Karen Country Cafe in South Kesteven

OK, hot and cooked well, good service for a one person show--clean and spacious place. Well set out with sturdy table and chairs

We have stopped at the café before for tea and cake and had been wanting to drop in for something more substantial for a while. For my part I should have just had cake as the cheese toasty I ordered was ONE very thin slice of bread which they had somehow managed to cut in half again and put some slivers of cheese into. £3.50 for this is outrageous. If it was my café I would have been too embarrassed to serve it. My dining partner did better with a couple of bacon rolls (served in burger buns) and some home made chips which were good. The food arrived in good time considering it was a busy Sunday morning. For us though it was a distinctly average visit.

Nice no frills breakfast. Sausages are tastless. Bacon lovely so are eggs but good value tasty brekky. Thank you

This has to be the most revolting Sunday lunch I've ever had in my life! All the vegetables are mush, they've been boiled to an inch of their lives then reheated in the microwave!! The beef had vein tubes in it! Absolutely no nutritional value in it what do ever! And had to wait 50 minutes for the pleasure! Table needed cleaning and the staff have friends just popping in and out the kitchen saying hello. Staff are rough and unhygienic. I've never left a review for anywhere this is my first time had to do it for this place to warn people how scummy it is.

well been long time waiting to get back hear and have a meal inside this very nice clean bright café want a good menu to choose from and fresh cook and brought to you nice and hot well there you go i review how we find them on the DAY OR DAYS We are at the places it is so good to back and yes we will be back soon

Visited this cafe on 15/8/20 as it's I pass it regularly and thought it could be handy. The cafe seems alright on arrival and was looking forward to trying the fare. There was only one customer in the cafe and after a wait of a couple of minutes a lady appeared in the kitchen door and asked if she could help. "Two cappuccinos please" I said politely. The reply was supprising as It was like a mother scalding a pestering child, and i was told to wait ten minutes as she was cooking a breakfast, then she walked off. The only customer was supprised and called to the staff member not to bother with her breakfast. I decided lo leave. I have contacted the cafe explaining this as they may have a reason for such behavior, but they have failed to reply. This is an honest review and my first bad review .

ok we are back but first i must tell you that you now have to book a table before you can use the Cafe due to the CONVID-19 and you are given a table it is a very nice clean place with a very good menu and the food is nice and hot and fresh wen it is bought to you Karen and her Friend are very nice and friendly we will be back soon P.S. want a very nice meal and a very clean place with well set out tables and chairs seating is in 4s 5s or 6s nice comfortable seats the food is cooked nice and fresh and well worth the wait they have inside and outside seating and it is just of the main road as the food is cooked fresh it comes to you nice and hot and well set out on the plates (ect) they also have carboots there as well

ok a very nice place very bright and well set out with tables and very commfy chairs the tables are set out in 4s 7or 8 a warm welcome awaits you with great nice fresh hot food the tea or coffee (ect) comes to your table with sugar added if you want it the food menu has a good choice to choose from I Awared this very nice clean Cafe A Excellent Marking

so if you are stopping in Tallington for a break or to strech your legs (ect) well look for the sighn Karens Country Cafe a very well set out place both inside or eating out very dissabled friendly and you are sure of a very warm welcome and very nice and cleen place with great food and it comes to you nice and fresh and hot well worth the short wait i tell yoularge carpark WELL WORTH A VISIT I SAY please give it a try you will be back

well we out on the road and i wanted a very nice change so found our self near to Tallington and what better cafe for a very nice warm welcome a very good car park and you can if you like sit out side inside a very nice clean place set out in tables of 4 6 and maybe one with prob 8 or 9 seats together the staff very nice and the food cook fresh and so very worth the wait it was not untill today we found a better way in through the door and sorry but if you had to you could get a wheelchair in great food great place great staff i give this very clean nice cafe a EXCELLENT marks p.s. we will be back

Karen the owner is a smashing COOK she’s always willing to accommodate & adjust things for the kids add extras where needed As I have very fussy children 👀. Also the Sunday dinners are to die for All homemade

Good value for money, you get what u pay for as its fresh hot and tasty going tomorrow for Sunday lunch.

ok a first for my support worker and i it is a very nice little clean cafe not very good though for dissabled people as it as a very high step at the entrance i struggled to get up it and after the meal get down inside the tables are long and some have around 6 or 7 chairs round them the food is very good and hot it is coockt fresh so there is a wait but that not a prob as can sit at the tables or chat looks like the owner is a MAN U FAN as it as memmobealior on the walls SUNDAY LUNCH CHICKEN PORK BEEF only £7.95 DESSERT FROM £1.50 12 - 4 3
