Keen’s Kitchen in Gloucester

I order food weekly and food is great. The young blond girl is absolutely lovely. Tonight and I was walking all the way to Hardwicke so I kindly asked for a bag to make it easier to carry since I already had other bags in my hand too. The lady with lash extensions rudely told me that they don’t have any carrier bags and I didn’t make an issue, turned my back to close the door and the blond girl had a bag in her hand but the other lady was telling her not to give it to me? It’s really odd, I really struggled carrying them. It’s sad to visit regularly and ask for a bag that I would happily pay for but get an attitude instead.

I go to Ruddy's regularly and can't say I've ever had a bad order or service here. Staff are always friendly and can chat with them. Fish / meat is cooked to order, so always fresh and servings are plentiful. No more expensive than any other chip shop nowadays. In fact, definitely cheaper and better quality and portions than the one in Brockworth. Love the meal deals, great value for money and like to get a giant cod or haddock, it's like a whale!

Very teasty burgers Lovely Nice sauces. We tried Chipotle Mayo sauce as well. Ice coffee was nice . Price is good as well 👌

Clear hygiene issues when looking inside the shop. Behind the counter is even worse… I went in with some friends not long after they had opened to see a half used doner meat being warmed up from frozen. I dread to think how often this is frozen and unfrozen. Chicken is awful quality but the chips are just about manageable, thankfully. Guy who works there is nice but clearly doesn’t care for his work environment at all.
