I am extremely disappointed been here 30 minutes for a take away told 10 and the staff are just ignoring us they also kept trying to make me buy the more expensive options. I must say these workers will never be one of my ELITE EMPLOYEES!!!! Pure disgrace, could have gone to Germany and back in this time at this rate 🥳🥳

my wife Placed an order for a very bery Cherry sundae and a tripple chocolate fudge cake at 9pm on Tuesday 3rd October2023 through justeat. this was never delivered, instead it was cancelled and we did not know about it until just before 10pm on the 4th October 2023. I find this extremely disappointing, not to mention unprofessional - it should not take a full hour to deliver chilled and frozen products to customers only 1.5 miles from the kaspas didcot icecream parlour. neither should it take an hour to let the customer know their order was Not fulfilled. Kaspas forgot rules 1 and 2 in retail, give the customer what they asked for or if they are unable to fulfill an order notify the customer so they can collect their order..clearly Kaspas failed in both regards and if they do this with all their customers who order online then they may loose customers and business.Nd receive bad reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One star was only because my granddaughter had her dessert first but then I had to wait nearly 30 mins for a coffee. Had to go to the counter twice to chase my order. Overpriced and place has no atmosphere. I'm going to avoid in the future. I don't usually give negative feedback without trying to offer advice to improve but not sure what would help, though could start with attentive staff.

Wouldn’t give didcot Kaspas one star but no lower option available one scoop of ice cream is more like half , toilets disgusting coffee very poor , if you want a nice ice coffee walk up the road and go to Boswell cafe . Table was dirty under the table must have been last night food .

There was one single member of staff taking orders, preparing deserts and taking them out. The queue kept growing. The food was good but took ages to come due to this poor person having way more work than she could handle. I don’t know if this a normal situation or someone was off sick today. If the former, I do hope kaspas hires more people as it’s not fair on the workers or the customers.

Absolutely awful terrible customer service, after just getting over cancer I come here for a cheer me up treat and the awful waitress instantly looked at me and went face mask..... Not hello not how are you....just face mask, and when I explained that I had just got over cancer and I'm exampt, she was like prove it where is your land yard, I happened to have it in my car and apologised, yet again she rudely made me go and get it,Absolutely appualing behaviour

After making an order 15 minutes before they closed (needed a little cheering up), the staff still accepted the order with great service. Our deserts were delicious and our bubbleslushes were yummy. I highly recommend Kaspa's, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

At the start of our visit to kaspas we were not explained any of the Covid-19 measures we have to follow, not even a greeting when we walked in. We ordered a few ice creams and 2 hot desserts (waffle and fudge cake). Both the waffle and the fudge cake were given to us cold, when discussing this with one of the workers she accused us of being there for 30 minutes with the dessert despite only being in the building for a total of 15 minutes with proof of time of ordering on the receipt, when the issue had been accepted to be changed by the worker, the other workers all decided to huddle and find out what's happening, following that with stares in our direction. Can't fault the food once this was corrected. But glad I'm not ordering one of the other cakes in the display as they looked stale and falling apart as if they had been there for a while, and glass around the upstairs covered in handprints left by previous customers clearly showing the lack of thorough cleaning during covid-19, wouldn't recommend sitting in if you want any food.

We dropped in today and ordered a Bueno waffle and after 8 sundae. Both were made fresh and delivered to our table quickly. The sauce on the after 8 tasted very artificial but other than that all was good. Could do with better music in there.

I’ve eaten twice in the last 12 months and both experiences have been poor. My last visit was terrible, waited to be sat down, all the dishes arrived at different times, wrong orders, no drinks etc etc. I complained via Facebook messenger and email and guess what... no reply. I suggest you buy some desserts for Sainsbury’s or M&S opposite.

My boyfriend and I made a last minute decision to go to Kaspas for a late evening desert on 23/2/2020.Our seating experience was great and we used the app to order. My food and our drinks can very quickly but we were waiting a good extra 5 minutes before my boyfriend’s arrived at the table. I had a strawberries coated in chocolate and he had a waffle so we semi expected there to be a bit of a delay.When his finally arrived he dove straight into the pudding. From his very first mouthful something was left dangling from his mouth... a hair. From directly inside the waffle. How disgusting.We called over a waiter who very quickly removed the dish from our table and ordered another one. Following his movements back to the open kitchen we noticed both female workers were not wearing hair nets.When the fresh desert arrived it came out with custard instead of cream.Mistake after mistake we asked for the manager who apologised and refunded us for the waffle.I don’t think we will be eating here again anytime soon.

This is the second time we’ve been, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt as our first time was not great either. We arrived and the closed sign was displayed in the door, but we saw people in there so went in and asked if they were open. They were, so we stayed. And waited to be seated. And waited. And waited. And waited. Bear in mind there were only 3 tables occupied and no other customers waiting - we waited 15 minutes to be seated. We had a baby with us, no offer of a high chair and the staff member who showed us to our table left super quick before we had sat down or had a chance to ask about a high chair. We ordered an ice cream sundae, a milkshake and a hot chocolate. We also asked for some hot water to make up a bottle for the baby. Which was provided in a glass. Not a mug, a latte tall cup or any other hot drink receptacle, but a drinking glass... the ones they serve the cold drinks in. Painful to carry but we didn’t want to wait even longer to feed the baby. The hot chocolate came after 5 minutes which was quick. It was ok, nothing special. 30 minutes later (we were 1 of 4 tables, and 1 of the tables had already received their food before we ordered) we received the sundae an shake. I counted at least 4 staff members and it took 30 minutes for a small sundae and a shake. The sundae was ok, the milkshake was ok. Didn’t meet expectations given the price and the wait. In summary: terrible service, mediocre desserts, not expensive but not cheap either.

Popped in before going to the cinema. Ordered at till & then the man cleared it and had to redo it. Then we waited nearly an hour for food ( it wasn’t particularly busy). When asking how long they gave no explanation. Then the food finally came & he hadn’t put my coffee on & my daughter had ice cream sauce instead of the correct sauce on her Crepe. I was so disappointed as we’ve been before and really didn’t expect it. I know a couple of people got a refund and left. It’ll be a while before I return.

Today I went into Kaspas for the first time in a while and like a lot of the time the staff aren’t fussed if there are customers in the building! This due to them ignoring customers waiting at the door, not taking there orders even though they can see them stood there waiting at the till and won’t clear tables when the guests have finished because their phone or chatting to their colleagues is more important.I have found this to happen majority of the time I go and only keep going back for the deserts! However I am not impressed with the staffs attitude especially when what looked like the manager was serving food with gloves on - I’m not that filthy! Overall good food but really bad staff and I think something called a meeting might help or discipline!!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was quite full but not bursting. We had to wait 1 hour for the sundae to arrive. The staff were rude and offered no apology for the delay. Unfortunately when the dessert finally arrived it was very average - quite small and poorly assembled.

Had a very pleasant catch up with a friend over a sundae. I went for a fruity vegan option, not because I am vegan but it sounded refreshing. It was. Absolutely delicious. My friend's sundae looked pretty good too and we were both happy with our choices.

Took my son for a treat but won't be back any time soon. For a Friday night it's was strangely quiet then after a 15 minute wait it became apparent why. I watched 3 people send there ice cream back as it smelt off and I discovered a whole frozen solid strawberry in mine that would have taken my teeth out. Staff response just a chuckle. I now know why the other places were busy and they wernt so won't be rushing back.

We visited for the first time today for dessert after a Nandos next door. We ordered a salted caramel cheesecake with ice cream on the side and a milk chocolate crepe. The desserts came out fairly quickly and were absolutely delicious. The decor in Kaspa's is modern and querky and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely return again.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon, we were made very welcome by our waitress & the booth we sat in was very clean. The food was really good & our waitress could not have been more helpful. This is our 3rd visit & the food has always been good & the staff friendly. Somewhere different to go for a treat - there's a huge choice on the menu

Friendly staff and fabulous desserts today. It was a trip for my daughter and her friends but the grown-ups and siblings too. We were seated quickly, ordered quickly and were served quickly. We were surprised at so much choice on the menu. One of us is allergic to nuts and eggs and it would be a big plus point if there could be a few more options available but we did manage with a mango sorbet. Please could you put allergen info on your website? Makes life easier before coming and less time when ordering and double-checking in the allergen book inshore. Not having the info online nearly stopped us going. Having soft drink prices in the menu would help too.

When first arriving the service was poor, we then had to replace our order twice when ordering at the counter due to the waiter cancelling the order. Once the food finally arrived every meal arrived with about a 10 minute interval between reach meal. The food wasn’t amazing but was a standard waffle. Now that I have been I would not return again.

I went to Kaspa's as my partner and I were having a date night. So after dining for dinner we decided to treat ourselves to a good dessert. This is where our nice evening turned sour. We entered Kaspa's and waited to be seated, after about 6 mins a lady came up to us and ushered us to a booth. She didn't apologise for the wait nor did she explain that we had to order at the till. After sitting for 10 mins we realised that we had to order at the till. I got up and went to the same lady that seated us and asked for some tap water. She said "Sure, in a minute". I proceeded to the till and again had to wait for 5 mins before the same lady that seated me and that ordered the water from came to take my order, again no apologies for the wait. I placed my order and then went back to my booth. The desserts came after about 10 minutes but no water came, in fact the water never came. The reason why I wanted the water was to take my lactase enzymes as I am lactose intolerant and cannot have milk products without the enzymes. Therefore I had to consume my extremely milk-containing sundae with discomfort and then rushed to my car so I can make it home to my toilet. So there was an important reason why I wanted some water! By the way the staff making the desserts should not be the servers as their uniforms were quite filthy looking with ingredients splashed all over it. Needless to say I won't be returning to Kaspa's any time soon well not until they sort out their awful customer service!

Visited the famous Kaspas that I hear so much about. There was a large queue to eat in but the staff handled it extremely well. The menu is extensive and everything looks good. The ordering system I find strange. You are taken to your seat, given a menu then when you are ready you join a queue which consists of customers that are eating in and customers that walk in and join the queue for a takeaway ice cream, the queue was obviously very large, in a small space. I am not sure I like the ordering system it but equally not sure how they could change it. As a family of 4 we ordered one waffle with maple syrup and M&Ms;, one waffle with choco nut, one plain vanilla ice cream with marshmallows and a hot apple pie and ice cream and two sparkling waters. The bill came to £26 which was fine and acceptable. The M&M; waffle was amazing, my son was amazed at the size and taste, he was very happy. The vanilla cream was nice, it was vanilla I cream end of! My husbands waffle hit the spot although the taste of the icecream that came with it (from a machine a little bit like a Mr Whippy Machine) was not quite right, something was off, I warned him against eating it......he didn’t die or have to run to the toilet so it must have been ok. I had the apple pie which was OK, I sent the icecream back and opted for a ball of vanilla icecream as I was sure I would be risking my life as it had a strange taste. All in all, it was Ok. I wish I hadn’t been sat near the counter as at one point they emptied the mop bucket and I could smell heavy cleaning fluid, but at least i knew it was clean.

My wife and I ordered a waffle (and ice cream), an apple crumble (and ice cream) and drinks. After nearly an hours wait the waffle and ice cream arrived. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. The waffle was barely warm. 10 minutes later the Apple crumble and drinks arrived.

Well I’d like to say it was very good because the food was in fact very good but the fact it took them just over 40 minutes to deliver 3 waffles and a crepe to our table I just can’t give them any more than average. It wasn’t even busy I would say it was about 1/3 full. I’ve no idea what the staff (kids) were doing but the service was poor to say the least.

Can’t review the food but I’ve just tried to get a table at 3pm. Not particularly busy and three tables empty but told there is an hour wait for food. AN HOUR!!! For ice cream!!!! 6 staff behind the counter who certainly weren’t in a rush doing anything. I now have a six year old crying his eyes out. Seriously?

Upon first showed our seating area, the waitress was polite and friendly (A*) the range of desserts as per the menu and display absolutely fabulous (A*) the overall appearance of the restaurant not so great, but I'm not eating off the floor so why complain. Cleaning was in progress as seen from where we were sat, ordering simple and again friendly staff and training was in progress (A*) my first visit, my wife's second. We'll be going back soon!

Yesterday I went to Kaspa's for the first time with my friend and and was not knowing what to expect. When arriving, we were given a table very quickly. We got given our menus and chose what we would like to eat. We went downstairs to order and that was all fine until we were waiting to get given our food. We saw our food come upstairs (obviously thinking it was ours) then the table next to us got given it. We had ordered our food at least 10 minutes before they had. We did hear them say that it wasn't what they had ordered. So obviously it was probably meant to be ours. Once we had waited 25 minutes for our food to arrive, I went and spoke to a lady and asked whether our food was actually going to come and she said she'd go and check downstairs, we then waited another 10 minutes for her to come back- which she didn't. So then I had to go and speak to another member of staff to ask what was going on. She did then come back and said that the waffle mix had ran out. This meant that we were going to have to wait another 30 minutes for us to get a waffle.

The food portion was excellent there was plenty. Although, the food was unbearably sickly and the ice cream had a peculiar taste of metal even though it was meant to be “fresh vanilla”. Whilst, the milkshake was the opposite and I couldn’t taste anything- if I wasn’t already on my way home I would of asked them to replace it with an actual flavour. I guess thats the same for all kaspas?

I went to kaspas with my friend for a treat. We got there at 12 and hadn't got our food for 1hour and 30 minutes. After that time, they asked for our receipts and to be honest, why couldn't they do that sooner? The service is terrible and has no organisation. The food is delicious but I don't recommend if u don't have around 3 hours to spare!!!❌❌

On our first visit to Kaspas, Didcot we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated even though there were more staff than customers. When we were eventually were seated the waiter was blunt and abrupt. This was our first time visit and the ordering process was not explained to us. Eventually we ordered and had to wait a further 15 minutes for our meal to arrive which is understandable. But when our food eventually came out our drinks still hadn’t arrived. We had to wait 5 minutes for one of the drinks to arrive but we weren’t described which of our drinks this was. Then we had to wait further 10 minutes for our second drink to arrive and finally were told which drinks was which, the quality of the drinks were poor as was the service and attitude of the waiter.

Pretty disappointing visit; waited too long to be seated and was told there’d be a half hour wait for food as they were so busy (there were a bunch of empty tables, would hate to see what it would be like if they were REALLY busy), wasn’t told we needed to order at the counter (so waited longer for a non-existent person to come and serve), many of the wait staff seemed improperly trained, food was expensive, serving sizes were large but tasted kind of ‘cheap.’

There is a distinct lack of coordination and management at Kaspers. Fairly quick and easy to place an order but 40mjns later and no food. When it did arrive it was in dribs and drabs. And a further 10mins before the 3year old got 1 scoop of ice cream. The floor of the serving area was filthy. There just didn’t seem to be enough staff prepping- only 2 for a very busy restaurant. Food was nice though !!

I visited the restaurant today a week after opening and it was busy. We were told there was a 20 minute wait for table - fair enough it was our choice to wait .Once our table was ready we were then told it was a 45 minute wait for food -15 minutes of that standing in a queue .At that point and with 3 year old in tow we decide to just get him a scoop in a cone for takeaway. We join the queue a further 15 minutes later we are served and told it is a further 30 minutes wait for someone to scoop 1 scoop in a cone for takeaway. Understandably the 3 year old has had enough and cries we ve been waiting over 1 hour by now and who can blame them most adults would have lost the will by then. I explain the situation to 2 members of staff who seam to be shocked that I think 30 mins is too long for an ice cream and 1 hour 5 mins after entering I leave with an upset child and not even an icecream cone let alone a waffle! Of course the store is busy as it has just opened but no business can thrive on just 1 week they need customers to keep coming back and to do this you need to offer good efficient service even at busy times.

I don't tend to write a bad review, but I feel that this is completely justified. We came as a family of 5, we were seated pretty promptly and the kind lady eplained what we had to do, they were rushed off their feet! Queue was long but moving at a steady pace. I placed my order, the Cashier was pleasant, he told me to take a seat and someone will be there shortly. All was well up until now, half an hour had passed and no sign of our food. I asked a member of staff who was walking past, she went and checked and brought us 1 of the items and told us the other was on its way. 15 minutes had passed, I went up to the frontline and asked, the same lady said that my order could not be found and if she can check my receipt. I don't recall being given one.

I was there at the opening. I don’t think the staff (all new and just finished training) were prepared for how busy it would be from the get-go but they went with it and coped well. I think the customers were all up for being there on the first day.It really is a different type of restaurant for Didcot. I was in a group of five and considering the amount of people that poured through the door as Kaspa’s opened for the first time- we were served quite quickly. There seemed to be a problem initially with the cash machine- but hey- was that the staffs fault? One customer seemed to think so.Shame on you! All the staff were courteous and the food was good quality. The chocolate sauce was the best I have had in a fast-food restaurant. One of our group considers himself an expert on ice cream - and he said all the flavours he tried were great quality. The portions were more than generous. The coffee was very good. Best wishes for the future to Kaspa’s Didcot.

I visited your didcot branch today to be completely ignored for 10 minutes with multiple staff walking past completely ignoring us. We overheard one of the staff telling the staff members that as soon as it hits 7.30 it will be take out only. With overhearing this we started questioning why 'the customers' hadn't been told this yet. One of the staff members finally came over to inform us that we were only able to get take out. I asked the reason why and she informed me because they closed at 8pm (the current time was 7:10). We then started asking why we haven't been seated yet as there was plenty of tables free upstairs & down. I explained to the lady that on the app and on the website it states you’re open until 11pm. I do understand they shut at 8pm but there is no need to stop people from sitting in and eating when it is only just gone 7. The branch lost many customers today not just ourselves but others queuing outside the door that hadn't been told about the 7.30 take out rule.

The desserts were lovely but let down by the unfriendly waiting staff. We were told we’d have to wait for a table even though there were lots of free tables.

WE had our Grandkids with us for the day and went to Henley.Called into Costa in the afternoon (1/6/24) before heading home, for coffee,tea and cakes but it was shambolic.....the staff were either unattentive or didn't understand english,or were inept at their jobs.Many people hanging around for drinks they'd ordered which hadn't materialised,us included and staff being constantly reminded by customers of what they were waiting for!....won't be going back!

Always great. Why are there not more Burger Kings? Wouldn't touch McDonald's D's with a bargepole.

Staff are always nice here. Drive through usually busy but moves quick. Small car park, next to a BP petrol station.
