Este es el lugar para el café, yo juzgo los lugares en lo bien que se puede hacer un buen cortago y este es siempre el mejor café, ha sido uno de los favoritos desde hace muchos años, muy recomendable.

Decent coffee. Annoyingly 40p for alternative milk options which is unreasonable so won't return in a hurry.

As a big fan of the coffee shop on The Calls, I visited this location today with my sister who had never been. The woman who took our order seemed completely oblivious, we were sat for over 10 minutes waiting for our drinks while people who ordered after us got theirs. Bear in mind that there were only 2 other groups in the cafe at this point. Eventually we just went to the till and said we’d been waiting ages and hadn’t received our drinks. The man (who we later heard tell someone he was the manager) didn’t say anything, then the woman who took our order went “Oh I forgot”. Not “I’m sorry”. A few minutes later she brought them over, again with no apology. My drink was OK but my sister said hers tasted like water. We left pretty quickly and the manager stared us down as we did. Terrible experience, you’ve lost two customers!

I came here as I had seen some really positive Google reviews and I wanted to try out their drinks and also grab something to eat. When I arrived, there were zero vegetarian savoury brunch options. So decided to try something light instead. I went for the matcha latte and caramel brownie. The latte was given to me luke warm and taste of the latte was bitter, even with sugar in it, I have had matcha tea before, it is not meant to be bitter. The caramel brownie was unpleasantly and extremely sweet, I couldn't finish neither the drink nor the brownie. I sat upstairs as their was no seating available downstairs, which quickly became filled with big groups all crowding around 2 small tables, that I felt uncomfortable so I left. I can't comment on how good their coffee is but everything else was astonishingly disappointing for me.

The best place for high quality coffee made by people that know what they are talking about. Leeds has a few fantastic coffee shops but standing far above all the others is Kapow. If you have a love for coffee this is a place to visit. Can't recomend them enough.

This place serves the best coffee in the city. I need to fill 100 characters but don’t have much else to say. Cakes are really great too but go for the coffee.

I go in here regularly. The shop looks great, the coffee is great (no matter who I go with they remark on this) and the staff or really nice. Those of us who like to ask nerdy questions about coffee (for example to buy some for a gift) will tap into the extensive knowledge of anyone who works here.

I was in Leeds recently to see the Allington Show at the Leeds Art Gallery and a bit of well deserved retail therapy for my fabulous wife. Mid afternoon caffeine called and we happened upon this small but well found coffee shop in Thorntons Arcade. I loved the name as I think of Leeds as "Gotham City', a reference to how Leeds was referred to in music fanzines of the 1980's and 90's when I spent a lot of time in the city. Service was polite, quick and efficient and the coffee was properly prepared and made. What good coffee it was too, clearly good beans and staff that knew what they were doing. The quality caffeine fix was augmented with a splendid Peanut Butter Blondie. This was one of the best cups of coffee I had on my recent Yorkshire 2020 road trip. I set a high bar for coffee, having spent some of in Seattle in 2019. Kapow's high quality coffee and its ambience would not have been out of place in Capitol Hill or Pike Place! I''ll definitely be back when in 'Gotham' again!

Great little spot in the middle of town for a really good coffee. Currently not suffering from being overcrowded like many other Leeds coffee shops which makes it a great little spot for a drink. Some nice brownies to round it all off.

Primera visita a Blinok Pancake House en Guiseley. Definitivamente volveré. Personal amable. Limpio y cómodo. También fuera de los asientos. Perros permitidos. Pedí el panqueque Blinok (plátano) y sabía tan bien como parecía.

Positives- small but quirky .friendly staff . Clean and quick service Negatives- way overpriced. fried egg like a plastic keyring egg. Bacon dryed shrivelled up .toast burnt with little to no butter. coffee cup half full . Not good enough for the money . I can only give this 5/10

Pub and bar hopping around this part of town my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Greggs to grab a quick bite to eat and what a good call. Typical Greggs outlet, neat and tidy, all goodies prominently on display and ready nice staff . We were here on a Thursday afternoon, I opted to have a couple of sausage rolls, my brother opted to have a couple of pieces of pizza 🍕, service was quick and price inexpensive, we ate are snacks outside and planned out what pub to visit next . My sausage rolls were perfect, I think they're the best sausage rolls in the United Kingdom but that just my opinion, my brother also gave me a thumbs up to his pizza slices. This Greggs is to locate along Merrion Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 8am till 6pm. Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and feeling peckish.
