Delicious, better than any food truck, it is very simple and basic but the food is delicious and the service is very good. The Lord of the top and the grill is A1, I recommend it

Not good AT ALL. I used Uber Eat to order and when I got the food, It was cold and I am a hundred percent certain that it wasn’t freshly cooked as well! The Shawarma had no taste, so does the fries and you can tell from it look that it was possibly cooked that 2 days ago. So disappointing NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN

Not even gonna lie to y'all. 10/10 all around. The place is a little run down but the food isn't and that makes it worth the visit. Hummus? Amazing! Fries? Crispy! Shawarma? Best I've had. It's a biweekly stop now.

Adored this Arabic cafe! Exceptional food and service. They offer a delightful mix of Turkish, Greek, and Arabic cuisine. The lady serving us is both professional and kind, making the experience attentive and easy to enjoy. The outdoor ambiance is cozy, perfect for late-night gatherings with friends and family. Plus the prices are exceptionaly fair. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food, great service! Best kept secret!

Everything about this place is excellent! I highly recommend the Turkish Eskander Platter and Gyro Platter or wrap. In spite of it being Christmas, the service was very quick and receptive to our needs (the food came in 6 minutes)! Will definitely be coming again.

Price is very good and the shawarma is filling I tried the shawarma mix beef and chicken and it's amazing , fries too

Incrediblely delicious! I had the gyro with lamb, wife had a Turkish wrap. We also had fries and hummus. Everything was super delicious. This place is very clean and has great outdoor seating. Nur was our waitress and she ROCKED!!! She is multilingual, a customer service pro, and very informative about the Houston scene. Come here for some great food and hookah.

I loved the food, it was good to chill In Houston and eat Middle Eastern shawarma.

My husband and I came here for lunch. The food was great and everyone was nice. It was quiet and we were the only customers, but don’t let that scare you off. They were still filling to go orders ;) I got the Chicken Shawarma Platter and Tabbouli Salad and they were perfect. We will be back in the future.

I love trying new Mediterranean food wherever I go. I’m so glad I stopped here the food was flavorful and the tzatziki reminded me of the tzatziki I tried while I was in Qatar.

Outside deck was quite dirty with trash all over. Food was okay. 18% tip for what?

I love this place! The food is so good! It’s such a great hidden gem so low key and the hookah is amazing! Every time I’ve visited it’s been outstanding service!

Don't be fooled by its humble appearance. What they lack in ambiance they far exceed in terms of food taste and quality. Found them originally through uber eats (they're open late), presently surprised by the taste and quality of the fare, and finally had the pleasure to come by in person. Well worth a trip if you're looking for a no-frills, simple, tasty, mediterranean joint.

We have ordered 2 different shawarma 1 was beef shawarma and other was mix shawarma. Both was amazing. It was filled with flavour meat was perfectly cooked pickle salad sauces everything was perfect. There was lady on the counter I forgot to ask her name but she was too good with her customer service. I will definitely visit again with my family and recommend to my friends.

Delicious, low key mom and pop place. Everything was extremely fresh, with the best ingredients. Very friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. My Mom is visiting from abroad and she had not had this cuisine for years, we both really enjoyed our experience here. The hummus especially is out of this world!

Underrated and open late. Their chicken tenders are surprisingly really good. Service and people are nice. Avoid the Adana Kabab though (better options out there).

I have to admit I hate to write this review because I really wanted to like this place. I stopped here after a doctors appointment in the area and had read all the good reviews, so I was excited to try them. The lady was very nice when I placed my order. I ordered the beef shwarma plate and the stuffed grape leaves. The rice was actually hard in the grape leaves, I have never experienced that. Not even with the ones I get from Phoenicia. There was no juice, no moisture in them beyond the wetness of the leaves themselves; I could actually hear myself crunching on the rice. The beef shwarma was dry as well and lacking flavor, the best thing about this $18 meal was the french fries. I won't be returning.

We have eaten here twice and love it. Good selection of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean dishes, and very nice quality. Comfortable patio area (we only eat outside since the pandemic), and good service.

Their food is delicious. And the service was excellent. My wife had the flatbread pizza for the second time and I had a shawarma plate which was off the hook. Being this is so close to home will be dining there often.

Wow!! My husband and I were out late in the area and had anticipated going to Niko Niko but were turned away at the door because it was 10 minutes after closing time. So, we decided to come here instead and we were HIGHLY impressed. The food was wonderful. I ordered chicken shawarma and my husband got a traditional gyro. We also ordered spicy hummus and tzatziki sauces. They were delicious and our 2 year old agreed! My husband also ordered tiramisu and Turkish coffee, and my son got rice pudding. We were so happy with everything we ordered, and we will definitely be back. This place is better than Niko Nikos! And the staff is spectacular. The woman who served us was from Turkey, and she is amazing!!

A great Spot to fullfill your late night cravings. The best items I had so far are Falafel appetizer, Mix Shawarma Wrap, gyro wrap, Lemonmint drink & Carrotcake + Tiramisu. I am always warmly welcomed by their employees and I like that they stay late open it is optimal for me to arrive after work and get my fixes.

I can't imagine any other Shawarma place than this spot. Very cozy and lovely. I adore their Falafel , hummus and cheese rolls and my favorite sandwich is the chicken shawarma. Plus their hokkah with many flavors is a heaven on earth. You gotta try it and experience it for yourself

If not for the freeze of 2021 I might never have tried this place out. One of a scarce few places open and serving when most had been without hot food for days. Despite the circumstances, the food was so tasty that I've been back almost weekly since. Best falafel and gyro I've had in town. Definitely try the homemade desserts! Generous portions of everything at a great low price, and the owner is a very kind and friendly person.

AMAZING!!! Wonderful experience. The atmosphere is so laid back and comfortable, and the food is amazing. I had chicken shawarma and the person I was with has the Greek gyro, and it was perfect. We also had hummus and it was perfect. Very authentic food. The best part though was the customer service. Noor was our server and she was sooooo friendly, kind, and helpful. The hookah is awesome as well. I 100% recommend this place.

I definitely recommend the mint lemonade and kibbeh! Loved their lentil soup also but wasn't available when I was there ☹ (it might be a special request item; I will add that staff offered to prepare some but I declined b/c I was pressed for time). Nur, the manager, is very personable. I hope to dine-in once the pandemic is better contained. You will not regret choosing this restaurant! Well seasoned and on point!!!

Being from the Middle East and knowing exactly what a shawarma tastes like, the beef and chicken shawarma were no where close to what is served here. We came to this place with high hopes but both the food and service was poor and on top of that we were charged 15% tip and food tax!!! who charges food tax??!! The place was unhygienic, the service was not good, the girl who attended to us was always in hurry to serve us and pick up our plates; and the food was not upto our expectation. We are never coming back to this place.

Chicken Shawarma meat marinaded and cooked very well. Too much garlic sauce. Place run down Poor decoration Bad exhaust fans and ventelation. Smoke stains over ceiling. HVAC Intake louver looks clogged with dark dust and stuff. No attention paid, at all, to neatness and appeal. Poor lighting, wall colors، electric wire، furniture، etc.

To be my first time at Shawarma Grill & Cafe the food that was ordered was a little cold and the place is compact to eat in, we were kinda kicked out to make room..but any how, Thanks Shawarma Grill & Cafe for serving us people in the 2021February blackout in Houston Texas..u were a life saver to each & one of us who went to go eat ur hard cooked served food...👍

Food was great, we loved the sandwiches, pizza and desserts. Coffe was great! Good atmosphere for families with kids. Were set out and enjoyed on pattio! We will definitely be going back!

Just tried to order food from this place and they have posted that they are open till 1am. Yet they would not accept my order because they closed the kitchen at 11:50pm. So why advertise that you’re open till 1am and display your menu with food and make people believe you can order till that time.
