Delivery times have been slipping recently but food is good.

I’m so angry waiting for the food. I ordered at 7.30 and the order arrived at 9.10pm. Its not acceptable and no explanation. 1 hr 40….what a total joke

Rice: good. Naan: good. Mushroom bhaji: good. My companion enjoyed his biryani. My Chicken Pathia was disappointing though, as it just tasted 'tomatoey', lacking the distinctive sweet and sour flavour of a good pathia. It wasn't terrible, but it was just missing something.

We love the food in this restaurant, the flavors reminds us of India and the staff us very friendly. Prices are also pretty good for the quality you get

Had really high hopes for this place based on their great reviews! However, our experience was a mixed bag. Started off with fresh papadums. Our mixed starter was delightful as were the samosas! For main their lamb shank is so tender and juicy. However, our lamb biriyani was incredibly tough and the rice didn’t seem fresh. The chicken in the korma was rubbery and bland. The keema naan barely had any filling. Since most of the main fell short, we left feeling disappointed. Also, we found the lights to be quite white and bright which made the environment quite sterile.

I honestly found the best place to have Indian/Nepalese takeaways. After so many drama to find a good Indian food around Bromley, this is outstanding! The chicken and lamb is tender, flavourful and just hit the spot for confort food. KUDOS GUYS!!!

Finally after few months of searching I have found an amazing Indian restaurant in the area. Having Nepalese friends I know a good curry and what can I say, Kathmandu Masala's veggie curry is probably the best I have ever had! Just wow. Smooth and friendly service too. I also noticed we were given a new rice box when asking to take the food leftovers home. Superstars!! I will be returning very soon

Had a takeaway, my food was delicious, ordered way too much but was class the next day, I had both the garlic chilli chicken and a green curry that I can't remember the name of but had mint, coriander and green chillies which could've been spicier but was amazing, the mrs had a paneer dish with Bombay aloo and saag paneer which she said was lovely, this has become our regular and can recommend highly over other local places.

Usually the food from Kathmandu is exceptional, however this time I was quite disappointed. The Tandoori Chicken was really dry, as if it was cooked the day before and just heated up in a microwave, and the lamb Sekuwa was chewy and tasteless. I ended up leaving most. The king prawn puri was tasty at least.

Can't comment on atmosphere as I was only collecting a takeaway. However, the food was very good indeed and was ready in exactly the time I was quoted. Friendly and helpful staff.

A good little curry house in Beckenham. Service was good. Pricing ok, maybe a touch expensive. In terms of food, quite good, a little on the spicy side for me personally (even mild dishes). Good starter selection & Bombay Aloo

Great Service as always, as the weather is warmer switching to Tapas style dishes from the starters menu is a great way to have a lighter meal with the salads 👍🏽

Spent £70 on a curry and really disappointed. One of the mains was wrong- The tikka masala was not tikka Masala was more a chicken curry! One of the other mains had these weird holes in the chicken which were really hard and chewy. Really put us off our meal. Naans we’re cold. Had a lovely meal at the restaurant a few weeks back so thought we’d get a take away but we won’t be again.

Maybe bigger or more samos is the plan next time! Good stuff though. Easily two meals worth. :)

Great Food & Great Service from Kathmandu 😀 I’d forgotten what it was like to have a Sag Aloo side and I’m glad I went for this instead of rice 👍🏽 My only disappointment is the Naan’s which get a little soggy in the bags and taste much better in the restaurant rather than delivered (perhaps in Foil with an air vent might be better)

What an absolute gem this place is. The service is absolutely perfect, friendly and attentive but not over the top. The food is really great, and such fantastic value. Very happy we tried this place and we'll definitely be back, great traditional curry house!

Wow - Kathmandu Masala is so so good! Really friendly and professional service and exceptional value for money in a charming dining room. We had such wonderful food - we enjoyed Camparis, pappadams and sundries, onion bhajis, beautiful curries, rice and naan. Including service this came to just £30 each. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return - really superb.

Unfortunately it took two hours for this to be delivered and the driver didn’t apologise or acknowledge that when handing over the food. We rang the restaurant about 15 mins after the food was due, to be told another 20 mins but all in all it took 2 hours. The food itself was cold as a result which is a such a shame as it’s really tasty usually!

Really disappointed given the reviews on here. Sugar in everything - even the raita. Chicken tasted like perfume weirdly. Really bland. Only decent thing that tasted of anything was the lime pickle.

I used to be a regular customer of this restaurant but have recently developed some allergies. If you have any dietary requirements this is not the restaurant for you! God forbid if you have a nut allergy or want to ask if they have any gluten free dishes, they do not want to know! Their customer services was not great and they didn’t seem to have any interest or care in listening to any allergies which you may have to accommodate your requirements. If they cannot accommodate your requirements that’s fair enough, but there is a way in which you convey this message to your customers! We came on a family night out and it didn't disappoint. My curry was the best veggie curry I've ever had... Ever!! Not greasy and full of flavour. Meat dishes I was told were spot on as well. Good sized portions and quick service... What's not to like! Will be back next time I'm in Beckenham for sure :)

The dishes are very flavoursome, the nan breads thin and fluffy and the service always excellent. Have been dining in and ordering from here for many years now and this is the best Indian restaurant in the area without a doubt. The menu is extensive and the food always prepared to a high standard. Highly recommended.

Tasty curry and not too greasy (very rare for Indian takeaways) and they give you multiple poppadoms. Food came early and the tracking wasn’t updated was the only annoyance.

Literally the worst curry I’ve had in my 38 years on planet earth. The picture attached shows the cold disgusting slop that you’d send back at half time at Selhurst park. Pretty sure the ‘chef’ put oregano in the ‘chicken tikka masala”. Do NOT give these clowns a penny of your hard earned money. My 5 year old niece had more culinary expertise.

I came to see my friend and he told me Katmandu Masala and the food is too die for, one of best curry houses, if not the best i've ever been to. Secondly, Maddy is really responsive and receptive to any questions or queries about the food and the whole staff were incredibly friendly. Would recommend Lamb Sank along with the Gurkha beer.

I have not ordered from here in a while. I was disappointed on this occasion. We ordered poppadoms separately although you usually get a couple free. They were stale and broken. The vegetable korma style curry had no flavour. The okra was very greasy and the other curries lacked spice and flavour. Very bland. The pilau rice was nice but again very greasy . It felt As if the whole meal had been put together in a rush which was probably the case as it was delivered early.
