the only kitchen that cooks kebabs over charcoal in this area, the prices are not much expensive but worth it

I visited Kew at the weekend but didn't eat here. I'm sure the food is very tasty and good quality but this is something that I can't get off my mind. I really think you're missing a trick with your name and believe you'd have more customers / would gain more interest if you renamed your shop BBKew. Everyone loves a good (or bad) pun and "Kew BBQ" is a bit of a mouthful (if you pardon the pun) so l think you should reconsider your name. Battered sausage was soggy and chips had zero flavour and tasted very bland. Overpriced too compared to others near by.

Worst kebab I've had - obviosuly new owners. Prices really expensive. £9.50 for a cold pitta, small amount of meat and washed out salad. They won't survive at this price/quality. Go over the bridge to the Chip shop on Sandycombe Road, though no kebabs, far better quality menu.

The lamb or chicken shish here is always cooked to perfection by the very friendly and welcoming staff. I love that its so convenient to get to. They have inside and outside seating so no need to carry it home.

Absolutely VILE!!!!! do NOT eat here! I should have known because it was quiet there was no donner meat and the chicken kebab skewer had not much meat, on a Friday night. But I thought to give it a go. WAYYYYYYYYYY Overpriced!!!! but when I took it home, the chips were like they had been sitting in oil for DAYS, they were soggy like they were in the fridge overnight and reheated in the microwave. The chicken clearly had been there since Monday!! FOOD HYGIENE NEED TO SHUT THEM DOWN! I think this by far is the worst food I’ve ever purchased! PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS AND DO NOT BUY HERE

Local fish shop - Went to get a lamb doner - No lamb doner only chicken now! - Well i thought lets give it a go - How wrong i was! Firstly they tried charging £9.70 instead of £7.90 and when i unwrapped it at home , it looked as bad as it tasted and went into the compost. I very very rarely through food out - see the pics here to see why! Also inside the place it has become grubbier, a change of owner? Gone massively downhill.

Stopped by for lunch. The owners and staff members were friendly. Ordered fish and chips, and chicken kebab. Both were delightful. The fish was great but the chips were just OK. The price was decent for the amount of generous portion. Both dishes came with some veggie on the side. This restaurant is right by the Kew station.

Great Lamb Donna with masses of fresh salad. I recommend it!

We had a chicken shish with chips. Chips were fresh and perfect. Chicken was tasty and well cooked. Tasty!!! Great staff.

They are not caring about customer services only want to make their profits which is not be sufficient for the business. Firstly, they asked for already cooked 2 fishes when I ordered but I refused so they have to cook. I full paid and took them home but I found that they 2 fishes £18 were fresh cooked not chips £2.90. As a result they gave me old rubbish ships that made them increased profit. Don’t’ go to the shop! They are dishonest people and you would destroy your day out!

Ok. Meat was not cooked fully. It would be nice to have metal cutlery, other than a woodern fork, when eating in. I would say, take your time when cooking the meat.

DO NOT EAT THERE. I bought food around 11.30 am. Chips reheat problem from day befor. Burger, rest Day I spend in toilet... serwis, no comment...

Classic London kebab house. Don’t let the name fool you. That’s probably just a sop to the snooty locals. I think this will become a regular pre or post football haunt for me.

The chips were nice however, there was a young foreign lady in there who deemed it appropriate to take photos of my brother who was standing outside because he dresses differently, maybe you shouldn't be letting people doss inside your shop taking photos of paying customers. Rude and will never come here again.

Very small portion of chips; like ordering a child's portion, even large chips there's not much. Crazy how there's chippies these days stingy with potatoes?

Nice fish and chips but they kept me waiting for my food even though I ordered before people behind me in the queue.

The food burgers and chips were goods as well as the Price but selling a 2 pounds milkshake on the menu then Say at the moment of Paying it cost 3.90 is not an honest practice.

I had ordered fish & chips and veggies burger then they were so delicious.

I went to eat with you today but unfortunately the food leaves much to be desired I ate some reheated and almost cold potatoes and the sheep was like a shell and cold such a thing is not possible.

Do not order from this place. I did not recieve my full order when I called restaurant they said they sent correct order and maybe the delivery driver stole the food and refused to refund or send a replacement Said it wasnt his problem. Absolutely appallin by there service and his awful attitude

Great quality. Always fresh and tasty. I’ve had pretty much everything off the menu here. Delivery is quick and friendly. Had one issue once which was dealt with quickly politely and professionally. Out of all the fish and chip shops in this area. Kew fish bar is by far the best.

I was eating my kebab and thought it was a burnt bit of hard meat pulled it out my mouth and it was the plastic part of when you open the sauce I know accidents happen so I called the shop up and said what had happened to which the man who answered the phone said I'm to busy atm and put the phone down,I have been using this kebab since I moved to kew which I said this to him when I called him straight back he was rude and I will never use this place again disgusting manors rude

Incredibly good chips. Just phenomenal. They also sell a wide variety of other things, like onion rings and pies and kebabs and fish, all of which are impeccable. The prices are very reasonable, especially for that area of London. It's also literally 30 seconds walk from Kew Gardens station, so very convenient if you want to pick up a fish supper for your tube ride home after a nice day out at the botanical gardens.

Absolutely fantastic! Great customer service and nice and clean. The reason I gave 4 stars is because they don't do gluten free fish so I had chips and salad. My brother said his fish n chips were wonderful and he's hard to please! I do hope they will introduce gluten free options.

Very rude people work there. Happy takeing your money but when u have a problem got nothing to do with us. My chicken shish and the pitta bread was burned. Grill mark but black grill mark I didn't eat it. Burned food its cancer. Also my wife found a hair in her salad. Took one 1hr 10mints. Waste of time and money. Never ever again. Sorry.

Great food and a good variety of food to chose from. It can be expensive and there's not a lot of seating but food usually comes quick and staff is really friendly too.

Amazing! Food cooked fresh while you wait and they had three tables to sit in and eat if you wanted! It was open when we needed, food was tasty and it was just what our group needed before going into Kew Gardens. Very handy, right outside the tube 👍

This is a fish and chips/kebab restaurant located near Kew Garden Station. I had 9.8 pounds of mixed kebabs and my friend had 9 pounds of fish and chips with 6.9 pounds of cod fish plus 2.1 pounds of chips. For this price, the portion was very large and I couldn't eat it all. Not only the quantity but also the taste is good. Personally, I liked the fish and chips here better than the fish and chips at a downtown pub, which a guide in London gave 7.5 out of 10. I think the quantity of the kebab was better than the taste, but it was decent and I had a great meal. If you are looking around the Royal Botanical Garden and want to eat well even though your pocketbook is tight, I recommend this restaurant. Also, there are menus for vegetarians, so you can choose according to your taste. And because the interior design wasn't particularly well thought out, it's not a place to dine in style. You can think of it as a cost-effective restaurant. Lastly, this restaurant only accepts cash. Take cash with you!

Probably the best value for money and quality combination for eats in Kew for the tasty no nonsense scenario. Excellent kebabs prepared to a very high standard by diligent friendly staff and very good fish and chips as well. An important local resource

After a perfect day out at Kew, found this fish bar with excellent service. Good prices and brilliant food. My partner and I really enjoyed the food, good music and good atmosphere. Five stars.

Brilliant fish and chips. Been here twice. Probably the crispiest batter on the fish of any place I have bought from. Friendly helpful staff. Fish cooked fresh to order, but well worth the wait.

Cheap and cheerful takeaway which offers loads of choices, including kebabs, fish and chips, veggie burgers, etc. Was cash only when we were there which is a bit annoying but just bear that in mind. Friendly staff who brought us our food on plates which was nice as they didn't have to

Lovely small fish and chips shop with a classic choices of fish, kebabs and burgers with home made chips. You can eat in or outside if the weather is good. Only negative point is the price. Can be a bit cheaper.
