Very tasty food, lamb or chicken doner, my favorite is lamb shank. Staff is very welcoming, and home made bread is irresistible Strongly Recommended

Nice quick bite to eat, nothing special have eaten in better place and have eaten in worst. All in all worth a try average price for our meals.Located on the main high street in Cricklewood

I ordered from this restaurant from Deliveroo and was absolutely disappointment. I ordered £30 worth of food and this included a lamb doner kebab and a lamb shish kebab, halloumi and a chicken burger and chips. The lamb donner was grey, it was undercooked and GREY. The shish kebab was dry and you couldn’t chew through it even if you had knives for teeth. The halloumi was rubbery in texture and the chips tasted cold and reheated. It was as if it was old chips that was just microwaved. The burger was disgusting and dry and an old frozen chicken patty. Not to mention for the price point the portions were ridiculous literally four pieces of burnt meat for the shish kebab. That’s it!!! It was terrible. Never order from this place. On top of that Deliveroo suspended my account for complaining four times in a row for terrible food each time! Horrible night and waste of money.

I came here in a recommendation from a colleague whilst staying in the area. The special kebab 49 was excellent, well cooked and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend, the first time I’ve had a decent kebab outside my home town.

Una sorpresa! Cibo ottimo e abbondante, personale gentilissimo. Abbiamo preso il menù degustazione che comprendeva tre antipasti, una selezione di carni cotte alla griglia, contorni vari (come insalata, riso, patate), due assaggi di dolce, bevande e per finire un te, rigorosamente Turco.... il tutto per nemmeno 40£ in tre persone!

I'm vegetarian and go here with business colleagues on a fairly regular basis every once in a while. All of us enjoy the food,the cleanliness and service. For me the additional bonus is that they do a good vegetarian selection including halloumi wrap.

If there is one thing that should be culled from culinary world it’s deconstructed meals. I did not pay £7.50 to assemble my own kebab, if I can even call it a kebab. In Turkey, the meat, salad, and sauce of your choice is lovingly wrapped in toasted yufka. I have no idea what monstrous bread I was given but it was not meant for kebabs, it was flimsy, too doughy, soft, and half the size of my dinner plate!! It was stupidly large, there wasn’t enough food to use up half of that bread. I also didn’t pay £7.50 for FIVE measly pieces of chicken and a tiny side salad, and £2 for a small box of soggy, plain fries?? Please save your time and money, below average food and TINY portions.

Me and a couple of friends popped in here for something to take away. I really don’t know why they did this but they ignored us and served people coming in after us. Then one of them served my friend but ignored me and the other person so they could serve new people coming in. This is such a shame as the food was really nice, it was during the day, we weren’t drunk or anything so I can’t see why we were being ignored.

Ive just eaten THE best turkish food I've ever tried. I work all over the country and eat out a lot. Trust me people do not miss out on eating here, you will regret it

After the new management this place has improved big time. Beautiful selection of Middle-eastern food freshly cooked. Staff are polite and respectful. They do everything they can to cater for all your meal needs. Very well decorated too. Just be careful about the parking restrictions in the area as some side roads restrictions differ.

Highly recommend this restaurant, food is delicious, big portions, very reasonable priced, clean and staff very welcoming, will definitely be back.

If your in the area please make sure to visit this restaurant. I've been to quite a few turkish restaurants in North London and this one definitely ranks as one of my favourites if not my most favourite. I can not fault the food or service and the decor is beautiful. For the quality of food and service you get the prices are very reasonable. I will be back here very soon.

Das Personal ist wahnsinnig freundlich, der Dönerteller schmeckte hervorragend, waren zweimal dort. Man bekommt zum Essen ein frisches Brot das köstlich schmeckt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Delicious food and very clean place too.First time we decided to get some food at 49 was just because is near my place but as soon we tried the food we realized that we will be back pretty often.We love the staff too they make as feel very welcome.Great job guys 👏🏼

eravamo in 3, in zona nel periodo natalizio, stavamo cercando un posticino per pranzo, e abbiamo osato... All'entrata il locale si è presentato non molto grande, ma riscaldato giusto, ben arredato, con luce giusta, accolti da personale molt cordiale che ci ha fatto scegliere il tavolo...menù ben leggibili, chiari nei prezzi. Si è optato per il menù famiglia, sufficente per 2-3 persone: abbiamo gettato la forchetta a metà pasto per il quantitativo. La carne, agnello e pollo e montone, ottima, cotta in diversi modi, accompagnata da verdure cotte e crude, hummus di ceci, riso, cous cous. ci è stato fatto il box per portare via la carne e la focaccia rimasta.

Me visita Kebab 49 a 3 a 4 veces por año para conseguir una fiesta familiar para compartir con llevar mis padres ancianos y lo que los miembros de la familia pasan a visitar ese día. El servicio es rápido y amable y las porciones generosas. Había seis de nosotros y casi no había una chatarra izquierda cuando terminen. Es siempre muy buena y no me sorprende que está tan ocupado.

These guys prepare the best chicken shish in town. I recommend eating in, the dish is a bit different when you take out. I’ve been a loyal customer for 4 years now. Not a fancy place.

Went there with the family. We knew their doner was good, but were pleasantly surprised with the grilled ribs, especially when marinated with their lightly spicy mix.

Estaba trabajando tarde, así que me perdí los restaurantes y tenía una elección entre Kebab 49 y cerca de McDonald's. Optamos por el arriesgado uno y pedí un cordero Kebab. La comida era fantástica y bien presentado a un costo razonable.

In my recent trip to London, I was staying with a friend at Cricklewood that is home to a lot of diners and restaurants. I love Middle Eastern-type cuisine so eating here was a no brainer.I can say though that I enjoyed the food so much that I came back a second and a third time.First off, the staff is friendly. They thought it was my first time and they offered me choices and suggestions. Even if I love the cuisine, I loved the salesmanship. That gets me plus points every time.It was around 8pm and the place was packed. There was a line of about six people with a few others ordering for take away. That said something about the food that it was good.They've got quite a variety with the average price around five-plus quid. But the servings are generous! Ordered Chicken Kebabs and absolutely loved it.Came back the next few days ordering different fare. Kebab 49 is an out of the way resto since it is in the suburbs of London but if you're in the Cricklewood area (there are a number of buses that pass here on their way to Oxford Street), check this one out. It's worth it.

We went there for take away ,the food quality was poor and the quantity.no taste at all they mixed the salad with the chillies and garlic sauce .we couldn't eat any .i heard about this restaurant that it's good but we all were disappointed.never again

经过觉得很香就进来了。点了一份鸡翅，一个汉堡。鸡翅现烤很好吃，虽然有一点点焦。汉堡也不错。他们送的餐前面包特别香，有种肉香在里面，蘸上那个辣得不能行的酱，别有一番风味

We ate here one night, as we were staying at the Clayton Crown over the road, so we decided to give this a try, and we were certainly not disappointed with the food, service and cleanliness.

This really is something special, you could walk past here but do so and you miss out.The food here is fresh and the staff are so friendly. This restaurant was across from our Hotel(which was very nice), only a few tables, but we were taking food back to our rooms. They were very nice, plate of food was plentiful and it was a very good priced. Taste was excellent, we would go back to this restaurant. We ate there 2 nights.

The food here is fresh and healthy, and served by super friendly staff. I had the small chicken kebab with salad and hummus with homemade Turkish bread. It was all delicious, well - spiced and cost under 7 quid in all! A must try if you're in the area.

We were staying at the hotel and wanted a quick bite after spending the day in London. We had chicken kebab meat and fresh salad with lovely flat bread and a spicy dip. It was all tasty and fresh served by friendly staff.

Absolutely love this place, the food is exceptional, staff are lovely, place is clean, good value too.Whoever said kebabs are greasy and unhealthy hasn't eaten here. The Kofta and Shish are superb, especially with a Lahamucin, the complimentary bread and That chilli sauce is incredible, pretty much worth it for those in all honesty. Wifey and I go after every visit to the gym. Top stuff.

This is more than just another Kebab shop, With great Authentic Turkish food made on site using very good quality ingredents. The food is fresh tasty, well made and really very authentic. The shop is clean bright and open late, you can eat in or take away. The meat used really is one of the best I have had for this kind of place. The staff are friendly and pleasent. The price is also very fair and you get good size portions so great qyality and value for money.Great for a late night stop for sure whould recommend.

My boyfriend and I visited this kebab shop after a night out as we were staying in the Crown Moran over the road. We ordered chicken kebabs which were delightful, lovely fresh ingredients!Whilst waiting to be served we were fascinated with all of the interesting Turkish plates and brass ornaments in the sit down eating area. Staff were lovely and spoke about some of the ornaments.The following day my boyfriend realised that he had left his expensive guitar either on the bus or in the kebab shop. We were delighted when the staff handed back his guitar they had placed it inside for safekeeping. Thank you to the honest and helpful staff!! :)

Cricklewood is known for its builders' merchants and electrical wholesaler, but not for quality food. But Kebab 49 is the exception. It has a full eat in & take away menu based on freshly cooked Halal meats on a charcoal grill. I always have a very generously large lamb shish kebab with side salad. It comes with rice or their own delicious home made flat bread, all for £6.20. Open 7 days a week from 11.30 am - 2am+
