Kam Too in Gosport

Lovely family, delicious food at a fair price. Lived in Gosport for 25 years and never bothered to go to any other takeaway as they could only be worse.

What a wonderful family, so friendly and sweet. Our dishes were delicious, serving sizes were huge. My favourite was chicken in garlic sauce. We will definitely be going back again and again.

Really speedy service! Ordered a chow mein and pancake roll, arrived piping hot along with prawn crackers and fortune cookies!

Food fantastic, I was served by a young lad & every time he dealt with any of the customers while I was there made my heart melt, he was so nice & super polite. It was so nice to see & hear him xxx

It's a great Chinese TAKE AWAY. The curry was very tasty also the egg fried rice..Good portions and price..Will definitely use again.

It is my utter favourite - full stop! Food is fantastic & well priced, service friendly, accommodating and unless silly busy waiting time is really good! Husband has never had a good reaction there either. Highly recommend. Hate going anywhere else.

Amazing! I have been looking everywhere around Gosport for a Chinese that tastes good and is hot when you get it and this is the only place with both of those things! The staff are so friendly, the flavours in the food are amazing and its very quick service! I would 100% recommend going here for your takeaways!

Food was good had a long wait but to be expected as it was Christmas eve. .

Delicious salt and chilli chips, I'd go there every time just for those.

Best Chinese in Gosport… when we decide what takeaway to have, Kam Too is its own category.. shall we have Indian? Chinese? Pizza? Kam Too. They don’t deliver and are still the most popular around because it is worth the drive down

I've used the Kam Too, Brockhurst road Gosport for around 50 years! It has always been a top class take away!

Went in and ordered sweet n sour chicken balls , chips and a plain chow mein.greeted by a friendly polite woman who took my order and I asked if I could pay by card and I could.only waited 10 mins max for my order.cycled home and the food was still piping hot and very nice.portion size was good too.ive used this place a few times over the last 6 months and it has always been good.ive seen this place hasn't had alot of up to date reviews so I thought I'd comment.my mrs ate her half, sat back and just looked at me with a smile and just said " maate!" .totally satisfied and both with full bellies .thanks for a nice meal kam too 😋

this Chinese has to be the worst in gosport ,,. chips greasy soft and soggy ,sweet and sour sauce is very distasteful,,shrimp curry bloody awful ,chicken curry the same ,sweet and sour Hong Kong style appalling . NOTHING NICE AT ALL .. NEVER AGAIN

A lovely local friendly Chinese. Great value for money. Always provide a hot delicious meal. Very friendly and can't fault their food.

It's been years since I used this take out when living in Gosport Moved back and thought yes it's still here it's going to be great How wrong was I. Very disappointing. The chow mein had no sauce and was very bland no flavour at all. One mouthful was enough. Even tried giving the fog the chicken but he wasn't having any of it. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was sweet as in sugar sweet so didn't have that either My OH had Kam too special curry and fried rice. The rice wasn't fried it was gloopy and stuck together and the curry was just like packet curry sauce added to pieces of meat!! I ended up just eating the chips although were over salty it was better than the rest of the meal Will never use Kam Too ever again. Think it will be a long while before I even want to try a Chinese take out again!!

Used to love the kam too many years ago. No ware near what it was. Waste of money. All four of us left it tonight. Straight in the bin it goes.

Sorry, house chips far from what they used to be and spare ribs rather stingey. New management hasn't helped and I won't visit again.

Good prices and the food is always delicious.

This was always the absolute best Chinese takeaway in Gosport for years and years. But when the management changed, the quality was greatly reduced. However, I thought I would give it another try and was pleased to find that the standard is now much better. King prawn curry and chicken curry were both nice and spicy. The mini spring rolls were a bit overdone but still perfectly edible. Staff very friendly.

Just finished a very ordinary special fried rice. Not as good as it used to be this take away. Lots of meat, mushrooms but very small prawns and the sauce looks decent but adds nothing to the dish. Feel a bit let down, used to love this Chinese take away as a young man. Won’t be back I am afraid. There are better ones around.

After months of not using this take away as it went down hill, had a lovely meal from there last night, crispy duck cooked just right, curry was spot on. Will definitely be using as our regular take away from now on .

Family takeaway was lovely, food was very hot, tasty and nowhere near as greasy and hot as other Chinese takeaways we have bought from in Gosport. We stopped going a couple of years ago as it went downhill but decided to try it and will be ordering again. The lady who served us was very friendly and we got a rice dish thrown in for free, which we didn't realise until we got home, what a lovely gesture.

This place use to be the best take away in Gosport by a country mile. NOT NO MORE.. Since the original owner left a couple of years ago this is the 2nd time I've used the place. The 1st time the food was awful, I was told last week that it was under new ownership again and was a lot better. Sadly It's still not good!!! If you like noodles that taste like they have been microwaved and flavourless then you'll love this place. Also when ordering chicken fried rice for £4.90 you would expect it to come in a large tray as all other takeaways do, so I was a bit miffed when I had a small tray for that price. The curry was ok tho.

Kam Too is now under new management. The food is great and service very quick. I have been going to this take away for over 30 years until about three months ago when someone else took over and the food went down hill rapidly. Since 28th February 2016 new people are running it and the food is fantastic.

Not much to say regarding the takeaway, just simply try it, this is the start to the weekend Chinese very tasty and competitively priced 👍👍👍

Almost unfair to comment as this was "our" Chinese takeaway for nearly 40 years, through two generations of family ownership. When open the place was always busy, the food consistently good and they never felt the need to deliver. It remains the nearest. Very soon after the change of management came a change of recipes which was quickly apparent and when questioned we were told "the customers prefer it." We didn't and stopped going and so it seems did a lot of other people. Tried again the other week and all I can really say is the food's okay but it is no longer the best in Gosport.

Very extensive menu and we phoned our order for collection.Very nice telephone manner and the food was ready when we arrived.Large portions and nicely packaged.More than enough for two and extremely tasty.Will go again.

Convenient for me as well as doing the best of my favourite Chinese Dishes, Sweet and Sour chicken, Hong Kong Style, and Crispy Chilli beef, really quick service, always with a smile!
