Kentagon Bar & Restaurant in Sevenoaks

Breakfast bacon & mushroom baguette. Bacon and mushrooms both over cooked and cold. Bacon was hard. Bread felt stale &difficult to eat. Only positive was the size. Poor value at £5.50. Expensive but tasty cappuccino, cup only just over half full. Again, poor value. Won’t be back tomorrow morning.

I have been to the Kentagon for breakfast (once) lunch four times over the past six weeks. Of course it is a canteen and has very little atmosphere etc... However, I was very surprised by the quality of the food. The breakfasts looked delicious with lovely ingredients; no quality or quantity issues here. If we had a take-out lunch the baguettes were tasty and packed with filling - I really recommend the tuna mayo and cucumber. The chips are proper fish and chip shop style and lovely. The other choices such as chicken and mushroom pie, and pasta were prepared with fresh ingredients and incredibly tasty. The staff were very nice too. I would definitely come here again.

The old lady who runs the resteraunt is very mean and controlling. I offered some advice about washing up dishes and she got really mad, then one of her 15 year old cheap labour employees swore at me when I asked him to speed up (she liked him). At the end of a hard day's work for low pay she told me I was a terrible kp and should find a new job (probably because I was working for there from an agency so I was disposable). I'm sure they do great food tho 👍

Carol and her team were excellent. Kentagon really prettily decorated. tables looked very festive. Lovely prawn cocktail to start and hot and delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings. All served by the lovely waitresses who couldn't do enough to help. Crackers and after eights all made for a wonderful evening. I only went to see Neil Hodgson but the food and service made it very special indeed. Thank you to all involved.

I'm a frequent visitor of races all over Europe. The Kentagon is kindda famous for atmosphere, good, food there is room for improvement, drinks are okay

Well i wadnt expecting such a treat. Most of this type of eateries have all ways round. Not this one the food was tasty hot and palatable and here's the rub not that expensive i paid £9 for a full cooked home made chicken and leek pie with all the trimmings. Second day a lamb dinner. The staff were really accomodating. Would recommend you visit when thinking about food here at Brands Hatch. Well done everyone.

We always have breakfast here when attending a race meeting. The full-English looks to be cooked beautifully, particularly in view of the fact that they are so busy. Not being big eaters, we always go for a sausage baguette between the two of us.

Stayed in the Mercure hotel at the gates of Brands Hatch and walked up to the Kentagon,The staff were helpful and sensitive to why we were there,the spread they put on was amazing,plenty of choice and all tasty and good quality making a bad day just a tad nicer thank you to all the staff

I really can recommend the Kentagon for breakfast which is all it should be - hot, fresh, tasty and plentiful at a reasonable price for an on track restaurant. Lunches are, unfortunately, not so good. Bland taste having been overcooked I suggest and that suffer from being left till sereved.

We were staying on the Brands Hatch circuit for three nights over the whole August bank holiday period in 2016 so we made many visits to the Kentagon. We were in there early for their fabulous cooked breakfasts, during the day for great lunches and late in the evening socialising. The atmosphere at all times in the Kentagon is great; it's so lively and bustling. The staff are really very good and efficient. The food is great. Highly recommended!

Nothing unusual on the menu, (not a complaint). Quality was good as was the service, price was the usual overcharge for this kind of place which is always expected. Have always liked the building :)

Wanted a drink and a snack. Asked member of staff if any sandwiches were available (plenty of bread could be seen behind the counter). A sharp “No” was response and no further information. (Female member of staff). Ordered a dish of chips, shouldn’t have bothered, they were greasy and tasteless and not worth £2.50. As with all eateries in such venues, there is a captive market and some businesses just don’t really care as long as they get the money in the till. Shame on you Brands.

I wouldn't eat here for a wedding anniversary but when camping for a weekend of motor racing it was perfectly acceptable. The bar prices were reasonable, no more than a high street bar. Great tacky disco on the Saturday night which helped create a good atmosphere. Gets busy with marshalls having a pint when the racing finishes, so avoid that time if you want a seat. And don't begrudge the marshalls a pint, there'd be no racing without them!!

Had a good breakfast here, well organised and good food, returned later in the day for a beer and snack well the little one had a play in the park.

Great food reasonably priced and very friendly staff, considering that it is on a race circuit I would have expected it to be more expensive!

Always a great selection of fresh stuff, reasonably priced and HUGE PORTIONS. Think its open most days too ? Friendly staff .

We always eat here whenever at race meetings at Brands Hatch. Both food and service always excellent.

This is a great place to after a days motor sport good food and great atmosphere and good to shelter them it rains and watch all the action on two large tv screens

Freshly cooked, tasty food and at a very reasonable price. Lovely friendly staff. Clean and pleasant surroundings with excellent toilets. What's not to like? Recommended.

Been to The Kentagon a few times this year as I have been a trader at a few events at Brands. Compared to many similar facilities at other major event locations, The Kentagon stands out for reasonable prices, good standard of food, cleanliness and attitude of the staff. Have advised a few people to go there when they're at Brands rather than some of the other food concessions. Sunday lunch there is as good as some of the best in local pubs, AND .... at comparable prices.

Roast chicken and steak, ale and mushroom pie were both really good, piping hot and good portions. Some nice touches - stuffing in a Yorkshire pudding with the chicken. Good value too. Friendly and helpful staff.

Visited the Kentagon Bar & restaurant, whist at Brands Hatch to see the opening round of the Btcc. We had the Pitstopper Breakfast, which includes Bacon, Sausage, Egg scrambled or fried, Baked beans, Mushrooms, Hash brown, Toast and a Hot drink or a glass of Orange juice, and all for £8.00. What a fantastic breakfast to start the day.
