KFC in Central Bedfordshire

Ordered a delivery through the KFC app, for 3 meals a wrap, 2 hot wings and some coleslaw. It has to be said this is the worst KFC in the area by a long chalk. Anything wrong with the food? No other than stone cold. But when delivered none of the drinks I paid extra for (juice), and missing the coleslaw which I paid for. I'm sick of it, as they seldom get an order correct which I assume is because the staff and management don't care.

Dried up chicken gone down hill sooo much wow this kfc is awful, even the drinks aren’t any good. Avoid!

I visited the drive while in area did wonder why no que at that time of day. The guy taking order couldn't be heard was really muffled the microphone evidently broken he seem pleasant though. We paid waited long time for food it came in little paper bags portions really reduced. There was only still drinks available yet cost aprox £11.00. Anyway the worse was to come the chicken tasted fowl I don't know what oil it was cooked in but it was the worse meal tried to eat in years. Thanks KFC 🍗 u actually done me a favour as will stick we me reliable heathy packed lunch.

Order placed through deliveroo, driver turned up with another person's order. Then after a lot of back and forth with deliveroo customer service we managed to get our order replaced. Driver turned up late and food was missing from our order. This isn't the 1st time we have had issues with this KFC. But this time was the last. I recommend for everyone to avoid, absolutely incompetent.

This is literally the worst KFC in the country. I don’t even need to attend a single other store to know this. Have given this site multiple chances and every single time they just prove that I’m losing brain cells to consider giving them further opportunities to let me down. I actually implore anyone to give this one a big miss. Orders are always missing something. You can’t contact them, not that they’d care. Cold food. Stank lettuce. Waste of time and waste of money.

Horrible. 3 pieces of chicken, one of which, was just bones and no meat! Twister was just tortilla and chicken, no salad nor mayo. Chips undercooked! We won't be going back!

After the sight frustration of having to wait in the parking bay for 10 mins for our food, we then had no cutlery, serviettes, tomato sauce beans in the bag. When I went in to sort things, the server was very apologetic and dealt with me well and the manager offered extra beans to say sorry. Well dealt with and good food too

every time i order its wrong .. dont matter if you go there or get it delivered . they are completley incapiable of the simple jobs . Order a fillet tower meal . you get a zinger fillet burger .. how thick do you need to be to work there as its clear as day theres not a braincell in the building

It's ridiculous, anytime I order food from KFC it's something wrong with my order. Today I ordered 1x Pepsi Max Bottle 1.5litre and they sent me a can of Pepsi Max.It was last time what I ordered from them.I would like to get what I paid for.

The worst experience ever with KFC its shouldn't even be called KFC its just bringing a bad reputation to the company. I will make sure I will report them to central head office. The quality its far away from the expectation. I'm a really fan of KFC. Here you can't find any taste, food cold and lack of communication. After reading other comments I'm surprised that the shop still exists. Whole team should be send for training and management should fired. People let's just complain together to main office we want nice tasty KFC fingers leaking not the one what we have now.

After getting a drive through from this KFC i will never be returning. When i drove up to the window there was probably 6 or 7 people working with the food. I only saw 2 people wearing their masks, the others had them under their chins. Also saw 3 people wearing gloves and no one else. Also messed up our orders and tried to argue because we were never given a reciept. Had to open my bank account to prove that we had paid 20 minutes before returning for the rest of our order when we realised!

Crap...the whole point of the gravy box is the gravy! ...oh no that's just impossible considering it's the simplest menu!

Over the last 3 visits this branch of KFC has failed to correctly fulfil the order. 1st occasion asked for side breast chicken in my box meal, I got a leg. 2nd occasion ask for my box meal to be towered I got a non towered burger. This time I asked for a cheese slice in my burger, no problem said the server. Guess what? No cheese! This latest venture to kfc the food was also at its best luke warm. Please avoid to lessen your daily risk of disappointment.

Having waited an excessively long time to order, I proceeded to purchase a family meal. After the short journey I unpacked it only to find that standard parts of the meal missing and the food that I had received was lukewarm at best. There are far better establishments to purchase food from!

Pulled the manager where smoking outside , got inside no distancing .. all staff where mucking around behind the counter .. a young man came in at the beginning of his shift in his coat and was sent outside to empty bins came in started serving without washing his hand, avoid at all cost . The place is dirty

Just visited. Tried to order lady serving behind the till was mumbling behind her mask.(I'm not complaining about her wearing one ). I couldn't hear her...instead of explaining she rolled her eyes at me!!!. Wow!.worst customer service I've ever received.

We live local and have used this restaurant on one too many times. We keep saying never again!, But only us to blame.. but you would think the restaurant would get better, maybe new staff and management? Or learn from their mistakes?Yesterday, ordered, chicken wrap Box meal and a tower zinger Box meal... "Sorry, No fizzy drinks whatsoever available", "ok a tropicana", "no tropicanas sorry", "ok, what do you have"? "water or some fruit shoot childs drink". "Ok, not for us, take the price of the drink off"... "No can do.. can give us an extra side order"? "Gee, Ok Beans and a sweetcorn (one for each of us).. Can we have a mint and a sour cherry Krushems", "Errr no, sorry we don't have them".. "Right, OK, I've queued in the drive through for 15 minutes I'll take what I have"..Get home and that is literally 300m (in a car) 1 minute, chips droopy and cold, chicken wrap cold and nearly empty of salad, nothing like their picture, they asked what dip, I said Sweet Chilli, they forgot to put that in! 2 sweet corn on cobs, one in place of drink.Mine, Zinger tower Box, without the tower, just a simple fillet, not even ZINGER! one piece of lettuce and blob of mayo, chips as horrible as the wifes, and microwaving them was no better! but I tired. 4, yes 4 pots of beans, 3 small one large!!! Not a serviette, or spoon to eat the beans, lucky I took them home.How can one place get it soooooo wrong, I tried to ring up that night, didn't answer, tried this morning no answer, so here is your review..Lets go back one week, ordered £55 worth of KFC for the family, they forgot chips in one meal and a whole childs meal and were so stingy on the adult meals chips, I think they were the same as in the kids meals, no dips in package...

The hygiene standard here is horrendous. No one ever clear tables, sticky floor. Customer Service wise, don't expect any there.

Still a lot of people writing bad reviews about this particular branch of KFC but I absolutely love this place. I don't think anything more could possibly be done to improve this restaurant. Excellent customer service, great food, public toilets always kept very clean and tidy. I will always continue to visit here to eat over any other place as this to me is the best place ever to eat.

My husband and I visited the KFC in Dunstable on the white Lion Retail Park. Upon our arrival I went to use the ladies toilets whilst my husband proceeded to order our food. My first issue was the state of the toilets, one cubicle had stains all over the bowl, there seemed to be water leaking from the toilet itself. When I went to wash my hands, one of the sinks was out of order and the other had disgusting brown stains all over it. I don’t think that the toilets had been cleaned in months. The poor state of the toilets had me concerned about how hygienic the food preparation area was and I proceeded to the food ordering point. My husband had tried to order a twister wrap but the woman at the till point could not understand English so an order that should take 2 minutes was actually taking much longer due to the woman lack of knowledge of English. I proceeded to tell the staff about the dirty toilets but they just looked at me blankly. By this point I had had enough and did not want to eat in the disgusting unhygienic establishment so we left and bought food from Tesco instead.

Had to take a break and we ended up at KFC Dunstable. I went for the Big Daddy box meal while my daughter went for the chicken wrap.Nice place to visit with a smile from the lady at the tills. Infact such a smile that I can't forget for a very long time.Delicious meal, nice atmosphere and a very warm welcome from staff.

Wanted something quick. We were warned off the one in Hatters Way Retail Park. Found this one. Pleanty of parking. Good service. Food was hot and tasty. Chips were thicker than normal, bonus, and had skins on. Double bonus. KFC are getting better :)

Went there late night for a bucket of wings was served by a young man I believe he’s name was joe, served us politely with great service and a big smile our food was prepared freshly and was great, this young mans customer service skills were amazing should be a team leader if not a manager will definitely be visiting again

Greasy chicken. No flavour but only salty. I believe they have stopped serving hot drinks because every time they said the hot drink machine was not working which obviously a lie. Poor service. I advice not to use their toilet and bring you own hot drinks.

I still read lots of bad reviews of this branch of KFC and I still say this is without a doubt the best place ever to eat. Absolutely fantastic customer service very helpful and very friendly. The food is still the best ever and the customer toilets are always spotlessly clean. I love everything about this place and there really is nothing bad I could ever say. I have been a regular customer here for a long time and I will continue to be and I will definitely tell everyone I can what a great place this is and that they won't be disappointed. I would give this place an endless amount of stars for how nice it is.

What an absolute load of crap !!! Do these people know what freshness and cleanliness is ??? NO !!!! worst I’ve ever been too. Food was cold and disgusting. Staff miserable !!!

I was disappointed just like the other people who reviewed the place. It was quiet during lunch and staff were ok. But the food was horrible. I enjoyed my zinger meal with two spicy wings and that’s why my 2 star rating. But the fries were awful. They were soggy and it was just horrible. Wouldn’t recommend.

This is a usual KFC place drive in , takeaway or sit in. No atmosphere what so ever not a very pleasant place to eat in ,would rather takeaway.

All I have read on here is bad reviews about this restaurant and I absolutely love everything about it. Fantastic service, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, toilets are fantastic. I will always continue to come here as it really is worth every penny. If I was able to give this a much higher rating then I always would.

Drive thru was quick taking order and serving piping hot quick food. Serviettes and wipes were provided without having to ask with a smile.

I had the rice box and to be honest it was pretty good. However the toilets were disgusting. My grandson used the toilet cubicle and lifted the lid to P. The seat was horrid and obviously not been cleaned for wks. The whole floor and P everywhere. Even washing out hands one of the 2 sinks was blocked with crud.

Stop for lunch and wish I’d gone home. Gravy like water, cold chicken, loads of staff behind to counter getting in each others way. Needs better management.

On arrival there were only two people in front of me. One girl was rushing around trying to do everything. The rest of the staff were sullen and rude and slow. I complained that part of the order was missing and it was shoved across the counter. No apology. The chicken was dry. I’d heard bad reports and should have listened. Won’t be going back. There are much better chicken shops locally who deserve our custom.

Awful place dirty tables full of rubbish Floors had not been cleaned If the hygiene is that bad for the front of house Imagine what the kitchen is like Walked straight out

The tables, floors where all dirty with rubbish piled on top of the bins. I didn’t order food because of this.

We always used to go out of our way to eat here but could not believe the terrible change since it's refurbishment. There was mess all over the tables and floor and the service was really bad too. It took ages to order and receive our food and they ran out of all drinks and offered tap water! Could not even think of eating in the restaurant and so we ate in our car instead. Hope they clean up their act soon otherwise will keep losing customers!

Raw sewage all over the toilet floor and walls and even the sink could smell it in the dining area staff walked past it and didn’t do anything about it i wouldn’t let my child use them asked staff what was going on and they blamed there customers

Chicken from here is usually dry & you can tell it's been sat out a while, God knows why because there's always queues. They had no corn or coleslaw as sides....???? She says I recommend the gravy so against my better judgement I say ok then. I get home & it's beans and not gravy!! Wtf? Within a few hours I was sick and the rest. Save your money and your tummy, go somewhere else!!

Came to kfc one evening time with my family i was so shocked when i revealed all this grease in my bargain bucket of chicken it was that bad u could even rinse it out!instant heart attack waiting to happen!!the place is also dirty they need to know how to clean this women was complaining as she was unhappy with her food the staff are rude and have the attitude like they dont care about the food they serve out to us customers also so unhygienic beard nets should be worn an hair nets but u dont see none wearing them?also there was a asian guy in the back i saw him rub his face and was touching his nose!iv seen aload of rats outside in the carpark as well the bins are always full the toilets are dirty! We wont be coming back here ever again! The inspectors need to inspect this place in the mornings,afternoons an nights there aint even a hygiene rating . This place really needs to be sorted or shut it down!!!

Bad food, very greasy and oily. Upon arriving to this outlet, there were customers complaining about the staff attitude and quality of service. There was only one person serving with about 5 others in the back kitchen rushing around like headless chickens. There was another customer complaining about "where is the previous manager??" and things like "get him back, he knows how to run this shop".... Upon receiving our food, it was very greasy, items were missing from the order such as Milkshakes, Staff had attitude, there was also RATS in the bin area. Would question the hygiene of this KFC outlook. Do not recommend!

on this visit service was slow, food ok but not great, only one person on tills, some tables needed clearing away and wiping down

You pay for what you get when you order a KFC, it's cheap no thrills food. It could you with a bit of a refurbishment inside though.

PS, es después de 30 minutos de espera para que nos sirvieran a través de su coche!

Cuando ordene mi comida la señora del altavoz ni siquiera me dejaron hablar que primero me molestó, pero ese era el menor de los problemas. 15 minutos de espera, una larga espera no es inusual. Cuando llegue a la que sirve hatch, llegará la orden de otra persona. Y porque a pesar de nuestros quejas, no han arreglado problemas de entrega, pasará con una cena fría. Realmente me pisses off esperan que allí en coche, conseguir su comida, entonces tienen que conducir de vuelta cuando se encuentran es frío. ¿Cuál es el punto? ? La situación ha sido muy mal gestionado por 3 años, y todavía lo es. Went in there today for a take away, on entering floor dirty , went up to counter even dirtier . Were they keep the desert on the counter which was glass could not see through it so marked and dirty. Got my order wrong, chicken gravy no taste. Will not be getting any more food from there. Needs a hygene check as soon as possible.

Friendly fast service and the food was well prepared and hot, but the restaurant seemed cramped and not all that well maintained.

Visited this 'restaurant ' on 5 Nov 16. Very disappointed. Slow order taking. Slow food preparation. Full bins. More rubbish on floor and tables then in the bins (but as they were full, I suppose there was nowhere to put it). Food was very poor quality. I don't know how KFC head office can let a restaurant serve such utter rubbish under its name. You're better off visiting the new KFC on Chaul End Lane in Luton. Embarrassment to KFC name.

The gravy was like left over grease from the fryer. The service was appalling and the food was awful

Hi everybody just to share my view on this place I ordered a chicken banquet for my daughter and a zinger tower box meal along with bbq spicy chicken bites to then first of all received no box meal extras then on opening the burger to find it was not a zinger burger in all up to the counter 3 times!! To then have my daughter say she don't feel right after eating half of her meal and having to leave my food on table to assist her in feeling sick in toilets istablishig the toilets were none satisfactionary to then get back to my table and food was removed without finishing it asking where is my food!! To then getting a response of u were finished actually no I wasn't I was just assisting my daughter as she felt Ill from the food she had consumed to then also get laughed at as I complained also previous to this seeing staff on mobile phones and messing around to then having to remove my child outside to be sick in the car park!! I have reported this and for sure this site needs some serious attention as it is not fit what's so ever so for all of u out there these are the images

KFC should be done under the trade descriptions act. The chicken burger was disgusting. All it was a piece of chicken chucked in the middle of a bap with a dollop of mayo added. No salad. The burger looked nothing like the TV advert, which prompted me to go there. I wish now I took a photo and sent to KFC. Will never ever visit a KFC again anywhere.

Called here one Saturday for a quick lunchtime snack and were disappointed with the restaurant and staff, although the food was good.No atmosphere at all and probably would not use this particular KFC branch again

I wouldn't usually review a fast food chain, however this was shocking. Don't waste your time by going here unless you fancy waiting in a slow queue and then another 18 minutes for your food - the wrong food. Laughable! There were 12 cars in the drive-thru as we left.

This is the worst run franchise establishment I have ever come across. Been here about 5 times and every time you can literally ( no exageration ) expect to spend around 40 minutes to an hour in the drive through even if there are only about 3 cars in front of you. I dont understand why its so slow. The food quality is awful as well. Had a mixture of missing food / luke warm chicken / greasy chicken and not one pleasant meal. Do yourself a favour and go to the nearby McDonalds instead. This establishment needs a proper staff overhaul or it needs to be shutdown.

Gets worse every time I go there. Slow service 9/10 I don't get everything I ordered. Chicken burgers are chewy. Place always a mess. Hygiene is so bad and customer service also bad.

We decided to have kfc for dinner and on this occasion ate in the restaurant rather than get take away. The service was very slow despite there being loads of staff there was only one server. They put our order with someone less then had to try and work out what belonged to us by reopening everything. Once they had done this they gave us our order and said they had given us some extra wings which they never, we say down and began to open our food, the extra chips were missing the were no extra wings and the wings we was given and paid for were meant to be flat wings, I asked for gravy not sweet corn so these had to go back, the burger was not what we ordered and it was all like warm by this time, I went back to the counter 3 times before I eventually got my correct order. The zinger tower burger was swimming in grease from the hash brown. Very disappointed the quality is clearly not what it used to be, I understand they were busy as it was a Friday night but that is not an excuse for the service and poor quality food we received.

Worst service and food ever, for the price you pay it was a joke... got a take away ..got home half it was just well im not sure what it was...didn't look or smell like chicken ...and the fries...think they were still frozen ... ended up throwing most it away and ordered a pizza instead ...never again KFC

Tables stinks, food cold and terrible staff. The whole place looks like a waste bin. Looked inside and I found very badly kept restaurant. People should avoid this place. I am not sure how the health officer has rated this place???

Forget what you have seen on the KFC TV program. If the KFC inspector turned up to this place he would drop dead from a heart attack. I wonder if that even really happens! No staff are tasked with cleaning the tables or floors unlike Mcds down the road who always have a dedicated front of house staff. Orders are always a nightmare. Often things are forgotten.The bin cupboard is next to the drive through so if you use this you have the awful smell of rancid grease and rotting food to perk you up before you order. Come on Yum Yum restaurants. We know you own this Franchise GET IT SORTED.

Cold food, staff forget bits of your order, stale bread, stale cold chips, flat pepsi and a piece of chick the size of a golfball. And thats all happened on more than one occasion. Used to be good but terrible now. Never clean, bins and tables full of rubbish. Wont be eating here again, will go to the one in town.

Terrible food, restaurant was like a war zone, food and rubbish everywhere. Needs a good health and safety clean up!!!

Just eaten there, food was average nothing special but standard as what you'd expect from a chain. What did let the place down was tables not being cleared and the bins were full. Would eat there again just hope it's a bit cleaner and tidier next time

Daughter aged 10 wanted to visit for a quick lunch, wish we would have gone to the McDonalds down the road instead. Whilst we were served quickly enough, we then had to wait 15 minutes for chicken and chips. We ate in and I can honestly say that all tables were loaded with rubbish, empty chicken boxes etc, there was a member of staff cleaning the restaurant but to say she was slow would be an understatement. There simply wasn't enough staff to deal with the customers. The food was awful, the chips/fries were stone cold and the chicken was overly greasy to the point that the grease was dripping down our hands and onto the already dirty table. Won't be going back.

As with all these places you get very little choice and the food is basic.The food I had was good and well cooked.Not over cooked and dry like some of the ones you can get.Like I said, it is what it is

This KFC used to be OK, but the last few weeks has become a total dump. Lousy "service" from new staff who seem more like ex-youth criminals and tasteless, often cold food.My advice: Avoid!

It's a KFC.Staff are friendly.Resturant seems always to be cold, doesnt bode well for trying to eat in.

Miserable staff, no please or thank you. To busy chatting amoung them selfs. Not many customers sitting eating but struggled to find a clean table. Bins overflowing with rubbish. Chicken was swimming in fat, regret eating it as had a dodgy tummy later.

Was a very packed day but no excuses for no cleaning of tables. All dirty trays stacked by full bins, place run by teenagers

I don't really know how the staff got a job there. Slow, arrogant, rude, arguing among themselves. Would not return to this Kfc again.

I ordered one of the Brazilian themed meals and found the food very bland, no flavour at all, which is rare for KFC. Very disappointed.

quick and tasty and spot on every time. chicken is always perfectly cooked and juicy. the new sunaes are great too
