Kaspa's in Nottingham

Hardly anyone in, waited over 40 mins for our desserts, waited 35 mins just for a glass of tap water which arrived warmer than the sticky toffee pudding! Desserts on the whole were not nice, cookie dough vile, blueberry arancini disgusting. Sticky toffee pudding arrived still frozen in the middle after a 40 minute wait. Staff uninterested no apology no offer of a replacement or money back. Came to the table 15 mins later with another, no thanks !! Spent over £130 between the 10 us. Absolutely rubbish, wouldn't bother again. Needs a Manager with a bit of experience !!

Place used to pretty good. But gone down hill massively as of late. They’ve never got half the stuff on the menu and the hot food comes out stone cold! For the price you’re paying in here you expect a decent product but that ain’t the case. only decent things they do is the slush and milkshakes but they can be hit and miss. When you do complain about the product, they just go I’ll let them know, but nothing happens or you don’t get compensated for there mess they’ve made So avoid this place and go to a better dessert spot in Nottingham

Waitress came and said arancini ball flavour I wanted they didn’t have then she came back and said they was all out. So I had to pick something else the apple and cinnamon bun WAS COLD and you couldn’t taste ANY CINNAMON OR APPLE. Bland MUSHY MESS. The slushie drink wasn’t great didn’t get much flavour couldn’t taste the passion fruit. Awful food and service staff are NOT attentive. AVOID.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!! I would seriously give this place 0 stars, if it was possible! The customer service is beyond a joke!! The time waiting for your food to be served is ridiculously long and then it comes out separately, so everyone ends up eating at different times. They also regularly get orders wrong and even forget to bring some of them out at all!?? When any issues are pointed out, for some reason, they make you feel like you're the problem!? I also found hair in my dessert, and took it back and obviously didnt want a replacement. Then I found more in my childs dessert, so had to also take that back! The presentation is also nothing like they claim. They even ran out of certain ingredients and hoped I wouldn't notice or say anything! Then, when I pointed it out, they admitted to running out, yet still tried to give my child the same dish, hoping that we wouldn't notice! It's a shame how far this place has fallen in the past year or two! I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK and I would advise anyone else to AVOID THIS PLACE!!

Cuando llegó mi masa de galletas el plato en el que estaba era vil, pegajoso, sucio y polvoriento. El plato en el que estaba el plato también estaba sucio. El desierto de Nat también era frío. Me di cuenta de que todos los plátanos en la barra eran de un marrón extraño, no del color típico cuando están demasiado maduros. Subió al mostrador y habló con una pobre excusa de un líder de turno que se quedó allí en silencio. Dijimos que no estaba contento ya que era repugnante y ella solo reembolsó los desiertos y preguntó si queríamos algo en la casa, obviamente se negó ya que de ninguna manera iba a comer otra cosa de ese lugar. Vimos el estado del mostrador donde preparaban la comida, las tablas de picar verdes eran negras, los cuchillos acababan de salir en el aparador. También vimos a alguien ir del bar a la parte de atrás y usamos la manguera en potasa para enjuagarse las manos antes de continuar. Un lugar absolutamente vil no querría que mi peor enemigo comiera aquí 🤢

AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! If I could give -100 stars I would Do not ever go to kaspa’s Deserts in Nottingham!! We went to kaspa’s yesterday and we were waiting for an hour for 2 deserts and a drink. When my cookie dough arrived the dish it was in was vile, sticky, dirty and dusty. The plate the dish was on was also dirty. Nat’s desert was also cold. Went noticed all the bananas on the bar were a weird brown, not the typical colour when they are over ripe. Went up to the counter and spoke to a poor excuse of a shift leader who just stood there silently. We said wasn’t happy as it was disgusting and she only refunded the deserts and asked if we wanted something on the house, obviously refused as no way would I eat another thing from that place. We saw the state of the counter where they prepared food, green chopping boards were black, knifes just left on the sideboard. We also watched someone go from the bar into the back and used the hose on potash to rinse his hands before carrying on. Absolutely vile place wouldn’t want my worst enemy to eat here 🤢

Hi there avoid this place I when there they bring me the menu the price is different when you go to the tile I told them they are Sid we didn't change the menu there for I have to get my money back because I fil I got ripoff please be careful !

Love the food here this is my second visit and both visits were ruined by flies!! Flies everywhere from those big dirty ones constantly trying to land on your food and then those little fruit flies that hover around, must be something causing them? I’m defo put off coming here again.

Super accomodating, came in in my wheelchair and sat in the bottom section with my sister. The team were lovely and moved things around for us, offered a pot of different options for service to make it easier for me. Really lovely staff and really delicious food. I cannot recommend this place enough, especially their passionfruit sorbet, it's an easy choice for me every time.

Ordered via the app, food came out hot which was great but originally wrong food item came to the table and ice cream missing. My friend and I got our drinks and then food but we had to wait over 40 minutes for a bubblegum millions milkshake to be delivered for my daughter. Music was very loud, the seat was ripped so had tape stuck over it ,which got stuck to my daughters trousers.

What an indulgence! With a good selection of gelato/ice creams to put on/with/in/around various pastries (deliberately under-baked cookies, waffles, crepes), there's something sweet for every taste here.

I ordered from here a few weeks ago and was sent rubbery and tasteless waffles. For almost £12 for one waffle this is absolutely unacceptable and the chocolate shavings were sprinkled on and the chocolate sauce didn’t even cover the waffles. First time eating from them and the last unfortunately, very disappointed.

The service is poor , no table service and that’s unacceptable for this kind of place , the smoothies are made from a frozen fruit it tastes disgusting.

I paid for a ferrero rocher cookie dough but there was literally one ferrero rocher added to the dish (photo attached). We ordered two deserts and only got one set of cutlery. The cutlery we got was really badly dirty with crusted food on the fork. There was dropped desert mushed into the floor. Maybe understandable if it was busy but we were one of two tables there. There were at least 3 different members of staff on

The cookie dough I was served was raw/ undercooked, the ice cream portion was very tight and the price was dare considering these factors so I don't think I would revisit. Friends latte was served cold however was replaced after telling them but still not great.

I haven't been to dine in, but I have it delivered at least 2-3 times a month cause I can't get enough of it!😍🔥 Love their white chocolate cookie dough with some mint, strawberry cream or banana ice cream! Obsessed with their desserts and I'm going to miss it when I have to move 😭

We were seated and waited 20 minutes at the table before realising you had to order at the counter yourself. It didn’t state this anywhere and no staff told us this. We ordered and the food came one at a time so one person had nearly finished before the next received their food. The staff weren’t friendly and didn’t speak to us once even when bringing the food. Wouldn’t recommend

Distinctly average, over priced for what it was (I love a dessert restaurant and know it’s expensive for ice cream and cake, but it’s fun). 3 scoops of ice cream and a ton of squirty cream for £14? Chased up an item from our order after 20 minutes, when 4 out of 5 had been served to be told that item wasn’t available. Chose something else. 5/8 more minutes.. waitress returns with card machine as the replacement was slightly more expensive. Whatever. 15 minutes more until new order of ice cream and squirty cream for £14 arrives. If you’re in the notts area, get on the tram and go to Rassams instead.

You guys use the same plates you have been using for years and the same forks. It needs to be revamped I will be real. Had a fork that just looked dirty. The waitress picked it up with her hand with no tissue. Not sure they wash their hands frequently, or hair nets. Needs new people who care about customers and a hygiene rating, the shop is so big and never gets filled all at once

Ordered a sundae on Uber eats to share with my girlfriend. When we’ve had in the cafe they’ve been easily enough for two. Ordered one to share and received a small plastic cup that was half full, hardly a dessert and still cost £10. Really unhappy with what they sent, misleading picture on the app and not worth the money at all.

Had a Kinder Bueno white shake and whilst drinking it, I found a piece of plastic that came through the straw that I almost swallowed! Was given a refund but still not acceptable, will avoid in the future.

Lovely place, one dessert is enough to share between two people, unless you have a sweet tooth. It wasn't very busy, when we went on Saturday at 4.00 pm, plenty of seats, and the service was very quick.

I didn’t fancy the ice cream/gelato flavours much unfortunately. I tried the Pistachio flavour - it had a strong nutty flavour. The Caramel flavour was okay - not too sweet. This is just a personal preference of mine. Otherwise the staff were professional and quick.

While the place looks pretty awesome on the outside we found Kaspas pretty average. The service we received was really poor nobody actually spoke or said hello!!!! Once sat down we ordered on an app and again someone brought it out but didn’t even speak just a dull smirk and walked off. We wouldn’t come back based on £50+ for 4 deserts, no parking and a total lack of service from the team

Ughhh the desserts are so decadent and delicious, but it's definitely a once-a-month thing for me personally. I still taste the sugar and chocolate syrup from two days ago, which was oh so good, but yeah... Love the hot dough items!

This place was uncomfortably hot, I couldn't stay inside without sweating so bad I felt like I'd pass out. Had to sit on the step outside waiting for the kids. The food is lovely but the heat in the premises made it a completely awful experience. This place is DESPERATE for air conditioning!

Long waiting time and messy presentation. I am a regular customer and the presentation and quantity served has always been amazing. I went there on the 14/08/2023 and the staff were different from the previous ones. Looked quite inexperienced, they were busy chatting and laughing. They made us wait for very long despite having only few customers. The presentation was horrible and the amount was not worth the money.

The desserts weren’t really giving. The staff was just not interested. We were served our desserts, and two of us were given one fork and one knife. We constantly tried to call them, they’d look at us and avoid us.

My Ferrero Rocher was lush 😋 not sickly, & the chocolate waffle in the box was a freebie 😀 as the assistant didn't want it going to waste. Would deffo go again 😊

Came here with my family, and definitely won't be coming back. To begin with, the staff here are just the worst. I've never seen a restaurant before that had staff like this. Every single person working there (I promise you that this isn't an exaggeration. It really was every single person working there) looked and sounded like they were bored to death. Lots of visible sighs, checking watches, and complaining to each other about their jobs in front of customers. Ordered two bowls of ice cream and a smoothie. After being sat waiting for over half an hour (for food that you don't need to cook, and literally just scoop up into a bowl, it takes seconds!), I asked how much longer we were going to waiting, and our server came back to our table, and tried to tell us that we hadn't even ordered anything! After telling her to go and check again, she came and told us it'd be five minutes. Almost 20 minutes later, we finally had our order, after each person got their order with 5 minute gaps in between, so we couldn't even eat at the same time. I'm not even making a comment on the quality of the food, because with service this poor, it hardly matters.

We visited Kaspas on a short trip to Nottingham as it was near to our hotel. We were celebrating an anniversary and couldn’t be more impressed with the food. We ordered a sundae and cookie dough and they came fast. They tasted incredible and the portion sizes were more than enough. Kaspas is a great place for a special treat and the prices are affordable.

1st time of me coming to Kaspa's heavenly desserts with my friend & her girls. The Ferrero Rocher sundae was lush 😋 & the boxed chocolate waffle, l got free 😀 because the young lady who was serving said she didn't want it to go to waste, so l didn't have to pay for it 😀 The best things in life are free 😀 Would deffo dine back there again 😊

The food was lovely..that's where it stopped. The server was disinterested and I've never had my food thrown at me before. ( Except for certain times lol) Been there once and that's enough..never again

Staff are not very attentive at all and the lady taking our order walked away half way through us ordering then told us the total bill before we'd even finished ordering what we'd wanted. Cookie dough was very sickly but the milkshakes were nice, quite expensive though for £26.

Been a few times now, if only the service could be sorted out it would drastically improve the place. The menu is varied and interesting, the ice cream itself is great, the service is lacklustre. Deserts are drip fed to your table and take so long that one of your party has finished theirs (or it’s melted) by the time the last desert arrives. The server doesn’t even know what desert they are bringing to the table, and despite being aware of this, makes no attempt to determine what the 2nd, 3rd or 4th desert is either! Such a shame as this would be a fantastic family trip if it wasn’t for the terrible service.

Not sure why this place gets so many bad reviews.. went in April before going to the arena. It was empty going in but the staff clearly said you have to go up to pay (read a review that nobody took their order after being seated) Fudge cake and ice cream was delish and the skittles milkshake was great.. my wife enjoyed her bueno sundae and dime bar milkshake.. pretty decent and I would definitely look to return next time in Nottingham. Don’t believe all the bad reviews

ice cream tasted off. rocky road waffle is smaller than other waffles and didn’t fill us up at all. ingredients are probably about 5£ but we were charged 10£ for a waffle that’s smaller than the regular ones on the menu. never coming back again.

so we came here on the 14th of january. we came all the way from birmingham to have a good night in nottingham. disappointed with this place. We had a choc fudge brownie cookie dough and a white choc cookie dough. we found a hair in the fudge brownie cookie dough, when telling the man who was waiting on us, he took it to his "supervisor" very professionally however, we had no apology what so ever. she then came over to me and my friend in a rude manor and said there was nothing she could do as it weren't anyone's hair who was working there, bare in mind my friend is ginger, i am brunette and the hair was blonde 😂.... so when i asked to see a manager she said she was the only person to talk to ? a supervisor? being left in charge? with obviously no experience? doesn't know what she's doing? very unhappy to be honest, we paid £17 for this aswell. waste of money as we didn't continue to eat anything. and i would like to add, there were 2 girls who had blonde coloured hair, one with dark blonde and one with blonde highlights so we were lied to in order to satisfy their own needs.

Service wasn't good at all. We received our desserts different times with like a 5-10min gap. It wasn't even busy. A member of staff was looking to leave early as he tried to clear my plate before I was even finished. I had my nephew who's 7 years old and I felt like he was rushing us. They had a good 20 minutes before closing time also. Waffle it's self wasn't bad.

Desserts arrived quickly, plenty of staff around. Spacious seating and versatile menu. However atmosphere wasn't that great with the same advert playing on the TV when we were there for the whole duration loudly. The toilets were also not very clean.
