My girlfriend & I have been regularly ordering food from Kemptown Cuisine for several years & I can honestly say that it's the best indian food we've had anywhere... We occasionally try other indian restaurants, but the food never seems to taste as nice. We always get it delivered (we are very local) & it's always hot on arrival & the portion sizes are perfect. The butter chicken is very saucy, but with plenty of chicken. Chicken Pakora have a lovely taste. Brinjal Bhaji (aubergine) is my favourite dish. Peshwari Naan is delicious! Even the egg-fried rice is always nice & tasty. Highly Recommended.

Been coming here for ages and the food is so so tasty. And the prices are great. I don’t know how the Google ratings aren’t higher! Highly recommend

I’m glad I found this place, have been eating here for awhile and I’m really impressed about my vegetable rice today. It taste just as I want it. They have good customer care and they always show concern.

As soon as we walked in the man was very unwelcoming. He could learn to smile. Very rude as if we had disturbed his night!! Food was ok but not brilliant.

Good portions for the price the two curries in the picture are side portions, also got given a free popadom and toppings for the poppadom. Unfortunately I had to throw away my chickpea masala it was about 50% oil and I just couldn't eat it. However the bombay potatos were delicious, still a bit oily, and also the naan was good and everything arrived quickly and still nice and warm.

Very friendly staff and yummy food! We always come in before practice at 17B and get a buffet in a box to take away! For only 6.99! Filling and delicious. :) highly recommend

Take out was generally good. KC special curry was a little sweet but decent size portion and value for money. Briyani was nice and not too salty. Naan bread was nice and fluffy. Staff are friendly.

I had always hated curry, I’d feel disappointed when my mother or father would say it’s curry night. Hating everything on my plate, however one night, for whatever reason, my parents told me it’s a different place today. I was disappointed but couldn’t do anything about it, when it arrived I heard my father mention the weight of the bag being more than expected, which made things worse. The table was set and the dishes spread out in a platter. The first thing was the smell, from in my bedroom I could smell a brilliant concoction of spices and meats, then when I saw the platter I actaully felt excited to try it, my mother already started dishing out the rice and the onion bhaji I can not explain the shock and joy when I first took a bite, the taste was the best curry ice ever had, it just went up hill from there, every portion of rice and meat and other plates I’d never even consider touching in the past. I actually liked curry for the first time in my life. I never ever write reviews but I have to write one just because of how it LITERALLY changed my views on curry, DO NOT READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, I have not found a single one I agree with. If this is your Local Indian Cuisine place you should buy from here. If this is not your Local Indian Cuisine place, DEFINITELY BUY FROM HERE. 10/10 will definitely go again and I hope I will soon. TRY EVERYTHING

I enjoy getting dinner here after long shifts at work. Really tasty nice food. And they make it less spicy for me. I have tried 3 chicken dishes and one lamb and all were great. With good size portions and onion salad.

goan chicken curry was too sweet to be of indian flavours 👎🏻utter waste of money.

Editing down to one star. Not because of the food. But for the fact they have spammed my mobile 2-3 times a week for 7 months since I ordered from them. Despite asking them to stop they have continued. Have reported them to the ICO, it only takes 2 mins. If you're having the same issue do the same. Food was nice. Service was slow. Cannot rate atmosphere as it's a counter above a basement kitchen set up for take away only. As I said though. Food was good.

Thick sauce, spicy, plenty of chicken. Deserves five stars from me. Very good value for money!

This is the worst curry I’ve ever had the chicken arrived pink and not cooked had to cook it myself in air fryer .

Just had a chicken madras 5 tiny bits of chicken and the curry was just curry water no substance to it at all never never go here again the rice was nice

Quite a nice curry (chicken tikka massala and dupiaza) but very runny sauce on both. The plate, when served was awash with a watery sauce under the rice and quite expensive. Probably won't go there again.

Great food + service + value. Delicious vegan curries - veg masala, mushroom curry. Very generous portions - some me curries come with rice or naan or added on for £3. We spent £25 - two curries, popadoms and chutney, sagaloo, rice naan. Lovely people running it - upgraded us to large sagaloo so friends could try and gave us free can of drink while we waited. *they also deliver locally over £12 so dont bother with justeat or deliveroo just ring em up!

Petite entreprise familiale. Très bons plats. Couple agréable qui fait de son mieux pour les clients. Il y a eu un peu de temps de préparation alors il nous a offert quelque chose. Je recommande, c'était très bon

Was Kemptown Tandoori...still is effectively. AWFUL food... Dansak was inedibly sweet - binned Free veg curry - binned May as well have set light to £20....
