Miller and Carter in Harrow

The service was very fast and amazing. The staff sumita let us order on the phone and was very helpful and friendly, had amazing time.

Restaurant - Miller and Carter Harrow (Stanmore) Date of visit - 7th Feb 2025 Time booked - 8.30pm Guests - 5 Booked for a meal at the Harrow restaurant having visited other branches but found the service to be very poor. Sat for 20 minutes before going to the entrance pew to ask whether I order at the bar or at the entrance. I spoke with Laila who said she would take my order and find my server but I said to her I would just prefer her as no one else seemed interested in my table. She was excellent and couldn't fault her at all and said goodbye at the end of her shift. Then again the poor service started.... Clearing plates before everyone finished eating, having to ask for menus, staff clanging cutlery to setup tables rather than serve mine. When it came to payment there was no one to be found, I even went into the bar twice to find someone. Food 7/10 Service 2/10 Having spent £250 it wasn't the best experience nor a good experience.

Ribs were very dry and not much BBQ sauce...chips cold too...disappointing

We had a booking of 50+ people and Nicole was our waitress. As you could imagine with a group so big , there were very stressful times but Nicole accommodated everyone so effortlessly and never made us feel like we were a burden or a bother in any way. Her patience is fantastic with the young kids and her customer service is 10/10. She deserves a pay rise after today!! Thank you Nicole, you are an asset to Miller and Carter !

The staff are the reason for the high review. The staff were amazing, especially Mohammed. Food is mediocre, certainly not worth the money. Onion loaf was delicious but burger and steak are nothing to get excited about, was a very expensive meal for nothing better than any other basic food chain.

I visited on Thursday evening and had an amazing time. we were served by Rory who was very helpful and friendly, his jokes had us all laughing. He was very kind and patient with my elderly sister and her wife and gave them lovely food reccomendations. We will definitely be coming back. service and food 10/10. jokes and innuendo 10/10. my sister in law is eager to return and be served by Rory.

I had a lovely birthday dinner at Miller & Carter. The food was really tasty and the service was amazing, especially from Molly. Would definitely recommend this place if you looking for the perfect steak.

Two steaks were not blue the fish was overcooked the lamb was fine no Diet Coke on tap had to have bottles more cost

It was my mums 85th birthday and it did not go as well as I would have expected. I paid 307.75p for 5, starters great, main meal a let down. One of the meals had to be returned as we asked for well done and it was rare. It came back re cooked after we finished our meal. Mine and my husbands - we asked for medium rare and it was rare. I know what ours should have looked like as we eat steak at gauchos and I was not going to send ours back as it would have upset my 85 year old mum!. We eat here a lot and the food is average, not sure what happened this time but a real let down. Lets see what management have to say,

Her warm and approachable demeanor made us feel so welcome and really enhanced the overall dining experience. The food was also excellent—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Everything from the starters to the main courses was top-notch, and it’s clear that quality and presentation are a priority here. I would highly recommend Miller & Carter to anyone looking for great food and even better service. This place is amazing! The staff, Martina, Devon,Nicole and Sumita were the best and I highly recommend this restaurant just for the staff alone. Wednesday wholeness! Great ambience, great tasting food and perfect for a mate catch up. Zena was out wait staff and she was very friendly & knowledgeable about the menu.

Restaurant was really cold We had to keep our coats on during the meal. Management advised there was nothing they could do and just shrugged their shoulders. Food has gone downhill too with most of our meals served up warm Lunchtime menu is quite expensive now and not value for money Would not recommend eating at this Miller and Carter

Host was really nice, however waiter needs more service skills. And how he speaks to his guests dinning. Food was cold. Then was told that because the sauce is cold, that then makes the temperature of the chicken cold? Within seconds. Then asked for water for the table and didn't receive it. Saw my own waiter having a wee at the toilet in the guests facilities during service. Asked for cutlery and then it was taken from another table. Waiter was complaining that he was on his own in his section that comprised of 4/5 tables? Service in general was terrible. Real let down for a miller and carter brand.

Very good food for meat/fish eaters. Vegan choice limited and very, very plain: good but compared to meat/fish presentation/appearance made it appear very bland and unappetising.

25th December 2024 my family went for Christmas dinner, the food was absolutely shocking, starters were not what we were led to believe we were ordering. The 2 turkey dinners did not get eaten, at all, it was like processed food. The roasters were cold and raw inside, although they looked cooked, the carrots were cold and raw. The steaks the other 3 people had were also cold, the rib eye was raw. I would not advise going here at all.

Went for Christmas Day with my family of 5. The whole experience was awful, the table was dirty upon arrival, the salt and pepper shakers were empty, no drinks menu available. The waiters were rushed off their feet and you over booked and did not have the capacity to facilitate a good service. The food was awful and things were missing from the Christmas dinner. The starters of prawns were freezing cold. The Christmas dinner was tiny and items were missing. The desserts were vile and the apple one was raw and not cooked. The whole day was ruined for our family and we are so upset by the whole experience and the money we spent. We saved all year for this and for it to be totally ruined by you guys over booking guests and not being able to fully cater for them was appalling and my whole family is deeply upset by how ruined our Christmas was by this. I am taking it further as I would like some compensation or moneu back for the awful meal and service.

Booked to go for my birthday ,lovely restaurant inside Staff nice but it was absolutely freezing in there. People were sitting around in coats ,which made it quite uncomfortable to sit in there it was so cold that the garlic butter on the steak did not melt. Food was nice .No toilet roll in the toilets so a bit of a shame,as cost a lot of money.

We had our office Christmas lunch meal at Miller and Carter in Uxbridge Road Stanmore on 19/12/2024. There were good parking facilities. From the moment we entered the restaurant our waitress/manager Devon met us with an incredible smile and made us all feel instantly welcome. She was so friendly, helpful and incredibly funny. Food was tasty, but I was not happy with the quantity of ribs which I received and she immediately offered to get another half rack of ribs for me. She checked to make sure everyone was happy with their meal and asked if we needed any more drinks, cracking jokes as she was serving us. Devon really made my day and I can honestly say she was the best waitress I have had the pleasure to meet!! Keep up the good work Devon. You're a star!!! 🌟

Walked in two days back straight from the airport after a long flight just because a friend recommended. From 7pm to 8.30pm all that happened was a waitress taking our order and having one beer and a coke ONLY! Call it negligence or ignorance, it’s absurd to keep two customers waiting for 1.5hrs and having them leave with the worst experience ever in London. Manager was apologetic but there was no acceptable excuse for this terrible experience. As a matter of fact, everybody else who came in after us (who sat around us) received their food on time, had their desserts and left while we were started on our table. First meal in London was ruined and we walked out STARVING!!

We had a lovely date night at Miller & Carter Harrow! Nicole’s service was so attentive and friendly! The food including the gluten free options were also delicious. Would definitely be back!

I came this evening for dinner with my hubbie for my birthday. Rebecca was our Server and she went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable. She was attentive, friendly and very helpful. Thank you so much.

I normally order Miller and Carter through Uber Eats - and the food is good some of the time but not all of the time e.g. ribs not grilled properly half the time and not heated enough - Saturday was supposed to be a celebration dinner as our annoying loud neighbours finally left the street and I wanted to use this moment to enjoy a good meal at your restaurant. Service was just dreadful - the main course took almost 80 minutes to arrive - and when it did the waiter didnt bring the beer my friend asked for originally to accompany the meal- finding someone to deliver the drink wasted another 20 minutes - at the end no service tip was left owing to the failures. The food was a lot better than what I receive from Uber Eats with more more exciting options such as the T-bone steak. I ordered medium - this came out medium rare - half of it was too chewy so I left it. My friend ordered the fillet steak - he wanted medium too - it came out medium rare - he was commenting on how much better a Waitrose £15 steak was - not good for a premium offering from Miller and Carter

Shane was an incredible waiter and handled our large group well.

Staff very friendly. place had great atmosphere. Our server Shane, knew the menu items and gave us good recommendations. the food was great from starters to desserts. We just about managed to finish off the desserts.

Rib eye Steak was cooked to perfection. Food was very delicious. Great 2-3 course menu price. Great house wine (Malbec). Would definite come back again.

I do not appreciate lettuce replacing the spinach I ordered, and for which I was charged £4.95! Surely, the sauteed green mixed veg would have been a far better substitute? However, my delivery was on time, and I really enjoyed my meal☺
