KFC in Sunderland

Worsts KFC ever new buffalo meal had nothing in what the picture showed The only place that meal was going is straight in the bin. Really fuming with the place

Seen some poor reviews on here so thought I’d jump on and share my thoughts. Never had any issues with the place, it’s your standard, run of the mill KFC and that’s all you want. I’m a fairly frequent visitor and I’m sure I’ll be back again soon.

Ordered 2x Large Boneless Banquet Meals… Only thing large about it was the bag it came in. If I had a family of 5 you wouldn’t even get a piece of popcorn chicken each… The chips wouldn’t feed a ravenous pigeon… The gravy and the chicken fillets were alright and the Pepsi well you can’t go wrong pressing a button on a machine. Would’ve been more full from a Tesco meal deal at a tenth of the price. Definitely don’t recommend if it wasn’t obvious.

Very slow service resulting to me being fined for free parking . After waiting in the McDonald’s 20 minutes seems that deliveries take priority over customers that walk in .

More than 60 mins late . Absolutely ridiculous. Especially when it’s say we will start your food soon as we find a driver. That hasn’t been the case or my food wouldn’t be cold !Chicken was dry . Was just so bad to eat.

Drive through to pick up some lunch….got home to discover 3 cherry cokes…not asked for ! Just wanted regular and tiny chips ….so basic to get this stuff right. The girl on the drive through spoke so quietly I struggled to hear what she was saying .

Terrible on every level. Staff have no interest in what they are doing and it shows in every way. First and last visit

30min wait for food in drive through with only one car in front. Wrong order discovered after driving home with it !!

Went at teatime. Asked for a ricebox - no riceboxes. Asked for chicken on the bone - 30 minute wait for that. Asked for daredevil bites - not available. Tables were dirty. Staff half asleep. Poorly managed. First and last visit there.

Although it's not always perfect, it is the best KFC, certainly on Wearside. The worst part about KFC is the 'fries' - they are not fries - they are skin-on chips. No matter which branch of KFC you go to, the chips are undercooked, however, on my latest visit to this particular KFC restaurant the chips were perfectly cooked and crispy. I would still prefer if they brought back proper fries. The chicken is good and the batter is nicely seasoned at Wessington Way KFC. Looking forward to the next visit

Don't know I bothered to give this place another chance. Had to repeat order over and over, and they still got it wrong. No fiery salsa on the burgers, did nit tower up one burger when asked, again with the whole repeating the order they just clearly didn't listen. Would not recommend at all. Never again.

The fries ordered were rubbery and tasteless, heated several times , just poison.I will never order from KFC again.

Complaint!!!!! Why have you taken away the Vegan Burger? Sat in a huge queue today only to find its gone! No signage! No announcement! Nothing on the website or social media! I’m a vegetarian I started going to KFC as the vegan burger was the best out of all the fast food chains Wasted 1 hours of my time today waiting then told they weren’t around anymore couldn’t get out of the queue as it’s drive through only soo had to sit for another 30 mins until in was out of the drive through area, Shocking 😡

5 Star KFC You the best vegan/vegetarian burger out of all of the fast food restaurants it’s absolutely delicious, you should sell them in the supermarkets to enjoy at home along with your vegan Mayo they are beautiful. I have been vegetarian for 30+ years so have tasted everything out there & I would say after that long I know my stuff & yours is the best! Well done 👏🏼 👍🏼 Don’t ever take them away! We are here right now. This is our first visit since it has re opened following covid. The tables are ALL DIRTY. I had to clean the table myself before we can use the table (cctv would probably have recorded me cleaning the table) while one staff possibly on her break sitting on customers chair sipping her drinks and didn’t even bother to assist us. It’s unacceptable to see a dirty restaurant during this time of pandemic!

Was here Saturday for a take out I had chicken wrap which was lovely daughter had chicken strips with chips but the chips were cold not very good value for money really

The service I received here was nothing short of disgraceful. Waited 40 minutes to be told they he'd ran out of the chicken to complete my meal and would have to wait another 15 minutes to cook more. Then there was no lid on chicken bucket and they forget my drink apart from that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

17 minutes since I placed my order and still waiting for chicken to cook. Fast food, I think not? Disinterested staff shrugging shoulders at each other. Fortunately a visitor to the area so unlikely to need their service again. Update - 23 minutes after order it is ready - on the upside I did get an apology.

called in with my wife Christine on the way to hospital, no straws, salt or forks were out , had to ask a member of staff who didn,t seem to care ! only 2 other tables were taken so went to sit but most tables were still covered in ketchup or litter. floor was messy. chips were just say warm n chicken the same. wold not recommend to anyone and we wont be back

Thought Washington kfc was bad! Having to wait in a fast food place for chicken to be cooked. No napkins in a chicken place is a joke. Ordered a bargain bucket were not 4 portions of chips. Disappointment will not be returning.

Absolutely dreadful, chips old and cold, chicken dried out and cold 2 items not in bag and service was miserable and unhelpful Never to again

I hadn't visited since losing my mum the previous December, but felt I had to in her memory. Thanks everyone, she was one of your regulars since you opened and at 91probably one of the oldest, but she loved her weekly KFC and the staff were always a delight. We had a hand in the naming of the Park - Thomsen - after my dad, John Thomsen and Mum was always proud of this and was delighted with the picture she had of her next to the sign. I guess it made her weekly visits that bit more special. So sad she will not be back, but wish everyone well and thanks for your service over the many years we visited.

Most expensive meal ever. Apparently we overstayed our welcome and ended up with a £60 parking eye fine. KFC was practically empty———-I know why now!!!!!!!!!!

Just been through the drive thro. Asked for chicken fillet burger meal. Also wanted a cookie but they didn't have any because they didn't have a container for them!!!!! Got it back home to find that there was cheese on it and it was drenched in tomato sauce and the chips looked like they were left over from yesterday. I 'd asked for coffee instead of the cold drink and was charged extra without it being mentioned at the order window.Everything was cold and unappetising. Don't really know why we go back there as it's very hit and miss.

I have used this drive thru a few times and 4/5 times I’m missing food I have paid for even on simple one person meal leaving out the fries and when going back round to tell staff staff were not apologetic at all.Rand customer services wrong and they didn’t seem bothered at all but I don’t see why I should pay for something I’m not receiving.

Popped in for a quick bite. Met at counter by Andrea. Very polite attitude. Me and my partner undecided what to order. Andrea made a suggestion for us and it turned out great at the end. Andrea popped over to see if everything was OK. Nice touch. She and the rest of the staff deserve a pat one the back. Very professional and also chatty. Great atmosphere all round. We will be back.

We were getting a takeaway and there was no large boxes of fries left, kids ice cream or crushems they definitely need to work on actually getting it organised and actually having the food but the food was okay the Beens tasted cheap thought.

The food was pretty much what you’d expect from there. We went through the drive through and the girl in the first window was pleasant enough. There was quite a delay and when we got to the second window, was told there was no popcorn chicken and they would replace with something else, of less quantity which I wasn’t happy with. I complained and got more boneless chicken which was a small compensation for the lack of popcorn chicken.A chicken establishment with no chicken and the queue times. Hopefully they sort it out!

Went here at tea time to the drive through placed order and needed a pound change but the assistant was adamant I didn’t had right attitude so just pulled round to next window for food which had been thrown in the bag sideways so u can imagine what it looked like won’t be goin back

Food was fine. No water available in WC. This was pointed out to manager who was both unsympathetic and rude. Other staff were fine.

We came here for lunch and you cannot fault the food but the staff were unorganised especially during the lunch hour. The woman who took my order didn't listen to what I ordered and then their was items missing from my order and when I asked about it she said they ran out but never informed me so I paid for stuff I didn't have. She gave me a burned cookie from the back and they let someone without uniform walk through the kitchen. Whenever I have come here before through the drive thru I have never had a bad experience but going into the restaurant is something I won't be doing again!!

Called in for lunch and found the food to be very fresh and hot. The service was excellent and friendly. One of the better KFC stores.

Usual food, tasty and was well cooked , staff didn't look suicidal either which is also a bonus when buying from these places

As usual with these types of restaurants they can have good days and bad days.Staff can be happy or they can moody or just mess about.There's times I've been and standards are high and types I've been where my order is completely wrong because the staff didn't listen.However most of the time the dining area is disgusting and even been times where there was no where to sit unless I cleaned up someone else's mess. Average store could defiantly benefit from a cleaning lesson

Visited on a busy lunchtime, food was served quickly, piping hot, not greasy like other KFC's. Very tasty, really enjoyed it, would visit again. Only downside is the place could have done with someone cleaning tables and the floor, and the staff weren't particularly friendly or pleasant, but the food was good which was the main thing
