Lovely atmosphere. Booking a table was easy although we were in a big group. Ordering was easy. The food was lovely. Will definitely visit again.

Fresh & tasty food served by friendly staff in a clean environment. The phone line of the Cafe does not seem to work if one was to try & phone in to place an order & not accepting alternate credit cards like Amex does not help either!

Really good food! Food was on point, and really tasty. Amazing service, staff were really friendly and explained everything.we came from Bexleyheath to try this place, didn’t disappoint.

The guys. Needs basic hygiene sorted out. The guy was eating while cooking. Have you goy your hygiene certificate sorted out yet.

Unfriendly staff, asked for tea without sugar. We received with sugar sent it back no apologies given We ordered 2 masala baps. Only one arrived waited 10 min for another. no explanation given until I asked. Again no apologies. Was told waitress put one on order. When second one arrived hardly any salad on the plate and not much filling in the bap this time.

I have been eating here for a few years and unfortunately the service, portions and food quality has gone down hill.I ordered the KLC breakfast and received burnt toast, cold beans and soggy chips. Hugely dissapointing for what was once such a nice local cafe.

Be careful, mistakes happen but they should be correcting it when it does. They refused to correct it. Never again.

This place is over priced , slow service , they can’t handle busy periods , kept saying we can’t take your food order cause it’s soo busy , asked us twice what we were having to drink , the menus are filthy and the stuff on the table like ketchup salt pepper were also filthy , had dust sitting next to us on the ledge , really poor !! Owner is good chap but needs to help out more rather than socialising in busy periods , the waitress needs to stop wiping her mouth when taking orders and telling people to eat when most of the food wasn’t ready !

Had a full Hinglish and introduced my teenaged son to it. I was worried about the spice level but he loved it ! Good service, friendly staff and manager - and would go again.

We order food over £60. With fresh lemon water that glass was also charged 2.50 for ssize of tea mug. Saying it is price since 2-3 uears but last two years was covid Not same to lot as goon.

Kenton Cafe is THE BEST hygienic restaurant. Their Masala omelette and peri peri chips are incredible. All other dishes are absolutely delicious. Their hospitality is incomparable. Highly recommend...

Breakfast was delicious, I opted for pork sausages, a bacon, fried eggs, masala mushrooms, masala beans with the in house baked bread (toasted). My mum wanted to try out the peri peri chips and masala chips, both had its individual flavours peri peri one being slightly spicy. I visited Kenton Lane Cafe yesterday with some work friends.I did not have to wait too long, due to the 'eat out to help out' scheme. The service was prompt and a member of staff reassured us that we would not have to wait too long. Whilst having our meal, the manager did approach us a few times to ensure everything was okay, we were always greeted with a smile.The food was good and great value for money. Lots of veggie options and it was a clean environment.I really appreciated the managers honesty, he advised me of what brand he used for his Soya burger, so that I could make it at home. Food was actually fine and waiter was lovely , we ordered breakfast by mistake the waiter misheard the order and forgot to add an item to the meal. This was no problem for me as I myself have worked in the hospitality service and used to appreciate customers being understanding of my mistakes so always ensure that I am when someone has mistaken an order. I was on my way to just ask the young waiter to let him know and was stopped by the manager i informed him of the matter but made very clear that it wasn’t a big deal to me and my i understood that mistakes happen. He turned to the young boy and told him to pay attention in the most condescending voice , from that moment on I gathered the manager was obviously very difficult to work for as I ensured that my request was not a complaint ect . He then sat the poor boy down and had a long and a very patronising conversation with him to then appear to send him home!! I honestly felt so sorry for the kid as he was only young and made it very clear that I was okay with the mistake. The manager has completely put me off the place and will not be returning . Clearly a man with a big ego but small cafe.

My brother ordered chicken burger and chips from this place using deliveroo. The food was on point. Would definitely be ordering from here again.

I went with one of my friends for breakfast. We got there before opening time so sat in the car. Managed to get parking right outside which was lucky!Once it opened we found a table for ourselves and then ordered. My friend and I ordered the "Full Hinglish" with the masala tea. My friend doesn't eat eggs so they gave her an extra hash brown as a substitute (they were kind enough to substitute for anything!). The tea arrived first and we knew it was a tea bag job rather than an actual cooked masala tea so we weren't too happy but it was ok.Breakfast arrived, by this time the cafe was completely full and people were waiting outside for a table. Everything was lovely, my eggs were a little burnt but edible so I didn't say anything. Not badly priced for the 2 of us but you do feel a little rushed knowing others are waiting. We will be going back again though!

Been here two times before - great food, took today today and made a booking this morning for 8 for 1.30 pm taking my Mum specially to try the Tuesday Khidhi which is heavily promoted by KLC - was very disappointed to be told by the waiter that they had run-out at 1.30pm and to make matters worse there was still a board showing "Khidhi" Tuesday Special - thought they should have taken the board out not to disappoint customers

The manager/owner was very rude. Didn't show any customer service and was very patronising. We booked online to find out that our table was only available for 45 minutes (this was not mentioned on the website). He did not apologise or offer an alternative except asking us to wait '5' minutes for a table to clear up.Having waited 15 minutes I asked how long it would be, only for him to turn round and say 'I cannot shift customers, what would you like me to do' - so why take on more customers than your capacity can take? Very bad experience, didn't show any empathy and was argumentative.

Omelette was very bland; quality of eggs must have been poor as the omelette looked a strange colour. Avoid at all cost

Ordered a bacon bap on uber eats. It came with 1 piece of bacon inside. When I called the restaurant the man was argumentative and said that's how it came and I should have asked for more even though that was not an option on uber eats and a standard bap should not come with one piece. Very disappointed. The man then decided to shout at me and be undermining. I will never order from this lazy, cheap and rude business ever again. Ridiculous.

My cousin and I went to this cafe for the first time and we were both amazed!Lovely staff, friendly and full of enthusiasm and smiles; the food was out of this world. Really tasty, spicy, moreish and with a lovely twist between Italian/British and Indian dishes. Will definitely be going here more often now!

Me and my partner came here for brunch today. I had never been before and was pleasently surprised. The menu was very appetizing. The food was very tasty, especially the peri peri chips and the masala beans. The staff were very helpful and provided recommendations. They were very attentive and checked if everything was ok once we recieved our food. The service was fast. I will definitely be returning and will bring my parents next time.

Had a nice tasty breakfast at KLC on a Monday morning. Like the Indian twist on a uk cafe format. Masala fries fantastic,Masala beans even more so. Will return when in the area or may make a special trip. Will try the full hindengish next time. Chatted to the owners,lovely people.

Have been meaning to come here for literally years after hearing about it from few people. Having gone there this weekend... mmhhhh.

The atmosphere inside is absolutely amazing. It was cosy more like a canteen. It had a lovely community vibe and the food was so tasty. The staff was fairly quick with our drinks and they were so helpful and friendly. It was my first time coming to a cafe like this. Me and my friend was amazed at how the fusion of Indian food and traditional English style cafe food works so well. I ordered a full English breakfast with peri peri chips, and a fresh lemmonade. I would highly recommend this cafe! Not to mention how generous the food portions were. My only thing I would like to say for future development is to maybe include something sweet on the menu like cakes or pancakes. But they are doing a smashing job.

The food is really nice, but I have given them three stars instead of five because their customer service is bad, and also the staff seem very lethargic. However, if you were to go with family/friends or if you had something to do, while you wait, Kenton Lane Café is a good experience for anyone who is looking for good food!

My partner Nita won two breakfasts in a competition so we went today. The food was awesome, pic included. Really great take on the traditional Cafe and the service was very warm and welcoming. Nice people, great food...Will spread the word and see you again very soon...YUM!

We visited Kenton Lane Cafe this morning and as vegetarians we were all thrilled. Not only do they have a varied vegetarian menu, they cook all of the vegetarian food separately to the meat -which is very comforting to hear, especially as we've been vegetarian so long. Such a refreshing treat that an establishment take vegetarianism so seriously.

KLC is high recommended cafe in case you are around greater London.Great vegetarian menu and good options .

I had breakfast yesterday, it was disgusting, never again, toast reheated, chips were reheated,scrambbled egg was rubber,1, Im still feeling sick, I visited this cafe before, it was good, but yesterday it wasn't worth the visit. I agree with Blue29182013 comment, standards have dropped.

Have been a regular here for many years, but have noticed that standards have dropped during my last 2 visits. There fresh juice has now shrunk to a tiny glass for the same price as before (£2.50) and served lukewarm. They apparently have no ice during this extremely hot weather. Food portion sizes have become stingy, was literally served a tablespoon of baked beans. Even service has become worse with miserable wait staff who don't smile or acknowledge you. Not the same anymore. What a shame. All good things come to an end evidently. There are much better places to go to I suppose.

Cafe was very busy indeed, luckily we had pre-booked a table. Service was slow and food took an age to arrive. It was not as tasty as before, actually a bit bland! Not sure if we’d return. Average all round. Hey ho.

Prebooked a table on a busy Sunday morning. The food was very good and "fairly" priced for the surroundings/atmosphere. Service was good considering how busy they were. I would return for a wonderful breakfast/brunch with an Indian twist.

I've been visiting Kenton Cafe for few years now and it's one of my favourite breakfast place in UK. Magical food every time. Been here with both friends and family. One of the hidden gems of Harrow.

i was very happy with the Manager, very welcoming, honesh Man. The food is great, good and generous portions for the price. There is so much choices for veggie and for non veg too! Fresh food is very important. This was my 2nd visit. Have requested him to open one up in Manchester!!

My wife and I have been going to this lovely fusion cafe for the past 8 years and have never been disappointed, the owners are welcoming and available if you have any comments or queries. Kids and families are catered for. Parking is available right outside and free. If you fancy a reading a paper after a hearty breakfast, no one will be rushing you out the door. Tuesday they make kichi, which my wife loves. If your planning to go at the weekend I would recommend booking a table in advance. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Been a few times & always enjoyed all the foods, sandwiches & chips. It’s pricy for a cafe but the food is always freshly cooked, service is always fast efficient & very friendly so no problem. We will continue to go.

Went for breakfast today. Based upon recommendations and good reviews. I couldn’t understand why when we were asked to order drinks the waitress said I couldn’t purchase a fruit shoot. She said it was for kids only. Why have it listed as a drink then?? Also staff with long hair not wearing hairnets or have hair tied up. Waitress didn’t ask how we wanted the fried eggs. Also the order wasn’t read back. I would have given this 5 stars but few things need polishing up here. Weird atmosphere but good breakfast.

My son mistakenly ordered a soya burger for me (me too - I hate Soya ughhhh) but to keep the peace I ate it - never looked back and now always order the Soya burger. From the texture of the burger, the taste when you bite into it, to the freshly baked bun, absolutely delicious. Of course do not forget to upgrade your chips to peri peri to complete the perfect brunch, add a masala tea and the meal is complete. The place was packed understandably so

All breads and rolls are baked freshly on a daily basis. Very vegetarian friendly not impressed by the fresh orange juice hope to see a fresh juicer on my next visit. Very busy with regulars I suggest you make a visit.

Un pequeño pero muy popular negocio familiar que tiene una gran variedad de opciones vegetarianas. Me encanta su toque asiático particularmente a la cafetería de clásicos como patatas fritas picante o sándwich de Bombay. El ambiente es bastante fresco y decente. En cuanto al precio es bastante razonable, lo que probablemente explica por qué son taaan ocupado cada vez que pasa el fin de semana. Mi única crítica es el espacio, que debido a sus limitaciones, tiene un montón de las mesas colocadas bastante estrechamente a sus vecinos.

Yo diría que este café es muy caro comparado con lo que deberían pagar por tipo de café de comida. También tienes que llevar efectivo, ya que no disponen de tarjeta de crédito.

A este café con una mezcla india varias veces, cada vez que recuerdo por qué no volver a menudo, pagar más de la cuenta por la buena comida. Recientemente pagué 7 libras por una tortilla con un café negro. Sólo puede ser a mí, pero que parece un poco demasiado el tamaño de la porción. Decir que no volvería de nuevo, pero como un lujo y no un evento cada día

Fuimos allí para un desayuno tarde. Este fue un gran descubrimiento con una comida riquísima. Estaba muy concurrido, así que tardaba mucho tiempo para conseguir una mesa, y era un poco lento con órdenes, pero estaba completamente lleno en ese momento. La comida todavía salió en buen tiempo y era de muy buena calidad y precio muy razonable. Este lugar tenía alternativas muy agradable (India/fusión) que el desayuno inglés es un gran concepto!

Cuando sales de allí como un olor de cebolla, creo que están tratando de ahorrar dinero en la extracción de aire. Es una pena porque la comida es buena.

Para comida que no es tan mágica que gente mediocre comida que puede ser comido jamás eran. Patatas fritas, chili es el favorito de mi esposa y té masala.

Everyone had been raving about this place, it was supposedly 'the place' for Sunday brunch..masala omelette a must...we dragged ourselves there, around 12ish on a Sunday. Luckily got a table straight away, people after us had 20min+ wait...So we ordered the masala omelette with the masala beans which came with chips and a salad. The food arrived pretty fast but the taste was average, eggs required salt and actual masala, not just veggies. It tasted more like normal veggie omelette. We asked for chilly powder and hot sauce. The beans were pretty tasty though. The chai was nice. Overall the price pretty reasonable, more than the average cafe but still ok. Would I go again? Well probably but only if others wanted to try it out, I wouldn't chose to go, actually no I wouldn't go again...would rather make it at home!

with so much hype for this place i was expecting it to be the best thing since slice bread. i was slightly let down. firstly, they only accept cash. so make sure you go to the cash machine first. also parking is not easy on kenton lane.this is basically just your normal average cafe, but owned by indians with a slightly indian twist on the normal greasy english breakfast.i went with my wife and child. we all had 3 different dishes. my wife did not like her bombay sandwich as much as she did at bombay central. my breakfast dish was just normal average cafe breakfast that you get at any greasy spoon cafe. however the portions are on the large size and is excellent value for money. you could order one dish for 2 adults.i won't be going out of my way to come back here anytime soon. maybe until next year! but it is unusual place, its something different and therefore it's worth visiting at least once to check it out. it's a local alternative than going into central london to dishoom for brunch

Been wanting to come here for ages to try the the breakfast with an Indian twist!So excitedly ordered masala tea, masala omelette, masala beans and talked myself out of upgrading my chips to peri peri in case I had overdone the spice! Food tasted great and there was such a nice friendly vibe to the place with such a mix of people. Great value and so much on the menu that would satisfy my spice addiction. Next time I'll have the Bombay sandwich style jacket potato!Great local cafe, couldn't ask for more!

The Kenton Lane Café is a typical café with an indian twist:- omelettes, etc are really good- they will add in indian spices/make indian style sandwiches which are really good- happy to accommodate most requests- child friendly.It can get busy, especially on Sundays therefore best to phone/book to ensure you get a table.There is limited parking directly outside but plenty of residential side streets to park on.Highly recommended.

For £4 you get one heck of a breakfast. But you have to have ordered by 11am. Hetal, his family and staff are willing to come to the table to serve you, and always greet you. It's like home from home!

Stopping at nearby Premier Inn where restaurant was fortunately out of commission due to refurb. We had tried breakfast there a month ago and decidedly not to be repeated. Saw KLC reviews and gave it a go. Service good and attentive with the opportunity to be selective about making up your breakfast rather than going overboard. Mixture of fellow eaters including whitevan men and seeming local residents. Try it and you will not be disappointed

Good size, clean cafe with plenty of on street parking outside. Welcome was friendly and service, fast and efficient. Food quality was good, portion sizes ample and prices more than reasonable. Well worth popping in if in the area.

Being a 45 yr old English man, I'd consider myself as a connoisseur of English Breakfasts over the years. This weekend I took my family consisting of two children under the age of 6 two adults in their early forties and two parents in their early 60's. We complimented the food throughout the meal. Firstly, the English Breakfast was perfect in every way. From the perfect sunny side egg to the farm fresh-tasting bacon. Two rounds of toast towering from the same plate was also a nice touch, adding to the excitement. I had the Chai Latte with mine and I have to say, CoStarNero, it is the smoothest I've tasted. (and I'm a big Costa fan). Lovely atmosphere and for vegetarian, they pride themselves in cooking/frying vegetarian food separately from the meat. Nice touch!!If they added milkshakes/desserts to the menu they would be the ultimate cafe to beat within the local community.

We live locally and have been to this cafe a few times now. We had a breakfast and chose the items we wanted. All was very nicely cooked and tasty. It was very busy in the cafe but our food still arrived in good time. We do feel the waitress could do with smiling and having a bit more interaction with customers but that won't stop us returning.

This was my 2nd visit to Kenton Lane Café for Sunday breakfast (more like brunch as it was nearly 1pm). Initially heard so many people rave about this place that had to visit to see what all the fuss was about and have to say it was all warranted On the first visit the place was packed and had to wait around 15 minutes for a table for 2. On the 2nd visit the place was almost empty (apart from 2 other couples) and on entering was slightly worried due to the lack of dinners. However after around 10 minutes in and the place was packed again. On both visits I had the full veggie breakfast and a masala omelette with chips (yes everything you see in the 2 pictures attached was all for me). The masala tea is to die for.

Love the food here and try and visit at least twice a month. Unfortunately they got it wrong last week. We were having a late lunch and as they close at 5:00pm the staff decided to start sweeping and mopping the floor as we were still eating. There is nothing worse then the smell of bleach while you are trying to eat. Of course they stopped when we complained but should be only cleaning after the customers have finished eating. The food is always delicious and the staff awesome here so no other complains.

Although I live far, I have started visiting Kenton Cafe regularly with my friends. I have never been let down and truly recommend this place to everyone. Best in London.

We come here as often as possible because it is a fantastic place for great quality breakfast/brunch/lunch. It's so tasty with lots of options and the portion sizes are very generous. Came here for breakfast after it was highly recommended by a friend. We reserved a table for 8 people, up on arrival we had to wait a few minutes until it was ready which was fine as it was really busy. Cafe has a good selection on the menu. Their masala chips and peri peri chips are fantastic. I can see why there is always a wait to be seated. Would definately visit this place again.

First time going to this place. It was extremely busy for Sunday's always advised to call ahead and have a table reserved. The owner is a nice friendly mans very warm and welcoming to all. The waiters could do with some training as they didn't know what it was they was bringing out to us when we asked what it was like all we got was I don't know considering there was 8 of us it was hard to keep up with felt that their understanding was great. However the food was really tasty good choices on the menu and their masala chips was delicious. I would definitely go back there again.

Spicy masala chips are a must try.... Had a KLC Premium A.M.T Panini. Avocado, Mozzarella, Tomato and Mixed herbs. Would have taste better with spicy green chutney.

I visited with my family upon recommendation and had an extremely pleasant experience at Kenton lane cafe. There were lots of vegetarian options to choose from, I enjoyed the masala omelette and peri chips. The staff was friendly and the food was ready in good time. Overall, a lovely cafe and good value.

We visited on Saturday for brunch with a group of friends, the service is awful, the waitress hardly speaks nor understands English, we ignored that aspect and the food came, its wasn't bad for a cafe, basic omelette served with a few spice additions. However when the bill arrived, we were shocked it as £70 for seven of us, and three people had shared meals, it was then that we were told that there was a 15% service charge..FOR A CAFE, WHAT A RIP OFF, THE MENU A LAMINATED PIECE OF CARD, STATES FOR PARTIES OVER 8, WE WERE 7 AND STILL CHARGED. I DESPISE PLACES THAT RIP PEOPLE OFF AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BILL. I am sure that the bill wasn't correct either, it was rushed through so we had no way of checking...ITS A RIP OFF AVOID IT.......

The food is relatively decent, the service is hit and miss. Th fact that this place has queues at the weekends should tell you it's worth going. I think much of it is hype, it is worth a trip and a taste. Agree with other reviews, the Indian Tea is terrible, Peru chips are lovely. Enjoy!

Nice to have a menu with a twist, but could be executed better. Can be somewhat hit and miss. Peri chips are great. Omelette sometimes watery. Indian tea is rubbish and Bombay Sandwich is nice.

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Kenton Lane Cafe. The food was beautiful, service was impeccable and I love the freshly squeezed orange juice. It's also very reasonably priced.
