Super service and food from the younger generation here tonight. Prompt and polite staff, delicious food and......even clean toilets.....with SOAP ! Many thanks kids !

Milkshakes are outstanding, Sunny and Chaffy are great and have a top team. I come here regularly for my takeaway milkshake and safe to say still haven't come across a bad one.

we finally received the order 25 minutes late it was cold the icecream was melting and the cheesecake was missing, After ringing 4 times to finally get through I explained the situation to the lady on the phone she told me there was nothing they could do and told me to contact just eat for a refund, I refused this offer as I wanted the item I had paid for and not a refund, she told me there was nothing we can do and hung up! I called back again to be answered by the same girl saying hi, I replied hello is t she replied yes I thought it was you, I replied and said why did u hang up and she said I didn’t mean to, no apology nothing!! I asked to speak to a manager and she told me apparently they are on the telephone, I waited 10 minutes on the line to be hung up on again, 4 calls later the same girl picked up saying my managers still on the phone, I told her I would wait again, a few minutes later the ‘’manager’ Gumising (he told me his name was) said hi what’s the issue, I started by asking for his name and the girls names who I was just talking to he responded and told me he didn’t understand, I repeated myself several times and said could I take her name the girl I was speaking to yet again he continued to say to me I don’t understand, so I said leave it let me explain my concerns, as I went to explain he would not let me talk and kept interrupting me! I asked him if he was going to listen to my complaint but he refused and said I’m not interested!!! I replied a very angry comment and said why are u on the phone as a manager If u cannot understand bloody English!!!! I honestly in my 35 years of living ever ever rang a company and received such shocking attitude on the telephone!! The way the manager just spoke to me is actually horrendous!! Luckily I have all phone calls recorded! I’m totally obscured by this, a paying customer and spoken to like a piece of s**t! I have contacted head office with a formal complaint

There is nothing wrong with the taste of the food here but I hate it when a menu picture is not what you get, the ice cream portion in photos looks great but when served it is about a quarter of the size, when I mentioned this to the guy behind the counter he said we only have one size of scoop. It’s no wonder the place is empty as we will never go there again and will advise anyone we know never to visit

Clean tidy toilets spotless spoilt for choice hubby and daugher had a choc waffle with little moons and a ferrore roche I had strawberrys with white chocolate and ice cream daughter also had chocolate frappe hubby finished it off bit expensive but we had meerkat code nice as a treat staff lovely

This is only the second time I've been in here.. The last time was before lockdown, when we ordered coffee which was luke-warm. We complained and was met with a very curt reply, " we aren't allowed to make it too hot. Health and Safety!" We said we'd like it warming up but they refused. We came back today, as it appeared to be under a new name "Coffee Society" We had to pay an extra 60p per cup for oat milk, and again it was Luke warm. Had to order a pot of boiling water to warm it up ( which made it really weak. ) £8.45 for 2 drinks!!! Looking up, there were cobwebs everywhere, and it wasn't very clean. Never again.

Came for lunch with my girlfriend and her grandma, we called up the day before and tried to book a table for 2pm but were told we wouldn't be able to get a table booking until 3pm as they were booked up. (when we arrived there were only 3 other tables taken up in the large restaurant so we were unsure why they hadn't let us book any earlier as there was definitely space). We arrived at 3:10pm (10 mins late) due to grandma's mobility issues, we were apologetic for being late when we arrived and shown to our table, where the set menu was already on the table for us. As we sat down the waiter came straight over and told us we had to order immediately as the kitchen was closed and they would have to reopen for us but we had to be quick! Very surprising since there was no indication when we booked the day before that the kitchen would be shutting within minutes of our booking. The manager came up to our waiter and told him to 'get our orders in now and not mess around' whilst he was speaking to us and it all felt very hostile once we had entered - my poor girlfriends grandma didn't have time to even sit down and read the full menu before the waiter was rushing her, telling her he needed to take her order. We said the starters and mains we wanted and then I asked my girlfriend if she would like to get desserts or not, at which point the waiter told us desserts were not available! He then walked off without giving us a drinks menu or taking a drinks order from us. When the starters came I asked to see a drinks menu and get some water for the table but he never returned - we had to go to the bar to get drinks ourselves. Fortunately at the main course we had a new waitress who was lovely and she brought water over to our table. During the main course we heard the table behind us talking to the manager and they all ordered desserts, even though we had been told they were not available to us! When we had finished our mains the nice waitress came to take our plates and asked if we would like a desserts menu, we told her we had been informed desserts were not available and she was a little surprised by this and apologised. We paid the bill and left. Had it not been for the saving grace of the nice waitress we would have refused the service charge as the service we received prior to her arriving was abysmal. Very, very annoyed in particular by my poor girlfriends grandma being rushed by the waiter to order food before she had even sat down or had the chance to ask for a glass of water, not really acceptable to do to anyone but especially not a 90 year old. The bill was expensive for just a lunch but the food was good and the view is spectacular, the service just really let the restaurant down. Would not go back.

Went to go in for a kebab, the owner tried charging me 50p extra for salad (even though the menu said otherwise) when i brought the owner up on this the response i got was “i dont care” i have been a loyal customer for 5 years and will never go back, i would recommend people use pizzarella in hamworthy instead

As soon as I cut into the haddock I could smell that it was not fresh. A very pungent smell. My son’s haddock also had a very pungent smell. The chips had obviously been re-cooked . At a cost of £35 for the full 5 meals it can only be described as disgusting . I think that trading standards should make a visit to these premises.

I've been a regular customer to hortons over the years, but today's service was so bad I won't be using them again. I get a 45 minute lunch break.. 15 minutes of that was spent waiting to order because they had a family of 5 place an order before me and clearly couldn't cope with a group order. After finally ordering, 5 minutes goes by before I'm told they can't do my food so I said no problem I'll just have the milkshake then that I had ordered... another 15 minutes goes by and I still don't have my milkshake. At this point I have 10minutes left of my lunch break, so I proceeded to walk out and and quickly ordered some food from premier bites opposite. I never did get my milkshake from hortons or able to get a refund as no one was attending the till even after I had ordered and collected a hot panini from Premier bites... Hortons has gone down hill ever since the kids took over. On the other hand I can recommend premier bites opposite. Lots of love the RJ lift engineer.
