Slow service and food was actually vile, the chicken tacos tasted of banana, order my son and adult burger and chips which came with about 10 chips and no onion rings, halloumi fries must if been cooked about a week ago. Staff quite unfriendly. One person dining behind us must if worked there as she kept going behind the bar ti help herself to drink and would then shout and sweat back to her table.

Amazing pub! Dog friendly and super kind staff (shoutout to Kieran!!). Best place for a nice pint and atmosphere. Nachos are phenomenal.

I have given 1 Star not option for 0 stars. I came the other evening and could not believe how disgusting the ladies toilets were. No water to wash hands HEATH & SAFETY, the doors are all smashed in, toilet paper all over the floor no staff member went in to check and clean, the dirtiest toilets i have ever seen in a pub that does food. Im glad I didnt order food if that is what the toilets look like.

I came with my bestest friends and we had a BLASTTTTT. Kieron is the MVP and was an amazing host. he took care of us and i personally believe that he should have run the whole pub. Will visit again

Didn't eat and walked out after being stared at by the person serving. He looked like a member of management but his face was like a hung over adolescent that couldn't be bothered. It was uncomfortable as I had a rubbish start to the day. I arrived at the bar and discovered that I needed to transfer cash from different accounts. But my phone was dead and I needed to sign into the WIFI also. I went to my car to get a lead to plug in, then log into WIFI and then transfer money. This man was standing staring at me as if he couldn't serve another until I paid but I hadn't ordered. But he stood watching. I went and transferred cash to the card I had with me. Entered the bar again, ordered a pint if larger and asked if I could taste a small amount of the draught cider as no two places seem to have the same. So many brands and one in particular makes me nauseous. He said he wasn't allowed to do that, like I was trying to get a freebie!!? I said "If I order a pint and I don't like it will you change it"?? Big NO!! I explained there is one that isn't very fizzy. He replied that nothing on tap was still. All fully carbonated. Which was silly as I was a DPS since 1995. I knew he was being rude and I turned and walked out. I refuse to go somewhere and feel awkward immediately when it's a hospitality service. And then be looked at like I'm gonna rob the place and then accept this behaviour by paying for it. What's happening now!? Most pubs are run by worn out managers and because, the lucky few can sometimes be the only pub in the area and if people complain. It's worse for them and the nearest pub is miles. So the service gets worse and then followed by the unsavoury people and behaviours that get produced due to lack of respect/standards/care that is suppose to come from a service you hand money over to. It's disgusting and wrong on so many levels. Walked out and went to the nearest one. Thanks for adding to the stressful day. You should work out the back somewhere out of site. I truly hope that this isn't the manager and example for others.

We came for mother's day meal. Something we wanted to do since moving to Milton Keynes recently.the staff were lovely and accommodating but unfortunately I could not praise it anymore. We had to wait 30 minutes for food which when arrived it was cold. We spoke to the manager I believe and they rectified it and gave us a our new order which was hot. However our daughter pizza (which I believe was a Chicago town pizza) was cold again for the second time and had to be sent back. The manager did offer us some chicken nuggets as a replacement. When we finished we ordered desert. Big mistake. This was another 30 minutes wait just for that. Overall we waited for over an 1 hour just for food despite it being empty. At no point did the manager offer discounts for the inconvenience. Sadly we have made the decision not to return again.

party of about 20 people today, we had the whole bottom area to ourselves. everyone's food was great & everyone enjoyed themselves.. staff all friendly would definitely recommend for a nice pub lunch.

I have lived I. Great Holm for 26 years and it’s lovely to go into a local pub where the stafff are attentive and friendly the two jades are awesome and nothing is too much trouble. Great pub food, good prices and lives sports plus a pool table and darts board means they have covered all bases. Well done team Kensington!!! 👍

Monday night so relatively quiet. Food was alright. Moretti was not great looking & tasted a bit tinny. There was no veil. Staff were friendly but it was cold. Temperature outside was 3°C felt like -4 & heat wasn’t on.

Went for a meal here yesterday I had my husband with me who has dementia. He can find eating out very overwhelming but the lady who served us showed such kindness and understanding towards him.Thank you it means such a lot and made it a lovely experience. We look forward to dining with you on Christmas day 😁 🤶 🎄

Started to go to this pub on a Saturday afternoon with the family in summer time My grandchildren love going here for lunch. Jamie and kieron make a good team and service is always excellent and friendly. Well done Team Kensington. Keep up the good work.

Me and my friends originally went to a different pub, they had no food and no atmosphere in the place so we decided to ditch that place and come to the Kensington, the best decision we made! Full menu, great service and very relaxed atmosphere, all of our meals came out perfectly and everyone that served us were lovely, friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

We took advantage of the Two Mains for just £13.99 today—talk about a bargain! I went for the Katsu curry, and let me tell you, it was a winner! The fragrant rice and well cooked crispy chicken packed a tremendous kick, rivaling even that of the High Street Wagamama, and all at a fraction of the price! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DISH! Oh, and if you're a sports fan, you’ll love the many TVs around for catching the big games. The pub is also beautifully decorated for Christmas, adding to the cozy atmosphere. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available, making it easy to get there. Overall, the Kensington Pub provides a joyous dining experience that I can’t recommend highly enough! One of the best katsu curry’s I’ve had better than Wagamama ! And was in the two mains from £13.99. Excellent deal and brilliant service from the staff at Kensington pub. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Milton Keynes.

We had a fantastic evening at the Kensington last tonight. The food was incredibly tasty, particularly the smoked salmon, and bacon and cheese burger, and the service was outstanding. Our waiter and bartender, Becky, was exceptionally attentive and provided excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was ideal for a laid-back night out. Thank you, Becky; we will definitely return. The Kensington is in a great location and features a solid menu! Took advantage of the burger and pint for £10 and it certainly delivered! Make sure you ask for burger of the month!

Popped in twice for coffee while grandson at after school club.....hmmmm, Greene King so I'll be back for food. (Hope it's as good as The Ascott in Pinner!)

I came for a kebab at the stall next door, but there was no meat on the grill yet. I entered this place and I don't regret it. The food is very good, perfect with beer, which is also served. A large selection of dishes and drinks. Lots of space inside and outside. Even though my friend ran out of peppers, the staff came and suggested a substitute in the form of grilled, spicy tomatoes. I sincerely recommend it

My family & I use the Kensington often. We find the staff friendly, knowledgeable & all the staff have a “can do” attitude. We love the Friday night karaoke & regular theme nights to! We recommend this venue 100%

Couldn't say it was good, staff randomly shouting over to the drinkers who sat near the bar making the people who eat feel uneasy as it always sounded like something would kick off. Staff don't really controll any of their own behaviour and think they're a customer rather than an actual employee who should be providing a high quality service. Food was mediocre, was slightly burnt. Unfortunately the staff don't run the place it's the customers. A location that should be a family place is completely the opposite where you don't know if a fight will break out. Unprofessional that staff would be going out smoking with the customers.

Nice local boozer with polite and friendly staff. Parking gets busy during school times (next door) so you might struggle to park during that time. Gets packed out on a Saturday night.

Husband and I were in on Saturday (3/2/24) just by mistake we found this hidden gem. Had a few drinks while watching the football game, didn't order food, but definitely will next time. The bartender ( Penny I believe), she kept the drinks flowing while accommodating so many. Great place, will definitely return.

Visited this pub a couple of weeks ago for the first time in a while. I was very impressed with the customer service, we got served by a young lady called Becky. Best customer service I’ve received, very attentive and friendly, also great knowledge on the range of drinks offered. Exceeded my expectations!

Lovely staff and delicious food!

Really disappointing how this pub is now run! Used to be such a good pub, always nice food, friendly staff & a great atmosphere. Had so many fun nights here with all the regulars, 1 being my grandad. When the pub received a refurb, my grandad was the 1 to cut the ribbon! Now, you have to wait for an hour if not more for food (even when the pub is nearly empty) staff changes constantly & the place has lost that family feel. Really sad to be honest.

Starter and main very accurate I could eat it everyday if it was possible. Customer service very friendly. I regret for forgetting to give them a tip, so I’ll have to double it on my next visit. I’ll certainly be coming here once a month from now on.
