After hearing many positives reviews for the place we booked a table. When booking we mentioned we had two children. They don't have a childrens menu but we were told 'we are not in the habit of ripping of children and we can adapt accordingly'. We were charged £18 for 2 small 8 inch pizzas . What a joke. Daylight robbery and we won't be returning. Avoid if u have kids. If u think its reasonable to charge £9 for a tiny pizza for a 6 year old you really are deluded

Visit with friends who live in the area and all of us felt it would not be the only visit we will make there. It doesn't have the largest menu but we all had something different and all enjoyed what we had. Very tasty, not too expensive and a friendly atmosphere. Even chatted to the chef on the way out, he was interested to know if we had enjoyed the meal and wondered who had had the fish - it was a whopper but just fell off the bones. All had desserts which are from a changing menu.

WOW, we visited with friends, the food was outstanding, the staff were amazing tending to the needs of the toddler in our group who is lactose intolerant, they went above and beyond even giving her strawberries for pudding as they didn’t have any diary free ice cream (would be a good idea to stock this). We had the lunchtime special, any pizza/pasta and drink for £10 and I have to say it was AMAZING, my husband had the calzone and it was huge and soooo tasty, I had the penne with cream and fillet steak and it was so flavoursome, I would 100% recommended this restaurant and we will be returning very very soon

A lunch to remember for the quality of the pasta dishes, especially the fresh crab ravioli with tomatoes and asparagus in a cream sauce. The flavour was stunning and it was perfectly cooked. We went here one Friday dinner time and took advantage of the pizza pasta and drink offer. The chef welcomed us as we entered the building and we were seated by a friendly waitress. I chose pizza and my wife chose halibut pasta. Both dishes were tasty and filling, my wife said her halibut pasta was the best she had had. The pizza I had could have been cooked a bit longer as the outside was crispy but the middle was a bit sloppy. The bill with two glasses of wine was £20.

My wife and i went out for a mid-week dinner and chose to come here having been unable to get a table one Saturday. It doesn't look much on the outside but is comfortable and roomy once you get in. The menu is fairly usual for an Italian restaurant but no risotto, We has some tapas of olives and a Greek bread salad. The latter was fresh and together made an excellent starter. My wife chose a pizza which was as expected, I had the haddock in parma ham with a side of mixed salad. This was excellent. A large piece of fish wrapped in ham with a savoury sauce, nicely cooked and well worth the price. The Kasa Rosa is now on our regular places to eat.

I had halibut from the menu with it being mid-week and maybe not the most popular dish in an Italian, my expectations of it being fresh were fairly low. It was however very white and firm as well as delicious. In fact we 'nipped' in the week after and I had the lamb kebabs again it was superb. The service is very good and the fresh food good value. First time visit but we'll be back. Called in for lunch on a midweek day. Place is nicely decored and had a real bistro type feel about it. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and even though it was quite quiet (about 6 tables occupied) had a nice feel about it. We had the tapas special offer (3 for £12) plus one more, and they brought us some lovely warm crusty bread to go with them. The food arrived in about 10 minutes and all were hot in heat and served with warm plates - a real plus point. We had patatas bravas, peppered chicken, garlic mushrooms and king prawns all in lovely sauces - used the bread to dip up the sauces! Accompanied with a Moretti and a white wine this was a superb lunch. My wife had a plum crumble with custard for dessert - this took about 15 minutes to arrive but it was obviously freshly made and not frozen so worth the wait. Altogether the bill came to a tad under £29 - and they only charged the extra tapa at the lowest price - range from £3.25 to £5 so well pleased.Free car parking next door so no issues there. We'll definitely be back - the tapas were much better than the ones we had in Barcelona a couple of weeks ago! They also do pizzas, pastas and other stuff if you don't want tapas.

Called in for a family meal (6 adults) while visiting family in Leeds. Firstly I found it slightly strange to enter a restaurant from the street directly into the kitchen area before moving the seating area. As a group of six I much prefer to sit at a round table rather than a long one it makes for a better experience with friends, however I do appreciate this is not always possible in such a compact area as this restaurant. The tables are quite close and the noise, especially with two separate birthday parties going on, was quite intense. However the food was very good, two of our party had starters and main courses, while the other four, including myself, shared the tapas and all found the food really enjoyable. The rang of tapas was good but the remaining menu, although what I saw looked very good, seemed limited for a restaurant that lists such a wide area it draws its dishes from. That being said the food overall was quite good and the costs including drinks came in at just under £30 a head which is good value. Overall would I return well yes, it is one of the better of it's type in the area.

My first time visit for a special family birthday, and my last. We had booked a table for four for 7:30pm weeks ago and, when we walked in, we were ignored by the harassed looking waitress. A waiter came up to us some time later and said 'go upstairs and have a drink'. My daughter replied that we had booked a table for 7:30 and one of the party was disabled so couldn't get up the steep staircase. The waiter sighed, looked at the disabled person up and down, obviously disputing the person was in fact disabled, never asking our name, and took us to a table for four. We thought the restaurant must be busy, him asking us to have a drink upstairs, but in fact it was half full. We were given menus and he walked away. Not many vegetarian options unfortunately. A while later someone came and took our drinks order. We ordered our food which took 40 minutes for the starters to arrive; Two sharing a delicious cheesy garlic bread, and the other two having pate, both saying was divine. Main courses consisted of two having lasagne, one having calzone and the other having linguine primavera. All were really enjoyed, and piping hot. No one came to ask if we wanted any more drinks so when we flagged down the waiter who had initially taken us to our table somewhat reluctantly, he sighed and said I will get someone. Said someone came quite quickly. We were never asked if our meals were okay. The waitress was less than friendly and looked incredibly stressed and overworked. I think that's the problem; lack of staff. By the time we asked for the bill, around 10pm, the place was heaving. The bill coming to a hefty £100 for soft drinks and meal. Food is delicious but nothing special, especially for an out of town establishment.

I ordered fillet steak (medium) when it arrived it was "swimming" in a sauce & I immediately sent it back & asked for the sauce to be removed. My brother had ribeye steak & his also came with a lot of sauce. We both felt the sauce should have been served separately. We had mediterranean vegetables & peas/bacon the bacon was minute pieces & barely cooked. The steak was nice but in places I found it difficult to cut your knife should go through it like butter. For dessert I had the chocolate melt in the middle pudding which was delicious my brother had the cheesecake which was also very nice. The staff were very attentive & helpful. This small restaurant attracts a loyal following and that says a lot about the standard of the food on offer. Pizzas look attractive and pasta dishes were equally well presented. The menu would benefit from more vegetarian choices. In an age when even carnivores like vegetarian options the choices could be greater . That said the pasta with artichokes and pine nuts was excellent and would have you going back for more. The restaurant is unfussy in design and functional rather than comfortable but the provision of cushions helps with the wooden chairs. The restaurant has good lunchtime offers . The one thing they should change is the music . The owner has every song he owns on the system and lunch does not go well with some of the louder almost screaming numbers on there . The clientele didn't seem to be the sort to enjoy it . Even the waitress was pulling her face. But try this place and I doubt you will be disappointed .

Come here all the time for both lunch and dinner. No matter how busy or quiet it is, the quality in food and service is always fantastic. Tapas is beautiful, the tomato garlic bread is divine, the lamb is out of this world and the crème brûlée is something else.

Went for a wedding anniversary meal. Seen the good reviews and had booked. The food was OK but not at the prices charged which were comparable me to Leeds city prices. The service was sporadic, shown to the table whilst waitress talking to customers on the other table dumping menus on the table before we had sat down and leaving . Before we had a chance to order we were advised at what was off menu. On ordering the mussels which wasn't on the list of the 'off items' we were advised this was also unavailable. Disappointing.

I've been here twice now and enjoyed both visits. The first time i ate tapas and the second time i ate pizza. Both were really authentic and represented good value for money. I recommend this restaurant for a relaxed lunch.

We were back in Morley visiting our daughter and a return visit to Kasa Rosa was a MUST. We were lucky to get a table cancellation as otherwise we would have had to go elsewhere. Handy public carpark next door.Service as always was excellent and the food amazing. Lovely to see the chefs in action in the kitchens as we entered. The ribeye with black pudding was amazing as were the fish dishes - haddock and hake in particular. The specials board is always worth looking at. The wine list is varied and well priced. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Morley. You should try it!

Once again we visited this lovely restaurant in Morley for a birthday celebration. The food is always superb, especially the lemon meringue pie - we had jokingly asked last time we were there if on our next visit lemon meringue could be on the menu - we didn't expect it to be, but it was - and it was the best we have ever tasted. So many thanks to Alan's staff that made it.This restaurant is always popular, we really like the atmosphere - the staff are always welcoming and happy to do anything for you.It really is worth a visit to this lovely restaurant; hopefully it won't be too long before we are back again.

I feel very privileged to have this restaurant 200 meters away from my house. It's consistently great and my family, who are real foodies, love it too. There's a good range of affordable to expensive delights and a regular changing specials board. I could eat there everyday!

We love this place and have eaten here many many times over the years and have been very very impressed every time. The restaurant is very modern with a Mediterranean twist and the open kitchen greats you as you enter with amazing smells of freshly cooked food. Kasa Rosa gets rave reviews which in my opinion are fully deserved. One tip is book because the place gets busy even through the week.

Previous visit left being disappointed with quality of food and not value for money but believe in second chances! We eat out at least 3 times a month with steak being the preferred option of my husband's.We chose to go local instead of Leeds/Wakefield or further afield prior to a night out and on the back of reviews. We were disappointed that decent wine was only available by the bottle and not by the glass but the standard was good. From there, the experience went downhill. We were served by numerous waiters/waitresses, asked us for drinks order twice (no big deal) but ordered starters. One of the guests had to choose his third choice of main as run out of the others. It would have been useful to advise what had sold out when giving us the menu's.When the starters came out, we were offered a dish we hadn't ordered but then received the rest of the order minus on of the requested dishes due to a misinterpretation (asked for Aubergine parmigana and got zucchini tempura??!!).One of the party ordered marinated manchego cheese and was just sliced (looked like pre packed) cheese with oil on it. The starters were ok.We were asked who was having steak and were given steak knives for one of the guests to then have theirs taken away by the waiter, just before his steak arrived! One guest had pasta with duck, which barely had any duck in. My steak was ok, slightly under (but allow for some variances) but had better elsewhere for less than £23. The guest (with the now replaced steak knife) cut into his steak which was, quote, 'like shoe leather' to find it was cold to the touch inside (although asked for rare) which had obviously been cooked to quickly on too high he's and not rested sufficiently. He requested to return the steak to get the response 'You will only get the same again as that's how its supposed to be'. What happened to customer I always right? Especially since my steak was cooked better than his.He then said just to leave it (since we were all half way through our mains) & he would share some of his partners. The steak was taken away, along with his knife (again) so he had to request cutlery.10 minutes later, another waiter came with a chicken dish looking at us blank when we said hadn't ordered!!We were going to order more wine and desert but the experience so far hadn't been great and the lack of customer service when complaining gave us the impression that we were of no importance.Other diners seemed happy enough but looking around, they were eating pizza and tapas, so maybe this is their forte. The chef then came and sat with a table and was blatantly pointing the finger at us!We asked for the bill, got an indecipherable hand written bill which we had to clarify had not been charged for the wrong starter, main or steak we sent back.We entered prepared to spend a good amount of money but were made to feel unwelcome as were not 'regulars'. I have been to many restaurants both smaller and cheaper that serve better quality food and service. Will not been returning and the message has been passed onto to the rest of our foodie friends!!

We visited on Saturday 24 September, four adults plus one high chair. The place was packed on a lunch time, not one table free - glad we booked. We all really enjoyed our food, 3x pizza and 1x tapas. The child pizza was the same great quality just a bit smaller. I think this is our fourth visit and the head chef/owner has always been there, working in the kitchen or checking everyone is enjoying their food. Deserts were just sublime. Excellent food and service - no hesitation in recommending.

Will try the lunch time menu which seems very reasonable. Kasa Rosa will be very very hard to beat . Recommend unreservedly , you will not be disappointed.

Saturday early evening was the only time that we could get a table at this busy restaurant. As usual the place was buzzing. We both opted for the Merluza, but I didn't have it wrapped in ham accompanied by a fabulous house salad. For "afters" we had sponge cake with a small glass of sherry to pour over it.We always know that the food, service and atmosphere will be fantastic. Great little restaurant, easily located in Morley, well worth a visit if you haven't been yet. Already looking forward to going again in the next couple of weeks.

Visited for a birthday meal as a party of 5. This has got to be the best restaurant in South Leeds and a good contender for the whole city. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. It is a converted pub I believe so when it's full it can appear a little crowded, but not uncomfortably so.And it can get very busy, so I would advise booking if you don't want to wait or miss out altogether. The menu is mediterrainian rather than simply Italian and changes on a regular basis. I have never had an inclination to try tapas before but was persuaded and it was amazing. Not only is the food good but the level of service is excellent, on our first visit we were made to feel like valued regulars. I can't recommend this place highly enough and would compel anyone not living in the area to make the journey, it will be worth it.

Tapas are gorgeous, plenty of choice and the lunch time menu on certain days they do a special menu with any pizza pasta dish and a drink for£9.00. The food is well presented and tastes wonderful the staff are sociable and nothing is too much trouble. Will carry on visiting Kasa Rosa.

Best fried egg north of the Severn Estuary! Recently moved to Somerset but wanted to show off my Leeds credentials to my other half. Tribeca City Cafe fulfilled all expectations with a superb full English breakfast and coffees to match, all served promptly with refined professionalism. Had a friendly chat with the owner who definitely deserves your custom if you're anywhere nearby. If you can find your way to the magnificent Leeds Town Hall then this superb basement gem of a cafe is only a few yards away. Extra tables at street level also if the sun shines. You won't be disappointed!
