Food prices gone up and portion size got smaller. Not value for money anymore

What’s the point of leaving a reviewing when all you get is a generic reply with no solution. Anyhow, useless staff who does not read the notes given to them. Wasted my money and time.

This place is a joke! How hard is it to get an order right? Final straw - we will not order food from here again third time that this has happened. Food missing then when you try to call up to speak to someone no one answers the phone. Stealing money and not providing food that has been paid for - ridiculous. Avoid at all costs.

Only ever use the drive through, love the food, lovely helpful staff, only gripe is should be separate staff for the delivery orders, waiting time is taking longer

Hands down THE WORST kfc in Sheffield by a country mile! Every single time they get my order wrong and I don’t want to get started on the rubbery soggy chicken. I worked as a cook for kfc 9 years ago and this is far from the standards I used to work at.

After this evening I wouldn't advise going to this KFC. The service was awful and unfriendly. I ordered a 4 piece meal and was presented with 3 drumsticks and a tiny piece of chicken 🐔 I complained only to be given a dirty look. The chicken was old and dry. Service was very slow and poor. I won't be going again

Amazing how you don't sell doughnuts despite having so many work behind the till. Crap, overpriced food, your staff can't even read an order to be able to get correct to start with. ABISMAL. And gravy, anyone would think were having a gravy shortage! Wants shutting down.

Not my idea of fun tbh, the eldest likes the food but if you can't get sat away from the door the constant stream of door dash drives is a little off putting.

Food was ok, cant really complain about quality, but didn't get the right drink on drive thru. Only three stars as it always seems to be staffed by bored stiff youngsters who seem polite enough, but with a slight surly edge and always manage to get one part of order wrong on my intermittent visits.

Thanks for spoiling our family tea as you forgot to put 2×gravy in and would not answer phone. It cost me £23 not a very happy customer. Thanks for the apology?

Food cold-part of order missing

We have just visited kfc at crystal peaks retail park Sheffield Liam one of the servers was particularly rude when I asked for the manager… then he was sniggering and laughing about my complaint with his colleagues … I did say what he was doing was unacceptable … I was taking a Krushem back as it was below half was nothing like in the picture… when you pay that amount you expect it like it is in the advertisement

Went for dinner the food was not warm, but what was really upsetting was seeing an older lady asking for the manager, and the young man Liam being rude laughing with other staff, could see the lady was so upset with his actions, it was uncomfortable to see, I know the staff are young and could definitely use some customer service training, won’t use this kfc again

Terrible. Ordered the 'latest and greatest' BBQ whatever burger. It looked like it was thrown together by a chimpanzee. No presentation at all and not even close to the advertised photo. Very underwhelming and feeble, and nearly seven quid plus a ten minute wait. Only plus was that the chicken was hot.

Poor place Wrote on here before and not been back till this last week We decided to eat in only to find the whole seating area was closed One member of staff was sweeping up All the chairs were on the tables Problem was it was 7.40 pm I am told they close at 11 pm So why was all the seating blocked off ??

DO NOT go to or order from this restaurant. FOUR out of my last FIVE orders here have all been wrong.The last order was total RANK. A 6 piece family feast had 4 rib cages (the worst pieces),1 thigh, 1 drumstick. NOT 1 piece of chicken breast. The chicken was stale like it has been cooked 4 hours ago and left under heat. My chicken fillets in the order were not even present!, completely missing (£5 alone just for these and missing). The restaurant NEVER answers the phone to deal with orders (30 minutes continuously calling and no one ever picked up). This is 4 out 5 orders all similar to the above scenario for myself. Do yourself a favour and skip this place, I certainly have run out of goodwill for this lot.The service and competence level is the absolute worst and they appear to have no intention of dealing with any mistakes or improving service levels. I get the distinct impression they just want to get paid and go home.

Ordered through drive thru, staff were friendly, had to park up wasn't ready, didn't have to wait long, while waiting we did see a rat in the car park, I did mention it to the staff but didn't seem that bothered. The food was nice, only thing that annoyed me was we ordered coleslaw, when we got home it was warm because it was put in the bag with warm food and not placed in a separate bag and given to us separately we had to throw it away.

The food here is disgusting Probably on par with Handsworth Tiny pieces of chicken , usually drumsticks Badly managed Minus 5*

Staff have no customer service reaction at all. Just put food down don't ask if you need anything and walk off. Definitely need more social skills training

Seems every time anyone tries to dine in at KFC they put it in a takeaway bag

Fire the chefs or front of house, whoever thought that food was acceptable to serve

Food was okay, service took too long in my opinion and watching a staff member get a disciplinary on the table next to me was a bonus. LoL

Picked up a bucket just before midday today to find when I arrived home there were no fries in the bag,the chicken portions were full of water & uneatable,only thing we could eat were the wings & chicken strips,absolutely rubbish I will never use this place again may as well have thrown my hard earned money in the street !!

I think most kfcs are the same. Some are a little better than others. My last issue was 7 pieces of leg in a family feast of 10 they did sort it out after taking hours to get in touch . I'll come again I'm sure at some point

Ordered on the app for collection, got missing items also asked for no mayo and no lettuce on a burger and got both. Tried ring the store and nobody answered. wouldn't go to this store but its is the closest to me. Pay for good food and look forward to enjoying it to be let down by staff that don't seem to be trained properly.

DISGUSTING chips. Cold and I could not even describe the horrible taste of them. The boneless chicken was overly salty. Not a single redeeming quality could be made about this establishment or its food.

Avoid! Disgusting. Ordered 10 peice family feast and 7 peices were drumsticks!! Spent £30. From looking at the other reviews looks like it's not the first time. Save your money people.

Ordered through just eat when arrived,half the order was missing and what we received was cold,tried ringing the restaurant for over an hour but nobody there seems to be able to answer a telephone

The last 5 visits to this outlet, they have got the order wrong. From missing chips, missing gravy and missing chicken. This time they added a large coke and missed the large chips. How hard is it to get the order right? I have no complaints about the food itself.

Ordered online and received incorrect meal. It was not the delivery driver but the kfc that had packed incorrectly. Phoned them up no help whatsoever. I see why they have poor reviews. I am now supposed to wait 2 days for a refund when Just Eat have did nothing wrong.

The staff here may actually be genuinely brain dead. Order is wrong or missing 8/10 times. 0 common sense.

Ordered a home delivery through “just eat”. Arrived 10 minutes later than requested but no problem with that. However the rest leaves a lot to be desired. Husband ordered the colonels 3 pce meal at £8.99. He received 3 drumsticks and 10 fries which along with mine were scattered in the bottom of the bag. So that equates to £3 per drumstick. !!!!! I ordered a chicken fillet burger meal. Tasteless. Both meals missing the promised drink. £19.66 for absolute rubbish.

Pretty decent. Food prepared quickly and reasonably well. Cheese only half in the twister burger. Otherwise, it seemed organised and staff helpful and polite. Small car park, but others available nearby.

Food is average and generally very greasey sent the food back or complained on line a few time chicken was not left to rest and let the grease drip of I'm afraid. Ordered a ten peice bucket and they keep putting 7 bloody legs in 3 times in a row when ordered on line so I go in now. Some staff are great but I have been stood there for a while before anybody even says how can I help??

Decent—ish. The drive through almost never has a queue and the service is quick. The food is always nice and all that kind of stuff. The establishment is always clean, ect. Although wouldn't recommend having it delivered as it was quite cold and by the time I got to the door (I was waiting near the door and it took me two seconds to unlock it) the delivery driver had ran up the drive and just left my food on the floor. Always would recommend eating in or the drive thru though

Please make sure to but the dietary requirements because when I came here the person said ut was halal but on the website it wasn’t halal

Absolutely awful service. Rang up the branch as had missing items from my delievery. They refused to refund me. Told me to go through Uber eat app despite it being ordered through their app and their staff forgetting to put stuff in the bag. Started talking over the top of me when I was talking. This was a manager. Always always always check what’s in your bag! Spent £30 and was out of pocket and the food was cold!

Food is rarely very hot, the restaurant is freezing cold which makes the food go colder instantly, and most of the staff are very zombie-like. The actual food temperature aside is tasty and better than some other kfc branches.

Went in to try one of there new xmas burgers other day and it was very nice. The service was fast aswell. Cant fault them.

I used to work here when it was run correctly. Everything was temp checked sent out fresh and hot. I've just received food from here and the mini fillets are grey, there's food missing, the gravy is like dish water. Tried to phone to rectify the issues but no answer. Bad management issues not enough staff and staff not giving a flying as nobody in charge to make sure things are how they should be.. everyone should stop buying then they would probably take notice

Visited on a Saturday around midday, not very busy, ordered on the machine, only waited a few minutes for our food to be ready. The food was hot and tasty. The diner was spotlessly clean and the staff were polite and helpful. Good experience and I would recommend and return again.

Second time in two months fries missing from order from uber which completely ruins your meal

Never get the food that's ordered always Something missing. So by the time you are home its too late. Plus rats outside not good

Absolutely DISGUSTING SERVICE! One of us ordered a Zinger burger and the guy gave us just a burger- fillet and a lettuce leaf! We were shocked. He didn't apologise or offer to make us another. We were asked to pay for another burger and fries. WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. Terrible food !! Young staff, absolutely no manners and very entitled!! Disgusted! WORST KFC IN THE UK!

Went to visit this kfc as a secret shopper and I was disgusted with the service from the young staff they have there particularly a over sized girl called AMY. I was given my food on the drive threw which was wrong. Also when it was corrected I had to ask for the basic simple things like salt, pepper, napkins, and something to eat the side coalslaw with (WHICH WAS OUT OF DATE) (ENVIORMENTAL SERVICES and TRADING STANDARDS WILL BE INFORMED OF THIS. PICTURES TAKEN.) and the most disgusting thing that happened was this AMY ROLLED HER EYES AT ME WHEN I ASKED FOR THESE SIMPLE THINGS. Should customers really have to ask for stuff that is basic essentials of the fast food service. i asked the girl for her name but she gave me a dirty look and then closed the window on me. I saw her name tag on her hat through the window. If management did their job properly I guess the staff would be much better manored and have a basic knowledge of custome service. But maybe that's just this generation of kids. All reported have been passed on. DATE saturday 4th november 2023 at 2pm.

Food turned up cold thanks to Uber been gready and letting my food go cold whilst he waited for another order near by, predicted time upon order, 20 mins, actual, 45 due to waiting, new signature fries were horrendous, never had to use a sieve to get rid of the mass amount of seasoning, inedible.

Delivery driver left order outside on top of bin in the pouring rain not following instructions to ring the bell at the gates. Whole order ruined. Sons sleepover meal ruined. Can't get through to the actual restaurant. Disgusting service.

Just had a party bucket at £34 and out of 14 pieces of chicken we got 12 drumsticks the skin was soggy absolutely disgusting for £34 will not be going there again City Road one much better

I went to kfc to have a nice dinner and I got my food and as I started to eat my 2 pieces of chicken and just as I opened them they were both pink and jelly inside. I went up with the chicken and the lady came out and tryed to argue with me saying that I was wrong and that is was cooked fine . In return all we got was one white price of chicken . After she had gave us the chicken we then saw her running into the kitchen with a food probe going to check the rest of the chicken Will not be going back anytime soon.

Great services and the food is perfect

For the second week running my order is wrong. I would suggest that you get staff who can count, last week 2 hot wings in the box instead of the 3 as ordered. Today paid for a 6 piece bucket, guess what, only 5 pieces in the box. I suggest all customers count and check what they have paid for before they leave, if I lived closer I would have gone back to complain. Another issue why do you get 4 chicken legs in a 6 piece bucket, when you get the correct number ordered. Crikey you have determinate recently.

Strangely clean unlike most KFCs i have been recently. A member of stff keeps cleaning the tables and environment. Impressed

Drakehouse KFC. Must have been served by the mhserablist member of staff today. Wanted something off rhe app, scanned barcode and muttered app not working and just stood there looking at me. Surely good customer service would have been to say if you want to pay on card then you could use the machines to order as the app was working on there. While I was waiting for my order a couple of people wanted sauce so they asked for it. Seemed like too much trouble to as she grabbed the sauce and just about threw it on 1 of their trays

I have just had the worst KFC meals for my Wife and myself. I pulled to the first window l ordered for us both nearly £19 and was told to wait for my order. I asked to make sure l had ketchup and he said they will bring it out. They brought my order out and the guy said they have ran out of ketchup. I said are you having a laugh and he said no.Anyway we went to the retail car park to eat and nothing to eat my beans,no salt for fries and not even any napkins so most of it has gone in the bin. Well done KFC great standards. He didn't even give me my receipt but you will have cctv of my car and l definitely have it on my Webcam in my car.

Burnt chicken and rubbery chips

i am complaining about 3 members of staff, nicole pearce , bella kirkby and not sure on the other girl i came in this afternoon and 2 of those girls bullied me and my friend for years i came in this after noon around 1:45 and me and my dad and sister got laughed in our faces by them talk about acting professional.

shocking and my 1st experience eating here, and never again. I've bought a teriyaki chicken burger and the chicken shouldn't of been sent out and should of been rejected. My wife had the sane burger and her chicken was massive and mine didn't have much chicken what's so ever. Also I ordered a krushem milky bar drink and nothing like it use to be. it was watered down, less volume and didn't taste the same as it should.

i’m complaining about 3 girls one is nicole pearce another is bella kirkby and i’m not sure who the other girl is but i don’t appreciate them laughing at people in their faces while they are meant to be professional and doing there job, i used to be friends with them two girls and they bullied me and my friend for years, i know what they are like and it’s put me off even going into this KFC again , i think it’s disgusting what they have done.

Just had lunch , fresh & hot very good but I was told I could not have a cup of tap water very strange.

Would give it a 0☆ if possible. Cannot even put items in a bag. Missing a meal and can of pop. £10 wasted and noone will pick phone up to correct. Thanks👍

Went to my favourite k f c for tea had teriyaki burger chips and maxi cola suger free my companion had small bucket of chicken chips and maxi cola their meal was better than mine on this occasion unfortunately they had put far too much teriyaki sauce on chicken scraped most off but hey ho won't have it again dived into my companion s and that was delicious as always still my favourite k f c anyways the guys operating the drive thro were really helpful 😋

Ordered a wicked zinger meal with extra hot wings. Got no gravy though I asked for it and no extra hot wings. First staff was nice person who handed food wasn't obviously knew what I ordered wasn't there. Shame

How can a fast food chicken restaurant have no children cooked at 12pm. Waited 20 minutes for our food to be ready, then not the best. Very small chicken pieces, warm chips etc. Felt really sorry for the staff as it should be the manager taking the blame. Perhaps he was the same one that worked at the Handsworth branch where it happened before. Noticed the drive through did not have to wait 20 minutes.

Probably the worst Kfc we have visited, food cold upon collection, chicken not cooked correctly, staff abrupt , what I could only class as dog end chips , probably the worst KFC experience I have had. We probably should have been more observant of people within premises and lack of customers using drive thru! Honestly disgusting

What's point in having app when you can't use the codes wrong

The fries were nice with the potatoe skin left on but the quality of the chicken has gone downhill appearing greyish in colour. The coating on the skin just pulled straight off leaving the rubbery skin stuck to the chicken bone.i expect crispy skin and coating therefore it will be a good while till my next visit!

2x3pc boxes fries and gravy£26+ and received 5 chicken drumsticks as portions . Apparently they can only give you what they have atm. NOT good enough!! Customer service is disgusting.Maybe let people know about the running out of chicken? When placing an order. I can order from McDonald's and know exactly what to expect. KFC are far too inconsistent and do not give a toss.

KFC isn't what it used to be. The coating certainly isn't, but it's ok. I call here when I'm at the Peaks and fancy some chicken.

We had a takeaway meal last night and it had to be the poorest meal we’ve ever had from Drakehouse Sheffield. It wasn’t hot or crispy, the chicken pieces were lacking in chicken & the chips cold and soggy. Not sure if we’ll waste money here again.

Rubish not cooked and didn't get all the stuff

A really nice KFC let down by delivery drivers parking in the disabled parking bays. Staff do take it seriously and tell the drivers but they just carry on doing it.

First time here and absolute 10/10 !! Clean establishment. Good crowd in and out. Staff friendly and just seemed happy to be working together. Food was better than any kfc I've had before as well really was. Thanks Drakehpuse KFC team. From Jez, Steph and Isabelle

The place was disgusting & the chicken was so watery. Wouldn’t use this KFC again. The staff was polite on the upside, or should I say the young lady who brought our food over, who apologized for how long the wait was. Which quiet long for a KFC. But it was not nice to eat in. They seriously need to keep on top of cleaning. The loo seat also was covered in wee.

Drive-Thru: Food thrown in the boneless banquet box and handed to you with zero customer care, and when I asked for napkins, spoon, salt and hand wipe the look on her face was like 'really? Eyes rolled and sighed... typical of most KFC franchises.

3 meals with extras from the drive through. 2 wrong, missed extras. Called 8 times back to back. No answer. Meals were poor/cold and over priced.

I got back from a week away after teatime and so wanted a takeaway we decided on a KFC the one at Handsworth I’ve been told is rubbish so it’s been a few years since we went to Drakehouse and believe me it’ll be even longer if there is a next time. The fries were limp and lifeless maybe a Viagra tablet in the cooking oil would help and the chicken dry and tasteless the skin with the 11 herbs and spices (zero herbs and spices now I’m sure) used to be peeled off and left in the bottom of the bucket and saved for last as it was always the best thing about KFC and it was gorgeous but I’m going back a long long time when my brother and I got paid on a Thursday and drove up to the one at Woodseats from Nether Edge.£16.99 for a bargain bucket it should be changed to bargain bin the only beneficiaries were my cats and they are usually quite fussy eaters.The drive through was busy to be honest but if the youngsters of today think it’s any good now they would have thought it was food of the gods back in my day now it’s food of the dogs or cats. The gravy was ok though.

As a one off treat we took our 16 year old son for his tea, I his mother ordered a wow box with extra gravy and extra chicken, my order number was called out and food just left on the counter, There was no acknowledge from the member of staff only to realise some of my order was missing, the staff reluctantly gave me the rest of my order no apology, my son and partner noticed other staff throwing chips at each other in the back, when we returned home my gravy had leaked all over my food. I'm not normally one to complain but we will not be using this KFC again , rude staff.

So bad it's actually laughable. So, I've never seen such a dirty filthy place to eat. Anywhere. Ever. There was soil all over the floor. The entrance area actually had litter left in it. The toilets were flooded. The tables had litter on them and hadn't been cleaned. One of the 2 self service screens wasn't working. The store was unable to scan the voucher from my app (my phone works just fine at other KFC outlets). In the end the manager intervened, and they had to reboot the till. It took about 8 minutes to serve me. My friend had already ordered, been served and almost finished his food by the time I was served. During the time I was kept waiting, the queue of customers built up behind me. Not at any point did anyone consider opening a second till and serving the other customers. Oh, and the Pepsi tasted of the line cleaner.

Just been and ordered for the family, took the food home and a spider came out of one of the chicken fillets. So i wouldnt bother eating here unless you fancy fried spider. I’ve tried calling the KFC Drakehouse and no one is answering.

A decent eatery with quick home delivery services.
