We revisited Kirkgate & made sure to stop at Karpaty. The prices have gone up so two filled breads cost us £3. We had the apple, as well as sweet cheese & poppy seeds. Fillings weren't overly generous & the breads were somehow less soft & chewy as they were last time, & seemed more dry, but they were still decent. We bought back a bundt cake with yoghurt which was quite nice & moist. We especially liked the flaked almonds on the top. Would be nice to return to try their other cakes in future.

Karpaty had a very dazzling selection of bakes on display so we were really excited when we spotted it. Got a custard pastry as well as a poppy seed & sweet cheese pastry to take home with us as we had already had lunch. They were £1.45 each or 2 for £2 so were great value! The pastries were massive & when we had them in the evening they were still very tasty, soft & chewy. There wasn't alot of custard or sweet cheese but they were still well flavoured & delicious. A really nice treat from a lovely bakery. We would be there all the time if we lived in Leeds!

Visited Leeds with friends and stumbled across this wonderful patisserie stall on Leeds Market. What do you choose from such a wonderful selection of breads, sweet pastries and delightful cream cakes that should grace any high end restaurant. Settled for a sweet custard pastry and then this amazing chocolate and vanilla cake. The sponge is absolutely as light as a feather and tastes divine. And as my review states ... this won't last long as it is do delish!

Ever so friendly and helpful, not only with what she was selling but advice of how to get to the main Polish supermarket. Had the almond ball coated with chocolate. Unusual but not bad in taste.

This is a very popular stall in Leeds Market, and it's not hard to see why. They have a huge range of beautiful bread, which is reasonably priced, and sliced if required. They do a lot of cakes and pastries too, but I've only had a jam doughnut! Service is excellent, and they are always very friendly.

We came for my birthday on Saturday, this place is very special. We were given a warm welcome and Prosecco and cake for my birthday which was a really nice touch. We had oysters to start, followed by roast duck. The food was amazing and the wine was great too. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion! Thank you for a wonderful night.

My husband and I regularly visit, really good food and great service. Make us feel really welcome. We are taking some clients in a couple of weeks and intend to spend plenty of time there over the Xmas break.

Had a few pints last night, service was good, thanks. Could and should be busier, like it used to be.
