the place is run by clowns again our order was incorrect on delivery and they never came back with the correct order had to get bank to withhold payment avoid this place trust me

We ordered KFC delivery for the first time. Luckily it was just for me and my husband. The chip portions were shocking. Come on......where are the rest of them?!

The staff are pleasant, but they almost always get something wrong or missing from our order. The dining area is more often than not in need of clearing and cleaning, too. Consequently we always get our order to take away and feel a need need to check our order thoroughly before leaving.

Excellent team working in KFC today food was cooked really well and service accuracy and cleanliness all deserve 5 stars today

Service with a smile . Fast reliable friendly staff . Helped alot with the allergy menu. Food came out steaming hot . Was just let down how small the burgers have got for the price they charge. But all round a good visit

Popped in as visiting relatives. The screen on which to place your order needed a good clean. Ordered two boneless boxes and extra hot wings. Not the usual standard of KFC. It felt like I had gone into a different franchise as the coating on the chicken was disappointing and the chip portion was small. Felt like it was a childs portion.

Cold food, poorly wrapped and presented. Unproffesional staff (play fighting, spraying cleaning fluid at each other)

First and last time ordering from here. I had a TOWER BURGER meal I've exchanged the drink for one more potion of fries of course is been missing from my order, the burger was cold, fries was cold and I've had some hot wings but again was COLÐDDDDD! Nothing form my order was at least 10% fresh! Never Again!!

Probably one of the tastiest KFCs we have had, all food was piping hot and bonus ice in drinks.

Thought I'd give kfc one more shot to see if we got delivered all the food we had ordered but yet again half our order missing, I've never ever ordered a kfc delivery and got all the items I had paid for but this time I had enough and went down there with my food still packed (don't drive so had to get a taxi there and back so more money wasted) so the food we did get was smothered and dripping in oil it was pure grease. Its such a shame that you spend so much money paying for a kfc for your family as a treat and you don't even get half of your food and the food you do get is just like drinking oil. I will never be ordering kfc again from here or west bars (west bars is just ad bad for all the same reasons) honestly don't waste your hard earned money just to be disappointed. Oh and I wouldn't order a child's meal it wouldn't even fill up a 2 year old my daughter got 6 Popcorn chicken bites no chips no drink and a squashed Pineapple stick

Every time I go here, I always ask for bbq sauce and I'm not happy

Popped in to try the new chicken stuffing tower burger. Didn't have it in stock. Staff didn't seem like they wanted to be working. Don't think I'm interested in going into kfc anymore.

This is the last time i will be having kfc. Ordered a gravy dipping bucket with boneless pieces at drive through when home popcorn chicken was missing and no gravy chicken tasted good as usual however was cold. We have ordered several times from here over the last year and EVERYTIME it's cold and always has items missing and if you ring up about it no one answers EVER!!

First time I had KFC for around 5 years.

Went through drive thro today. When home 2 items were missing... box of popcorn chicken & side of gravy. Was still charged for all items!

Simply the worst service I’ve ever known from a fast food restaurant. Regularly runs out of chicken. Staff couldn’t care less. Food is normally cold. Restaurant’s dirty and no one at all takes responsibility. Avoid like the plague.

Lockoford lane 10piece wicked variety bucket, only nice bit were the boneless strip's, 2 scabby wings and 9 drumsticks!, no breast pieces, greasy disgusting, will not be visiting again 😡

Whenever an order is placed either online or via the drive through you can be sure it is never correct. Multiple times this has happened.. never using this site again .. poor service and management are about as helpful as a paper plate in the rain AVOID

Every time i get a meal from this place to take home, there's either something missing or something's wrong with the food, 4th time in a row this year, but now im not going to be going back, today i ordred a 10 piece family bucket, with extra 4 pieces of chicken and chips, but when i got home the 4 extra pieces of chicken were missing, hardly any chips, hardly any meat on the chicken, no tissues, and the salt and ketchup bags were just thrown in with the greasy chicken bucket and were soaked in grease, absolutely disgusting for the price's they charge, enoughs enough for me, i thought they would have improved by now, but they just keep gettin worse.

Received my food burgers where wrong bun was dry as anything chicken was horrible will definitely not be going back to this place

Not usually in Chesterfield but decided on KFC.. Chicken and chips were OK I suppose but you cut almost slice the gravy and popcorn chicken wasn't good. Also the dip was missing... All round poor experience.

Been a fan of KFC for years, this has put me off. Tiny portions of chips, had collectively 5 pieces of chicken, ALL legs with no breast. Asked staff, uninterested and had to clean my own table yet the place was virtually empty. Hot wings - tiny Tasteless wet & soggy chicken that cost a fortune. Proper waste of money. Good bye KFC 😢😡

Went for early dinner around 5pm, all I can say is that the chicken was dry, liked warmed up from earlier on, chips were cold and staff didn't seem to have any care about anything. Oh and be carful with parking, had a £60 fine sent through for apparently overstaying my welcome, will be avoiding in the future.

We ordered a 6 piece family feast with corn and gravy as the side orders, when we arrived home and opened the bag we noticed the date on the corn read 24 AUG 2015. Immediately there was concern as to how long the corn had been frozen and was it 9 years out of date! I tried 7 times to phone the outlet but nobody answered so once we had consumed everything else I returned with the corn. The customer service initially when we bought the food was fantastic but upon my return the customer service was shocking! The response to my query was "well its in hours" as though I should have known this and I was being stupid for not! KFC, if you put a colon in the "time" stated on the label it would definitely negate any confusion. I will not visit this outlet again purely because of attitude, the food was good!

We ordered eat in and they packed it as a take away. We ordered 12piece boneless sharing bucket and we had only 11pieces and had no sauces at all. Potato chips were all thrown in the bag so you couldn’t tell if that is short or no. Very disappointed with the service, but the food was good quality and tasty at least.

This KFC 🍗 is one of the better one's I've visited , food was half decent and the staff were polite.

The food was hot which made the meal more enjoyable Would definitely visit again.

The food is OK unless you go after 10pm because they run out of stuff.

Don't know why but this was the best KFC I have had in the UK - maybe because I had it earlier in the day (pre-lunch) and it was crisp and fresh and delicious. Usually KFC in the UK sucks! You guys need to go to Australia and steal how they do it wholesale - particularly the seasoning on the chips.

One word about this KFC in particular ...bDISGUSTING !!!! Should be shut down before someone gets terribly ill or even worse ... Would even give it one star TBH ... The food we had was cold and not fit for consumption ... Took it back in less than a minute off receiving the wrap's .... The trainee manager ... Jordan I believe his name was had the worst attitude... Then the rest of the staff had a day ... ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC AND BAD BEHAVIOR TOWARDS A PAYING CUSTOMER !!! The owner of this KFC should be very worried it will have literally no custom before long ... Needs a visit from the EHO .... They would shut it down on the spot !!!!

when through the drive through Ordered chicken wrap of the day for myself and my husband .... Pulled up in the car park 30 seconds after getting the order to eat ..both wraps were freezing cold ... DISGUSTING !!! Serving cold chicken ... This can make someone very ill ... Incompetent staff running the place ... It's run by kids ... Took the wrap's back and asked the trainee manager that looked about 15 to probe the chicken wraps he served me less than a minute before and refused .... He threw them in the bin .... No apologies just very poor and bad attitude ... This place needs a visit from the EHO ASAP before they make someone extremally I'll !!! Terrible place and run by unprofessional kids that have absolutely no idea !!!!!

Easily one of the best KFCs arounds

This was my first visit to KFC and I loved it! The range of food is very good, particularly the healthy stuff. I had a rice bowl and a coffee and was really impressed with the quality and quantity. For under a fiver I had a lovely lunch and one of the best coffee ☕ in ages. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back soon. Edit 24/05 /2023 The food was just as good but they don't do hot drinks anymore. We ate and then went over to Costa because I don't do fizzy drinks. A bit disappointed.

14pc bargain bucket ! 11 drumsticks 2 thighs, 1 breast meat! What a cheek! And to top that one of the chip portions had just 8 chips in it and cost £21.99 when on website says £20.99, 1st visit as new to area! Won’t be going back there again rip off!

KFC Lockoford Lane, Chesterfield called last night 8.50 told to wait 10 minutes for Bargain Bucket ten piece £17.99. It was a very long 10 minutes, only us in the car park no one inside the shop too. Arrived home with the most disgusting, greasy 6 pieces of chicken. The dripping fat at laid at the bottom of the bucket was brown as was the coating and if that had only just been done goodness knows what it looked like when it was stood. The skin soggy. You can guess that we will not be going again for a very, very long time to a KFC.

Not a regular user of KFC but since my last visit there is a serious case of "Shrinkation" the fillet burger has shrunk severely in size along with a price increase, fries were acceptable. Venue average to poor.

Walked in, waited 15 minutes to order, ignored by staff. Left. Not acknowledged once

Practically dead inside. Two tables that had food, myself and one other who ordered takeaway. It took a while for the food to be bagged and even then they were thrown in the bag. The chicken didn't taste like the original recipe at all. I'm sure they're skimping on the seasoning!

Ordered from Uber. Very simple order. And they got it wrong as per usual. Gave me coleslaw and beans instead of gravy and corn. Who actually orders coleslaw from kfc???

Went here for evening meal, the service was pretty quick and the food was nice, (the beans was actually warm!) We had a family feast boneless bucket somit was nice. It was pretty clean too. The only thing that let it down was there was a few roudy teen-agers in the restaurant, some had eaten and others just walked in and sat down, so it made it a little uncomfortable and even more so I'd imagine if you was sat eating with little ones. It kinda looked like it was a meeting place for them. Other than that, it was a nice place to eat.

Ordered 3 piece meal and fillet burger meal, large, was charged £14.46. Got home, only 2 pieces of chicken in the bag and 2 small portions of chips. 2 large drinks were supplied. I tried to phone the store when the mistake was discovered, however the phone wasn’t answered. Poor service. Fish and chip shop next time we have a takeaway. ,

Absolutely poor, drive through and served by kids who are all messing about, when I get home, order completely wrong and half missing, rang and spoke to ‘Manger’ ( another teenager) and wasn’t prepared to do anything unless I traveled there again or reordered on just eats at a further £6.50!! I drove back and had a refund so I then ordered a two piece meal and was asked to pay for it!! Horrendous place run by kids, I wouldn’t use this place again to be honest.

Clean KFC although very cold in there.

I ordered a mini fillet burger . The bread was really dry . They swapped it for a piece of chicken . The chicken had that much salt and pepper on it ,it was almost inedible.

Paid £5.99 for a 3 piece chicken meal, always get at least 1 breast piece. This time 3 scrawny drumsticks! Never get a smile, and music is always playing full blast! Poor just poor.

Made an order via dekiveroo. The delivery was really quick but the food was really dry and cold. I rang the restaurant who told me to order a dip and they would replace the cold order, and a refund for dip order would be in with it. I did this but was charged £5.48 which was 50p for dip, £2 for small order charge, £1.99 for delivery and 99p service charge. The only refund I received was 50p for the dip. Therefore I paid £4.98 extra for receiving a cold, dry order. When I called to complain about this they said, well do you expect us to deliver for free? I wouldn't have needed a replacement if the food was hot or at least warm in the first place. I will never use KFC again, the service we received was disgusting.

Tables not cleaned and bin overflowing and order machines not working. Assistant at the till not familiar enough with the menu. Food was well cooked though.

Always get the orders wrong, chips almost always barely even warm, large chips in a 'mega box" are barely even a small portion. Never any napkins. Tables and bins always filthy.

Really disappointed with the party bucket. Staff was very unfriendly and received all 14 pieces as legs only . On requesting for a change they denied telling only leg pieces are available in this particular store . Anyways it was totally bad experience

Great service and excellent food

They miss items off your order! Last time they forgot ALL portions of chips for the bargain bucket , and yesterday they forgot to include bbq bites and a large gravy. Do I really have to start opening the ridiculously oversized paper bag they provide to check my order because they can’t get it right? Sort it out KFC you charge enough…and your fried chicken is average at best.

I used to be a very regular KFC customer until I moved to Chesterfield last year. My first 3 visits to this restaurant all resulted in poor quality food, wrong orders and poor customer service, so I haven’t been back since. Well that is until I thought I would give it another try tonight! Unfortunately nothing has changed as I paid £6 for what was meant to be a meal, but in reality was 2 chicken legs with not enough meat on them to feed a cat, together with a few chips throw in the bag on top of them. Also the bins outside were that full that they were all overflowing. Very poor standards and not a good experience at all. I ended up calling at Tesco next door to get some proper food for my tea. Suffice to say I won’t be going back to KFC Chesterfield.

Popped in this evening for a late tea, ordered, food was ready within 10 minutes… that’s the only good thing I can say. When the food came out the chips were cold, no excuse as the store was empty apart from me and a friend. My friends flavoured bites were also stone cold. Took the chips back to the counter and had to disturb what looked like a communal group of workers having a catch-up with friends?! I said our chips were cold, and the staff didn’t give any apologies, nipped in the back and out came some fresh chips. No sorry given. The conversation between staff and friends went on the whole time we was in the restaurant. The place was what I’d call scruffy and dirty. Rubbish all over the floors and the tables look like they hadn’t been wiped in hours. Very disappointing visit.

Wish I could vote 0 star Everytime I go there about 9.5/10 of the trips consist of them not having specific items available: chips, hot wings, bread for the fillet burgers (no joke). Or the system for scanning app rewards is apparently down almost every time I seem to go there. The staff are constantly changing way too frequently and never see a stable manager role in the premesis. Probably why there always seems to be an apparent issue every single time.. just complete laziness, inexperience or a combination of both. Overtime it's just become more apparent that it's got nothing to do with lack of supply/technical difficulties, but everything to do with poor ownership that's ruining not only the consistency but the quality of the meals down to the ground. I'm guessing the owner won't even be clued into looking or caring about any problems hence why this has been going on for so long so shouldn't waste my time making a review anyway but people have the right to know what they are dealing with.

The food here has always been fine, and I think the staff try their best. Somehow the atmosphere inside just always seems to be very miserable. And, I don't know if the heating had broken, but it was freezing cold the last time I went in.

we only occasionally call at this KFC and have had no issues previously but on this visit we were stunned to find that the inside of this KFC felt colder than outside The order screens and heating were not working and no hot drinks available we were told they had not served hot drinks for a couple of years as the machine had broken down and not repaired or replaced as now a costa had opened so are we supposed to nip over to Costa for a hot drink with our meal?????

Just in kfc specifically asked for food to be hot & was willing to Waite for it so we waited 12 min & guess what the food was cold chicken & chip .

Their Krushem machine constantly needs cleaning it's never available! Not been able to have one here for months. Don't ask for it! Also don't ask for a watermelon and lime drink - they never have that either. Always get the order wrong, no cutlery and napkins. Dire. Worst KFC ever.

Nothing more to say, no gravy. The only thing that makes this food eatable. 18.15 and no gravy. A mighty bucket comes with regular friers due their till choosing for you I was informed.

I ordered via the app. The place was spotless. Hardly anyone eating in so felt very spacious. The food was quickly ready and very tasty. I had original 2 piece meal and my partner had mighty bucket for one. Chicken was small, but hot and delicious. Decent portion of fries. I couldn't eat them all. The staff were friendly and I would definitely go back to this branch again

We haven’t ordered from here in a while as they always got the order wrong so we use west bars who are fantastic . What a huge mistake trying them again as the order was totally wrong . It’s as though they mean to do it . AVOID at all costs and use West bars as they know what they are doing .

Went with a freind a couple weeks ago for take out, got back home and half the order was missing, went back for rest of order, got home and still items missing, the chicken was so greasy that the bucket disintegrated on the journey home, I hadn't eaten at KFC for a long time and was looking forward to it but honestly it's put me off returning again.

Occasionally I treat myself to a take away, when ever I choose kfc on lockaford Lane I get let down I asked for bbq sauce for a substitute of gravy (which they never have) they forgot ike everything i pay for there no care taken into anything there it's a joke this KFC I give up now they mess up everytime really disappointed will not be returning

Visited 2pm on a Friday, very quiet and cold. No tables cleaned. Staff were too busy putting Halloween decorations up

Went to the drive thru and was asked to wait in the main car park. Having ordered a 2 piece meal for one and a boneless banquet meal, we were surprised that we had to wait 15 minutes for this order to come out to us. When we got home we found that the boneless banquet was missing items and the chicken was very greasy and frankly, not nice. Wouldn't go back again. 0 out of 5.

Had it from here twice. Absolutely hated it! Something is wrong with this restaurant. The other at West Bars is good. But Something has gone terribly wrong with this place. Avoid this one and go to West Bars KFC.
