which was served hot however, the fries were over cooked. In my personal opinion KFC is not as good as it used to be.

Today my wife and I visited the resturant fof lunch. I have to say the building was quite uninviting . The resturant wax cold and stark . The lighting comrises of different coloured shade of white bulbs crating shadows and darkness. The food was cold and uninviting the burgers were warm and the bread broke into pieces as you bit into it leaving you'd fingers to handle the food directly

All KFCs seemed to have gone down the toilet. Food price is high, portions are very small. Also the wait for food is ridiculously high! 20 mins for one meal?! Never again!

Popped through the drive thru and ordered mini variety meal. Meal was served immediately and the young lady on the till was very courteous and pleasant.

We went here for something to eat on my daughters birthday from around 8.30pm. Family had a bargain bucket with a big bottle of pepsi, there was no diet drink in a large bottle nor any bottles of water on offer. I asked for a cup of tap water with my meal as I don’t like soft drinks as find them too acidic on my stomach. We were told there was no tap water available, there was no bottled water either to buy. There were no veggie rice boxes or sweet corn for me to eat so ended up with a regular pot of barbeque baked beans. There were no wet wipes or napkins to wipe greasy hands nor were there any ketchup for the fries. Not very busy, plenty of seating and car parking. Children wanted krushems but guess what they had none, were operating on a limited menu but there was chicken.

Waited 20 mins after ordering. When asked why the long wait we was told they lost the order. By the time we got home the food was cold and soggy we live a 5 minute drive away and the chips instead of large was only half full. This was about 7 at night when the staff should be on top of there game

I visited about 9 p.m. On a Friday and decided to eat in, whilst there was nothing wrong with the food, the cleanliness of the eating area left a lot to be desired. The tables needed washing and there was food all over the floor. Probably should have gone to the nearby McDonalds

There are times when some succulent chicken and the Colonel's crispy coating are just what you want. A bargain bucket is a little too much chicken for two people, with way too many limp and lukewarm chips. Working out from the menu how to get the most pieces of chicken for the least amount of money for two people is way too difficult. Even with the wastage, the bargain bucket is probably best value.
