Ribs ok . Don't order shared veg unless you like peppers a lot! It had 2 large pieces of red and green peppers,4 slices of yellow peppers , 2 pieces of courgette and a tiny amount of onion.....not much variety1 food was also Luke warm.

Had an amazing time, Shane was lovely.

The service was phenomenal by Agnss.

Devon was our waiter, and she was extremely nice to us and the kids. The atmosphere was so cosy and lovely, and we would definitely come here again.

Came in for lunch today and got served by Shane. Had the ribs, they were amazing, best I’ve ever had. Service was incredible, Shane’s presence lit up the room. He made us laugh constantly and I happy I had the fortune to be served by him. 10/10 well done. Give him a raise at once!

the amazing nicole made our girls night so fun , comforting and extremely entertaining! the best host someone could ask for. I hope and pray she excels in life as she is a lovely individual and Miller & carter are so so lucky to have such a valued member. We came for my husband's birthday for a treat, and the food was delightful! My daughter votes the best ribs she's eaten, and it was a great decision! We were too full for dessert, but definitely need to make a return for it. Also the dissarano blush was delicious :) Henry was great with our daughter as well... Always a selling point 😉

I’ve been here a couple times previously and it has been ok. This time we were a party of 7 and had a nice time. Our waitress was so lovely and incredibly patient with us. We over ordered way too much food but it was great fun. In all honesty I didn’t think any of the staters were nice and would avoid them in the future. We had prawns, cheesy garlic bread and buffalo wings. Unfortunately they had run out of everything we actually wanted (calamari, Camembert). The prawns were sadly very bland and the wings lacked buffalo flavour. The mains were good - nice steak and the wedge was refreshing. The sides were a little disappointing. The bone marrow, ribs and brisket Mac and cheese didn’t have the best taste. The bbq flavour was dominating and took away from the taste of all three which was a shame. The normal Mac and cheese was better. I think in future if I return, I’ll only come for the steak and no starters or sides as they were really disappointing.

As a regular customer here, we are always very happy with the food and the service. We are always recognised and greeted by Martina at the greeting desk. All of the staff are chatty and helpful, especially Agnes. Henry was very attentive and friendly 😄

Food was great and staff are really lovely. Made us feel welcome at the door and table, had the fillet 8oz and sirloin 8oz both with chunky chips and sautéed greens! Thank you for a lovely evening

I’ve been up to Miller and Carter Harrow many times, and every time it’s been absolutely amazing from the food to the service. Molly and Nicole have been regular waitresses for me and both of them have been incredible. Super friendly and welcoming. The food quality is excellent worth every penny!!! The overall environment of the restaurant is exquisite.

Upon arriving with my elderly mother on a rather hot day, we were not allowed in nor even an offer to sit on the terrace while they get ready to open. Not an offer of a drink while we wait or even a menu to look at, basically turned away and door slammed shut and locked as it was 11.40 not 12. Totally unacceptable! So, we went up the road to ‘The Hare’ great British pub and more, great staff and service , great atmosphere and wonderful food. Maybe it was a blessing is disguise 😎

Went for a family function and the food was good only complaint was my chicken was so dry but everything else was good. We had over 20 of us and we all managed to get our meals roughly same time and the service was very good. Definitely recommend

The food was not great, very basic the service was terrible. I had to get off the table 3 times to have someone’s attention. It was a birthday I spoke in advance about getting a candle with a desert they completely forgot I had to ask 3 more people afterwards we were happy to leave the birthday surprise was ruined and I wouldn’t be coming back nor will I recommend this place to anyone! Terrible service and food is very basic the prawns were over cooked the meat was too rare! I didn’t enjoy it at all

The steak was overcooked, well done when I wanted medium so a bit tough. Otherwise the food was delicious.

When we arrived early on Saturday evening to celebrate my father's ninety eighth birthday, the hostess Martina went out of her way to make sure we were seated somewhere quiet; both my parents wear hearing aids and busy restaurants can be challenging for them. As a result we were able to really enjoy our evening. Eva, did a wonderful job serving our food and, at the end of our meal, brought chocolates and a candle to blow out while she, Martina and another staff member joined us in singing happy birthday. It made my father's night. The staff really did go above and beyond, and as a result, it was a night we'll all remember for years to come. Thank you Martina, thank you Eva and thank you Miller & Carter. [My review from 5 years ago: Service was good; friendly but professional and they went out of their way when I made a request for something that wasn't actually on the menu. Some of the food was very nice, well presented and tasted good, but the smoked salmon starter was very disappointing (croutons?!?). Atmosphere lively, bordering on too noisy; not the place for a quiet intimate dinner and not ideal if your group has members with hearing difficulty but I wouldn't class it as rowdy. Overall a good experience and not overpriced. BTW the chips/french fries were very good.]

I was treated to lunch here on 5th Sept 24 never been before. Starters were good, mains, i ordered rump steak (medium) with a side order of half ribs which was cooked to perfection and melted i your mouth, couldn't eat it all so took the rest home in a doggy bag. The Wife ordered something vegetarian (bless her) but apparently it too was also very good. Deserts were delicious. Food: 5☆ Service: 5☆ perfect service, never harrased, lovely young lady. Will definitely visit again P&M

I recently dined at This Steak House, and it was an exceptional experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a night out. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to the wonderful staff, especially Agnes, Martina, and Devon, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and taken care of. Their kindness and attentiveness truly enhanced our dining experience. I can't wait to return for another fantastic meal! Highly recommend!

A little disappointed. Came here for my brothers birthday. We were put in a private room which we thought was OK, but the waiter seemed to really struggle. If you have a group of 10 people in a separate room, they should have a dedicated server! Couldn't get the waiters attention at all. Took ages for drinks to come out. My steak was cooked perfectly on one side but the other side was blue. No one came to check to see if it was OK. Crispy onions were tasty but cold. Took 20 mins to get the bill, and then had to complain when actually trying to pay it. We had to go in search of someone to take our money! Overall, just not good enough. Such a shame as I've always really enjoyed it here before. As an ex M&B manager, I know that they can do better! Such a shame that the management considers this an appropriate response. A birthday meal for 10 people was not a great experience and you seem to think that we should be understanding that you haven't put on enough staff. Seems like a management issue to me. It's not like you were unaware of our booking. Have a good day.

Amazing service, Lovely food Great atmosphere Staff were really attentive. We were there as a family of 6 celebrating daughters 8th birthday. Kids loved it, and we loved it. Definitely family friendly. They had colouring for the kids whilst we waited and brought out a lovely desert with a number 8 candle singing happy birthday. It has literally made my daughters day.!

A great experience, great food and service via Nicole was 10/10!

Have visited this Miller & Carter several times as it is local and convenient to me. Compared to my experience at the Ruislip location yesterday, (see long wait review) , this is a great place to eat. My main complaint in respect of this Miller &Carter and all the branches is the fact that they do not have a diet no sugar lemonade available on their menu. My wife can’t drink cola drinks and chooses either 7 Up Zero or Sprite Zero as her preferred choice. However, despite the move to healthier food and drink it is surprising and disappointing that the Miller & Carter group doesn’t stock these products. In these circumstances my wife has resorted to taking her own drink and justifying it by telling the sever that if you don’t sell this option I have brought my drink from home. Hopefully, the buyers at Miller & Carter or the Mitchells & Butlers head office will take note of this complaint and rectify the issue.

The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Service was good, food was excellent, food choice was good. All in all a perfect meal. We will definitely be back soon.

Complete and utter disaster. Booked the restaurant 2 days earlier via a phone call. Arrived to find the restaurant closed due to unforseen circumstances according to a note on the front door. Fine, these things happen, but why wasn't I informed so that I could have made an alternative arrangement ? One of my party had travelled from Oxford to take me out for a celebration meal ! Sorry but not happy at all :(

The food was tasty and my wife loved the lamb. The service was prompt and with a smile. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun with lots of smiling faces.

A straight forward steakhouse. Good quality meat. Lovely crispy chips. Good selection of wines by the glass.Avoid the chocolate orange 🍊 bomb.
