KFC in Canterbury

If I could give 0 stars I would! Ordered for delivery at 16.50. Order took 2 hours to be delivered arriving at 18.50. Food was stone cold when we got it. Very very disappointed and annoyed.

Rubbish, l ordered a 10 piece bucket and got 10 leg pieces, nothing else. Fries were awful too, you do expect that with KFC but these were particularly bad

Great place to eat if you want to lose weight! Stood outside KFC in Canterbury last night whilst the kids tossed a coin between KFC or GDK (German Doner Kebab) immediately next door. Sadly they chose KFC... Unlike any other KFC I've ever been in this place is an absolute disgrace. The tables were filthy despite there being hardly anybody in there and rubbish and food left all over the floor. The toilets were equally disgusting with hand towels strewn over the floor from the overflowing bin. Total spend of just over £80 for a group of 7 of us!!! My advice go next door and hopefully avoid whatever diseases you might pick up in KFC. All in all very disappointing and an embarrassment for Canterbury for any tourists that might visit.

Went in for food - been in before and never had bad food - always hot and tasty but if You choose to sit in, you will certainly be surrounded by the floor full or rubbish or tables full with rubbish. On this occasion 2 members of staff were behind the counter chatting when the place could of done with a clean up! It looked awful. People visiting Canterbury would be shocked if they decided to go for a KFC. Clean up your restaurant - it’s a mess!!!

Went for lunch with my parents and as you walk in you can see that the tables do not get cleaned regularly and you can also see that the bins do not get empty and they where overflowing with rubbish and there was food on the floor. The staff in the are very slow with my order I would not recommend for anyone to go in there with there friends or family to get food.

My teenage daughter and her two friends all got food poisoning after sharing a meal from this branch in the early afternoon. By the following morning all three had vomiting and /or bowel difficulties. It’s clearly no coincidence. The chicken must have been contaminated in my opinion.

My God I don’t know where to start with the so called MANAGER..... unbelievably rude highly disrespectful his attitude stink.Honestly I don’t want to be harsh but come on harsh is not an appropriate word to use.Seriously he needs a good education with regard to dealing with people.I think KFC should be ashamed of themselves to have people like him on their brunch without any knowledge of his behaviour.How dear you treat courier driver the way you think it’s right.

I am so shocked that the so called managers are allowed to act the way they do!.They talk to there young staff like utter crap and sorry but seem rather rude especially to the one young English girl who works there!.The owner of this branch should be ashamed for how it is run and needs to do a massive shack up fast!.I have done my research to find the owner is called Darren but unable to obtain contact details or would be contacting him direct!.Gabby being the worst of them ,totally not manager level at all!.Store is a mess the food is slapped together place is an avoid at all costs!.Really hope Darren looks at this reviews and if does feel free to contact me I will be more than happy to fill you in!.

Delivery order (COVID) ordered a classic chicken burger and a bargain bucket . Delivery service excellent however shame I can’t say the same for the food. The chicken in the burger was over cooked, tough and dry- the chickens coating which KFC are so famous for had no taste at all and so crunch due to where it had been overcooked. The chicken in the bargain bucket was not much better - again over cooked- and coating dry and crunchy Sadly this is not the first time we experienced rubbish food at this KFC but we thought we would give them another try but again greatly disappointed. We will not be going back

Visité hoy con mi familia el 7 de diciembre y todo estaba muy frío, lo retomó y un miembro del personal llamado Maria me dijo que nos habíamos sentado allí durante 20 minutos cuando recibimos nuestra comida y solo nos sentamos durante 6 minutos, le mostramos a un miembro del personal llamado angel y ella fue increíble, pero el otro miembro del personal fue grosero, no había habilidades de servicio al cliente que quisieran discutir cuando lo único que queríamos era comida caliente. ¡Pidió que se cambiara y dijo que no podía cambiar la hamburguesa, solo podía calentarla en el microondas! Ahora, para alguien como yo, trabajo en servicio al cliente y venta minorista. . y no se atrevería a hablar con nadie de la manera en que ella me habló y mi compañero nos llamó mentirosos a pesar de que el otro miembro del personal incluso estuvo de acuerdo con nosotros y ella vino a disculparse cuando no era su pensamiento. Pero, sin embargo, María no dio ni siquiera simpatía ni disculpas. . Siento pena por el personal si puede hablar con los clientes de esta manera. . la pobre niña se disculpó en nombre de esta persona que actuaba. El gerente solicitó un número de teléfono y se negó a dármelo, al final solo pidió que me devolvieran el dinero. . ¡No volveré a visitar este establecimiento de nuevo y espero que vuelvan a capacitar al personal, especialmente a alguien que actúa como un pesebre!

Came in for a quick lunch, however whilst the chicken looked all right the queues were to big for a quick lunch. I believe it was caused by lots of tourists who were unable to use machines, may have been a language issue.

Vine aquí con los niños por primera vez como un regalo para ellos. Estaba realmente impresionado. Mi marido y yo tuvimos las cajas de arroz que eran absolutamente fabulosas. Me encantó que vinieran con ensalada y una selección de pollo o verduras si vegetariano. Los niños tenían comida para niños y ambos los amaban. Debo admitir que no me di cuenta de que podías tener tantas opciones en KFC y ciertamente no un almuerzo que se sintiera relativamente saludable bajo 500 cal.Fue genial que la comida de los niños pudiera venir con un yogurt también.Nuestro hijo de 5 años dijo '¡Esto es mucho mejor que Macdonalds! ' ¡Así que ahí estás! Toda la aprobación que necesites.

I have just turned veggie this year. I know it is a chicken restaurant but there was only a rice or salad bowl as a veggie option.

Había estado en un juego de cricket lavado en la calle. Lawrence Grd, llamado para obtener algunos pedazos de pollo frito del sur. Solo había un cliente en la tienda, por lo que el servicio fue muy rápido. El tipo que nos atendió fue amable y servicial, pidió comida y se fue del restaurante. Habíamos esquivado los truenos, los relámpagos y la lluvia, y habíamos devuelto un taxi al Hotel. La comida estaba bien cocinada bien.

Conseguimos KFC como un regalo para un sábado por la noche, no deberíamos habernos molestado ya que el cubo de 6 piezas tenía 3 baquetas que deben haberse caído de un micro pájaro y los muslos eran tan pequeños que los pájaros de los que venían deberían avergonzarse poseer hasta ser los dueños de ellos. La comida no vale la pena y yo diría que gastar su dinero en comida mejor que la próxima vez que lo hagamos.

One of the best kfc. Always hot and fresh and rapid service in comparison. The hot wings are to die for.

Honestly, The best thing Canterbury has going on a Sunday evening. The fries tasted a bit odd - possibly defrosted - but the chicken was well seasoned. Bless Up

Lo dejé para llevar por primera vez en más de 10 años a KFC a las 8. 30 p. M. Condujo a casa a 5 minutos. La comida estaba seca y no comestible. Frío, chips duros y pollo seco. La ensalada de col era lo único que valía la pena comer. No volveremos

The food at this KFC is the best I have had. The chicken is always tasty whereas in some other KFC's the chicken can sometimes be an odd texture.

Found the food to be good as expected on a franchise restaurant. Having said that staff could be a little more friendly

Even if the food is typical of KFC, the place is really dirty inside. Staff wasn't trying its best and since the floor and the tables were so dirty I do not want to imagine what is going on in the kitchen.

I just love the 'original' KFC. At its best it's the supreme fried chicken. But NOT here at this outlet! Four of my last five visits have produced well below standard food and the last straw came yesterday. Empty restaurant yes, but only one member of staff both taking and dispatching orders. After a short wait my order for a '2-piece original meal' arrived.The chicken pieces were dry, chewy and overcooked and the chips? Well, the chips were soggy, cold and chewy. Most obviously not freshly cooked. At least the coffee was drinkable. How hard can it be to cook a few bits of chicken and ready made chips? It's their business for goodness sake! The counter staff are great but I will not be calling again.

Why would you even contemplate this place. Dodgy "meat" burgers, a stench that you can smell 3 blocks down the street. Antiquated machinery and staff that are terrible at their "jobs".Blot on the landscape to avoid.

My autistic sister and I waited then a young girl said 'can I help?' As soon as I went to her she went off and did something else and completely ignored us, no apology, I caught the guy's attention but he said he was busy, the one other girl at the till started serving the woman behind me, we just walked out and went to Chicken Cottage down the road who were far better. The worst kfc so far, the one in Dover and Folkestone are better run and we always found seating, will not go back to this one, chaotic!

This is a pretty ghastly place, into which I was propelled yesterday evening by my granddaughters, who thought it would a trendy place to eat. Well, the staff were certainly welcoming, you can’t say it’s all automated as in the nearby McDonalds. There is flexibility in what you choose to have in the kiddies’ boxes and the prices are reasonable. Healthy eating it is not, nor is the seating comfortable, and the garish lighting adds to the unpleasantness of the experience, although at least you can see what you are having to consume. I must however emphasise again that the stall were helpful and dedicated.

Fast food voltado para frango frito, por isso, os pratos são bem pesados, e podem te deixar satisfeito por um bom tempo. Cuidado com os pratos apimentados, porque são muito apimentados. Like any old KFC. Good chicken, chips and value. Very clean and has disabled access. Nice staff and dining areas.

KFC, just like mackie d's have decided to launch an order at one place, get an Argos style ticket and then wait for your number to be called out to pick up your order. Absolute carnage. Branch absolutely mobbed. Tourists everywhere not knowing what to do and where to go. I can understand the benefits behind automation, quick service tills, banking with machines, contact less payments but I cannot see the benefit with this. The food still is ordered with a human and made by a human. It is the screamed out that the order is ready and you push your through the crowd to pick the items up.I think KFC have made an error and I cannot see how this will save money or improve service. Finally in all the chaos my order was wrong when I got back to the office and had to go back and change it. The total experience 26 minutes.

Usually find KFC food to be fairly edible - not my choice but my grandson loves it and it was his treat. This must be the worst food. Staff are quite unfriendly and quite aggressive barking out the orders and almost throwing the food at you no please no thank you. We ordered 2 trilogy meals - cold soggy bun with a rubbery zinger burger a very mini cold chicken fillet and cold chewy popcorn chicken and soggy cold chips, best bit was the drink which would take quite a bit to ruin. Tables were left uncleared and we had to clear our table to sit down in a not particularly busy restaurant. Now we know why go - elsewhere plenty of fast food places who actually want your custom nearby.

Went here today for lunch with my husband, 12yr old son, 3year old daughter and 6 month old daughter. We arrived at 12 and waited a few minutes for someone to leave a table as there seemed to be lots of single people taking up 6 seater tables and not using the 2 seater ones. We had a boneless banquet box which was fine for our family. Tasted the same as every other kfc. The bit which let this kfc down was when our baby needed a bottle!! We asked for hot water to warm it as she will not drink it cold and were told no, they also said they couldnt heat it for us because of health and safety. They then proceeded to tell us we could buy a cup of tea and have the hot water?????? Completely crazy! My husband nipped a few doors down to burger king who kindly heated the bottle for us and then came back into kfc! Macdonalds and burger king both heat bottles as do many other food outlets, so why would you like our baby to starve kfc??
