Service was slow, staff clearly didn’t want to be there, chips soggy and cold, chicken served cold, I was told Pepsi Max and Diet Pepsi were exactly the same and when I got my Pepsi the cup was half full. Definitely can’t recommend and certainly won’t be back.

Every thing was good. Service, Food, hospitality, cleanliness was excellent. Want to visit again and again. Good was really fresh.

Signature KFC taste. Excellent fried chicken and burgers, fries were too tasty! We ordered Zinger burgers, fries and a bucket of chicken all of which was devoured within minutes. The restaurant was clean and staff was courteous and friendly. Service was quick and efficient. Will visit again!

None of the order machines work. I asked for single piece of chicken and double checked, still gave me 2 hot wings. The girl working there had a very bad attitude, didn’t give me anything to eat my salad with, and I had to collect my coke directly from the machine on my own since she is obviously too busy messing other people’s orders up.

Worst KFC ever, chips are rank, wings cold and tasteless. Tables honking. You might get a better meal out of the bin outside. Avoid Oops gravey was ok.

In search of something to eat before going to a festival show, I dropped into this establishment with my son. In my opinion it was very poor on all fronts. Tables were unclean, trays were unclean, toilets were in constant use by Just Eat delivery drivers and service was slow. Only used this because it was raining and city was busy. Talk about germ spreading for Covid. Would not go back

Toilets like something out of trainspotting - absolutely vile - seems like years of ingrained filth/smell and darkly lit - there’s a reason for that I found out. After collecting food a drug addict came in, asked for toilet code which the staff obliged with - clearly using the place for “hitting up”. Was in with family (young kids) and was feeling a bit on edge - last time ever in a KFC…never that great but this one is on a level of its own. Stay well clear

Gave this place a second chance. Big mistake. The place was filthy, bins were overflowing, self service machines didn't give you a receipt and one of them was broken. Seen one of the employees pulling her mask down and ripping open a bag of plastic forks with her teeth. She had to chew her way through it. The gravy was like water, chicken was soggy, and overall didn't taste right. Went in to the toilet and it was covered in urine. It was on the seat and floor, and there was no toilet roll. If a health inspector visited they would probably be shut down. Someone needs to get this place sorted out.

5 of us had a day out in Edinburgh at the famous Scots whisky stramash. Had a great day and decided to grab food before heading home . Decided to pop in to kfc. Bad decision. I ordered 5 meals to sit in got a seat and waited for my number to get called.... 2 meals short I went back up and the counter to be met with a broken English speaking girl who said if it wasn't on the receipt I would have to pay again for the missing meals as there was no receipt in the bag I explained. Decided to just re order the 2 meals so spoke realy slowly so there would be no confusion she the informed me that I could only get takeaway even though my family where eating in. But low and behold order wrong again only one meal in the bag ...back up to the counter to be met with young lad who looked lost who's explanation was... it because of the change of staff . I informed him the girl behind him served me to which point she became irate and told me she could not change it I would have to pay again I asked her to check her store cameras and till . Nope wouldn't do it so ...30.quid out no food for me and my family left all their food on the table. Horrible end to a good day.

No non diet drinks. Why would anyone want diet Pepsi or sugar free tango it's kfc hardly healthy anyway. Staff very unhelpful

Popped in to use the toilet as I was working around the corner. They made me buy something before I could use it despite the place being empty. What happened to common sense and good will to fellow humans? When I got in the toilet was filthy. Full of excrement that wouldn't flush away and pee all over the seat. Disgusting restaurant!

My husband and I went for a KFC before we headed towards The Jazz Bar for Valentine's day. As it was Valentine's Day, all the restaurants increase their prices so it was decided that we would have a KFC. The service was fast, enough chicken and chips for the two of us. Filled a hole.

Typical of kfc you place a simple order for delivery and guess what they get it wrong The mega box has 5 items it’s not rocket science to put 5 items in the box !! Lunch ruined !! No gravy !! No gravy how can you forget the piggin gravy !!! Kfc with no gravy !! It’s a necessity since they have changed the fries to these new ones !! If ordering double check they have half a clue that they know what you want !!!

Surprised that KFC in Scotland still uses the old recipes. Here in the US, the stuff is barely edible anymore, and US food quality regs are lower. Second surprise, Scotland still uses old-recipe Coke with cane sugar. As Kentucky Colonels, we take our Southern recipes seriously, and it was gratifying to see them adhered to. The restaurant was jammed with trash overflowing and a disinterested staff, but we didn't go to KFC for ambiance but for basic food around the corner from our hotel.

entered door to find the floor filthy and greasy, self service terminals are so slow with one not working at all, more filth hanging from signs above the counter, member of staff having finished her shift was strolling around behind the counter in outdoor clothes and hair hanging loose, perhaps should have had gloves over her false nails too, food lay on hot tray for an age awaiting the slowest member of staff to decide he should maybe give me it, ok the chicken when i eventually received it was hot and tasty but this shop needs a deep clean and some staff training, however none of this matters to me as i WILL NEVER BE BACK.

Restaurant was empty when we first arrived, waited for 5 minutes for someone to appear from the kitchen to take our order, we then waited a further 15minutes for the food, by then a que had formed, the drive through was busy, there appeared to only be 3 staff, they looked like they would rather be anywhere but working in KFC, the food was tasty enough when it arrived.

We ate there several times, their chicken is of the original KFC recipe. It's small and a favorite place for students but it's clean. The food is fresh is not left out under heat lamps.

El 'Mighty Bucket for One' fue un desastre total. No contenía lo que se decía en el tablero, en cambio venía con 3 alitas picantes, algunos filetes variados calientes y regulares, y algunos combos de carne misceláneos que tenían más huesos incrustados con masa y un poco de pollo en la mezcla. También había un poco de baqueta raída y un trozo de pechuga adjunto, no era agradable. Fue servido en una bolsa de papel en lugar de un cubo, probablemente para ocultar el hecho de que estaba obteniendo restos de cartílago al azar.

KFC can be very hit and miss and on this occasion it's definitely a miss. Took ages to get my order. And when it landed it was wrong. The chips also also horrible. They taste like micro chips.

My order was taken by a guy whose facial expression never changed, seemed like he was on something, he was also very slow; they messed up the order and i got extra chips and wings instead of my sundae; i went back with the extra food and asked them to give me my sundae,, same guy very slow, never said sorry, made a face like he was bothered by my request; i went back to the table and when i opened the zinger i ordered it looked like someone dropped it on the floor and stepped on it.. so i went back for a second time to ask them to give me a new zinger; after i came back to my table i find this homeless guy eating from my tray, i shouted at him,, excuse thats my food, the guy said he was sorry and left quickly; the staff heard me and never said or did anything; i was disgusted and left. You draw the conclusion.

Esto estaba justo en la esquina al lado de nuestro hotel, y decidimos comer algo aquí y llevarlo a nuestra habitación. El personal fue servicial, ya que no he frecuentado muchos KFC en mis viajes. Ambos disfrutamos el pollo deshuesado con salsa de barbacoa y papas fritas, simplemente nos dirigimos al lugar, bien hecho.

I’ve had a fair few bad takeaway experiences, but this takes some beating!

Service here was very slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, and we didn’t get what we ordered. Food was okay but the restaurant was very messy with food all over the floor and tables.

KFC is great for a fast chick sandwich or snack at night, The service was fast and the food was delicious.

Chicken was soggy not really good ordered 3 pcs combo. USA KFC is a lot lot better. better not to try KFC here.

Went for a bite to eat before the tour at surgeons hall. It was a disgrace. The fries were cold the burger was molten. The restaurant itself was filthy. The floors were dirty and covered with trash. The tables were unclreared and piled high. The ones that were clear were dirty and sticky. The staff seemed unconcerned and reading the other trip advisor reviews neither does the management. Am seriously considering contacting environmental health with my concerns.

Coffee and tea not available and yawning server not listening to order. It's only fast food but branch feels grubby and crowded partly because of the area its in but still poor experience other than ok fast food and price.

This is a nice little KFC that always has fresh food ready and waiting the staff are friendly. I really enjoy KFC and think its great for families just not too often! Eat here a few time a month!

Cibo veramente orribile: il panino era praticamente vuoto, le patatine fritte erano a dir poco crude e il pollo pieno di olio e immangiabile. Personale scortese e aggressivo che dopotutto mi ha anche rubato 3 sterline rifiutando di darmi il resto corretto insistendo sul fatto che avessi sbagliato io a contare i soldi. Esperienza da non ripetere assolutamente.

Same at three outlets in the northeast something has changed, onetime used to enjoy but after two visits late last year said would not go again, but recently tried the outlet at Consett it was rubbish, don,t think Ill bother again.

Helpful staff and a fast service toilets were in need of a clean but apart from that I had no other problems. Happy to visit again.

Como lo pedí el encargado para mi siempre, un Oreo Krushum, él me éxito con 'la máquina es krushum Brocken hoy". Esto no fue un gran comienzo de una experiencia horrible. Me gusta disfrutar de un KFC, posiblemente mi favorito de comida rápida, pero siempre parece ser el mismo problema con las patatas fritas y crujientes, nunca una sensación de que han sido hechas por un tiempo y se enfría. Es posible que no use calor kfc aceite suficiente para cocinar sus patatas fritas?

We were in the area, and wanted something quick, so stopped in at the KFC on Nicolson St, in Edinburgh, just opposite the square. Big mistake! It's a fast food place, so no expectation of receiving really good food. However, our chicken tasted as though it had been sitting for hours and had been fried in old oil. We should have been alerted by the fact that a lady in front of us returned her fries and from what we saw, the 'chef' seemed to place them back on the shelf to be given to other customers.What also worried us was that the folk sitting opposite us complained as well. I wanted to do the same, but my partner hates to cause a fuss, so instead we left - throwing most of our meals in the bin - and will not return to that particular KFC.

I made the mistake of going to the KFC near Waverley Station for something to eat , as I had not had breakfast ( travelled early back from London ) and I was stuck in a train for 6 hours till I reached Edinburgh and never bothered will food , thought I will have a KFC meal at 2.30pm , and hungry , I bought a Zinger Burger and Chips , what can I say it makes MacDonald's seem good - the old KFC Chicken was really delicious and tasty - this was dry , tasteless and just not what it used to be like ( ie edible and delicious ) I was really disappointed , and the chips were junk , I would have been better waiting another hour and finding a Fish and Chips Shop in Galashiels - it was a waste of money - poor old Colonel Harland Sanders should turn in his grave to what they have done to the Southern Fried Chicken - really , really sad .I wont be back KFC

Its exactly what you expect from a fast food place. Average service and average food. Recent refurbishment has improved the feel of the place a bit.

We went to this place and taken the delivery as expected. The chicken taste is very nice especially sause is so delivious. its recommended place for all the ages to have the nice chicken.

Today I had the worst meal I ever had in a kfc at any time around the world the service was aggressive and confrontational swearing and gossiping with staff members. the last time prompted me to make an official complaint they don't give you hand wipes with your meal but neither do they give you any cutlery also they won't let you have a mineral water with your meal strange since they have in other outlets I have been in. The chicken tasted over cooked and dry and the chips almost like cardboard the uk kfc has one of the worst after care complaints departments no apology or real concern.

Very basic outlet of kfc. Food was good but no ice cream!!!!!!. Tried the ribs which was very tasty and the staff was not very helpful. Badly in need of a renovation.

I was looking forward to my visit as I don't normally eat fast food but I got disappointed. There were a long queue when we arrived, dirty tables (even there's not too many) and the service wasn't enough to say 'good'.

Visited this place today, it was busy after placing order had to wait 25 minutes for the food. It was obvious that the shop was too small to cope with demands, there was only one person processing the orders, and only two staff taking orders. They were having problems with some equipment which added to staff woes. First visited this shop over 15 years ago, and it would appear that no up grades have been made in that time. When food was obtained it was nearly cold not worth the wait. KFC needs to look at this place and spend money upgrading it so that it is up to the standards of other KFC's we have eaten or close it. Would not go back to this place again in its present state, if it's fast food you want would give this place a miss until the tourist season is over

Chips were freezing..zinger burger not that warm either..could do with more counter staff...will give it a miss in the future

I live local and for quality of food this is the best KFC in Edinburgh.As per previous reviews the staff can be hit and miss.

O KFC tem um espaço agradável e o staff foi simpático. Pedimos um boneless banket (frango empanado sem osso), com batata frita e refrigerante. A comida veio estava boa, mas veio fria.

staff were rude and unhelpful ,, no help whatsoever !!food was cold and expensive ,,,,, and didn't taste of chicken the place was dirty, untidy and drafty ,,, nobody even attempted to clear our table even though we were in for 45 mins ,, the door was left ajar every time someone came in, or went out ,, will not be back,,,, and it cost me £23 for the two of us ,,, never again !!! no matter how hard the grandsons beg !!

This was simply a terrible experience from begging to end. The staff were awfully rude, the food was far from hot and the drink tasted like the pumps hadn't been cleaned out in weeks. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I would advise any tourist wanting a KFC to use the one off Princes Street instead. I am partial to a nice KFC so I did go to that one the day before and it was full of pleasent, normal looking people. Far, far, far superior.This one however can only be described as the local scrubber's meeting point.Also, I didn't mention to the staff that the food was stale and hard because I wanted to leave as soon as possible, but two of the aforementioned ruffians had no problem shouting across the restaurant to the staff that their fries were cold.Rough.

Eccezione alla tipica cortesia cittadina. Trattato con scortesia e sufficienza dall’inserviente alla cassa, che non ha ne salutato ne ringraziato, ha risposto sgarbatamente a me e a tutte le persone che c’erano prima di me. Il cibo nello standard, pulizia pessima (ho visto anche che le cameriere ritiravano dai tavoli giusto le cose ingombranti e buttavano per terra briciole e piccoli avanzi), bagni chiusi a chiave e trafila lunga per farsi aprire (sempre senza una parola). Pensando ad una giornata sfortunata ho riprovato un altro giorno, stesso trattamento, non entrerò più in questo punto vendita.

This review is for the KFC near ten hill place, which isn't nicest location. Food was overcooked. Place outdated. Nobody questioned a couple who could barely stand, both enter and go to toilet together, before leaving without a purchase.
