Have been a few times and ordered takeaway. Delicious every time. It's a casual place and service can be patchy depending on time of day you go but if you're in the area it's well worth a try. I love the lamb beyti garlic kofte!

There is no special reason to go here, but if you are in the neighbourhood and want an average Turkish meal, Karbon will do nicely. Pleasant service, large helpings. Meze starter, kebab main, drinking modestly cost us about £28 a head with service.

My partner and I have had our eyes on this resturant for a while as we live around the cornor. It looks appealing with an outside area which looks as though it would be nice to eat in the sun. When we finally both had a day off to go, we placed our order and then food portion looked as though it was from a childs menu. When we asked why there was so little food (no more than a tablespoon of rice literally) we were told that they aould check with the manager if we could have some more to which we were told ‘no’. When we then mentioned this again we were told ‘that’s how it is’ and the chief was stood over the counter staring at us across the resturant. They then agreed to bring over more rice and to be hobest we were past the point of caring by this point but it was insulting. A sourcer of rice with again nothing more than a tablespoon between two. We then said we were completely unsatistfied as it is in no way cheap and left- without paying. So if you’re expecting an adult sized portion then don’t bother- although the girl who served us was lovely and embarrased it was simply out of her control and she said there was nothing she could do to help.

Enticed by the alluring charcoal grilled meat smell we stopped and had dinner on the way to Sainsbury’s. Huge portions masses to eat , we took a doggy bag home and made a curry for the next night’s dinner. Very friendly staff , great value!

The kebabs are a cut above the usual grilled meats you get in bog-standard kebab shops, proper authentic Turkish kebabs, the doner is made from layers of real lamb, not the horrible weird dry meat that is served in so many other kebab restaurants in London. Likewise, the shish are other meats are delicately spiced and chargrilled to perfection. The bread is delicious too, as are the salads and the chilli sauce is amazing, homemade with a wonderful flavour. Portions are very generous and everything is very good value for money. The staff are really friendly and helpful to boot!

Have walked past here many times since moving to the area and the smell from outside is amazing so we decided to give it a go last night whilst doing some work. Service was pretty friendly but really slow, it was 45 mins after our plates had been taken that my boyfriend leaned inside and asked if we could get another beer and got the bill too otherwise who knows how long it would’ve been. The food itself was ok, but didn’t reach anywhere near expectations. I guess I thought as it has an actually nice sit down area that the food would be better than a standard kebab takeaway...it was less greasy but that was about it. Same cheap chips that people usually only eat on a drunken night out. It was very filling so the portion sizes were generous which is nice. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing as someone was brought a plate of something which looked pretty nice, but my wrap was average at best. Wouldn’t return unless it was for a last minute takeaway.

Surprisingly busy on a mid-week lunchtime for this type of establishment and glad we joined the tables of office workers. Good choice of food for vegetarians and food was both well cooked and tasty. Sizeable portions and nice Turkish Tea. Service was a little slow but staff were friendly. More to this place than a late night kebab and would go again.

Place looked decent enough so took a chance and ordered chicken salad ... unfortunately there was a short black hair hiding under a lettuce leaf... when I pointed this out to the waiting staff, I didn’t get so much as an apology. He simply took it away and (I hope) re-made the salad. Service was slow. On the upside food (without the added extra of hair) was actually ok.

When this place opened, we were a little unsure of what quality of food we would be getting. The quality of the meats is superb everything is cooked in front of your eyes on a giant barbeque and it is worth every penny. The flat breads are also cooked on the barbeque but it goes soggy very quickly. Each kebab of meat or fish is accompanied by a fresh, mixed salad, rice or chips, a pot of tzatziki and a pot of tomato salsa. A good tasty substantial meal. The menu also features barbequed fish plus the usual hot and cold mezzes and dolmades. Vegetarian meals are also on offer. This is a good and popular addition to Salusbury and getting ever more popular.

My partner and I recently moved to the area. We had the food to takeaway first and ordered what we wanted from the owner. It was great and so we thought we would come back on my birthday for dinner and eat in. We ordered the same we had previously had to take away and they got this wrong twice before we got what we ordered. Obviously it took a long time to eventually get our order. We then got the bill and had been over charged, they went back to correct it and came back still over charging us, by which point I just wanted to leave so paid. Don't get me wrong the food is really good but the service was appalling and we had no offer of compensation for the situation but in fact paid more. We really like to support local businesses but after this I cant see us coming back any time soon.

This is a fair sized restaurant with outside seating over which there is a canopy for smokers! They have a barbecue grill which you can see. Service was very average and noted no service charge on the bill. Perhaps they should make a point of this so staff are incentivised to give for attentive service and will be encouraged and benefit from cash tips. Notices that they only accept credit cards for orders over £5. Food was very average and the Astana Kofte we had was in my view made from poor quality meat and nowhere as good as exactly the same offering by Lokanta on Westbourne Grove, Queensway. They have draft beer as well as a choice of bottled beer and wine.
