Love this place. Kebabs are the best around.

The food is amazing, is a must try . I haven’t have such great food in a while around this the area. Excellent service, waiters very friendly and patient. The place is clean and a calm atmosphere. We will be back for sure !😊

Tasty food. Abysmal service. Spilled hot tea all over us in a rush and basically ignored it until we mentioned. Pretty good meat dishes made in the open kitchen. Probably best to get takeaway from here, saves the staff from actually having to engage in social interaction.

Don’t bother coming here for Ramadan/ iftar as they don’t have a prayer room and the staff were laughing when asked about it. We asked to speak to a manager about the prayer room, they said there’s no manager. Everything feels off. The vibe isn’t that good. How are you serving halal food when you’re also serving alcohol. Makes no sense to me.

Don’t bother find somewhere else . The prices are also expensive . I was feeing a mocktail but round £8! For 1 mocktail . Absolutely a rip off .

The number 1 Turkish restaurant. From the sumptuous food to the vibe and decor, a truly remarkable place for the best authentic Turkish food. The kebabs particularly are simply too good and you must visit Alkis. You’ll be coming back for more and more.

Without doubt, this is the best Turkish restaurant in the local area, no other restaurant can beat it, they do not even come close!! Service here is excellent, I actually think the chef delivered to my door this evening as he had a black cooking apron on! The food is simply delicious, the portions excellent, always fresh and tasty, I highly recommend!! The grilled meats are always soft and succulent, lovely salads, and a fast delivery service! Normally around 30-40 mins so at least you know it is being cooked fresh and properly, unlike other restaurants!!! As Tina Turner would say.... 'simply the best!!' :)

Amazing food deceide to have the mixed grill combo 1 , the food was freshly cooked. Lamb was surprisingly delicious and tender along with the chicken. The lamb chops was so amazing, great drsserts also

One of the best restaurants on this burnt oak broadway colindale strip. The staff is extremely warm and friendly. The service is great and the food is top notch. Loved the chicken Kofte Kebab and baklava. Elif and Bilal are amazing hosts!

My family and I love Alkis, amazing restaurant that is great value and keeps everyone happy ❤️ from the generous meat sharing platters to the gorgeous breads and Sigara Böreği. The staff are so attentive and the decor is modern moorish style.

Visited for Mother’s Day as a table of five and it was horrendous. The service was so painfully slow and they definitely weren’t prepared to be busy which is mad because most people probably booked ahead so they should be ready. Starters arrived before the very simple drinks, the food then took over an hour to arrive and everything was so slow, the chips we ordered with the meat platter then didn’t arrive until we had already finished our dinner so we sent them away because it was pointless. We then ordered pudding but when it didn’t arrive for 45 minutes we cancelled it, paid and left. Food was okay, service was very poor.

Delicious, varied, no long wait

I ordered chicken doner for take away, when I opened it at home it was a mix of lamb and chicken, I’m actually willing to let it pass because maybe it’s an honest mistake but the amount of chicken is only about 2 spoon full sprinkled on the top and the rice is 3/4 full of the box. I did not bother to bring back because it’s raining but I will never buy here again!

I had dinner here for my birthday meal yesterday and it was lovely. The food was soo good and the waitress serving me was so friendly and welcoming. She even got me a little treat at the end of my meal with a candle and they played a little birthday song.

I think the value is slightly over priced for what it is but, workers are polite and serve at a highly level. Food is good, only thing I don’t like is the lamb doner. Lamb shish and chicken shish is very good.

We have been going to Alkis and ordering from here for years. Staff are really friendly and nice. They cater well for my sons allergies. They have a good selection of food, wraps are tasty, the kofte is delicious, love their rice pudding, actually never had anything that's not good. Would highly recommend here. Prices are a bit higher than before, but worth it.

Alkis is our favourite spot. The food is amazing, especially the lamb shish, and the service is top-notch. It's where we go to make memories with friends over great food and drinks. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out!

Absolutely love this place, the staff are always welcoming and friendly nothing is to much for them. Food is lovely and fresh, attended a birthday dinner with a large group. They are family friendly and just all round lovely!

I love their Donner kebab and I personally think it's the best in London as they respect your wishes too as you want to eat. I like my meat well done cooked and they always fulfill my wish

Disgusting service. I was treated with disrespect when arriving to this restaurant. I was told I was not allowed to eat there, as I was in my gym clothing and that other customers would not want to eat there if I’m sitting in. When I asked to speak to the manager he disappeared in the back, even though I could see him I was told he’s not there 😂.

Great kebabs, I can't understand people that go to McDonald's, Starbucks all those American with over plastic food. Kebabs are the best

I've been a long customer of this shop but today will be the last time I will purchase food from them . The quality of the food was not an issue. It's not hard to mess up a burger and chips. When arriving in the shop, I was not offered any seating then once the food was ready I was not allowed to eat there. However the restaurant was moderately seated, so there were customers inside and more enough seating for me. I'm not sure what possessed the man to do this. He was a short man with glasses, extremely rude. I believe he may be the owner . This happened in November, so once I was told I was not allowed in, he cheekily told me to eat outside . At that point , I decided I better cut my losses. I am appalled by the service today. Do better for future customers please!

The owner is Rude, no customer service at all. Shame we used to go to the restaurant, today for the first time went to order take away, misunderstanding in the order, and he didn’t handle the complain with professionalism at all. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Not talking about the food here just customer service.

Disgusting 🤢 I will start with the floor which was sticky and dirty but i pass this The menu it was a little bit dirty and not in good condition the waitresses was rushing us and irritated but I was hoping the food it will be good but in the end when I ordered a cream soup it come with a strand of hair I wasn’t use the toilet but i don’t think it will surprise me with something “amazing “ That was all I wanted to say 👍

Food is hit and miss! Sometimes its great. Other time it can be disappointing. Inconsistent! Amount of times staff forget to deliver my order correctly is beyond belief! I find myself paying more than what I am getting.😫. Not good. A lot of room for improvement there.

Went here for our wedding anniversary with wife and kids, lunch time service on a week day during the summer holidays. The food was delicious, ordered the share plater mixed grill for 6, inlcuded hot and cold mezze, also ordered halloumi cheese and squid rings. Was also served complimentary salad, dips and fresh bread. The grilled meat was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were very generous. The staff who served us were very attentive from the moment we were there and very friendly throughout. We had a very pleasant experience and would definitely return sometime soon with the family.

Lovely clean big restaurant! Great attentive staff, food cooked to perfection. Also a decent drink menu compared to other places. This is our goto for this cuisine, a family favourite. Both veggies and carnivores happy.

I recently visited Alkis Turkish restaurant to eat in, and I must say I am also disappointed with the significant pricing discrepancy between eating in and take away (this issue has been raised by other customers). The eat-in price for a falafel was £12.50, while the take-away price was £7. In my opinion, for exactly the same product as I have had take away from this restaurant on many occasions When I raised my concern to the owner, I was met with defensiveness rather than understanding approach. His explanation that they include more hummus in the falafel when you eat in, failed to adequately justify such difference in price. This, despite his own claim of aiming to provide the best value for money without sacrificing quality. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience due to the pricing discrepancy and lack of the owner to acknowledge or address the issue. The owner has had a fair chance to address this point as previously raised by his other customers aslo on google review. Finally, I hope that my feedback helps the restaurant make necessary improvements to ensure a better experience for all customers.

Nice Turkish Restaurant We got a takeaway Portions were generous Price was average roughly £10 each person Service was great the guy who served me really ran around making sure all the food was ready at the same time. They also take credit cards unlike so many locally. Will go back👍🏻

Once was best!!, now lacking in flavour, though the size is still OK!. Ordering on web site seems to be the best way, for now! Costs as you might expect have increased, shame about the flavour!!!!

Very bad the pitta bread ripped in pieces chicken not cooked probably. For the money definitely not worth it happened more than 4 times now

Nice place and kind staff, food is amazing.

The quality and quantity of the food portions has gone down. We used to drive for an hour as this was our favourite, sadly, not a good value for money anymore.

The Lamb Chops are good however they charge 19.50 if you eat in and 16.00 for takeaway!

Beautiful Turkish restaurant. Recommend the sea bass and lamb chops

The first visit was magnificent, but the second one was really bad in terms of food quality, service and atmosphere! Ordering online was even worse 😞

I was very disappointed with the food. Having saw a lot of good reviews I thought to check this place. I had lamb chops, they were dry and bland… and the Turkish dips and sauces were very bland too, chilli sauce was like water. The food is not authentically Turkish in terms in flavour … if ur looking for Turkish flavours, this is not the place. There are definitely better Turkish places that take pay attention to their cooking. They could serve bigger salad portions too given I paid £19.50 for the main course.

Food was wonderful. The restaurant is so so clean and everyone is personable and friendly. Everything is freshly prepared. Thet top up the appetiser constantly.

It's not that there is nothing wrong with it, its just not worth it, a doner mix kebab would stretch you back nearly £20 all because the place has a few fancy LED lights, given the current climate a solid £20 will be better off as half a tank for your car than a standard mix kebab that you can get for usual £8....

Amazing food and the service excellent

This takeaway can never be a quality restaurant. Too use to the rush around, they lack the customer care and decency, my partner was told he was being looked after but the guy seemed really annoyed he requested to add something to his order. It's weird behaviour for an establishment who needs customers to behave this way. Also the kofte tasted very disgusting and smelt like field fertiliser made from horses, I won't be eating here ever again and I recommend others do not eat here too.

Takeaways food quality always good, just takes a while for delivery

Look, it's a great place to eat or to order a takeaway from. Great reputation, great food, great taste, great service. In the famous words of Schwarzenegger's Terminator, "I'll be back".

Though the food is frozen not fresh it its seasoned beautifully and cooked very well the rice is also very old tasting and hard hut has that proper turkish taste, it was very tasty and very chewy but the taste was so good i forgive the chewiness

Did not liked the service, ordered for two people, they sent me a meal for one person, he said two of everything , a hair on the food on a dessert 🤮s, I should take a picture , was really disappointed ! , when I ate in the restaurant I was served better than that , I payed with my money it wasn’t free in addition I was fasting all day to be served like that , my kitten 🐈‍⬛ enjoyed it, I’ll never order from Alkis anymore, that’s a shame!!!!

I'm their customer for 5 years. The food is yummy, and I never eat lamb ribs in my life cuz I didn't like how the lamb taste it. One night I've tried from my husband lamb ribs, and since then I ate only this. So juici and yummy, I never thought I will ever eat lamb. Is my favourite place since that day, the stuff is friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend it this restaurant 👌

AVOID!! The man (Who seems like the boss) is extremely rude he has no customer service skills! Was shocked when I was charged extra for lettuce on my kebab, then when I asked for something else he done a massive *Sigh* then rolled his eye. The food was very pink inside and basically empty. 1st gain manners & stop looking through people & seeing £ signs, i’ll never go there again plus advised my staff at Mercedes & KIA to avoid!

Wonderful place for dinner, service was exceptional they went above and beyond to accommodate my friends and I on our monthly get together. Food was perfect, atmosphere was great. I’m a regular customer and food is always good! Their bread is just the best! It’s also so cheap compared to other similar restaurants.

Really nice family friendly restaurant, comfortable seating, warm and very friendly staff. The service was fast and great. The food was great, all the meats, salads and sauces was delicious. The lamb iskender was saucy, succulent and delicious, the mix grill was perfectly cooked and kids loved their food. Just over £80 for a family of 4 is a little bit pricey but could be the new norm. Parking is an issue but the side roads after 4pm is free.
