KFC in West Berkshire

Ordered a KFC for the family via Uber Eats. Unfortunately, my sister did not check the bag before accepting the order off the delivery guy. 2 bags of chips missing, all the corn on the cobs missing and all the gravy missing (basically of of our sides even though they were on the bag as part of the order). 30 mins of round the house phone calls to KFC and Uber to get a partial refund which will take 15 days to process. And tbf, what food we did receive was luke warm. Absolutely terrible KFC of which I will never order from again.

Why is it that every time we order... there's something missing from the order... 4 lots of chips!!!!! And wouldn't answer the f phone!!!

Disgusting! First off the you get all the way through ordering but payment part not working. The manager said yes he new that it wasn't working! So why not put a notice on it? The meal was awful and the place filthy. Bin overflowing and dirty tables. Never again.

Pity you can't score a zero So there am I, sitting at home hungry not had a KFC in ages. I think I'll get one but it's bonfire night. Never mind they must deliver? Nope. So I drive there the machine isn't loading properly so I go to the old school till. I order 3 pieces and chips l. Order comes quickly. I grab it and shoot off. The parking is pants at this location and people block you in. I race home to beat the guy Fawkes traffic. I get in the door and get to the kitchen. I open the bag that thinking here we go first one since before lockdown. There's 3 portions of chips in there. New commences a lot of swearing and a to be of disappointment. Actually not that much as the chips were soggy and not like the KFC I recall. KFC Newbury sort yourseleves out !!!

Place is a joke incompetent staff ques and a filthy floors overflowing bins and when asked if anyone could clean a table etc I got rolled eyes from the staff, gobsmacked ain't the word !!!!! No one cares there, no hygiene at all, god knows what the toilets looked like

cold food and rude staff As a chef absolutely would be ashamed to serve food this poor Take pride in your job next time

Had a chicken meal.. don't know how to describe chicken was oliey and filthy..fat chips were very soggy Really really disappointed. I have gave them one star I couldn't select zero.

I ordered a meal at KFC last year it was my first ever time to eat from a kfc in Newbury and in my meal I found 6 green chips in my meal which instantly put me off my meal. This has never happen to me in any others KFCs

Just had our second delivery of KFC 10 bucket Chicken and both times it has been all leg pieces -no breast or wings -not happy!

This KFC has, without a doubt, the rudest manager I have ever had the misfortune of encountering in my entire life. We will NEVER go there again. He clearly cannot keep staff so it was mayhem to the point that he appeared to be having a nervous breakdown. We noticed that it was closed last night, I wouldn't be surprised if none of the staff had turned up as he speaks to everyone as though they are dog dirt on his shoe. Woeful never to be repeated experience.

absolutely awful experience ' waited 2 hours for our food to arrive , when it turned up it was cold but we were so hungry we ate it ' when the driver turned up he told me he was made to wait for 45 minutes before he was allowed to leave with deliveries ' i can safely say I will NEVER use just eats EVER again.

Absolutely awful experience tonight. We got home with our dinner and half our meal was missing, if we went back the rest of the food would of been cold. My kids were very upset that they didn’t get any chips only chicken. Everytime we go to this kfc we always have things missing. We won’t be using kfc again!

Every time we go to Newbury KFC we always have a terrible experience. We only go back because the food is tasty, however I won’t choose to again. Every time they forget half the order and the service isn’t great. The food is evidently left out a while so sometimes isn’t fresh. Disappointing experience tonight where they forgot several bits of the order.

Called in for a quick snack. Food was OK but the place was disgusting. Dirty tables, toilets out of order apart from the disabled one which was filthy and there was nothing to dry your hands on - hand drier was not working! Worst KFC I have had the misfortune to visit. Avoid

Called in to takeaway a meal for my son who wanted 2 wraps without cheese as allergic to it but when it was opened at home both had melted cheese all inside so he couldn't eat any & decided not to drive all the way back as would cost more in petrol than the food did. It even said without cheese on the receipt but they still got it wrong. Had to wait a while to be served as well & the car park is awful, very small spaces to get into. Won't be going here again.

Very disappointed. Picked my husband up from bus station tonight after he had spent all day on a coach down from Scotland in this awful heat, so thought a quick trip to KFC for dinner would make sense. The service was so slow there were more people waiting for food than eating. All the tables were filthy and floor so sticky your feet stuck. There were no napkins on the main help yourself section either.

A purchased a party bucket from this store and when I returned home opened it to discover that the bucket was missing hot wings and also the boneless chicken. Very disappointed - check your order before you leave the store!

Stopping off after a day of competing in Dog Agility. Went to KFC for dinner. I was served quickly and staff were friendly and polite. Food was really hot. ordered a family feast bucket and nothing was missing. Can't complain and it tasted really nice. ☺️

Dirty horrible place , rude staff definitely never returning... clean the place up kfc Maybe a franchise but it’s your name above the door 🤷‍♂️

I was really looking forward to having a KFC in Newbury & now we have. I love KFC as my treat takeaway & I have always found this one to be OK food wise. I've never experienced overly greasy or cold food but let's face it, it's a fast food take away so unless they do anything spectacular there's not much more you can say about it. I do agree with other reviews on here. I've had occasions when gravy wasn't available, annoying as that's a staple on our order! Bottled Pepsi Max can be hit & miss too even though it is offered on some of the deals. By far the worst part & something they need to work on is the environment. I've been in when the floors have been dirty, bins overflowing & tables unwiped. I never sit in so doesn't effect me. One place I'll never visit is the toilet unless I am absolutely busting & cant make it anywhere else, they are pretty grim. The staff are not the warmest or sometimes clued up, I think the have quite a few "newbies" coming through the door. There is one lady I have seen a few times & she is always pleasant & helpful. No one is rude with the exception of 1 guy who frankly should not have a customer facing job. He claimed to be the manager when I complained about his attitude. Having said all this I still go back, I just don't visit the loo or get served by the rude "manager". Would I if there was another KFC in town...possibly not!

Really disappointed to visit today and to be told that despite all their promotions on the TV about their Chicken Gravy that they had none and wouldn't have any all day.....I've been avoiding fast food for 3 months and was going to reward myself as today was the end of the fast food ban so walked in the KFC really excited and left disappointed...

Well the food was as it always is with KFC ok, had i gone to the toilet before eating i wouldn't of ate here they are disgusting. The staff aren't the most pleasant either.

This is the worst KFC we have been to. Why is it not the same as reading \ Swindon drive through we had to throw our food away. How can this KFC be so different from the others. I would not recommend.

Kate is honestly terrible. When we entered the store she was serving someone and there was another person infront of us. So 3 orders total including ours. We waited about 7 or 8 minutes to be served and when she was making up the order infront of us she didn't say "I'll be with you in a moment" or "won't be long thanks for waiting" no, she decided "wait a minute" was the more appropriate option. I asked for a bacon and cheese box meal with no ketchup or mayo, just lettuce. The first time she put it through she took off the cheese and bacon as well. So she cancelled the whole order and did it again. This time she still got it wrong as she took off the lettuce, I said "no I wanted the lettuce" to which she responded "Oh. Well I've taken it off" and looked at me blankly, I honestly couldn't watch her cancel it and mess it up again so I just said it didn't matter. And she said "ok. I'll leave it" so that was a great start to the magnificent customer service. She makes no effort to be polite or friendly and instead of saying "what sides would you like?" She prefers to just mutter "sise" at you, which we both thought was her asking us what size meal we wanted. So said regular and she repeated louder "sise" as if she was irritated with us. No Pepsi cherry available which was a shame but in fairness not her fault, but again, no effort to be polite. Just "we don't have it". The tray for sachets of mayo was dirty and covered in spilt mayo. It took a good 3 or 4 minutes to order 2 box meals and a further 5 to get the food. She is scruffy and rude, and customers were getting visibly frustrated with the general speed with which she operates and lack of service. The only thing I saw her do well was clean tables...which were already clean and no one had sat at... Honestly my other half has been trying to convince me to go to kfc for months and I've never been keen but I relented today and had kfc for the first time in about 12 years and I can safely say I will not be rushing back.

Dripping with grease, mixture of hot and cold chicken....the cold chicken the grease had started solidifying into lard and overall a shambles! Wouldn't even give 1 star

We were so looking forward to having a KFC in Newbury but it doesn't even resemble a KFC you would get any where else, Chicken is dry and greasy, fries luke warm, Keep tring every 6 months or so in the hope it would get better but it doesn't. I now travel to Reading when I want a real KFC which is scrummy

They've never messed up my order, I always get what I order though service can be slow in the early evening, Its business like rather than friendly. Parking still limited but its convenient location next to the A339.

Popped into here for a quick take away after a busy day out. Whilst queuing to place our order we could not believe the state of the floor! There were only a couple of tables in the restaurant. The staff didn’t seem run off their feet but the floor was absolutely covered in rubbish! Really put me off and I certainly would not have wanted to eat in there surrounded by it.

Unless you like queuing for ages due to the normal one slow person serving don't waste your time here . Its supposed to be fast food ! What a joke, I gave up and left on a Friday night at 10pm.

Never a real fan of off. But family like it . It was ok . Little bit oily as someone else said . But staff helpfull and freindly. Was sat lunch time and very quiet

We were attempting to dine at this (not so) fine establishment when, to our horror, some unruly youths came in and began to express some views which greatly offended me and my family. When the valient manager came to my rescue to save me from these barbarians, he was laughed at and ridiculed. I believe we need stronger leadership in this time of strife such that this venerable institution may maintain its family friendly status, as this man did not possess the strength to fend off this attack on our children. This happened at 2100 on the 9th of February 2018, and I hope the staff on duty can learn from this review and seek to keep KFC the family restuarant it should really be. The guy serving chicken was excellent 9.93/10

We like KFC very occasionally as our "Customer Journey" with KFC has always been unsatisfactory, the chips usually soggy and luke warm but the basic product very tasty.

Restaurant was clean. Staff were efficient and friendly. Wait time reasonable. Food was what you expect it to be.

Popped in and was served very quickly. The food was hot and very tasty. The staff were friendly and efficient and we be going back very soon.

Visited early evening to collect a take away. Tables looked like had not been cleared for a few hours. All most as much rubbish in parking area which had others not wanted KFC would have just left. Service was slow. Food was well usual KFC so as expected and ok. The KFC car park is very small and tight if you drive a larger vehicle like me but ample pay and display parking nearby. Would we visit again? No. next nearest KFC some distance away so will save KFC for when elsewhere.

Quieres pollo, lo tienen por el bucketload. No estoy seguro de por qué es una Navidad en Japón, pero KFC es justo lo que esperas por todas partes. Es rápido, es el pollo.

No puedo creer que una gran organización como KFC no tener personal en orden las mesas y wc. Sucio, maloliente y grasiento instalaciones. Como no comer ahí las piernas y mamas solicite más costillas y alas en vez pero me dijeron por el personal que no es Ali y fue posible poco grosero y nada servicial. He comido allí muchas veces y cada vez que tengamos la misma solicitud y siempre obligan. ¿Cuál es el punto para mí para pedir cosas que no comer? ? ? ? Y además, no es algo tan difícil para el servidor para hacer. El personal damas son más servicial y educado.

Esta una revisión de la KFC en servicios Membury RG17 7TZ. No en Newbury. Si necesita sustento mientras que yendo en coche por la M4 en Berkshire puede ser tentado de probar el KFC en Membury. Es correcto, pero poco más. Menú estándar de kfc...

Suits the need for a quick bite to eat perfectly ... good loyalty scheme, fair prices and adequate chicken (though dripping with grease). Self service machines are an excellent idea and balanced perfectly with a good number of till-points to lead to well managed queues. Overall, I would revisit.

So, KFC Newbury is like any other fast-food restaurant with staff behind tills handing food over and a busy atmosphere

don't often go here but had a takeaway recently. Not great customer experience, long queues and not really fast food !

Went in to grab a quick takeaway lunch for my son and myself, 2 lunch boxes and hot wings, as this was at around 11am thought it would be freshly cooked however both of us ended up with upset stomachs, enough said

This is just what you'd expect from a KFC, the chicken is good, in fact probably as good as the chicken in many other KFCs.The service is fine, they have never got my order wrong. They could probably do with cleaning the tables a bit more frequently and it would be nice if they had more parking or ideally a drive through but that said it is offset by being within walking distance of the town centre.

Went to kfc go there quite a bit but after this visit don't think I will be going again any time soon as the girl that served me was very rude and unpleasant she had purple streaks in her hair so will definitely not go again

i got a lot for my money in this KFC and was pleased! it was rather busy due to going just after the races but that couldnt be helped. friendly staff just a little unorganised but its KFC in it. enjoyed the food!

We normally go to membury but we thoughtas we was in newbury we would go there.bad mistake. Only one person serving. We have to tell him to slow down when speakingas we could not understand but he was doing his best and got us served quick.we had our food to take away.they forgot our drink so had to go back for thatgot in the car .put the bag on my lap and noticed it was leaking .the gravy had Been put upside down .the chicken was pouring with fat.chips were cold .NEVER AGAIN

This is not what you expect form a KFC... I would rather travel to Reading for a KFC bucket than go here, tried a few times never enjoyed it

After shopping in Newbury decided to pop in for a bite to eat. First time of ever going in to the Newbury one we would normally go to the one on green bridge Swindon I never thought they would be that different being the same company, The building is quite small and the decoration is tired, It didn't help that despite only a few people sat at tables most tables had rubbish on them. The toilets were small and smelly and in the ladies there was I only assume wee on the floor. We decided to take away the food we ordered 14 piece bucket and a couple of krushems after taking the money off the card they told us the krushem machine wasn't ready so we ordered a hot beverage and a couple of sundae ice creams. I normally love the coating on the chicken but it was hard and seemed over cooked the chicken dry it just really tasted nasty although to the dogs we gave them to they wolfed them down so probably top marks from them.The chips were a bit cold but to be fair the day itself was quite chilly. The ice cream sundae was very nice and as for the cup of tea well the car park concrete enjoyed that as it tasted disgusting. I just can not believe you can have such a difference in a restaurant which belongs to a chain I would never go to newbury one again if I wanted that experience again i would raid green bridge skips. Should also say that the staff I encountered that day were polite and helpfull.come on kfc sort it out!

we decidid to have the tuesdy night meal offer no wonder they doing it we had 9 pieces of chickien we got 8 tiny little wings and one leg no meat on them at all i think they doing it to get rid of all the rubbish cuts of meat that no one wants

we went to kfc newbury was horrible they had no pop corn chicken my little grand dauter was so upset when asked why they never had any the girl behind the till was very un helpfull she said they were under new managment and she was fed up with customers moaning at here and that she was just a number if your not happy in your job dont take it out on me had to clear are own table my chicken was dry and tastless took it back was given another 2 dryed up as well left very upset when i got home phoned up there head office who was not very helpfull i will defo not go ther again sort it out after waiting years for one to come to newbury very rubbish dont go there unless you want bad service and bad food

I am American and my boyfriend is English. We live in America and for the entire time that I have known him, he has hyped up the Zinger Burger, a spicy chicken sandwich not sold in the American KFC restaurants.I'm not a fan of KFC. The ones close to my house are dingy and dirty with the worse quality type of fast food. I had to taste a Zinger burger though, so on my first trip to England we went to the local KFC.First off, this KFC was nice. It was more like a cafe or Starbucks, than it was a fast food restaurant. It was clean and even a bit stylish.We ordered three Zinger burgers to go. Delicious.
