Have given this place a few chances but never again. The staff are completely inept, and prioritise delivery driver who are collecting orders. The food was so bad a few weeks ago I submitted a complaint and received an £8.00 voucher. Against my better judgement I gave them another go for a take out. Fries were soggy and cold. Chicken was over processed and tough, and they couldn’t even manage to add the gravy I’d ordered to my order! Don’t bother with this place. Never again!!

The wait for food was over an hour. Uber and delivery drivers had been waiting for over 2 hours. One family who had 3 children about 5 years old and was eating over an hour and a half, the time was 7 when they ordered and got it at half 7 after being told they can’t refund their order. On the other hand Will was very good at being able to update us when things were happening and managed to get our food before we would have done.

Absolute shambles on every visit. This time we waited for 10 mins at the order speaker without a word of ‘we will be with you shortly’. So we decided to drive to the pick up window, waited another 10 mins to be met by a rude worker with a bad attitude. We ended up driving off! Always a complete mess and run by rude monkeys! AVOID!!!

Shocking service, staff rude and miserable! Don't go very often as never had positive experience. Drive through poorly signed for ordering point round to window. Then you get to window and staff can barely be bothered to serve or speak. Food wasn't too bad

When we arrived it was quiet with 2 other customers and the odd car going through drive through While we were paying for our order i noticed 2 members of staff had out order ready on 2 trays. (£39 in total) Once we sat down with my family my wife and daughter felt uncomfortable at the 2/3 female staff stood behind the counter glaring at us muttering to each other I noticed various items missing from our order and had to go and ask for them. We also had been given Pineapple sticks with the kids meals and asked about the kids ice creams we had not been told there were no kids ice creams cos apparently the machine is not working. Me and my wife were seeing to our 4 kids and trying to eat our meals too I noticed my 3 pieces of chicken were luke warm (not fresh) and dry But being tired and hungry and trying to see to the kids i tried to get on with eating my meal. When i got to the largest piece of chicken it was too cold and dried out completely. I went to the counter to discuss (Not complain) with Emily who claimed she was in charge and i was met with her hostile attitude, Rude and completely lacking any common sense Emily stated i ordered my food 30 minuets ago, I reminded her that the staff had our order sat on a tray on the counter while we were ordering and paying for the order, also that i had to return to the counter twice for missing items and then i have 4 kids to see to; 2 of which are disabled Anyone knows when a piece of fried chicken has been sat for a long period and has gone dry and stale. My guess is they wanted to get the old chicken palmed off to the first customer they can as its probably due to be binned or there must be a fault with the heated storage there held in My wife was upset at Emily’s behaviour she went to speak with her, she was immediately abrupt and rude to my wife without giving her chance to speak then just turned her back to my wife and ignored her and chatted to a colleague The cafe was not very clean. Staff stood with not a lot to do but 1 staff member walked around and put the chairs tidy under tables but didn’t bother to wipe a single of the dirty tables or sweep dirt from the floor The toilets were well neglected. I nearly slipped in the toilet cubicle myself and 2 of the 4 toilets blocked. No hand wash. Dirty nappy on the floor It’s clear now from personal experience and all the reviews that this KFC is badly managed and Emily is in the wrong job as she is crap at it; an absolute joke of a KFC. spend your hard earned cash elsewhere and. Remember Crap things come to Crap people 😉

I've been here twice, I hated it the first time but came back with hopes for improvement but i think I just was even more disappointed than the first! On the first visit it took forever to get my food when i only ordered 2-3 things, and i don't mean 10-20 minutes 'forever' I mean something more like 1-2 hours FOREVER! I know places can get busy, especially fast food, however, 1-2 hours is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Since I had so much time to observe the surroundings, I noticed how dirty it was; the bins were overflowing, the floors were unswept, there was a spill with no 'wet floor' sign , the windows had alot of handprints on them, aswell as many more flaws. Not to mention how absolutely careless the workers were, they were just hanging around while people including myself were waiting! With hopes for improvement, I came back for a second time, just to find the exact same filth inside, if not even worse! Again my food took forever, however, it did come a bit quicker than last time ( maybe 30-45 minutes ) which is great, but still not okay. After I payed for my food, I was not given a receipt, which I was a bit suspicious about but I just brushed it off. When I came up to take my food, I was asked for a receipt, which I was not given, I explained the situation and then had to open my bank account to prove that i did indeed pay. Which I as a customer, or anyone in that matter, shouldn't have to do! I visited twice, happy to say that there will not be a third.

The restaurant was just a mess abs dirty!! Bins overflowing and tables with trays filled with leftover food (6 in total). Cobwebs in light fittings and what looked like a cage for the Uber eat and just eat drivers was kinda funny. Food was hot and good but having to find a semi clean table and have to use a napkin to wipe it down is a VERY bad experience. There was staff about so why one couldn’t have emptied the bins and cleared and cleaned the tables is beyond me? What that take? 10-15mins…….

The ordering process of the food is simple using the screens by the entrance however the machine did not give me a receipt. The food was ready fairly quick but the portion I got was much smaller than at other KFCs and the chicken seemed poor quality and full of grease. On the plus side the staff keep the restaurant clean and disinfect tables as soon as you leave ready for the next people to sit down.

Poor service and just not worth the money, at first gave me the wrong receipt so I didn’t know when to collect my food and the lady was so rude about it when I told her. Didn’t give enough plates to serve a family of 3, was just overall horrible

Love a bit of fried chicken, the colonel's way. Better than any other chicken brands around and quick and top tier service.

I went to kfc trench lock in may 2021 with my friend and I had a £5 note which was only ripped at like the top I ordered my food and the man who served me shouted at the top of his lungs “warning warning shes got a ripped £5 note” and then he started being sick and then another person said “a ripped £5 note” then the man came back with 2 other people who work there and then they have me my food after 30 mins cause they were too busy with just eat orders and drive thru ans I have them the £5 and they started investigating the £5 note and I already held the food and they said “I’m sorry you can’t pay with this” but I already took my food and they have it me for free but he was literally being sick and didn’t wash his hands terrible hygiene disgusting

Poor service , poor cold food …. Do not go here! All our chicken was cold , four of us got different chicken mains and everyone was cold… not even the slightest bit of warmth. Disgusting!

I went to kfc on Monday (yesterday) and I was waiting for 30 mins just for chicken and chips and they were too busy with just eat orders and drive thru and there was a massive cue and when I got served it was about 15 mins and it was too hot they forgot my drink and literally put in 10 chips don’t come here disgrace

Whilst the food is ok, but you never know what your going to get when you get home. Ordered substitute's but not only did they not substitute, they didn't put the original items in there either...

Please do not order from here. I ordered 2 meals only for the delivery time to keep being moved (what’s the point of having an estimated delivery time?). Then after 2 hours was sent a message to say it was cancelled. Nothing like customer service eh. Absolutely disgusted and fuming. I could of gone somewhere else but then it was too late. BE WARNED!!!

We ordered from just eat and was impressed it was going to be with us within 15 mins! As it’s only up the road it shouldn’t take much longer! Well food turned up! I had an4 piece with extra fries and gravy! I had been looking forward to trying the gravy! It wasn’t bad! Was the only eatable thing about my meal! The chips were chewy! And had almost a full bag of off cuts! Tiny bits from the end of the potato! The longer chips all had green or black roots on them! As for the chicken!!!! As soon as I opened the bag I could smell a burnt smell, the chicken was very over cooked! I’ve never seen the skin so dark! Was black in places! Really hard that I could get my teeth through! The bottom of the bag was thick with grease! My dog had trouble and she’s a dustbin!! She wasn’t even impressed! After removing the skin the chicken was dry and tasteless! First kfc in a long time! And the last!

The 4 of us arrived at KFC and checked with a member of staff if they had any available tables.(short supply due to Covid and social distancing plus 50% off night if eating in ).She found us a table and cleaned it all and said if we could use the first 4 seats and leave the 2 on the end free for social distancing from the next table.No worries, I totally understand about Covid restrictions and social distancing.So, whilst waiting for our food, the manager came over and said next time can you not sit here, this is what the signs are for. I replied that we were told to sit in those seats but not the end 2 by the next table.She then repeated herself saying not to sit in those end seats again.She spoke to me as if I was a child and took exception to this.I told her she needs to communicate to her staff better. Surely she should be leading her team by example, not talk down to customers and be so rude and abrupt.Shocking customer experience from the Manager who needs to work on her communication skills and people skills!

Saturday midday ran out of pretty much everything Ordered ricebox after 10 minutes got told they have no rice The shop is ran by either kids or complete incompetence Asked for refund and went to maccys after to at least get proper service

Ordered a 6 piece bucket and they tried to charge me £16.99. When I if it was right I was told yes, I asked how many pieces of chicken I get in that I was told 18!!!. So I asked if they do a bucket with 6 pieces in? yes its called a 6 piece bargain bucket (with 4 fries) and that was £12.99 (not much of a bargain).Anyway I was in the drive through so I got it, what a load of rubbish, only 2 of the pieces of chicken were eaten, the rest we a mix of chewy rubbery under cooked crap and they went in the bin along with most of the fries which were tasteless.The coating on the chicken was far from what I have had in the past from any KFC, it was soft and greasy.I will not be getting any more food from this outlet.

Just a caution if you eat here and your orders slow check your parking as it only 90 minutes. It’s a shame that you may be rushed to avoid parking charges ! Especially when waiting for food or queuing.

Awful! No pop on draft. Given a can!! Told waiting time is one minute and over ten minutes later still waiting. Staff refer to you as “mate”? Great customer service. Not!! Waiting in cold with my two year old for food that I don’t even know is going to arrive. Madness.

They never have coffee. Tasteless. No salt. 3 bags of chips chucked in sideways so all practically empty. No spoons to eat the yoghurt with. No serviettes.

waited 45 minutes for our order and then when we queried it with the staff member she was very rude saying that KFC wasn't fast food - as she not seen the KFC website, which says exactly that. She also said that she had come out to help as though customers should be grateful. When we asked to see the duty manager food suddenly arrived, he said food should be with you in 5 minutes. Food was disgusting - stone cold. I definitely won't go there again and certainly would say don't waste your money. KFC in Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton don't seem to have a problem with serving HOT food QUICKLY.

Horrible greasy chips,no dip given.no coke, asked for no ice and still given it. The side was a pot of bean juice with a few beans in it.

Been here twice recently, first time they had no gravy and didn’t give me any salt or cutlery. Didn’t notice until I had left already with my food. Second time the drinks tower is down so no drinks and no gravy. And yet again no cutlery, salt or napkin given!!Pretty poor service and management! Will visit a different branch from now on!!!

Sunday 6th Oct 1430hrs. The floor, all over the restaurant, had food on it and spilled tomato sauce in several areas, no, not in several areas, all over, everywhere was disgusting. If it's like that in the customer area, what is it like in the kitchen area (I could see chips and chicken popcorn that had been spilled all over the counter, behind the staff area, and not cleaned up. There was even brown sauce splashed up the counter.I could not see one table that hadn't got discarded food on it and many had sauce over them too.The large tomato sauce dispenser had ran out and, when I told one of the staff, who was leaning on the counter doing nothing, she gave me some sachets and leant back on the counter. I thought she might have replaced the empty container, but no!Then, to top it all, we couldn't have a hot drink because they'd run out of cups, yes that is true, can you believe it!!! After waiting 20 minutes for our food, we were told that they didn't have any corn on the cob, so they refunded us for that too. The couple before us, had been waiting longer, had a full refund and left.The staff were told that one of the ordering computer stations wasn't printing out receipts, by at least 5 people and no-one did anything about that either.A dreadful experience, I was glad when it was over and I will never use a KFC, anywhere, again.

Called in for a late lunch on our way back to North Wales from Birmingham, needed fuel for the car & for our bellies. Staff mainly indifferent, happy to talk to one another over the servery counter but apparently only capable of serving one customer at a time, hence delaying the meals. Food alright for KFC but as in the norm in too many of their restaurants the fries were tepid/cold. Chips should be HOT!New eco friendly paper straws make drinking coke like sucking a golf ball through a hose pipe.

In July, I had the worst experience in KFC to date. I am absolutely fuming. Waited 18 minutes for my food. The staff had a proper attitude, were incapable of doing their job. Lacking basic manner. No teamwork whatsoever, in fact they were in competition to steal the food of each others’ hands. For example, one staff member was trying to select pieces of chicken and another pushed the tray in their way without saying anything right of the other staff’s hand. Manager couldn’t handle his team nor customer complaints. In fact a member of staff raised their voice at a customer.

This was a lunchtime treat for a family member who had just finished Wrekin College for the summer. What a disaster! Waited about ten minutes to be served by the counter staff, and then a further 30 to have our food! The order numbers just weren't even moving on the screen. Fast food? You could have caught and plucked the chickens quicker! The whole place was in uproar, as several parties of customers were all complaining and the staff were just shrugging their shoulders and carrying on serving the drive-thru customers!

Got a KFC delivery lastnight from here. The worst KFC I've ever had. Not only was the delivery half an hour late, the food was cold and it was inedible. It's not acceptable

Not once, not twice.... every time we order anything from this KFC there are missing items. EVERY TIME. I have never complained before but we have just waited a 2 hour wait for our food and it’s not even all in the bag. It happens every time and the service is just awful. Completely incompetent staff who have no intention of delivering any customer service!! I don’t know how this branch have been allowed to get it so wrong so consistently for so long...... it’s an absolute pathetic excuse for a functioning takeaway restaurant. They just can’t ever get it right.

Called in here 23rd june,ordered chicken strips and chips,and 2 coffees,got to table started eating,went to put sugar in coffee,no sugar,i said to my wife there is no sugar,she went back to counter,and was told they have no sugar left,she said i will have sweeteners,they said we have none,what a joke,the manager should look for another job,because he can't run that business,absolutely rubbish,i noticed reviews from other people were not very good,

Been here a few times in the past with no issues. This is the first time since the refit. And probably the last. Whilst we were served relatively quickly there was quite a delay for food. People who were ordering at the kiosks seemed to be waiting even longer.

For a fast food place it takes 25-30 min to get anything from drive through. Staff are rude Won’t be going back

I have visited this KFC on a number of occasions and every time it is a let down! The staff are slow, not up to the task and every now and again down right ignorant. Every time I have been to this KFC, they are missing something or have run out of something, normally you can’t get gravy as they have run out, but they have even run out of chicken in the past! Considering that’s what it sells, it shouldn’t have even been open! It’s poor at best!

Absolutely terrible customer service from till staff. Rude and unhelpful. I appreciate when there’s a rush on and they have a back order to clear. Waiting is a must but when the serving till staff look at a line of customers and eye balls them about 5 times. And takes a customer to ask are you taking orders from the tills. The staff reply been not from that one this one next to it.

Visited here twice in the past couple of days, the first time was Thursday evening, the first time I’d been since it’s make over, queued for 10minutes to be told they’d ran out of bread so not serving burgers so left it, the second time Sunday night to give it a try, got told at the drive thru they’d take my order in just a moment..... over 10 mins later still sat there so left, it wasn’t overly busy so bewildered as to why I wasn’t served, certainly won’t bother again, looking at the reviews I’m not the only one disgusted by the poor service, hope the management see the reviews and address the staff accordingly, they really shouldn’t be in business if they don’t want to serve people

Went to kfc trench lock telford . Well what can I say ...well under staffed. One girl on the counter with approx 10 customers . She did not have a bloody glue .messed the order up from the word go . The place was dirty the bins overflowing . And the food was not the best . Love kfc.but sorry to say will not be going back total disgrace...one unhappy customer

I've just been to the drive-thru I ordered one. Meal and one chicken and bacon meal as I was waiting for my meal I hear the girl Chelsea speaking to a driver taking a order she was on the main window where you collect the food she was very rude to the person she's taking the order from told them to stop talking to their passenger very rude . Then I waited 5 minutes and my order my food came I checked it my fries was missing , so I asked this girl called Chelsea for my fries said they were missing her reply was yes and rolled her eyes at me I then waited a few more minutes by this time I still not received my drink so I ask for fresh food as it was going very cold she grabbed the bag at my hand stormed off so I shouted to another work colleague asking for her to confirm the girls name she then shouted to Chelsea this woman wants your name Chelsea replied don't speak to that woman ignore her I then asked for the head office or area manager's phone number I was ignored by this girl so I shouted through the window to get me the manager a young boy with a black T-shirt wearing glasses came over to me was no older than 19 he was only a shift manager and was no help at all eventually he went to the back office and come back with a number I said I will be reporting it this girl with glasses baseball cap grey hoodie started waving at me bye bye go away bye bye I will not be spoken to like this the staff are rude the food was disgusting never will I go back there again

Came in for a rice box meal and there was a new girl on the till (glasses with dark hair in a bun under a kfc cap, I think her name was Sasha) who despite only being on her third day was friendly and helpful. The only down side to our visit were two extremely rude, obnoxious and arrogant nurses who felt that they were entitled to request a custom order and demand a blue light discount though they didn't appear to have any blue light cards and then complain about waiting around after they had confused the poor girl. Horrible customers but great staff.

Just been to this KFC (telford wrekin) Drive through sat ages waiting to place my order, nothing so I drove around and went inside and asked if they were open? The blonde girl on the counter said “yes” I told her I’d been sat at drive through for ages and she said it’s broken. No out of order signs,how hard can that be? So other people are not sat at drive through for ages. No apology, no thank you and a very miserable staff. I will never visit this takeaway again and wish I hadn’t gone in but my son wanted a KFC. A depressing dump, Sat Eve only one inexperienced person serving, very slow, long wait, filthy everywhere, toilets disgusting! Food poor, my first and LAST visit to a KFC!! Why do people come here? McDonalds is light years ahead of this poo hole!! 😫

Called into this KFC today and was less than impressed,the tables and floor in the restaurant were discussing and given that there were only 4 customers including ourselves one would of thought that the staff would of attended to that, the toilets were even worse with paper all over the floor a collapsed caution wet floor board on the floor and a filthy urinal and sinks, you should clean up your act guys if you had forgotten its a food outlet !!!

We called in for our tea on the way back to the nearby travelodge. The service we got was fine, friendly and helpful. The food was typical kfc, you know what to expect and it was fine. A comfortable meal.

Typical of most KFC the service was absolutely dreadful and waited well over 30mins. Food was cold with rude and careless staff. You can see why is empty most of the time

How disgusted to have a member of your team Chel!! Having such bad manners made mistake on our order so had to fetch a set of keys to sort the till only to throw them across the station!! Sorry this person should not be front of house!!!! Then got our meal home only to find half the chicken missing!!!

Went through the drive through at Wrekin Retail Park on Good Friday at about 12.50 lunch time and the guy where you pay your money clearly didn’t want to be there. There was no greeting no eye contact and he was rolling his eye no please or thank you. Come on guys it’s standard stuff.

Ordered a boneless family meal. Chicken strips were given instead of breast fillets. No cups for drinks. Coating used on chicken was barely used. Not at all like the usual high standards at other Branches.

Waited in the queue for 20 mins only to be told that they can only take cash. Large queue only 1 server. Went to get cash and came back to join the queue and waited and waited. Walked out to go through drive thru and waited then told that there is a delay. Should've have gone to McDonald's but promised the kids KFC.

What can you say it was one of the better KFC that we have been in. Needed food a drink and a break from driving.

Drive thru, only 1 car in front and over 5 minute wait just to place my order, then anger 10 minutes to get to the pay window, baring in mind there is only 1 car in front. Incorrect food! Being a drive thru i didn't check my meal until I got home, only to find it was incorrect. A shambles form start to finish. If I could give a 1 or even a minus I would.

Order time ages only ordered 2 popcorn chicken snack boxes and a plain mini fillet burger. The chips were like cardboard and the burger wasn't plain so couldn't eat it. If I had enough time I would of drove back and asked for my money back. Staff not friendly will not be going back.

Reading some other reviews I'm very surprised , my visit ,, now whilst sitting in here is as my heading states !!! EXCELLENT ,

La comida era muy sabrosa y completado nuestro gran orden bastante rápidamente. El personal es bastante amable, pero no tienen los mejores estándares de higiene en la cocina. Personal no mantener un ojo en las mesas, así que puede ser bastante sucio antes de que alguien viene a limpio. La comida es cara, pero eso es lo que esperaría para KFC en cualquier lugar

Visited with family today, place was quiet but staff standing round therefore a queue to order food with one til open. Staff asked if we wanted to order anything else, but didn't ask if we wanted drinks, thinking drinks came with the meal we forgot to order and had to rejoin the queue. Badly managed!

As per title. If you think you're going to get five star food from a chain like this then you are probably dining at the right place, and should keep coming here.Does me fine after I've done the Tesco shop every now and again, but I wouldn't take your daughter there on a date.

We don't usually do KFC but we fancied a change , food was ok but staff seemed slow ( I'm not sure if it normal for KFC) . We sat down with our meal to discover our order was incomplete and so was other people and it wasn't busy at the time also we were told they'd run out of napkins at 12:30 pm .. not the best of experience should've gone next door to McDonald's

Ordered the new Christmas burger meal and there wasn't any hash browns or sweet corn, he still made me pay for the whole meal! didn't even take anything off the price as it had items missing!!won't be returning.

Going through the drive through is useless, I ask for no legs, I end up with legs, I ask for salt, yes sir the salt is in the bag, ha no salt, how stupid can people be.

Only one person serving with a big que, eventually got served then told had to wait for food to be cooked. Waited 10 mins as was told it would be brought over to find they gave our food to other customers so had to wait longer by that time we gave up a got money back. Worst thing was just finished work as we was all hungry so all in all was there 25 mins for nothing. Waste of time and space, the place is a joke.

Haven't been here for a long time, but was in the area so called in. The restaurant was clean and tidy (unlike the last time I was here)anyways ordered the bargain lunch box( 2 chicken strips and xlarge fries)large gravy and a tango all of which was eaten without any quibble the chicken was moist and the fries were generally crisp the gravy was thick enough to coat the food and stay put,the tango was a little weak in the flavour department but that's a minor niggle,well done the team that served me today!

Dreadful had to pull up and wait for food, then when I asked for barbecue sauce to make sure it was in the bag guess what there wasn't any. This has happened so many times from the same place you shouldn't have to go through your food to check on the orders. I'm sick of the same service we get from here

There's been many time we have visited KFC for us to be told they don't have the item we want and the last time we didn't even receive the bottle of pepsi that came with our meal, when asked they said they had no pepsi but offered an alternative, we were then waiting up to 3 minutes for this alternative bottle of pop to then be accused of them already giving it to us and us trying to get another free one by the same guy who offered us the alternative. Since then we haven't returned to this branch, Trench is much better service and quality.

Today I visited this KFC and ordered a Fillet Tower Burger Meal with a Pepsi. I got my Pepsi. I got my fries. I did not get my Fillet Tower Burger. Instead, I got a Zinger Tower. A simple mistake, but I really really REALLY hate Zinger sauce because it's too hot and spicy. Seeing as there were already people waiting a long time for their meals, I decided not to bother the staff regarding this, so I just ate the burger with much distaste and loathing after scraping as much sauce as I could off of the burger. Still, how can they mess up such a simple order? I experienced something similar on my previous visit a couple of weeks ago. I ordered a Fillet Tower Burger. I got my fries and my drink. But I did not get my Fillet Tower Burger. Instead I just got a Fillet Burger. No hash brown was to be seen which made me sad because I do love a good hash brown. My partner also ordered a burger but asked for no fries. He got fries.Seriously ?? How can they mess up such simple orders? Either the staff are not trained correctly or they are simply too incompetent and have zero interest in their jobs that they cannot follow a simple order. I shall not be eating here again and will be going to a more decent KFC.

I do not understand how their staff can be trained to work with Food when they can't even understand a simple message to follow safe instructions about allergies or Issues - I'm not aloud peppercorn mayo it Gives me a severe feeling I can't breath and burning sensations in my Throat which makes me cough severely I'm asthmatic and It kicks it Right off o specific stated no peppercorn mayo just plain oh no once sat down i bit into my wrap and sudden felt myself coughing severely etc it's so dangerous they don't follow instructions - they joke around in the back throw food shout and talk about sex an sexual content Gross

Have given up with this kfc, have been a few times and each time the food is cold, stale, over cooked. I think because it doesn't get busy the food is kept drying out under heat lights. Choose McDonald's next door or go to trench lock kfc if you really fancy chicken!

Well I have been a regular visitor at this branch for a long time now such a pleasant atmosphere and the food is always A1. hygiene overall is excellent staff are very helpful and polite And they always try and cater for your needs Well Done Team

Having not been here for almost two years after a disastrous 'meal' I don't know what possessed us to give it another go but we're so glad we did.In fact, after visiting at the weekend we then went back again a few days later to confirm we hadn't been dreaming.Both times we ordered a Variety Bucket from the drive through. Both times we were served quickly and the food was delicious. Even though we are a five-minute drive away the food was still piping hot. Our bucket contained moist white chicken pieces with a herby, crispy skin (just as I remember it was when I was a teenager looking forward to KFC as a treat), tender fillets, juicy wings and popcorn chicken which (after last time's bullet-like offerings) actually resembled popcorn and proved very moreish.I'm not sure when the turnaround happened, but we're sorry we didn't give it another go sooner. All credit to the staff who must have put in a lot of effort to bring the restaurant up to a decent standard. Not just on a par with similar restaurants - definitely a class above. We won't leave it as long next time - please don't let us down!

It took 15 mins to get served with only three people in front of me. The young lady taking the orders was painfully slow. Fortunately, she wasn't dishing up as well or we'd have been there for ever.I ordered a snack box meal specifying the type and drink. I was then asked what kind of snack box I wanted and what drink.I ordered my meal large. The drink came large but the fries supplied were regular. When I pointed this out, I was also given a large fries so I guess that was a bonus of some sort. The chap served before me also had to ask for his order to be corrected - an extra piece of chicken was missed off. I take it that the server wasn't reading the orders properly which is just lazy.Cleanliness was poor. Many tables needed wiping down, no member of staff attempted to do so in the 40 mins or so that we were there. I also noticed part way through the meal that the tray I'd been given had dried on residue from a previous customer's meal. Again, laziness or sheer disinterest by the staff.It wouldn't take much effort to improve so "terrible" is a fair rating.

If I could of rated lower I would of staff were rude and customer service doesn't exist staff spent more time chatting to each other than serving. Restaurant was dirty and and work surfaces around food area were also unclean Expensive for this level of service

Appalling behaviour from one of the female members of staff after trying to order a drive through meal..I complained and have to say the on duty store manager was very nice and put my name down for a free meal, but I will not be going back to get it. Staff who speak to customers the way she did deserve to be fired.!

just spent £17 on deluxe boneless meal.. chicken varied in size from half decent to thumb size. best part was the coldslaw.. and I don't like coldslaw

Where as the place looks clean there is a smell that is not pleasant which put me off my food. I will not be re-visiting.

Turned up, On Tuesday, to find out Tuesday deal night was over. Served by a nice young lady who had no idea what to do, she had to asked another waitress (Who thought it was the end of the world to help) Miserable long face. I asked if they did NHS discount as this is quite common, They didn't (Fair enough You do get very little extra in Telford as it's full of doley's) But to be told that with a smirk on her face as if it was a cheek to ask. Anyway 4 Fries tipped into bottom of box and chicken cold.

The visit started with a lovely welcome from a young lady who took our order, we were eating late after finishing work late (9.30pm)....we were hungry so looking forward to some hot chicken...sadly not ....cold chicken, cold chips, we ordered 2 corn on the cobs...none available....REALLY!!!!! Do yourself a favour go the extra mile and visit the Madeley Branch....we have been there several times and its been great but in particular the food is hot....!

Called here at the drive through on Saturday evening. Ordered the food from a really nice young man. He was very happy helpful. However when we got home and opened our food, 2 bags of chips were empty and in the bottom of the bag and our boneless chicken pieces were mostly broken into small bits. There were only 6 that were whole. Very disappointed!

Can't be a coincidence I visited KFC twice once sat again on wed.Had 3 peices both times. Tasted OK but obviously something's not right.Maybe its the unusually warm weather playing a part.Both times it seemed pretty deserted though.

Great customer service was provided, quick and speedy with providing the food and the quality of was great despite the fact I am quite fussy with my order.

Poor meal really most KFC look unclean premises visited 3 kfc 2 in telford and one in Darlington by far the worst take away I've ever tasted and one of the most expensive but the unclean looking premises is off putting

We ordered two meals, one with a drink with no ice. We checked with the server that she wasn't adding ice to the drink. She confirmed no ice was being added but when we got to the table the drink had ice in it!!Apart from the ice issue, the food was nice and hot and the restaurant was warm unlike the one at Trench Lock which is always cold.

Visited lasy month to buy a family bucket with bottle of drink and 2 side orders. Usual menus available and reasonable prices.This KFC is OK if you are in a hurry and need something quick to take home.Staff good, tables clean, toilets OK. Plenty of parking on the retail park.

Okay for a quick chicken fix, now and again, I wouldn't go every week, but if you like chicken its the place for you. Don't understand the beans though.

The staff are very polite and friendly and the food is fast, hot and great quality. Nothing seems too much trouble. Thank you.

Went to the drive through and no one was at the first window, waited a few minutes by no one arrived someone was at second window but ignored us so I just drove off and went to McDonald's

Felt ignored as the staff talked about their personal problems for a while before acknowledging me. Went to the counter twice, same problem both times. Food was ok.

Went there Saturday 30th may 2015 and it was awful they had no sweetcorn ready was gonna be 20 minutes and only 1 person on till while the boss sat on his fat bottom in the office grrrr while the poor guy on the till struggle so we had to wait 20 minutes for our meal then when it came the chips was not normal kfc chips they was more like McDonald's chips but very well over done and the chicken wasn't to good even think in my wrap I had a piece that was a bit pink both me and my partner came home feeling not to clever and poorly stomachs and why is it you never have clean tables always dirty and the floor and not cleared away ? Maybe if the boss spent more time on the shop floor than in his office and help his staff out more services wouldn't be so bad defo won't be going there again the only thing it had going for it was the 1 lad that seviced us he was very pleasant and kept apologies for our wait so thank you to him just sorry i dont know his name. So thank you kfc for spoiling our dinner with your bad food and dirty restaurant I will not be returning to here again and I would advise many others to stay clear too

Went through drive through. Spent 20 minutes queuing behind 2 cars. Yes that's right 20 minutes behind 2 cars!!!!Ordered subcharger wrap meal (includes fries and drink) and a plain fillet tower burger and fries for the wife.Finally reached the last window only to be told to park in the red bay. Looking through the restaurant window I noticed about 5 or 6 people inside. An additional 5 minutes later a bag containing the food came out. I thought I would just check it and noticed that one of the portions of fries was missing. I got out the car and marched inside to get the fries they left out. The boy behind the counter asked for my receipt as he said they didn't make mistakes.For gawds sake!!!So I went back out got the receipt and returned to be told that he will now have to tell off the staff. "Forget that" I said "I think I've waited long enough, I just want my fries"2 minutes later I received my half portion of fries which he obviously didn't feel i deserved to have a proper portion. By now the steam was pouring from my ears. I went back to my car only to discover that the chips were cold.Supposed to be a quick stop turned out to be 30 or so minutes to be spoken to like a piece of cackAbsolutely furious!!Management should train staff better.Horrendous

I have always been a fan of the zinger tower burger. When cooked from fresh and served hot it is one of my favourite 'sin' snacks. When served cold, chicken not fresh and staff standing around chatting then that is disappointing! Come on KFC, step it up please....

Dirtiest restaurant I have ever eaten in bar none. Staff uninterested even though the restaurant was empty. Tables unwiped, toilet filthy, a really poor experience. Never again. First time in a kfc in years and it will certainly be the last.

If I could mark a zero I would! The place is filthy, we wiped our own table with wipes, rubbish everywhere, tables and floor minging. Food was rubbish. Kids meals were meant to come with a sundae and instead got a innocent suck yogurt which kids didn't like. Wasn't willing to queue again as service was so slow the first time. Would NOT recommend!

For my fathers birthday he wanted a simple take away, we saw KFC were doing a deal for 9 pieces for £5.99 so we decided to buy two of these (11.98), a bbq wrap (£1.47) and two corn on the cobs (£1.49) totalling in £14.94. We went through the drive through and the total came up to £15.94 and paid with a £20 but we didn't think anything of it at the time. Then when we went to collect our food I checked the bag to see we were missing A) the two corn on the cobs and B) the receipt (so we couldn't even check to see if we were charged although we blatantly were), we then politely asked them were our corn was to be told we didn't order them (if this was the case we would not of of been charged the amount we did as two 9 pieces is £11.98 and one wrap is £1.59 totalling in £13.57 and I only had £4.06 change) we then asked if we could just buy two corn on the cobs as we were in a rush and didn't think to ask twice, I then realised while leaving we had paid twice for corn on the cobs and also had £1 added to our total (goodness knows where that went). Therefore my boyfriend went inside to speak to them and they spoke to him in a derogative manner and said they're not giving us a refund or even an apology for that matter! not forgetting to mention this took 20.. yes 20 minutes to do this. Therefore when we got our food home is was cold and unappetising just because of KFC's awful employees. Seriously wouldn't reccomend ANYONE to go here, pathetic customer service!

Visited here for the first time yesterday. Went there instead of a pub/restaurant as wanted something quick. Wish I'd read the reviews. Yes it is slow, yes the staff are clueless and don't understand the very basics of food service, customer care or how to be remotely efficient. This is not their fault, it is the managers. Who was not visible at any point. The fact that the person serving explained the wait by saying "This is the worst time to come, its always busy" clearly show mismanagement in practice. They ran out of salads and zingers! At their busiest time! Very disappointing.
