I popped by here at the end of my working day as I was too tired to cook so I thought I'd treat myself to dinner. When I saw the prices, I was a little wary that it would be more 'quick meal' as it is very inexpensive. I went for the plant burger and a portion of fries. Portion sizes are huge, and everything was so full of flavour! A perfect full-sized meal with gorgeous presentation. I wish I'd taken a photo - they need their food showing off! It looked great! Packaging secure and keeps it all warm too. Customer service was lovely! Can sometimes be awkward when waiting at counters, but not here - the Portuguese chef made natural conversation and we had a lovely chat. I will absolutely be back and telling everyone about it! Thank you, Fanny's Burger Shack!

Never eaten here before but so pleased I did today. Quick service, crispy juicy bacon and runny egg in a fresh roll. £3.60 and worth every penny. Contactless payment. Free parking. Spot on.

I'm in no way affiliated with Fanny's but I do like to promote businesses where I have had great food and Fanny's is one of those. Rather than a takeaway or delivery shack, the owner should be a restaurant, such is the quality of the food. The prices are fantastic. The food is really high quality i.e. the bacon or the burgers The owner is a great guy Please, please try the Burger Shack out if you are in Vicars Cross or passing the Bill Smith's forecourt. You won't be disappointed. Do I recommend Fanny's? Absolutely!!

I have been a regular customer to Pig & Pump for over 6 years and for the last 3 years despite moving to the other side of Sheffield still come to the pub for the quiz. I have always loved the food and the beer selection and it’s one of Chesterfields last few remaining places worth visiting. That being said after my last visit I won’t be going back. After booking a table for food and the quiz we were put on one of the high but very small bar area tables. As we ordered food we asked if we could use one of the other tables to eat our food from then move back to this table for the quiz. We were told several times by the somewhat unhelpful staff we couldn’t. The reason being that they had all been booked by regulars. Most of these tables weren’t in use still and the pub quiet as it often is before the quiz. When the food did arrive it didn’t all fit on the table and my partner had to start eating her meal off her knee and everyone else’s food was hanging over the edge. My friend went back to the staff to ask again if we could use one of the empty tables and was told that regulars to the pub book specific tables and they cannot be moved, all this while still looking at empty tables. When it was explained one of us was having to eat off of their knee the staff member replied “other people manage to eat at those tables”. We were then told we could eat in the upstairs function room so after carrying our food upstairs we were left in a dark miserable room to eat our food. When we returned downstairs to our original table for the quiz, at least two of the tables that were reserved for 7:30pm still had nobody at them despite it now being almost 8pm. So we could have eaten our meals there and still been back at our original table without causing anyone any inconvenience. I’m not sure most places would hold tables for people 20 mins after a booking time in a busy pub where people were being turned away who wanted a table. It was quite clear at this point being a “regular customer” at this pub gives you special privileges. Despite all the drama and abysmal customer service from the staff we continued on and enjoyed the quiz. The straw that broke the camels back was when one of the regular teams at the quiz changed their team name to “If you don’t f**cking like it bring your own table next time” was read out at the end. Both bar staff looked at us and made a point of laughing. If this is the sort of staff this place now employs that look after regular customers like visiting Royalty and then mocks other customers, who have spent over £80 on food and drinks and not just turned up to nurse a pint and gobble the free chips they put out then I’m glad I won’t be going back. I’m quite sure this review won’t harm or damage the pub and I’m sure they won’t miss the revenue we brought to the pub but the terrible staff will eventually upset enough people that people will find other places with quizzes, nice food, nice beer and maybe even proper sized tables.

We also had to send one dish back 1 Star – Overcharged for a Dash of Lemonade We visited this pub and spent over £90 on food and drinks, only to be charged an extra £1 per dash of lemonade added to lager. £3 in total for what was basically a splash of mixer—completely unreasonable and no justification for it. This kind of pricing feels like a joke, especially after ordering multiple meals and drinks. We won’t be back, and I’ll be sharing this publicly so others don’t get stung the same way. Greed like this leaves a bad taste
