Absolutely disgusting- didn’t get what we ordered on Mother’s Day, got served two bowls of cream with a teaspoon of chocolate ice cream in the middle of each instead of the Chocholic paid for. Staff couldn’t care less and neither does Head Office!! Got scammed on the bill to add insult to injury - so check your receipts!! £32 down the drain!! Trading Standards here I come!!

Absolutely heartbroken spent 28 quid ofln deserts which I didn't even like because whatever I ordered wasn't on the menu also was served in a broken plate 😢 when told the waitress she said ill give u a plastic box which she did and I walked out seriously never been so embarrassed in my life and never seen such services 😢 very gutted never going bk there insha Allah.

Went here as a treat for a celebration but we were firstly met with a lot of litter on the pavement outside - bad first impression. When we entered we were greeted but staff weren’t wearing masks and neither were any of the customers. No atmosphere, very basic, dirty tables and the bench in the booth we sat in was sitting too far out from the table so we had to move tables so that we could sit comfortably. Food was very mediocre for the price - sloppy strawberries on the crepe and we expected scooped ice cream and instead we got Mr Whippy ice cream. We didn’t enjoy the food. Our visit didn’t feel like a treat at all, it felt like a waste of time and money. We won’t return.

Ordered two cookie doughs which came really quick. Tasted great but they were TINY. For £7+ each.... We would say it’s probably worth £4 at most. It was half the size of my hand

Visited two days ago and what a let down The management at this place is shocking there is no organisation in place at all. Me and three friends visited for a desert we ordered two waffles a crepe and a milkshake The waffles came well presented and tasted good however the milkshake taste awful. Was extremely watery with hardly any taste! The customer service at this place is shocking, 1 extremely rude man dressed in scruffs at the door seating customers, sat us at a dirty table we asked for him to wipe it he told us he will in a second walked away and never came back ! . All the staff look miserable and like they don’t want to be there other than one member of staff who was a polite young lady and apologised for our wait on our food. Overall Extremely disappointed

Went yesterday, wont be going again. There was only one table already in who already had their food. We ordered two desserts and two milkshakes, the first dessert came after 20 minutes which was going cold so had to start eating. Waiting another 10 minutes for the milkshakes then a further 10 minutes for the second dessert. No apologies, no explaination. The girl serving was miserable. Took the order, didnt say thank you, or enjoy. Absolutely nothing. She just threw the food down and walked off. Also it cost £25 for those few things. Shocking.

First time visiting this place and considering we went during COVID, I was shocked at the measures that had in place. The cutlery was in one plastic basket for all customers to help themselves to when really they should have been wrapped or given by staff members. I think management seriously needs to address this rather than allow customers to just put their hands in there - after all people were not sanitising. These sort of measures are inadequate. We were told to take plastic menus but these were not cleaned in-between customers. The place was not full yet staff seemed miserable. No body smiled and it was like they really didn’t want to be there. The cleanliness was appalling! There was dried ice cream on the window next to me and the tables were sticky. Dried ice cream on the chair and crumbs on the floor. It was disgusting. The actual desserts were great though and the quality of ingredients good. I don’t know if it’s just the Blackburn branch that is a serious let down with the way it’s managed but I will not be returning. It’s too unhygienic and unsafe during COVID .

Used to be great, but went last week and level of service was poor.waffles arrived and were only just warm which was very disappointing. Air conditioning was on max so making a rather uncomfortable time in the venue

Pre-corona virus Kaspas has always been for me, a reliably good dessert place. Yes, they can be a little slow but it was decent service and consistently good quality which is what we should expect considering their prices. However, they have now decided to dive down to the depths of cutting costs to the the point that their shakes have turned to being just shy of water with little flavour then making us pay more whilst having to wait even longer than normal. It is an absolute disgrace and they should be ashamed for what the management has allowed themselves to become.

Great service and great desserts. Lots of choice and even catered for lactose intolerence. BRILLIANT

Kids dessert arrived and was ok My dessert was in the microwave and forgotten about. Luckily I went back otherwise it would have got to dinner time and it still Service needs improving

Just been in with my boyfriend (26/09/19) n wouldn’t ever go back. To say how quiet there store was the whole time we was there, its so unclean. Whilst eating i asked for us to be moved with the amount of fruit flies there was around us. I can understand there can be problems with fruit flies but when tables are dirty with food still left there, it’s no wonder there is so many. They had a woman who was supposed to be working on the floor, who’s job it is to obviously clean the tables and she did anything but clean them. Again, I would also understand if they where busy or if it was just 1 dirty table, but they wasn’t and there was several. Don’t waste your money, stick with heavenly deserts (if u haven’t been then I highly recommend), never once had a problem there and the store is one of the cleanest.. unlike kaspas.

Asked for a simple glass of water which never arrived until the fourth time I asked. The staff don't really seem to be bothered about anything

Took my little sisters here a few weeks back, the food is always delicious, and the milkshakes are amazing! Love the funky decor inside and the little booths, the only downfall is the price.

We went there at dinner time on a Saturday and it was very quiet. The food arrived at different times and was colder than I expected but was delicious. I was a bit shocked at the final bill so I won’t be becoming a regular but good for a treat. The place was clean but the lights hang quite low over the tables and my partner hit his head on one. The music was loud and had explicit lyrics in so I wouldn’t call this place family friendly.

On arrival we was asked, takeaway? When pointed to our table we had the one with a broken light bulb and asked to be moved.Not knowing or be told we waited for someone to take our order. Ooopppsss you need to order at the counter.Ok! We was surrounded by uncleared tables I counted 14 tables that needed clearing. Why? We asked for water for my two daughters and the glasses were grey from the dishwasher.Order was wrong but rectified swiftly.Staff needs further training.

Fantastic service from the staff. They catered and managed to sit all 15 of us together in one booth area. They very very patience with us and didn't mind our loudness. Taking our order was a smooth process for them and also great recommendation by staff member on the counter on some of the waffles and crepe's. We all loved the mango bubble pops. Definitely would visit again and happy to pay for the service that we were given at Kaspa's.

I was really disappointed with my first visit to this place. I love a good dessert so thought we would give it ago. On arrival the ‘greeter’ was not welcoming, she showed us to our seat and then muttered something about ordering your own food. Our table was sticky and the wall had mess smeared on it (see photos). From a far the desserts look good but on closer inspection this was not the case. There was a apple pie that looked like someone had stepped on it and another cake that looked like it had been dropped on the floor and scraped back together. The place was busy and they had decided to only put one member of staff on the till who didn’t speak great English so had to take longer to process orders, this would have been fine if it was quiet or there was 3/4 other people also serving.

Went with my wife for her Birthday on Thursday. She ordered the waffles which at £6+ I thought was a bit pricey but when I saw the size of them it could seriously be shared amongst 3 people. I had the millionaire cheesecake which was delicious and at £3.50 wasn't over priced.

Myself and a friend went to kaspas for dessert after a dinner we had somewhere else, for a saturday night it was pretty quiet so we were seated immediately. I ordered a banoffee crepe with spiced chai and my friend had a peanut butter stack. We got a nice quiet corner booth and the order was ready quite soon. It was all very nice and staff were friendly too. The only down side is that the ice cream they serve with the dessert turns into soup pretty quickly so you'd better eat it fast.

Just one back and desserts were fab in fact the whole experience was fab. We went to kaspas in Leeds a couple weeks a go and it was dreadful so didn't expect much but I was so wrong. The manager is fab and so is his team highly recommend.

This place is good for groups of kids, we ordered large and let them all dig in together! There is more than enough for sharing...

I like my mint ice cream, so decided to try mint choc chip. Hmmm to be honest it was very rich in flavour which made it tooo minty and strong.

Visited for the first time yesterday. We were shown to a table quickly, there’s lots of choice on the menu, this time we went for pancakes and waffles but there’s so much so can’t wait to go back and try more. They come with lots of filling and are big portions! The place was really clean and had a nice atmosphere. My only critique although not a negative as we worked it out easily would be for the waiters/waitresses to ask if it is a first time visiting or not and if it is to explain the ordering process.

Disappointed with the level of service, cutlery was dirty as though it had been licked and put back, staff dont have clue with the orders as we never recieved all our desserts, when i approched a member of staff regarding this he became defensive and demanded to see a receipt, he was very rude, after showing my recipte I demanded a refund. Never again!!!!

I can honestly say i dont understand the hype of Kaspas.

1st visit we thought the service was slow and staff didn’t speak when bringing food to the table or explained where to get cutlery!

Have tried Kaspas in Blackburn a few times, the desserts are usually very good quality (apart from one time I ordered cookie dough and the centre was crumbly and over-cooked). The price is just a bit too expensive for what you get; the staff are very unfriendly and clueless about what’s going on, the Manager acts like she doesn’t want to be there. The 3 times I have been I have ordered water which every single time has failed to be brought over to us and I had to go up to the counter to remind the staff about it. The water came warm - every time - in plastic cups which were Dirty. Also, we were once seated at a table that was unclean and has stains on.

I went to kaspas and one of my friends found a hair in a waffle but the woman wouldnt give us a refund.

After hearing so many great things about this place I jumped at the. Hence when friends suggested it. We got there about 7.15pm on a Friday and it was fairly quiet. By 9pm the place was packed and people were waiting to be seated. Shows how good it is but I would either go early or book a table if there’s a group of you.

My sister, nieces and I went early Saturday afternoon and just had drinks-lattes and a breakfast tea. The coffees had no taste and the tea was very weak-the waitress had no idea how to deal with our query/complaint. Just offered one small espresso between 3 drinks to ‘liven up’ the taste!!! Small thing-no spoons provided with any of the drinks. No-one came to take orders so had to assume counter service! The staff, bless them, have no idea whatsoever regarding customer relations-no welcome,no bye-byes, no thank you, see you again, enjoy the rest of your day etc!!! Very, very ‘weary’ service which resulted in an experience which was lacklustre & doesn’t encourage a return visit any time soon☹️

I went here after school on a weekday. It wasn’t so busy. I placed the order for a choc crepe and Nutella waffle. Came to around £12.

Lovely desserts so many to choose from from waffles, crepes, shakes, hot desserts and ice creams. Gr8 famiky atmosphere and for kids party... Staff are gud and help with recommendations....

Taken here by the kids, not a fan of the food myself but the kids seemed to enjoy. Bit overpriced what what it is and the place is pretty unhygienic. Coffee came out after we had all finished eating. Probably wouldn't visit again.

Like it. Usual dessert spot. Do everything from bubble shakes and teas to waffles and crepes. Nice place for families and friends. You might get a rowdy bunch of young boys come in near your table but just ask to move. Nice staff. Average price

My first and very last visit, I was nagged from my children to go here, so I agreed and we visited this afternoon.

My fella decided I needed a treat to cheat myself up after work been abit chaotic I didn’t expect to be taken here though we usually go to our local one. However this was awesome it had a bigger menu and lots of things I could of eaten. We arrived and it looked like an American diner! It was lovely decorated and the colours suited! Well thought out. I loved the place settings you could be in a big booth if there was more than two... or a small table! We waited a minute and was quickly shown to our table it took me longer than expected to choose there was so many things I wanted I could if had one of everything! Eventually I chose the Nutella waffle and added strawberries. The fella chose brownie waffle! About fifteen minutes later we were served and I was in heaven ok the waffle wasn’t as good as our local the waffle seemed more heavy but there was plently of topping and I got s good helping of Nutella.. and then I saw a small dish of what looked liked fresh cream only it was ice cream - gelato and it was lush! The best ice cream I have ever had! Then the waiter came over with two milkshakes my fella went my treat. And coffee of course! The milkshakes looked like large but they were regular... and oh my they were tasty in fact if you didn’t know it was a milkshake you would think it was food! Cherry bake well and Nutella milkshakes we tried! Definitely worth a visit! Little pricey but you don’t leave with empty stomachs our bill was just over 20.00 but I didn’t mind paying that! The food and drinks were worth it!

Yummy food and a fantastic manager. There was four adults and two children and there was a nice, friendly atmosphere, all of our orders were spot on and came promptly. Verry filling! We will be back! Thank you.

Food was ok. However staff were forgetful, and refused to give a refund after finding a hair in my food.

Service was ok right up until the moment we got our food. I ordered waffles with strawberry + nutella, I have never seen off and tissue thin strawberries like it before. Looked like they had been slices with a grater. Politely asked the waiter to change the strawberries to half decent thickness strawberries and he took our plate away, came back with the same plate and said "That will be an extra charge according to the manager".. Manager popped his head to see who was complaining before deciding on the outcome. I will never visit again.

I had the strawberry shortcake waffle and it was amazing! Can’t eat a full one. Great to share! We also got the chocolate waffle which I was told was sickly!

Based on this visit it was perfect , we have been a few times (before I started reviewing) the first time they messed up our order, they were busy.

Same concept as many other dessert places ... let the design of the building look appealing the rest just meh. Atmosphere was so dry! Maybe because it was 8pm but didnt look like it would pick up alot of school kids there so if your looking to go as a couple maybe not the place.

What a joke, the staff are rude, thick and give the impression they don’t care. Disappointed and expensive for what it is. Won’t be coming back stay clear guys.

Came with 5 friends and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by staff who seemed like they didn’t want to be here,then our food came but it wasn’t what we ordered but when we told the waitress she was very hostile and called the manager over who apparently “owned the place” but didn’t seem to know how to work his own till. He told us we were in the wrong before changing our order. Will not be coming back

Walked into Kaspas at 1:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. Wouldn't say it was too busy, there were plenty of spare tables and a reasonable queue of people waiting to order.

While in blackburn thought we would try out the dessert place because it looks really nice from outside. Went in and someone took us to the table and gave us menus but didn’t say we actually had to get up and go to the till to place the order. So we sat there for about 15 minutes and then decided to go and place order. Which was annoying because the person who took us to the table should have told us and not assumed that we know. Finally when are desserts came- Nutella strawberry waffle, peanut butter waffle and a milk chocolate cookie dough all with ice cream. Unfortunately the waffle was awful probably the worst I’ve ever had. In my opinion waffles should be light and fluffy but this was thick and chewy. The ice cream had no taste to it all. So for that reason I won’t be recommending this place to anyone and won’t be going back. They also need to improve their customer service especially if they want customers to return.

I visited here with some of my family. It’s a great place and so good to see somewhere thriving locally. The menu is pretty extensive and reasonably priced.

Went Kaspas at the weekend with the kids. The place was packed with kids & teenagers as it was the opening weekend. Had to wait a few minutes for a table and was seated pretty quickly. Very surprised with the choice of music playing in a venue frequented with kids ( Chris Brown / Privacy - Very very explicit ), notified the greeter at the entrance who was completely oblivious to the sexually explicit song blaring out. The music went totally off after 2 minutes and did not come back on.

Having never been before I was overwhelmed with the place my daughter and boyfriend took me and I certainly will be back soon ! Loved it ❣️

Arrived on a Friday evening - the place was probably around 50% full.

Place looks nice and clean. However we ordered some drinks and the milk that came with the tea was off and the staff didn't seem bothered by this much. We got some more drinks. Then our pancakes came. They were not fresh you couldn't even cut them. They seemed to be either made ahead of time however I suspect they were from the day before. I wouldn't mind but it took ages to bring the food we had ordered. The service was not great and neither was the food. Very disappointed. Will not be returning. I normally don't post picky reviews but please do not waste your time or money by going here

I can not begin to describe my visit ...slow rude staff. Took 35 mins to make a milk shake and a desert. It's not rocket science. It ruined my day . Wish I could express my real opinion on here . Absolute fu**ing s**t

I love the fact that its clean firstly. A bit annoying to have to go to the till to place your order. Other than that.. amazing is all i can say .. great desserts, well portioned, nice ambiance.. cant wait for my next cheat day

After hearing great things about Kaspa's Desserts we had to take a trip, so we travelled an hour and a half drive to Blackburn. The site was nice, very quiet. We ordered 4 waffles, 2 milkshakes and 2 waters. We waited a long time for our order to come, the food was delicious although my mum who ordered a M&M; chocolate base had a peanut base so when we sent it back the woman argued saying she was wrong and it was definitely chocolate ! Good job she wasn't allergic ! The food was beautiful, the staff just let it down. Think I'll be taking a trip to a different site next time.

Been to Cheltenham Kaspas a few times and always enjoyed it. So was delighted when I heard there was one in my home town. However after my visit I was disappointed. The Greeter was nice and friendly as he seated us. My order was taken quickly. Then the wait started. It was busy, granted. But we waited almost 30 minutes for 2 ice-creams. And although 3 or 4 of the staff seemed to be hard at it the other 3 or 4 seemed to be standing at the end of the counter chatting. The toilets were filthy. No toilet paper in the ladies. Busy yes, but 1 of the standing around chatting staff could of at least checked them? The sundaes when arrived were ok. The banana was over fresh and in a long slice rather than small slices. So every time I tried to cut a piece half of my toppings fell off the boat and onto the table. Wasn't sure if the table was clean after the dirty toilet fiasco so didn't risk eating anything that landed on it. All in all pretty poor which is a shame because Cheltenham one really is fabulous.

Visited Kaspas for the first time tonight, heard good things about the place so wanted to try it.

First time going to the Kaspas in Blackburn. The staff were lovely. The desserts were amazing. I would definitely recommend anyone to go there.

Lets make this short - Kaspas "The king of desserts", its a great joke really!! Kaspas are more like the Jesters of Desserts. They have King all over their leaflets and menus and a nice big sign indoors stating they are the kings of desserts. They are far from it.

Me and my husband got 2 to our after 1 year we walked into Kaspa stood in the cue...we were then told to get out as we would not b served or we cud not take away.absulty disgusted will never walk in their again or anyone else I know.

I didn't know what to expect when I heard about this place, but when we arrived we were shocked at how busy it was, we wanted to go in it was obviously living up to its expectations! Lovely clean place and the style of the place is amazing you don't feel like you in the middle of Blackburn at all! The apple crumble is to die for it's been my craving since getting pregnant and it was perfect so thankyou! ❤️

Went Sunday afternoon and place was empty. Server was quite rude and didn't speak good English and so got part of the order wrong. When we went to correct the error she didn't look pleased or even say sorry or anything. Food was OK at best but no better than other places. Decor looked tatty in areas already which considering it's fairly new isn't great.

Rude customer service upon arrival - even before we were seated at the table. Manager seems to be some sort of control freak who does not allow the customers any freedom of seating. Decided to walk out and go somewhere else instead.

First good looking place clean colour ful and average seating, secondly the food very good very sweet and lots of choice on the menu and prices are between average and expensive but next the staff struggle to speak English! When went over to order I had to repeat what I said several times and it really made the experience uncomfortable and when our desserts did come we didn't know what the man was saying we just had to go off what he brought not what he said and the music was uncomfortable in there aswell. So I would recommend it but only slightly for the food that's it.

Shame about the manager..they need to learn to speak to customers with respect. I wouldn't go back again to the place.

Went here at night the atmosphere and the deco is really contemporary and good but seats are uncomfortable, prices are quite high, they seat you but you have to order at the counter (whats the point, just order and then give seats), you have to get your own knives and forks from the counter at least they bring the food to your table, waited 25 mins for our desert than the waiter as he was bringing it dropped everything so had to wait longer. desert to be fair were nice.

Fancied something different on a Saturday afternoon and decided to try this place out. It was a fantastic place the bubble slushes are amazing and so is the smarties cookie dough you have to try it here you won't be disappointed 👍

Great place with plenty of seating. The desserts are great and a really swift service. You get served in minutes!

Went on a busy Friday night, met by a very friendly host who we found out was the co-owner. The fit and decor of this place is second to none, so much cleaner & tidier than it's rivals. The restaurant seats around 100 people so it had a nice atmosphere. We were told the wait to sit down was 15 minutes(ish) so we decided to take-away. Queued to order our food which was fine and waited about 10 minutes to receive our order. I had a waffle and ice cream float, my Husband had gelato- both were delicious. Kaspa's is our new go to dessert place, so long as it continues to impress!

Loved the place, lovely booth, nice and warm and reasonable prices. Basically does what it says. It would be nice to open 2 tills when there is more then one person waiting though.

The dessert shop itself is modern, clean and has bright lighting. The owners have clearly spent a lot of money on this place, it looks like an American diner, with the seating and ambiance. I had very high hopes of this place based on the looks alone.
