Sabi sa nka post sa wall ng Kamayan, leave a google review so eto na.😁 Date: 28/05/2023 - Sunday Time: 06:30pm—07:15pm Nagdecide kami na pumunta sa Earl's court today to try this restaurant. (60mins away via tube from home) My comments were based sa na experience namin. Unfriendly/Rude Staffs -Tumitingin pako ng itatakeout sana namin biglang kinuha ung menu, di man lang nagtanong kung tapos na kami umorder😆 Food - Tocino (Kapampangan Style) > matigas masyado yung meat na ginamit or sa pagkakaluto. - Lechon Kawali > challenging nguyain.

A little too pricey for what you get. For the price of dishes, rich should already be included. Pork bbq was tough and cold. Service was a bit off too. You order at the desk and the person before us forgot her card in their table. Staff became very annoyed for something very little. Staff should always be welcoming and hospitable as this is what this industry is about. There was already music playing but a customer next to us was blasting her own music on her phone, and the staff did not care. Overall not the best experience.

This place doesn’t even deserve even a zero rating ! This is the worst restaurant I have ever been. I don’t have time to write reviews but people need to know so you don’t waste your time & money. One , service was atrocious. There was this young boy who was serving and has no clue with anything. He served first the “lechon kawali after us waiting for 40min he didn’t say anything just put it in our table then the “paksiw lechon after 15min. My partner and I then waited for our rice , surely it doesn’t take long to serve them next but no nothing happened after few min so I get up and asked. He again has no clue what I was on about. Then this man who maybe the owner told the young boy to serve my rice but argued instead with this man . Gee it was very awkward. Lechon kawali was hard and very dry there was no sauce or anything with it! Lechon paksiw was all fatty hardly any mean in there it was absolutely disgusting . My partner and I didn’t have much choice than to eat them since we were starving and waited a long time. The so called ginatan ube which I was charged for £6.50 was disgusting. It was like a purple blob in a bowl part of it was freezing cold other half was boiling hot-disgusting. Shame on you to serve these to your honest and paying customers ! Are you so called kabayan- you won’t experience this kind of service and horrid food even the street food ( bangketa in the Philippines - shame on you !!

Thought it was only me but after going into Trip Advisor and seeing similar experiences, I've realized that this has been the culture cultivated in the said restaurant. We visited a couple of days ago hoping for an enjoyable experience. We came in and approached the till to greet the server. I could sense from the start that there wasn't much enthusiasm from the staff. My partner had to ask how we could order as he's not bothered to. He simply pointed to the sign that showed the 'meal deal'. Felt a little let down as I was expecting to order from the menu and try different dishes. However, we went on and ordered two meal deals. Paid before our order was served. Had to brush off the unwelcoming attitude. A big group came and were immediately handed over menus to choose from (the group was lovely!) and were even told of offers like tapsilog, etc. Once again, was a little weirded out why we haven't been given the same treatment. Shrugged it off once again. Food was served and quite mediocre. Not a problem, really. Some restaurants serve amazing food, some just passable. But the constant rudeness of staff just made it so much worse. Overheard the staff telling the customers, 'isa, isa lang ha, tinatapos ko pa order niyo' rudely, when customers are just enthusiastic to try the restaurant. Sadly, been to a lot of Filipino restaurants here in the UK but this, by far, is the worst in terms of customer service. Regretted the visit.

We had a sumptuous budol dinner that was supposed to be a night full of fun but it ended horribly. Fast forward, a friend and I held each other's hands giggling and getting excited to have our dessert orders taken saying halo-halo2x a few times to each other. The server was counting orders for our other friends when he suddenly turned his attention and raised his voice to me and my seatmate saying 'LOOK i'm ORDERING FOR THE TURONS CAN YOU STOP JOKING?? I AM SERIOUS HERE!! YOU THINK I AM JOKING?? and I AM NO JOKE!!!'. We kept our silence and maintained our composure since we were so taken aback for the futile attack, overwhelmed, shocked and of course, so as not to ruin our night--yet he continued to murmur and say unnecessary things. The man in the till tried to de-escalate what was happening and told him to hush and stop otherwise he could have continued. WE FELT VERY HUMILIATED. So if you plan to bring your friends here and especially your non-FILIPINO friends -don't. JUST DONT!!! THE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL treatment/ HARRASMENT towards us was UNACCEPTABLE and UNCALLED FOR.

I've ordered 'Binalot' fried fish but they gave me pork. Waiter mistake. Then, another waiting time again, The ordered arrived with a quarter size of the whole fish with a half slice of tomato, a slice cue with a teaspoon runny sauce of shrimp paste, topped with melted disgusting super salted egg on top of the rice. I mean, SUPER SALTY! It made me sicken. 🤮 Then Lomi Soup has in super high in glutamate knorr seasoning, it's so unhealthy, bluntly tasteless and swimming in bisto gravy. I requested for few slices of tomatoes but the waiter gave me a slice of lemon instead & he said, 'tomato it's expensive'. Take Note: You have to pay first & wait for half an hour before you can eat with your wrong orders. Plus! though I was over charge without receipt provided, so watchoutyourbills too. I'm so deadlly disappointed & shamed about this Filipino restaurant. Overall with their rude service, its quite cunning & you're bring pressured as well. Kamayan is the kind of standard one might expect in a poor part of the Philippines. The physical appearance of this establishment is run down, the food is of cheap quality and the standard of hygiene is not great. The prices though are London prices. The young waiter was the only positive thing about this place. London really needs a good quality Filipino restaurant that reflects the standard which can be found in the Philippines.

It is affordable especially considering it is stationed at central London. The serving of the viand can also be taken out for 6.50 but without the rice. Like I mentioned, it is affordable, but it doesnt compromise; it is delicious. Sodas and coffees are also available as refreshment. Unsure how long the food has been there also as the noodles were already dry and crispy, and nobody from the restaurant seemed to be keeping an eye on it. There were a few meat dishes but they seem to have all had some liver or something mixed in. Really cheap ingredients. I don't believe this buffet is a good example of Filipino cooking, I felt very guilty taking my boyfriend here as the experience appears to gave affected our stomaches as well. A friend posted her visit to this restaurant on Facebook and it inspired me to go and visit. We weren't disappointed! We ordered lumpaing Shanghai for starters, and for main courses - pork adobo, bulalo, sisig, palabok and lomi. The portions were generous! We had to take away our leftovers. It's a small clean cafe type place with good food. Next time, we will book ahead for the "boodle fight" menu. We were advised to book and at least the food will be cooked and ready on arrival. It's typical Filipino eating, with 4 main dishes served on banana leaf and you eat with your hands (optional).

Me and my girlfriends decided to eat in a Filipino restaurant as we don't have time to cook it at home, we even invited our foreign friends to try the Filipino dish. Unfortunately, we end up eating here because the restaurant that we wanted was full. At first we're no available staff for us to greet in and accompany us in our seats, then came this rude man and finally lead us to the table. Then he came back and took our orders, and in the middle of our conversation as we arr asking our foreign friends if they still fancy any food the waiter told us to hurry up because it takes time for the food to arrived. Then, as the starter arrived (spring rolls and lumpiang shanghai) he didn't even give us a dip. When my friend asked where's the dip he rudely said "help yourself" because it was our first time to eat in this restaurant we are not expecting this awful service then then in the counter told him something and finally he gave us the dip which was so watery and not tasted as written (sweet and sour). We kept coming back to the counter to ask for a dish wherein we can put put dip. Their sweet and sour sauce was even nearly empty. Then, food was served, pinakbet was awesome according to my italian friend, however my other friend was really disappointed with his rice noodles because you can only see few chicken strips and even the vegetables as if they're run out of supplies. However, he said it was tasty and even the palabok. Then, my other friend who ordered the so called "combo" which is a combination of tapa, longganisa and tocino arrived 10 minutes late and has to asked the waiter if it's still coming or not. The barbeque which was supposed to be as "starter" came while late and we're eating our main menu already. The combo meal was fairly fine but looks like as if it was reheated few times especially the tapa. When we asked the waiter if they served some drinks, he pointed the fridge and rudely told us to help ourselves.Good points:Ambience is good and nice interior design. ******The management of this restaurant should train their staff to be polite and be patient enough when taking the costumers order. Also, if it's "self service" they should clearly stated it as soon as possible so that costumers are not expecting the good service that they wanted. They should even put a variety of dips, refill it and give a decent dip bowl to the costumers.

It was my day-off and I thought I deserve to treat myself by eating authentic Filipino food. I invited two of my friends and they suggested a couple of Filipino restaurants, mostly of which I already had previous dining experiences which were not really that satisfying. So we thought of visiting Kamayan sa Earl’s Court for a change. I heard mixed feed backs about this restaurant and I thought it was worth trying. The restaurant was almost full when we came in but we were lucky enough to be seated immediately. The place was quite small but the atmosphere is comfortably homey. People around were very friendly and hospitable. The menu included a wide range of Filipino food with a number of Thai cuisine as well. Since we were hungry and missing food back home, we opted to order all Filipino food like Sisig, Beef Caldereta, Pinakbet and Daing na Bangus . Since the restaurant was full, it was understandable that the food we ordered was not delivered immediately. Anyway, we were entertained by watching TFC and having some chit-chats with our kababayans. The food was amazing and it surely did satisfy our cravings. I can say that they have the most authentic Filipino dishes I have tasted here in London. We were already full but I did not want to miss eating Halo-halo for dessert and it was superb! We go to this restaurant often as it by far has the most authentic Filipino food in London. The ambiance and service can be improved but the food is amazing. The food is Carendia style as well as made to order. The buffet always has authentic Filipino dishes such as, Lechon Kawali, Beef Caldereta, Dinuguuan, Pinakbet, Sinigang, Bicol Express etc.

If you are hungry and on the run, it's just fine. It was a bit crowded, and we were so hungry that we didn't care. It is important not to need good gourmet food in London, go with the flow when eating in London.

As you walk Into the restaurant, the atmosphere is very u welcoming. Everyone is busy with their own stuff and no one asks if you need anything. The owners or some people who are not patrons are sitting around talking very loudly. Service was very slow, I waited 20 mins for my food and I was the only one ordering some thing from the menu, the rest of the patrons ate from the buffet food. The aubergine with egg had almost half the egg too salty and the other half totally bland, the chef obviously didn't put salt evenly. The pork sisig was full of fats and no meat at all. There was also no liver nor lime which was stated in menu and would be in an authentic sisig. Totally disappointing

I was really craving for Filipino dishes and googled up Filipino restaurants that would be near the bank I had an appointment with today. Location wise it is perfect since it's only a few minutes away from the train station. Entering the restaurant at 11:20am, there were a few people inside already. It was a bit chaotic as there was no one to greet you or direct you on whether you just sit down and be waited upon or go up the till where people seem to congregate already although there was no visible proper queue. Me and my partner decided to stand in what looked like a queue to us and hope to be attended to. It did not seem like the congregation of people were moving at all so I walked up the busy till and tried to catch one of the staff's attention which happens to be a young, timid boy who is trying to do too many things at once. I asked him if we should just sit down on one of the empty tables, in which he politely said please do and handed me 2 menus while he carried on with whatever it was he was doing. We chose what we wanted from the menu and I walked back up the till and ordered, on which 3 of our chosen foods were NOT available and the owner (manager?) then insisted we have milkfish instead as tuna and tilapia are not available and apparently they don't taste as good as the milkfish (according to the man who, I assumed to be the owner or at least the manager). The vegetable spring rolls were not available either and since my partner is a vegetarian there was no other substitute for it. He did agree to cook us some fresh batch of Yang Chow rice as the young man serving us said that- as well was NOT available. The food arrived on a decent amount of waiting time, with my order of Tapsilog coming first. I felt bad about having my partner watch me as I eat but he knows I'm a slow eater anyway and did not mind it. His food came not long after that. The food was nice and if I was to rate the place based on the food alone, I'd give it 4 stars, 4 that could have been 5 but because more than half of our original order was not available, it is disappointing. My tapa (beef) looked like it had been reheated, but nonetheless was very tasty and did taste authentic. The garlic fried rice that came with it was also nice, nothing exceptional but not bad either. The Egg noodles chow mein was also very tasty and was happily eaten. The milkfish was also good and lived up to it's recommendation. The size is also generous. The Yang Chow rice went very well with the milkfish and the "atsara" (pickled carrots, papaya and bell pepper) was a perfect condiment for both the fish and the meat. I was hoping to have some dessert but the place was filling up and getting really crowded. You actually get people standing by your side waiting for you to finish which can be a bit uncomfortable. I did not know whether to clean after myself or leave it on our table. I cleared up as much as I can and left the pile of dishes on our table in the end. I queued up (on what looked like the queue) to pay for our food and was disgusted at how people who cut the line got served first. I am a Filipino as well but that attitude just appalled me. a man and women cut the line to be served first. I keep making eye contact to the serving boy and the owner (or manager) just to make sure they get the hint that I am patiently waiting for my turn -to NO avail. I was still served last, after everyone else cleared off. (Being with my English partner, I felt ashamed of my own people.) Good points:* the food tastes good and authentic (as far as my Filipino tongue is concerned)*the portions are generous and can be shared between 2 people who are small eaters*the prices are reasonable*they have TFC (for pinoys out there)*I have read in one outdated review that they seem to recycle straws (ewwww) for some reason, I am glad to inform everyone that their straw now comes in sealed individual packaging!Bad points:*is it a remittance center or a restaurant? (it's both I gather but I think they need another helper to help with the restaurant)*some people occupied tables without ordering making it awkward for those who actually wanted to eat*I saw the young man quickly wash the cutlery on the sink behind the bar: was it soaped and scrubbed? I failed to notice that bit.....(they do have that sterilizing container thing that I hope is in working condition...)*maybe have a sign saying QUEUE up? Not everyone is accustomed to being rude and elbow their way to get served first*take out the dishes NOT available on the day as it is really disappointing for customers I want to go back for the food is really good but I don't think I'm ready to experience that again anytime soon!I actually heard a Filipina Lady (aged around 45-50) say to her EUROPEAN partner "I DON'T THINK YOU WILL LIKE IT HERE" and left literally just 10 seconds after coming in. It's a shame, the atmosphere could be better. But not to be misled-THE FOOD IS GOOD, service could be better.

Don’t bother placing your order unless you’re prepared to cancel and walk out. It won’t arrive in the next hour and probably not logged into the system. If you’re lucky you’ll get your drinks serve

Sorprendido de encontrar comida tan barata en Londres. Las raciones eran geniales y el hombre que nos atendió fue encantador. Cuando llegamos allí estaba muy tranquilo y la comida llegó muy rápido. Pe
