The staff are rude, and act as if having customers is a burden on them rather than the reason the business exists. When asked about allergens the allergen book was literally thrown at us. We stayed for food only to avoid the drama of telling a five year old they can’t have their ice cream. I will not be going back.

Terrible service along with cheap disgusting quality make this a place we will never return to. The place was dirty and the staff were rude so good luck if you are planning to go here. The ice creams tasted so artificial that we ended up throwing them in the bin I hope the company read all these negative reviews and try to better themselves.

Appalling customer service, waited ages to be seated eventhough there was plenty of space, made to feel like we were interrupting their social time. Half of the order arrived waited for at least 20 minutes for the rest of the order. When food arrived it was cold. Staff very uninterested in our complaint. Won't be bothering again

Cold food when ordering. They always send vanilla gelato instead of the flavoured ones which you pay a premium for. Crooks

We were greeted by someone who didn't speak English very well, then he tried pulling my arm to come with him to the table. Didn't like that so we walked out.

The place was empty and I should have taken this as a warning to not enter and enjoy my life elsewhere. An uninspiring greeting from a gentleman who clearly had no issues with displaying his lack of enthusiasm for his job or the place. A very clear display of someone who clearly didn’t give a crap. Once seated we were given a menu and no further instruction. Therefore I assumed, like most places…. Someone would return to take our order. After several attempts to try and find a member of staff, I soon realised that we were required to order at the till. I have no issues with ordering at the till, but would be good to have been given told. While waiting for the food and drinks I soon realised how disgusting the place was. It was filthy and staff who were doing very little, showed no desire to clean. All the food was cold, despite it stating it would be served warm. The drinks were horrendously sickening. A complete waste of time and money and I advise everyone to just avoid the place.

Terrible service in a reasonably empty setting. Rude staff, slow service and dirty plates & cutlery. We will NOT be returning.

Amazing freshly made dessert. From waffles to crapes to my favourite doughs they have all covered. Their dough really gives my sweet teeth the much needed pleasure.

Our family of seven came here to dine in the evening for my sister’s birthday and to have a good time, my husband, son and myself had never been here before and was looking forward to trying it. We all placed our orders and my sister ordered a strawberry milkshake as a birthday treat which you should get free if you spent so much money and we spent well above the amount, according to the website you can get a free slice of cake or a medium milkshake as long as you show proof of Id that’s it’s your birthday which my sister did. We all sat down and we’re all getting our desserts and milkshake at different times and my sister waited ages after we had all got our desserts so she asked the waiter if they had forgotten it, he said he’d check and came back to say it wasn’t ordered but it was on her receipt as birthday shake which she showed him to which he said no it wasn’t on there and took her receipt away. He spoke to someone behind the counter and said she shouldn’t of had it and didn’t know who had taken her order, he said he would take a milkshake off the order we had but we’d already paid? We said it wasn’t right and he said fine I’ll go and do it on the house for free but became nasty. It was a horrible atmosphere and I won’t be going back again as it was terrible customer service. My husband used the men’s toilet and said it was absolutely disgusting, there was excrement over the toilet and urine all over the toilet and floor. I wish I’d never gone.

More attention was paid on the Deliveroo orders than customers eating in, tables were not cleared, larger tables were being served their desserts before customers who had ordered first and the wait was ridiculous, the actual deserts were shockingly poor quality , poorly slopped together, sickly, brownie was rubbery and burnt, crepe was not covered in Belgium chocolate, but some nasty tasting cheap chocolate with a bowl of mr whippy on the side ? nothing was as expected. I’m still in shock . We will not be returning ever . Absolutely terrible. One member of staff was apologetic, really we should have asked for our money back, but I think “the King of desserts “ needs the money to buy quality produce and provide better service. They can keep their money and hire someone to clean and clear the tables too.

We popped into this dessert shop tonight in the hope of finding a nice dessert after the England match (one of our group is vegan). We thought having such a huge selection there would be plenty of vegan options but no - they could only offer a shake, nothing else in the shop was suitable. Very disappointing, we decided to save our time and money and walk away. If you are vegan do not bother!

I used to be such a fan of this company, however I no longer see it value for money. The waffle sizes have definatley shrunk, and if your ordering via Deliveroo it's so expensive for what it actually is...

Discussed with the way we was treated today we went in to a very rude young lady who haf no time of day or even looked like she cared to be there. Gave us menus and said sit any where. So we sat down and then went and placed our order. Again hardly a word from this girl serving us. Went back to table and waited for our food when it arrive I cut in to it and tasted a very cold waffle. I went and asked if they came warm or cold as I was unsure we got the reply warm and it's cold coz of your ice cream. I said we have only just had itbplaced on the table and the whole waffle is cold and u can tell as the ice cream that was placed in the middle has not even melted. She sent the manager (ALI) over and he was rude from the start. Telling me it was cold coz of the ice cream when the edge where no ice was even near was hard and cold he then stuck his finger right through the middle of my waffle and said its fine. At this point thag made me feel sick and he said its fine I asked for a refund after watching him do this to my food and he said no refund we don't do it you exchange or out. My son was still eating his very hot cookie dough at the point so I sat and waited he said fine I make another one I said no thank you I would luke my money back as you can't do what you did it my food and talk to me the way u did and he walked off. A few moments later he came back. I went over to the tills and he continued to have a go at me very loudly in front of other customers and made me feel like rubbish. He was so rude and didn't have a care in the world he was also very rude and verbal to my friend who waffle was also as cold as mine. I will be taking this complaint higher as he was very unprofessional and very bloody rude

It’s extremely hit and miss but I always end up craving more! They did sort out a wrong delivery instantly and refunded me straight away

Whilst the desserts here are extremely tasty (who wouldn't like waffles and ice-cream?), they are very expensive for what you get, and it really isn't worth what you pay. You could buy 10 loafs of bread for what it would cost you for 1 waffle, and when you think of that, it makes you feel like a mug. If you really fancy a waffle and ice-cream, you'd be much better going to Creams nearby, because even though this is also quite expensive, it is cheaper than here and the waffles are identical in both quality and taste.

Me and friends have been here a few times and more times that not it’s been pretty great! Waffles are really good, the ice cream and the milkshakes we’ve had. However I’ve never really had a too friendly encounter with anybody that works there. Everyone is pretty grumpy or flat. Which you would really expect for the type of venue it is! I came here with two friends last week about 5:30pm, it was SO hot inside it felt like you’d walked off an airplane in a hot country! There were loads of customers waiting in the waiting area and nobody was seated at the tables.. we stood for a few minutes and nobody came to greet us. After one of us walked through to the restaurant past the till to see if anyone was seated round the corner because we didn’t know what the hold up was, she was stared at by the staff, as if to say “where are you going?” But we still weren’t seen to. So we left. Went to creams which was equally as appalling. 3 stars are for the visits in the past, good deserts that’s all.

Can't say anything about the food as after we paid they claimed it didn't go through even though I have 2 receipts stating it did and no declined card receipt, bank shows its came out. staff we unhelpful and rude.

Visit here today staff rude and grumpy will not be coming back. Asked for more information about a gluten free menu the staff didn't seem knowledgeable or helpful.

Wonderful desserts restaurant in the heart of Ipswich town centre. Plenty of space. Very nice ice creams and desserts. Would recommend.

We ordered for a takeaway and the service was so slow. The employees were mostly just chatting to eachother which for a takeaway for two simple smoothies you expect a nice swift wait... not a 20 minute wait. The only thing that made them do our food was I told them I had to get the bus in 5 minutes. I’m sure sit down service is nice enough but don’t expect quick service.

Fresh, delicious desserts, cakes, ice creams. We visit regularly, or get deliveries. My kids love the Hot fudge Sundae. I love the sponge cakes. The banana milkshake I had last visit was thick and creamy, prefect on a hot day

I ordered a couple of desserts from the app, only to arrive after a 15 minute drive to be told that the app doesn't work and I have to order on Uber eats (the app accepted my order and took payment) I then went to order the same 2 things on Uber eats, only to find that £5 had been added to the bill. I have never known anything like this. Hopefully I receive a refund.

Went here just a few days ago and the waiting service was awful, as was their approach to social distancing and hygiene regulations. They got my sundae order wrong and in exchange they brought me a sundae with no toppings or sauce. When I complained a second time around they argued with me, never once apologised. In the end we both left as we felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. Since I have emailed a complaint and I have heard nothing in response. Honestly not worth the trip! Go to creams just round the corner in the buttermarket. They are so welcoming and wonderful and their gelato taste better too!

The approach to Covid precautions does vary from place to place,some restaurants/cafes take it more seriously than others. But it was disappointing to see nothing in place at Kaspas other than some stickers on the floor. There was no attempt to collect names for track and trace, no santizer visible, well worn/handled menus were in use and a row of tables close together meant no social distancing had been considered for one section of the restaurant.The staff were working flat out to keep up with the orders coming in, which shows this is a very popular place to visit. Our ice cream sundaes were nice, but I have had better in other places. The waffles are probably the best value on the menu with more options to personalise the toppings.

We visited Kaspa’s this evening and took part in the eat out to help out scheme. As most places have been during this scheme, it was very busy. But as our visit went on I found myself becoming more and more uncomfortable and it turned out not to be a very nice experience. (Note: We have been in the past and haven’t had any complaints, so this review is based on the current climate). Positives: the food was ok, especially for what we paid - helped by the eat out to help out scheme of course. We were told the wait time would be 30 mins and it was about 15-20mins. So this was good considering how busy it was! Most tables were cleaned well in between customers. Negatives: The precautions in place to protect customers and staff were basically non existent. As we arrived there was a big queue, there was no member of staff at the entrance, no social distancing markers, no signage promoting their procedures. No one taking names and numbers for the government track and trace system, no temperature checks. I saw a hand sanitiser station as we left, it was not clearly visible as we entered and was near the toilets rather than the entrance and exit (we used our own sanitiser). There were lots of staff working in a close space to prepare food. Maybe 2 or 3 had masks - but they were worn around their necks which defeats the point of wearing them! The tables that weren’t of the booth style weren’t separated and customers at these tables were less than a metre apart. The menus were reused and not cleaned in between customers. There seemed to be far too many people there for the space that they had available. The staff were run off their feet and one said “I hate this 50% off”. Our drink order was wrong because of an unstocked fridge, probably due to how busy they were. You couldn’t book at table and you had to go up to order, which meant more people standing and waiting in an already busy and narrow area. We have visited several places during the eat out to help out scheme this month and we are happy to visit indoor restaurants. But we found all of these issues unacceptable in the current climate. Everywhere else we have been has been very responsible about keeping staff and customers safe. I definitely wouldn’t recommend visiting at this time.

The food was very nice when it came, but there was a bit of a wait, and only one thing came to start with and the staff member thought that was all we had. Was a bit of a wait for the next two plates. The same seemed to he happening all around the restaurant. Staff did not seem to know what was going on, the men were quite rude just putting menus and plates on the tables and not saying anything, no customer service really, the girls were trying their best and were polite though. The place is a bit run down and the staffs uniforms were covered in food.....surely they should have aprons on when dealing with the food.

Staff were rude... 3 were discussing their private lives loudly using disgusting language i front of my 2 sons myself and large amount of family that were visiting us.. My sons are 11 and 2! Shocking..We then decided to not go back and tried to order on line... The order was Cold with over an over late passed the original, delivery time and the order was wrong The delivery driver was again rude I made a call got spoken to abruptlyand took no responsibility for the order telling me if iw ant a refund take it up with just eat..

Food was pretty average and expensive. Staff just brought the food over and dumped it on the table, without really giving it too you. We asked for some tap water 3 times and were still never given it, so we just gave up with the idea. Overall our experience wasn’t great and will probably not return.

First visit and enjoyed the experience. Lots of choice, nice seating booths the only issue was we weren't told at seating that we had to order and pay at the counter. Pre cinema desert

Myself and husband decided to pop in as had time to kill in town.Upon ordering was asked cream or ice cream... I stated that the menu says cream AND ice cream. Again he asked which one after the 3rd time explaining to him what is on the menu.. He finally worked it out.I then asked for a card receipt... Which I was told that they don't give them out apparently the machine doesn't allow them... I had to explain in English that the card company does. He then said oh look its not.. I said it obviously needs a new roll of paper in the card machine....

Me and my partner have been here a few times and it never disappoints! There is such a big selection of delicious food and drink and the staff are so friendly! It’s great value for money and great for all ages! I would definitely recommend and come back!

Hard to make a choice with such a large menu. Portions are very generous but you are able to take away anything you can't manage in one serving which is handy.

I was so glad they decided to opt for home delivery as well, ordered off just eat, quick delivery and it was as good as it is in store. Waffle was warm and ice cream hadn’t melted. Was just perfect.

Been many times before, always good, staff polite, very nice desserts and good choice. I like that on Wednesday or Thursday you can pay for one and get two!

A nice ambiance , lovely waffle and ice cream selections however , the service is terrible : slow, unpleasant , unwelcoming and lacking on many account Apart from the cookie dough that was not well cooked and quite small compared to other similar places like Sprinkles and Creams , the rest was quite nice , fresh fruit lovely sorbets and ice cream combinations

We visited Kaspas for a quick lunch and will probably visit again soon. Although there are no savoury options we decided to try the waffles with ice-cream, they were large and full of flavour, although very sweet, which is OK as I have a very sweet tooth.Speed of service was not great but the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. There is so much choice we will definitely be visiting again to try the other options.

Visited twice, once in December for wife’s birthday and once in January for mine. Both times I have found hair in one of the meals and when highlighting it to the staff in January the staff members response (in front of my kids) was “oh f**k”. It’s a shame as the food tastes good, if you like the extra ingredients Will not be revisiting!!

My sister and her boyfriend took me here while I was visiting. Lovely desserts that took me by surprise! Hopefully they open one up near me!

With the fantastic american diner atmosphere and generally pleasing blend of colors, Kaspa's successfully won my heart with its oreo waffle, perfectly toasted waffle with the righ amount of sauce and cream making it a delight to eat in. Highly recommended

Desserts fairly tasty and milkshake very nice. However, staff are some of the most miserable people in the world and it attracts young, chavvy people. There's some genuinely awful young people in there which really ruined our experience. Staff didnt care.

we’ve been here a couple times since it’s opened, and the food we’ve been served is very nice but takes a long while to come out. a few staff members who we’ve been served by were grumpy which put the meal at not a good start. the enormous amount of options comes at a cost as most of the options we’ve chose didn’t have all the toppings that were on the menu which is a shame. it’s quite cheap but for what it is, it’s quite expensive. overall a good but not the best

Well what bad can you say about delicious deserts. Food was faultless however the service left a lot to be desired. We was a party of 8 and had 20 minutes between first and last one coming out.

Although Kaspa’s has been in Ipswich a while I have never been . Always seen a number if desserts that just look too much for me. However on my birthday my brother took me there for dessert after a main meal at Ararat . I was excited to try it. I decided on one of the milkshakes maltesar and galaxy regular size . I loved it . I will hopefully go again xx

Came in today. As My daughter wanted to. I certainly don't see what the big fuss is about it. Over priced, dirty, loud, slow. Paid just under £20 for 1 chocolate pancake , 1 cookie dough and 2 drinks. Won't be returning

Went into town with wife and three daughters...the girls loved it...creps are amazing...but what really stood out was the service by the chap called Mo was welcoming and polite definitely will return and highly recommend Thanks Mo

I had not been to Kaspa's before so decided to give it a try after meeting up with a mate in the town centre. The menu has a good variety of desserts to choose from. I decided to try a Caramel Shortcake waffle plus whipped cream with a Mars bar milkshake. The wait from ordering at the counter to my waffle and milkshake being served wasn't long at all which was good.My mate enjoyed his bubblegum milkshake and the taste of the Mars bar milkshake I had plus the Caramel Shortcake waffle was heaven. I'll definitely consider coming back to try something different off the menu. If you like your desserts you must try out Kaspa's as it's a good place to go for a dessert treat.

I visited with my young family. The food arrived and looked great, as it does in our local Kaspas. However, in the Ipswich one we randomly decided to check the bottom of our plates as the top was incredibly dirty. We were absolutely appalled and disgusted by the limescale and mould. The waffle was warm which meant the plate was warm. The ice cream bowl was on the plate, the bottom of the ice cream bowl was full of the same stuff. I felt sick. The warmth of the plate would surely mean the germs on the bottom would be active. It’s worrying that al these plates are likely to be stacked on top of each other at the end of every day/ after cleaned. I’m not a fussy person however it did make me feel sick. Please check your cutlery and plates. The music played is also inappropriate for children, it’s hip hop type music that contains swear words. Management is appalling and beg not to post negative reviews on social media. Too little too late.

Last minute choice to eat here. Diabetic nightmare, but wow! Staff were friendly but the background music was rubbish. I don't Grime is the way forward this.

Service is fairly poor, I had no idea how it worked - you have to go up to the counter, but no-one explains that, we were sat at the table for ages. Very small portions for what you pay for and limited variety. Cremes in the buttermarket is the same type of restraunt but far superior quality.

Well it seems word of mouth is a better advert for this place rather than trip advisor. After hearing such good things about this place when nan suggests we go here for a family treat we all instantly agreed.Sadly it seems we were to be disappointed. Being a group of 7 with 1 of our party being in a wheelchair this gave us very little option or where to sit. The first lady I asked looked somewhat baffled by my request, however was soon greeted by another young lady and after a very brief pause we were shown to a table. Not to bad so far. Then I decided to use the toilet. Being a man I stood at the toilet and thinking of the ladies I lifted the seat. Upon seeing the underside of the seat felt the instant need to wash my hands before continuing. It looks like they wipe the top of the seat but have given little attention to lift the seat.Food and drinks were ordered at the bar. Drinks arrived at a reasonable rate. However the desserts were delivered in a 1 by 1 fashion. And after a little wait it seems they had forgotten my dessert so after asking was given an apology and it arrived soon after. The desserts were very nice lots of cream, ice cream and overly sugary sickly sources. Yummy we all loved them.However the biggest issue we had was this on a cold November afternoon and the fact that all though the restaurant was half empty. Due to my farther in law being wheelchair bound we were unable to move tables. For some reason they insisted on keeping the door wide open. Stating that it was illegal to shut the door. I would love to know what law this is.so we and many customers around us sat still in our coats eating ice cream. We did mention this to a nice young lady however she stated there was no manager in and there was nothing she could do.

Me and my partner and my son and his girlfriend were here after going to trongs and we were all very well impressed with the milkshakes and desserts the food is very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful and the decor reminded me of the t.v show happy days and the prices are very good as well.

My daughter pestered me for months to visit this place. The desserts were lovely, but the service was decidedly rubbish, especially as it's supposed to be a fun themed sweet treat. The decor is cool and like a 60's diner style with sparkles and glitter, but the lackluster attitude of the staff (one older man in particular) made me feel sorry for the young people who go regularly and have to put up with his miserable attitude.

Visited here a handful of times now. I tend to go for the Banoffee and Nutella waffle which is amazing. Desserts are brought out at different times due to 'cooking times'. Why not just scoop out the ice cream sundae when the waffle is almost fully cooked instead of bringing it out half an hour apart? Had this happen a few times. Staff aren't very helpful but food is alright with alright price. I will visit again just for the waffle

Avoid this place like it's....well, like it's a dirty unclean place with staff that appear to have suffered severe head trauma.Save your money and your time and effort by simply asking a disinterested youth to ignore you while another 4 chat loudly to each other, listlessly poking at ice cream tubs.

Visited today for the second time, with husband and 2 children (12,8). Had to wait a few mins for a table but that was fine, ordered quickly but did have a little wait for food I get it's because it is cooked to order, I had a milkshake which was lovely however this arrived about 10 mins before the rest of the food, could do with working timings better. I had also ordered tap water I had to chase this up as once our food arrived we still hadn't received it, I would expect to receive this as soon as we had ordered, I bet if it was a paid for drink we would have!Between us we had waffle, sundae, and crepe all were lovely if a little sickly I would maybe appreciate a smaller option maybe even a kids version although my son finished his he didn't need a sundae that large! I would go back for the kids, but I don't think it's a cheap option

Kaspas is absolutely perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. The menu is amazing- so much indulgent sweet treats to choose from. Crepes, waffles, pancakes, sundaes; this place has it all! I have been several times this summer and I am sure I'll be coming back very soon. Love having a restaurant dedicated to deserts, a fun and entertaining dining experience. I also think price wise this place is great- at around £6 for a crepe it's definitely value for money. If you are thinking of going, do- you won't regret it.

Bought friend here for a birthday treat. Neither of us had been here before but I saw a friends post on Facebook and it looked awesome. Massive selection of waffles and milkshakes, absolutely stuffed once we had finished. Really tasty and great service.

Visited after a trip to Empire.Were seated quickly, and not long to wait for food. It's all made fresh, so in busy periods it can take a while.Tried the cookie dough this time, was nice but just tasted like a brownie. Will stick to the yummy waffles next time, my daughters oreo one looked great.Friendly staff, and restaurant looked clean and comfortable

I have visited a few times with my daughter for a sweet treat and have always been impressed with the food. The set up is a little odd, I find it weird to be sat in a restaurant but having to pay the bill before we've eaten. There is a bit of a wait for food but you can see it is always made fresh to order which is probably why it tastes so nice. The ice cream melts quickly and the dishes are too shallow so it leaks over the side quickly!

This place is diabetes on a plate but your taste buds will love it! Just make sure you only go once in a while or you will end up obese!

Looks wow from outside but place was lacking a good clean inside. The mess left from other guests was disgusting and no on seemed bothered to clean up.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to the staff tonight! It doesn't take a lot to be kind! So many times by so many people it is ignored! I came in tonight with friends and my husband and our 2 year old won the hearts of the staff especially one in particular who was playing with her all night! And giving her free ice cream (didn't go to bed till 11:30 though ) she was laughing so much and having so much fun! I don't ever review on anything but it really does make a difference! Went here with the missus and my brother with his missus. They had been talking about it for a long time so we thought we would join them. It was a blooming good treat! The waffles we had were:M&M's waffle with ice cream (picture)Apple crumble waffle with ice cream x2 (picture)Caramel shortcake waffle with ice creamThey were all lovely even though a little sickly but what do you expect. I was shocked to see on my apple crumble waffle actual scoops of an apple pie. It was awesome. I believe they were all priced around £6.50.For drinks we shared two slushes with juicy balls. One was berry lemonade with lychee balls and the other lemon with lime balls. I know it's strange talking about balls but they were novel thing. They weren't hard but soft and burst in your mouth when you chewed into them. Please excuse the way the sentence sounds but it's the only way I can describe.Worth going to and we will go again.

Visited here a few times now and never had an issue with the service. The food is amazing and not too expensive really. Only issue ive had is the fact that its the warmest dessert shop i've ever encountered. Even in the midst of summer when you want to go in for an ice cream once you sit on the leather seats you melt faster than the ice cream!

Great desserts - that's if you ever actually get to try it as the service here is appalling. We were shown to a table and told that someone would be with us in a few minutes to take our order. Fifteen minutes later we were still waiting. I managed to get the attention of a passing waiter who took our order which you then have to pay for prior to receiving your food. When it finally came the dessert was lovely (and expensive!), but the poor service means that I shall never visit again.

Called in tonight and what a place for desserts great staff excellent choice and the tastes were fabulous. Easy to find and plenty of seating areas.

My first visit to Kaspas was great with regards to my food; I had the Banoffee Nutella Waffle. It was huge! My other half had the Double Chocolate Cookie Dough & he said it waa lovely. I think it is good for value for money - just over £15 for two desserts & two drinks. However, i was less than impressed with the staff. We was put onto a table which had already been given to someone else who was ordering & they were generally too busy to make sure everything was ok.Will be going back though to try much more on their huge menu!!!

Lovely ice cream (not delicate but when you just want to have a big ice cream with toppings that's perfect) but the staff is sooooo bad!!! We had to wait for a long time for two ice creams, twice they came to serve us desert which were for another table and they are absolutely not friendly.

The food is okay if you like really sweet desserts but the cappuccino is awful, did not taste like anything really. Most of the people working there are quite unfriendly and unhelpful. My friend is gluten intolerant and the staff did not help her at all and just threw a list with allergy information on our table! You have to wait for ages until your food arrives and then they forget half of it (esp drinks, so keep the receipt)

Can't believe the way me and my friends were treated. After accidentally breaking a table I am disgusted at the way we have been made to feel. The staff were rude and forced us to give names and numbers to pay for the table which was not even broken (just needed to be bolted back into place). The staff did not pass us our food they just left it on the table. All of the staff were giving us dirty looks and staring and talking about us in earshot. If I could give no stars I would. The "supervisor" could not even tell us who the manager was.

This is such a great idea, the desserts are out of this world, the portion sizes are massive with a take away the rest option, my only thing is it may be a lovely venue but I do find it's particularly over priced, I live on the principal pay for quality is not a problem but this now is down as some where to go for a treat , we would visit more often if the prices where more in line with other high street venues

Impromptu visit after main course nearby. If you like sickly, over-sweet desserts this is the place to go. Chocolate, cream, chocolate & more cream, with syrup or sweet sauce on pretty much everything.

I loved it here! I spent so long deciding what to have as the menu is so big! There is something for everyone. You can chose to sit in or takeaway which is handy and it was much more fun going here after a meal out as the puddings were huge. Loved the glittery atmosphere and the table service was fine too. Can't wait to get another pudding.

I can't complain about the food or service as they were both great.. It wasn't busy when we went so the food came out fast and there were no complaints

Been here a good amount of times since it's opened. The food is amazing, no quibbles. Lovely waffles, yummy ice cream. I'm not too keen on the cakes, but that's just my personal opinion.Service and wait times are the problem. It is a busy and popular place, but sometimes you can wait really long for a waffle. However, I usually take this into consideration and give myself enough time. Longest I have ever waited was around 30 mins, and they were REALLY busy.I came this morning with my friend for waffle breakfast and was greeted within minutes of walking in. The girl who took our order was very miserable looking. No smiles, nothing.It always just seems as though the staff don't want to be there, and service can be terribly slow. However, the food is out of this world. Yum!

Waited so long for seat and for food but very tasty. Queue was out of the door despite lots of empty tables - not enough staff to wipe tables etc!

Visited here today for the third time. There is always a wait for a table as its such a busy place. I actually don't mind this as the staff will notify you about the length of the possible wait so that's fine. You're given menus and you have to order and pay at the till. The menu is great, so much variety and not bad for the price! The only problem I have is the wait for the food. If you chose a waffle you're looking at a 25-40 minute wait but if you chose ice cream then about 10 minutes. I think the 45-minute wait is a bit over the top! The service has always been abysmal every time I have gone. All the staff that has ever served me are never smiling and are just generally grumpy. When the food arrives they just plonk it at the end of the table and they don't say what they've given you either! We also didn't get tap water until our food arrived (so about half an hour later). You'd think they'd serve the water straight up! Overall, a great looking place with great food. The service just lets it down.

Desserts were so tasty and, despite being a little bit pricy, it was 100% worth it for the price. Only thing is that I had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table so I decided to just order a takeaway dessert instead. A wide choice of ice-creams with unusual flavours, so this was interesting and attractive to customers. A little chilly in the restaurant but let's face it, it's full of ice-creams and frozen desserts so I'm not surprised!

We had a little wait for a table, which was ok. The waiter then tried to cram the seven in our party onto a table that might have squeezed five and was very rude when asked if we could have another chair to add on at end. We were give a chair by another waitress, but were then told abruptly (again, by the same waiter) to move to another table about ten minutes later when a larger one had become available. The food was quite nice,but the music blaring out of the speaker directed towards by ear was too loud! However, half way through eating the cold air began blasting through the air vents and we had to pull our coats on. A ploy to ensure visitors do not stay too long?

Came here at a quiet time, just as it opened on a weekday, so didn't have to wait long for a table or food. I have seen queues outside at weekends. Obviously aimed at young people, the food is pretty good and portions are reasonably generous. My caramel crunch with a drink came to around a tenner. I guess for a family it could get quite expensive. Yeah it's good but not fantastic.

We visited Kaspas after hearing good things about the delicious desserts. Our friend was visiting for the weekend and we had about an hour and a half before her train, so we thought what a perfect time to get a dessert to finish off a lovely weekend. There was a bit of a wait to be seated, however this was understandable for a popular place. There was a large amount of choice, almost too much to choose from. Once we had placed our order of 3 ice-cream sundaes, we waited 45minutes before they arrived. This we were appalled at as it was just ice-cream. No cooking needed! This meant we had about 6 minutes to eat them before we rushed to the station. Overall not impressed at the service.

They were 10 minutes late opening, even though we were the third table to order the 4 of us still had to wait 45 minutes for our order. Before we had finished eating they asked if we wanted another coffee we replied not yet and then 2 minutes later they asked us to leave because they needed the table. Maybe if their service was quicker they wouldn't get such a queue. The food is lovely but the service is awful.

The waffles are great - that is not in dispute, however the service is appalling.We stood for over 20 minutes waiting to be seated - not one member of staff spoke, said hello, or even made eye contact. Eventually someone came to seat us and just said 'follow me'.We ordered 7 desserts - the ice cream and cup of tea came after 25 minutes and after an hour we were still waiting for the waffles. I managed to find a member of staff to ask and he took our receipts to find our order. The waffles eventually arrived in fits and starts and two were missing the Oreo base and another was made with white chocolate instead of milk. When we said it was wrong, the member of staff rolled her eyes at us and then asked if we would accept it anyway and added some chocolate syrup on the top. We had waited so long we kept the waffles but will not be returning. There is no excuse for rudeness and it takes no time to acknowledge customers and smile.

Love this place!If you have a sweet tooth this is the place to be!What a treat!I love the waffles they are massive, but also very light.My fave is the kinder beueno! A must try! :)My husband is a fan of the warm cookie dough.So if you just want dessert this is the place to be!
