KFC in Swale

Very disappointing visit. I took my older mother here as she has always enjoyed an occasional KFC. the screens are filthy that everyone has been touching and haven’t been cleaned. The chips were lukewarm. Only good thing was the chicken fillets were fresh and hot. The toilets smell DISGUSTING. a very bad sewage smell. I had to use them so had to put a wad of toilet paper against my mouth and nose while I was in there as I was heaving. We won’t be back

No joke!!! This was my bargain bucket for one meal!!! Disgraceful. Not like the poster by a long shot. If you live in Sheppey, seriously your better off driving to Sittingbourne for KFC. Got all the way home after picking up a takeaway and opened this anaemic pile of pissle. WHAT A F@##ING JOKE! This place needs shutting down. Stupidly went there after being dissapointed 2 years previous thinking things may have improved. BIG NO! 👎 Can't physically give minus 5 stars otherwise I would, not even worthy of the 1 star I've been forced to submit. Honestly, disgraceful!!!!!!!

The worst food and service I’ve ever experienced. Ordered a fillet burger meal and 2 piece meal. Was told to park up as the burger was not ready. Waiting 20 mins then had to go in and ask for it. They treated me like I was a total inconvenience to them. When I did get the burger it was just chicken between a bun. No lettuce, no mayo and half cooked. They left the fries out in the 2 piece meal. We throw the lot away. Total disgusting

I just spent over 30 minutes queueing behind only 5 cars to get to the front and be told hi welcome to kfc can I take your order we only have popcorn chicken and mini fillets left are you for real!!? A multi million/billion pound company and you can’t keep your stores stocked until closing!! Absolute joke!!! Thanks for wasting my time and fuel!!!!!! No offer of compensation just oh I can do a popcorn box meal no I don’t want a popcorn box meal I want a proper meal a burger you know that you should have in at all times the one thing you actually should be making you didn’t even have original chicken 😂 oh and I got a sorry about the wait!!! It’s absolutely laughable this kfc word of advise to anyone visiting the isle of Sheppey don’t go to this kfc in thomsett way your just be queueing for nothing!!!

Waited 15 minutes in the drive through ended up going in to see where the order was, it was chaos in there we was told that they was waiting on chicken but just eat was going straight in and back out again with their orders done before people that had been waiting on top of that the order was wrong and the the only KFC that I know that seems to have too many chicken legs because that’s all they seem to give you terrible service no drinks that we ask for, it seems to me that they like to concentrate on their home delivery and not the customers stood in front of them.

Shocking service Face pulled by cashier was not inspiring when asked for a Clean tray... Counter was dirty and there is a strange smell coming from the floor (like old milk) Came in for something to eat and noticed nothing was wiped down and my flip flop came off due to the thickness of the spilled food and drinks mashed together into the laminate flooring This was 10:45 on a sunday so i would have guessed as open for 45minutes it would have been more respectable for anyone + public should endure There was no tongs for the cakes And we heard 3 other customers complaining in a not very diplamatic shame but the words and service is still apparent Its simple Clean cloths work My biggest gripe here is not that the entire restaurant was unhygienic and WELL below Par to the basics of what you would exect But it was the attitude of the older lady cashier When politely presented with the statement "Sorry about no tray my love... it apears there isnt any clean ones. So we will be taking just the plates through (but had to lift them due to the counter being sticky) the face of disregard and bother was the Shocking bit One human being expressimg duty of care in a polite manner was met with a shoulder shrug and disrespect Nice... well done Morisons in queenborough sheppy Please stay away That being said we hild no undue malice to food places bar the ones they should hold up Xx

Had a cold hard breakfast never again total rank even the egg and beans were cold,,I wont be going there again

I come here for the 10 mini fillet deal to have for dinner as I hadn’t eaten all day and was starving I woke up the following day with bad diarrhoea and bad stomach pains all day long and all night too I’m still not 100% today speaking to a friend and my mum both of them had the same experience from this place I don’t think I’ll be going back there again.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered Boneless banquet go large. No fries not large. Chicken strips and fries . 12 fries . Stone cold. Customer service . None . Will never go there again

Will never order from here again, food tasted disgusting, chicken tasted dirty like it had been cooked in very old fat, all went in the bin, how they are still trading is beyond me

I’ll keep this short and sweet. KFC can never be described as gourmet food but it’s generally a safe bet. Sheppey KFC is probably the worst tasting kfc I have ever frequented. Taste wise, the food is ok 5/10 but the gravy is so watery it’s unreal. They’re often out of basic kfc foods such as boneless fillets, pop corn chicken and krushems. It’s frustrating that a kfc can be so short of such common products

Even tho tables are supposed to be cleaned and wiped over before seating found the table unwiped and when asked was given cloth to wipe down yourselves then waited over 20 mins for x2 breakfast to arrive and to say was not nice is an understatement. Hash browns burnt, tomatoes undercooked, bacon limp and flaccid not coloured in anyway, toast and fried slice missing off one order. both plates seemed to have the food thrown on with out any presentation skills, ok it's a breakfast but still should look pleasing to the eye. Fried slice on other plate was running with oil from being deep fried. waited for condiments to arrive plus missing items which never did where upon manager was called so we could raise our grievance. Wont be using again even though partial refund was given. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Have visited the morrisons cafe. To be greeted by Rosie, no matter how heavy the work load is she is always smiling, a great asset to the business, just could do with a hand now and again. P. S great food aswell.

Had a nice day out at Sheerness Beach, went and parked at the nearby Tesco's and on the way back, decided to make use of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme! I got myself a Zinger Rice Box - came with salad, barbeque beans, tex-mex steamed rice and a really nice mayo dressing. I also asked for some supercharger sauce on top, which some KFCs are reluctant to give - the customer service was top notch and the restaurant kept clean with hand sanitisers with staff providing sprays and cloths for customer use. Will definitely come back next time when I go to the beach!

Waited ages to even get in to sit down For a table was waiting ages for our food to arrive to be told they didn’t have some of the things We had ordered food wasn’t great at all

We went into the restaurant after shopping today and decided on a big daddy breakfast...staff very helpful and friendly..but sadly breakfast wasn't very good ...black pudding really hard didn't eat that .So it was changed for bacon that was really dried out and hard ......

Visited various times since it started trading here as my wife loves kfc , but each time we have they server up cold food or they don’t have food or coffee , and don’t even do sweetness

Poor service, food order just left on counter with no information if complete. I found they had put a chicken leg in one of the meals when it should have been wings, fine they changed it but put the leg into someone else's order !...

Called in for a cooked lunch, 1.30pm. Staff advised `unable to serve any cooked food` - the chef had gone home. Asked if they could even do toast as a snack, but was told that health and safety issues prevent anyone not qualified from doing...

Very disappointed, considering its a supermarket they had run out of most of the items on the menu,would have to think twice before going again

Stopped going as the chicken was horrid greasy and dripping in fat slow service. If you use drive through expect to get parked I would say 7 outof 10 times had to wait

Got to be the worst kfc in the country we had a six bit bucket meal take away most of the chicken was bones and over cooke if I did not live three miles from there I would have taken it back fries was not much better the only good part the gravy was red hot what I will say I WONT BE COMING BACK staff not very helpful place was messy staff was emptying bins then the next minute serving food no washing of hands took place

One of the worst! Soon as you walk in you start to regret your desicion. Rubbish and food everywhere, the place is rotten. The front door is filthy to the point it's got tide marks of dirt around the handle.

I hate giving bad reviews but I feel that it’s my only choice to get things improved. We have had to buy ‘fast food’ as extra food for my Mother in Law while she was in hospital and she loves popcorn chicken and a latte. Some days the drive through was not open, some days they had no popcorn chicken, most days they didn’t have coffee. One day she asked for ice cream - was not available, no Crushems either! We gave up many times and used McDonalds in Sheerness as they always had stock of everything. When talking to other people, it seems that my experience is not unique and even the boxes that they put the food in have been in short supply! Make it better KFC please?

This restaurant is terrible! Thick ignorant staff who haven’t got a clue between them. They got the order wrong, twice! Over 40 min wait, food was cold and disgusting. Try favourite fried chicken in Sheerness, much better. I will never go to this awful KFC again

An allright KFC nothing special but also nothing great either service not the fastest but food served hot. As a KFC fan I enjoy the food.

Waited ages... the staff are to busy chatting to get your orders right .... ordered a family bucket but was told they had no sides... asked for it at a cheaper price to be told NO! Worst KFC in my opinion

This place is terrible, last visit they had ran out of drinks, gravy, corn and burger buns, this visit surprise surprise ran out of buns again. I really don’t know how this KFC makes money. Even when everything is in stock the chicken is rubbish!

the store is dirty and tables are not wiped down after customers have left trays are left on the tables. bins are over flowing with rubbish making it very un hygienic. the floors are dirty and greasy to walk on. the toilets are dirty and not cleaned properly or refilled as they should be. all sides tables floors doors bins all surface areas should be cleaned regularly. this includes the counter surface. the staff really need to go back to training from the bottom to the top. they need to work as a team and not bicker amongst each other when products, drinks and food runs out. as a team they should work together to know what's there and what's not. me I don't think they know who is in charge as the supervisor but the biggest issue is the cleanliness of the store which is very poor. the staff need to be taught their hygiene

Order completely wrong. No sauce of choice. No hot drinks. No ice cream. Not worth patronising.. Wish we had chosen somewhere else

Ordered a 8 piece boneless meal. When I got it home there was no popcorn chicken, the fries were lukewarm at best & I only had 6 pieces of chicken. All 6 bits looked about 5 days old, 2 were the size of nuggets & only 1 was boneless. I tried a small bite & it was disgusting. I threw it all in the bin & will never buy from here again.

Waited 3 minutes at the drive thru order point to get one crushem drink, then was told "sorry the crushems machine isn't working". We drove round the one way out only to see at the 3rd window four people laughing at our expense.

Just save your money and time and go to McDonald's or Nandos! KFC clearly don't train their staff or recruit any with actual customer service skills. As for the food.......I left without any!

My child was so excited for her monthly treat we got to kfc and she excitedly asked for a chicken fillet burger we drove off and after a 20 minute drive to our house she Ran in and opened the bag ! And started to cry there was no burger to be found !! Thank you for ruining my day and my childs never again will I visit this awful excuse for kfa

I use KFCs a lot when I'm on the road. Usually they go from good to very good. I'm also aware of delivery issues that they are still somehow expecting the customers to put up with.

This KFC is the worst I have visited and I have been to the Sittingbourne one so that's saying something, fries are limp and cold, chicken looked like yesterdays.... Never again

Staff are patient, professional friendly and helpful. The environment was cleaned and relaxing. The food was tasty but the chips taste and look different; definitely not the usual kfc chips.

You can tell when you are getting near to this place because of the foul smell getting stronger as you approach. It stinks out the whole area.

I have used this KFC on several occasions as its near to my home. What can I say, its a KFC and you get KFC food from it, except you dont! Check your order before you drive away as they get it wrong far more times than they get it right. So annoying to find something you ordered is not in the bag or is different to what it should be.

No word of lie, I once came here at night time and they said they ran out of the regular chicken. Had to order boneless stuff which I’m not too fond of.

Sometimes food is really good and well drained (remember it's a KFC), and other times you wonder why you are eating the stuff as it can be really greasy. But on all occasions the staff are really good and keen to look after you.

Queue out the door 2 people on drive through chatting 1 serving!! Manager cleaning trays!!! Asked manager she should get this queue sorted out really and she replied "short staffed" then we said maybe help with the queue rather then clean trays?? She just looked blankly at us!! We said you don't really. Are do you? To which she replied "NO"!! We walked out and I think others followed as they couldn't believe her attitude either!! Wouldn't never return I only went with my hubby for him. I don't eat KFC as I've seen what's done with the chickens they use!!

My chicken was dry and tiny, chips cold, gravy worse than it's ever been, my friends burger was a mess in a box, staff spend most of there time behind the counter eating, the small manager was rude, the restaurant dining area smelled bins over flowing, I can't believe how down hill kfc has become, a friend used to work for them and it was nice, now I've been told the gravy is made cold!!! Chicken and in fact all cooked items don't get thrown away after there "allowed to stay hot time" apparently there's a book and the staff just change the time on the book and pretend the've cooked more, truth is the've left it sitting there all day, do you really want to risk your health with this establishment again!! I only went because I'm diabetic and needed to eat, honestly I'd rather have gone to A and E

Been waiting for them to open. Doors say 11 they are all inside. Its now 10 past and they are not opening . Loosing customers. This is not acceptable

I do love a KFC and my wife doesn't. Great place to eat in for lunch when on own. Good service and I sat in my car overlooking open fields. Service excellent as was the food. Managed queues well.

Spare of the moment lunch wish I had not average service was ill for 24 hrs after eating here will never recommend or go here again place seamed tidy enough staff seam very lazy standing around waiting while one other was serving 3 members stand chatting yawning and not even covering there mouths and as she stretched her gut was on show felt very let down and the three staff stand Chatting was slagging off other staff that was working crap all round

Lunchtime meal. My colleague ordered the zinger burrito. He ended up with just chicken in a wrap with salsa sauce. Where is the rice etc.... I ordered the twister wrap which was just chicken and mayo. So the burrito was a piss poor attempt. As for cleanliness.... wipe your feet on the way out. Morrisons cafe is much better along the road.This is my third visit to this kfc, probably the last now. This is because the first time back in April I had a piece of chicken on the bone that smelt like bad eggs. We know what that means folks.

Staff nice and polite very busy waited ten minute for our order then it was missing and wrong some of the fries a little cold place was a little untidy tables not cleared rubbish on the floor won't be going back here would rather go to sittingbourne

A out off town KFC with very nice and efficient staff. Outside seating which when you look in the right direction has views over undulating pastures. Very clean.

The menu is confusing and whilst your trying to sort out what you want the menu boards disappear for an advert. The food is ok I can't see what's special about the coating it's pretty bland to me but I enjoy what I choose. Need to improve their coffee though. The bad bit is the cleanliness it's really poor and needs a deep clean. I'm appalled at how many people just up and leave their rubbish......put it in the flipping bin before you leave.

My husband and I had a long day and we were hungry. Made ONE change to our order , they couldn't even get that right . Had to ask for a dip that was supposed to be included. And as for their famous gravy , wasn't worth tasting. Pretty awful!

Been here a few times as it's the closest KFC to us but we're not going to bother anymore. We'll have KFC when/if we're out somewhere else but we'll avoid this one. On the odd occasion, you'll get nice tasting chicken but more often than not, it's awful. Doesn't taste like KFC should, dry, flavourless...... don't know how they can get it so wrong. It's like they're missing out some ingredients or part of the process?? Plus the premises is dirty.

Didn't have my phone on me to take photos but wish I had! Floors were filthy- not swept or mopped for what looked like hours. Used napkins left where condiment section is. Queued up to order for around 15 mins then upon ordering the young girl did not know how to use the till properly and the receipt printer was broken so was given hand written order number. Waited another 20 minutes to then approach the counter and was told by another young lady she did shout the order number but she said she didn't have a loud voice, so the food just sat there. Would of been quicker to go to Morrisons but an egg sit on it and wait for it to hatch!....and cook it myself. Will never use again!

Serving tray placed on top of fries being kept warm under lamps. Staff not bothered about contamination. Floor filthy with food and wrappings. Waste bin over flowing. Staff not cleaning up.Not up to the usual standard of KFC. Four separate customers returned cold food.Staff unresponsive to complaint. When told unfavourable feedback would be submitted said "The address is on the receipt mate"

The manager would not even come out to the front to speak to and try to rectify a problem we had food was cold and the fries were hard as though they had been there for a long time. Parts of the order had been missed and not even a word of apology.

I have been there two days running, to eat and the dining area looks like a total tip. There was food on the table on the floor. I went to the counter and asked that someone please give some attention to the dining room. I have to admit the manager was straight on it.The food was ok both days, just tidy up the tables and floors.

I have been here on many occasions and the food is either very very good. Hot fresh and enjoyable or lukewarm and not that good. The restaurant itself is always fairly clean. It's just not consistent.

If you want cold raw chicken with bad customer service this is the place for you possibly the worst KFC in the country tried going in a couple of times incase it was just a one off as it's a new branch but it only reinforced my previous complaints!Suffered with food poisoning on the last occasion will not be going back to this branch!!!!

took grand kids for a treat walked in dirty floor with food bits all over floor tables needed to be cleaned not that busy food ok very small amount of chicken nuggets no tomato sauce or mayo asked for water for the children this refused said they had none wat do they wash with kids not happy as don't drink sugar drinks

This KFC is fairly new approximately build in 2014, still looking new. Has a drive-thru. Has free parking, friendly service and fairly quick service even during the busy period.The food is not too creasy, unlike some other KFC I have visited. Good for quick convenience if you can't be bothered to cook.

Staff who do not appear to know their product range, a very limited credit card acceptance, rubbish serving system, hang around hoping when your number is called someone has remembered the drinks, very poor cleanliness - the customer appears to be responsible for what the last person has left behindHave forgiven it's early teething troubles, have tried a number of times since - they just happen to have a great location - but will not bother again

This a lovely KFC. Fast service, always good and it is spotlessly clean, you can do your shopping and grab a KFC, sit in or eat in car.

No gravy, waited ages for our food and didn't get our full order am food wasn't nicely presented at all, last time I'm eating there

The Coffee and ice cream machine is Regularly out of order and often shuts earlier than stated .on the door.

Third time I have visited, major problems for the drive through each time, taken home only to find wrong order, don't think I should open in the car as food gets cold, on return no apologies from staff. Never again.
