Kanchans Rasoi in Newham

Very delicious and hearty meal freshly cooked. Thoroughly enjoyed and the service excellent. Definitely visit again.

We went to Kanchans Rasoi on Romford road, for the 2nd time. Three of us from family. Food was of an excellent taste, authentic. Malai kofta , paneer makhani and methi chicken was very tasty. Sumptuous portion too, will definitely go again.

Kanchans Rasoi! What a lovely restaurant! I went there with my mum and dad and have been going for ever since I can remember! The only thing I like to eat there is Butter Chicken mainly because I haven’t tried many other things! The interior decor is MARVELLOUS! Upon my most recent visit, Nayan (Manager) gave me and my sister ice cream that was in little toy ducks! (Picture included) My parents try other dishes on the menu and they are finger-lickingly delicious! The service is second to none! The decor is delightful. Overall, it is a perfect restaurant.

He estado visitando Kanchans Rasoi, Romford Road durante aproximadamente 25 años. La comida siempre es muy sabrosa, un servicio brillante y el excelente personal de cocina ha sido el mismo durante años. Llevamos a nuestros amigos allí y tenemos muchos platos para llevar. Me and my family visited the restaurant and were disappointed with the malai kofta dish. It was extremely tangy and didn’t taste right. The customer service by the manager was excellent, however we found the interior decor very poor and found that there were lots of flies inside the restaurant.

Went with friends expecting good food, Sorry to say not what I had before, standards are low , food quality was not what I had before . Not comparable to their other Resturant in Gants Hill . Over all service was ok as the Resturant is small . But a disappointing evening ,food was below par ,sadly.

We are regular visitors here and always enjoy our food, usually needing to have a doggy bag as we can't finish the large portions. It is a sign of a good Indian restaurant that it is popular with locals and there are often parties held here. It is very friendly even if rather dated. Don't expect fine dining but do expect a very enjoyable meal.

Food is very good Staff are very friendly Good choice on menu Reasonable prices BUT... the whole place needs revamping! Paint, flooring, tables and chairs, literally everything! Have been going here for years and it has a lot of potential but needs to be more attractive

we went here for mothers day dinner. place was cold ok did not mind that but waited to be served for a long time 15 min to take our starter order. went there at 8.15 came out at 9.45 after paying too much for small portions of food and was refused an itemised bill, not going there again.

we always drop in on Kanchans Rasoi and they are always GREAT. This evening they were all set up for a big party, but they fitted us in before it all kicked off. BAXI the boss has a great restaurant, and another one in Gants Hill, but we love our local one. Beer is £2.50 a pint WOW....

There were 12 of us in East Ham one Saturday evening earlier this month to watch a disappointing game of football and to eat well in the evening. We chose the Kanchan restaurant, which I had previously tried a year ago. I can honestly say that all 12 of us rated the meal as one of the best they had ever had, and all agreed that we would go back on the next occasion, preferably also when West Ham manage to win. But well done to the restaurant for providing a truly excellent meal and a most enjoyable evening as a direct consequence. The service, food, environment and choice were excellent, and the meal was excellent value for money. I have been recommending it to everyone I have talked to about that weekend ever since.
